From the day we toured the venue, we were impressed with everything from the options available to us to customize our wedding and the incredible kindness and professionalism of the staff. Myra and team at the hotel were great to work with - quick to respond to questions, happy to accommodate small requests, and flawlessly executing every detail. Our guests were complimentary of the beautiful space, great food, kind staff and were huge fans of the late night snack option (we went with the french fry bar)! We can't thank Hotel Saranac enough for creating the most special day and can't recommend this venue enough!

Myra and Blake are so friendly and personable. They made me feel at home, or like old friends. They helped me plan my wedding with a short turn around without breaking a sweat. They were responsive with any questions I had - and there were so many. They were detail oriented so our big day went off without a hitch. Everyone has been raving about our wedding for months now. I cannot imagine a more perfect wedding venue or team.

My husband and I got married at the Hotel Saranac and are so happy we did! The venue is beautiful, unique, and full of character. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure that we and our guests had the best weekend possible. The weekend itself was amazing but so was the amount of time and energy that Myra and her team put into coordinating everything to truly make it the wedding of our dreams. Myra is great at what she does! Planning a wedding can be stressful and there are a lot of decisions to be made but Myra answered my all questions (almost instantly), provided wonderful suggestions, was flexible, organized and detailed, and always made time to meet with me. It was wonderful to feel supported (start to finish) by a team of experts! We are so happy that we made the decision to book our wedding at the Hotel Saranac and highly recommend doing the same!

Made our wedding reception most memorable!

We fell in love with Hotel Saranac when we visited in 2018 and five years later, we had an amazing wedding here! From the beginning, Myra was so helpful, kind, and professional - she made the planning process so easy and enjoyable, I truly wasn't even stressed about anything. Hotel Saranac provides just about everything you need and the staff are all incredibly helpful and professional, from the reception attendants to the bartenders and servers. Myra and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests were happy and taken care of, and that everything looked/functioned the way we wanted. We were also pleasantly surprised with the pricing and everything that was included, allowing us to have a beautiful wedding in a special venue without going over our budget. I can't think of anything we would have wanted to be done differently and we're so grateful for the team at Hotel Saranac for helping us have the most amazing wedding we could have imagined!

I cannot say enough great things about Hotel Saranac, they are amazing! Just as some insight with my experience with the Hotel my wife and I had our wedding ceremony & reception both at the hotel on February 18th 2023. From the first visit we wanted Hotel Saranac to be our wedding venue and it was a wonderful experience from the start. Myra is truly amazing, and we cannot say enough how great it was working with her! Communication was always stellar and the willingness to work with us with all our unique ideas to incorporate into the reception was always welcomed and if not immediate having answers to our questions Myra would get a confirmation to our questions in hardly anytime at all! On the day of the wedding, we cannot think of anything that could have gone any better with the day of execution from Myra and her staff! The friendly service from all the staff was such a pleasurable experience and so many of our guests have given endless compliments about how wonderful the staff was at our wedding. Food and drinks were spot on from our tasting experience which was a huge relief for us both and the hotel was so accommodating to work with us with our custom meal and hors d’oeuvres selections. Our day was perfect, and we owe so much of it to Myra and all the Hotel Saranac team! If you are looking for a truly amazing wedding experience from a venue then look no further, Hotel Saranac is the place! We had a wonderful wedding experience at Hotel Saranac! All of the staff with whom we worked (especially Myra and Blake) were supportive and accommodating as we (unexpectedly) planned a winter wedding in 2.5 months for over 150 guests in what ended up being a Nor'Easter. The food and service were outstanding for both our rehearsal dinner buffet and wedding reception with plated meals. Any details that required confirmation or modification were handled extremely well. The wait staff and bartenders were professional and caring from start to finish. The space was elegant and magical- especially when decorated for Christmas. All of our reception decor was laid out beautifully (all we needed to do was drop it off!). They even cleared the terrace for snowy pictures! Thank you, Hotel Saranac for creating the perfect wedding weekend.

When we booked Hotel Saranac, there was a different sales coordinator in charge. We were frantic that we made the wrong decision because of poor case management. However, when Myra took over last year, everything changed! Myra and Blake were incredible. Always willing to answer calls and emails about the most miniscule things. Our wedding day was nothing short of amazing. The venue, the food, the staff- all amazing. All our guests raved about our wedding and the venue. I highly recommend Hotel Saranac if you're looking for a place to get married in the High Peaks region. Five stars for value!!!

We had the best wedding imaginable at Hotel Saranac. The space is a gem and makes for a beautiful wedding. The team at the hotel is top notch, and went above and beyond through the planning process and the day of to help us and ensure the day went smoothly. The venue was beautiful on a fall day and the rooftop made for great photos! 100% would have chosen this venue again if we had to do it over again!

AMAZING. Myra and her team were so awesome; the wedding was better than expected. The chef was fantastic, food cooked to perfection. Drinks and bar program amazing - thanks Emma! If you want a cool wedding in a beautiful location like the Adirondacks, but don’t want a rustic camp wedding - come here! Your friends and family can hike in the AM and have martinis in a beautiful Art Deco space in the evening. 15/10 get married here.

