We stayed at Hotel Provincial for our small wedding this year with our immediate family members, because it was directly across the street from our venue. Upon originally calling t...
o make the reservation, we all had some mildly unpleasant interactions, but were still excited to be so close to our venue. Upon check-in, we were really happy with how pretty the area is and that we were able to get the specific rooms we had asked for. We were spread out all over a pretty big property (though we didn't ask to be close, so that was on us) so just know to ask to be nearby others if you're planning to stay here! There are also no elevators so be aware of that, too. Otherwise, we had an absolutely wonderful experience and were really happy with everything. We had our vendors come in and they were able to park their cars and charge it to our room which was really helpful. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to stay at!
This place hit all our marks. We wanted an outdoor venue for our ceremony. We wanted quaint accommodations for our wedding party. We wanted a reception venue on site. And we al...
so wanted it to be in the French Quarter. We loved staying at Hotel Provincial. We will probably continue to stay here when we visit NOLA and ignore the big chains. The staff was terrific. The reception's food was incredible. And Miss Kerri and Miss Dana, who helped us to organize the ceremony, could not have been more attentive and helpful. It was a perfect time!
Of all the venues in NOLA I visited to host my small wedding and reception, the Provincial was the ONE for me. As a destination wedding, with guests coming from different parts of ...
the country and world, the one thing I want for my wedding guests is the feeling they have “experienced, tasted and fell in love with New Orleans”. I expressed this thought with Events Director, Kerri and Chef Etienne whom helped me plan an amazing event at GREAT price by NOLA standards. With a beautiful courtyard for the wedding, perfectly appointed French decor suites and a lovely reception area, our wedding is sure to be the event I’ve dreamed of! The event did not disappoint! Beautiful appointments in the courtyard and reception. Amazing charcuterie and drinks the night before and the best second line ever! Our guest took home wonderful memories and a taste of New Orleans that will last a lifetime!
We had our ceremony in the Courtyard at the Hotel Provincial as well as a room block for our guests. The Courtyard is lovely for an intimate wedding ceremony and the service of the...
staff was wonderful. We had a wonderful day and appreciated the personal service and touches. Thank you for being a part of our special day. I can't wait to come back to visit for our anniversary in years to come!
We booked this hotel for our destination wedding for the courtyard, where we could have our wedding. We were so pleasantly surprise. The hotel is lovely. We stayed in the main h...
ouse and the 400 suites had guests in all parts of the hotel. The hotel and courtyard are beautiful and have a nice pool. The valet parking is great. We were married in the courtyard are Erica was a great help. The cost for the courtyard is $300, but you get a suite for the cost of a standard room, so it really pays for itself. No need for decor! And the hotel bar is great for those who have pre-ceremony party kind of guests!
I reserved blocks of rooms at Hotel Provincial and at Bienville House Hotel. Provincial was more expensive and in many ways sub-par. The rooms all open up to a noisy courtyard with...
housekeepers pushing noisy, reverberating carts starting at 6am on Sunday. The "honeymoon suite" was not particularly clean or nice. It's not terrible, but I recommend exploring other options.
The hotel was so much better than I ever could have imagined! The rooms were great! The coordinator was above and beyond helpful! The courtyard was beautiful. The staff was so help...
ful! We loved it! We will be going back.
The Hotel Provincial location is perfect! The courtyard is beautiful, there is so much history in the buildings, and there is (safe) valet parking. I was very pleased with the hote...
l itself, Margie was very nice and welcoming. What I had a problem with was that all of our guests were suppose to be in the rooms surrounding the courtyard but they were spread out in all 5 of the buildings...imagine keeping up with everyone! Don't expect too much from Robert, he is "NOT a wedding planner" just a "coordinator" who stands around and only does what he is suppose to after being told. For example, the hour leading up to the ceremony the chairs were still not in place and they weren't until about 5 people went to the front desk complaining. I loved the hotel as did all of my guests, the ceremony was gorgeous! We also chose the Latrobe room for rehearsal dinner and it was catered by the Stella chef, absolutely delicious!!!
