rnment rate as well as my tax exemption form with no hassle at all, which I really appreciated.
The room was beyond spacious and spotless, with two bathrooms and a beautiful soaking tub that made it feel more like a suite than just a regular hotel room. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I slept great every night. From my balcony I had a perfect view of the pool, which looked very inviting and well-maintained.
The location of the hotel was also ideal — safe, quiet, and with free parking that made everything super convenient. Check-out was just as smooth as check-in, and the staff kept their friendly, welcoming attitude the entire time.
Overall, the Hourglass Hotel went above and beyond my expectations. Clean, comfortable, safe, and professional — I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bakersfield, whether for business or leisure. I’ll definitely be staying here again.

Nice hotel with spacious rooms and a comfortable bed. Everything was clean, and the option to cast from your phone to the TV is a great plus! The bathroom is a bit small, but overall the room is pleasant.
However, the breakfast was quite basic ...
— just oatmeal, cereals, yogurt, and juice. We expected a bit more based on the description.
The pool looks nice, even though we didn’t get the chance to try it. Close to a Tesla Supercharger +++

Nice big room! It was your average hotel experience. The set up of the complex was a bit weird but that didn’t bother me. One thing was that there weren’t any tables for breakfast which sucked but otherwise it was a nice place with clean rooms ...
and a fair price! I’d go back for sure.

Disappointing, the front desk clerk was not able to give us proper directions to where the room 101 was which he allocated to us for our one night stay.

3- Breakfast: Though mentioned on the website as FULL, it's just with muffins and flavored Yogurt, I would say it's probably below basic.
4- Would I plan to stay there again, no.
I would not stay to any of Wyndham Hotels as they do not meet reasonable satisfaction despite charging almost the same as any other 3/4 star hotel.