We couldn't have picked a better place for our wedding reception. Hotel Saranac went above and beyond for myself and the groom on our special day! They were very accommodating upon arrival for the weekend, right until we left for the honeymoon! The night of our wedding we found a sweet gift from the hotel. The Hotel Saranac was nothing but helpful in getting us to our wedding day stress-free. The hotel is the best-looking venue in the north country, without any faux-rustic vibes (like many other nearby places)! The staff was incredibly helpful in the planning process and really wonderful to work with on the day of. The drinks are excellent, the decor is great, and our guests loved the venue overall. 10/10 would get married there again.

A beautiful, classic venue. We loved having our ceremony on the terrace, cocktail hour in the great hall, and reception in the ballroom. Myra and the Hotel Saranac were a pleasure to work with. Emails and phone calls were always answered in a timely manner (and I had a lot of questions!) and the professionalism was unmatched. Myra was very organized and transparent on how the planning process would work and what she needed from us to make the wedding a success. Our guests raved about the food and the venue was the perfect balance of outdoor space, relaxing lounge, and a ballroom dance party. Not to mention it is the perfect location in downtown Saranac Lake with walking distance to several bars for an organized or impromptu after party. All employees provided outstanding service both at the reception and at the farewell breakfast we did the next day (highly recommend- it was a hit!). Myra helped us plan every detail and we loved all the extras the hotel provided like table numbers, center pieces, and bar signage. One less thing to worry about! My now husband and I also really loved the menu tasting the Hotel Saranac offered, as we found it to be a rare thing to come by at wedding venues in the Lake Placid/Saranac Lake area, and we loved that we had exclusive use of the space for 8+ hours as most venues only offer 5 hours without an upcharge. The rooms and suites were also amazing, with our suite in particular being a great and spacious spot for the groom and groomsmen to get ready, eat breakfast (prepared and delivered to the door by the hotel), and hang out before the wedding. We cannot say enough about how happy we were with our wedding weekend. Thank you Hotel Saranac!

Myra and her team at Hot Sara were awesome! Very responsive and fun to work with. Our food tasting a few months ago was an experience in and of itself and The Big Day went off without a hitch.

We can't say enough great things about the Hotel Saranac as a venue for our wedding! The pictures don't do justice to the beauty of this hotel. Myra, the sales director, was fantastic from start to finish. She was professional, so attentive to detail, responsive to emails, and calm under pressure. The food was delicious far more than typical wedding fare (thank you Chef Mike and his staff) the dining staff on point (thanks Taylor and Sadie and all) the bartenders so knowledgeable serving up the best cocktails! These people really care about their guests.Oh and the raw bar? out of this world! Our wedding was everything we hoped it would be !

The Hotel Saranac was the perfect site for our wedding. It has a little bit of everything - outdoor space, views, historic value, lovely and comfortable suites, luxury without being ostentatious. The staff was so attentive and caring, especially our venue coordinator Myra. She was incredibly helpful and considerate, and we felt like we were in good hands the entire time. Highly recommend!

Hotel Saranac is an amazing and unique event venue. You have plenty of space for guest to use and it is absolutely stunning. The hotel staff is amazing and we constantly felt like they were going above and beyond. There were so many small touches that made the weekend that much more special. We had the pleasure of working closely with Myra. She is incredible to work with and helped make the planning process less stressful. Our wedding was beyond out expectations and a large part of that was due to Myra and the Hotel Saranac team. I could go on and on about how amazing the hotel is. All of our guest loved the space and kept commenting about the food and how amazing everyone was. We would 100% have an event here again!

What made it special was knowing all the work that she and her team put into the day but made the flow for all guests and vendors move so effortlessly and everyone had a good time, even the wait staff! Hotel Saranac is absolutely beautiful with unique character. We particularly liked that you have use of the entire space all night, so folks who do not want to be right by the DJ can hang in the gorgeous great hall or on the terrace. Their wedding packages include a lot compared to other venues we explored and we never felt "nickled and dimed." Our day-of coordination was wonderful and all the staff were friendly and responsive. The bartenders were amazing and contributed to our guests having a great time. I am not giving the venue 5 stars, however, because throughout the planning process it was extremely difficult to get in touch via email and phone. Our emails would go unanswered for weeks at a time, which was stressful as the wedding date approached and we needed answers to various questions. Overall, I would still recommend this venue and cannot stress how awesome our wedding day was, but the planning process nearly gave me an ulcer.

I cannot think of a single thing I would have changed for my wedding this past September! The venue was beautiful and the coordinating team was top notch! We had our rehearsal dinner and ceremony on the terrace and the reception in the ballroom. The bridal party got ready downstairs in the ember room and the groomsmen got ready in a suite in the adjoining building. I have received so many compliments from my guests! Everyone had a blast in a beautiful venue in the perfect Adirondack town. We had ~100 guests but I would highly recommended to anyone regardless of size!

Hotel Saranac hosted a small "reception" dinner for our party of 15 following our elopement ceremony nearby. We were able to rent the Ember Room and the staff helped us choose a menu for a plated dinner ahead of time. Everything was delicious and gorgeous, and the staff took excellent care of our group. I was so happy to find somewhere that would not only accommodate our small group, but give us a wonderful experience that fit our budget.
