downstairs a lot, but when I was, they always asked me what I needed or what they could do to help. The rooms upstairs are spacious enough (I had 8 bridesmaids and two flower girls) that we could all fit comfortably and enjoy our time up there! I can’t the House State enough for everything that they did for Daniel and I. I’m so lucky to have picked an amazing place like this one!!

xact same thing — there is something so special about this venue. Lilian, the whole staff and the owners of the House Estate truly are a gem. From a financial and budgeting perspective, there are no hidden fees with the venue — you can use their preferred vendors or bring in whoever you’d like (though I’d highly suggest working with their in-house chef Juan Carlos for the meal, the food is delicious!) and the DJ and little things that add up at other venues like linens and various decor items are included in the price of the venue. They also only do one event a day— a huge plus! You can bring anything you’re adding to the space decor-wise, alcohol for the reception, snack foods for in between the ceremony and reception, etc. the day before so you’re not hauling a whole bunch of extra stuff the day-of. The staff handles the setup, works the wedding and reception, and helps with the breakdown and making sure you get all of your belongings out at the end. Full service start to finish! All of that said— the REAL beauty of this venue is that it once was a home where people lived, and though it’s been altered a bit to accommodate large gatherings now it still has that same “home” feeling. Warm and inviting, classic and timeless. Lived in and loved — with so many stories to tell. What more could you ask for in a place to commemorate starting this next season of life?! My husband and I would recommend the House Estate to any couple in the market for a place to get married.

property is breathtaking! Lillian was so sweet and very helpful from our very first visit , answering our many questions and great with suggestions. She got to know Kayla and what she and Zachk wanted and made suggestions as she knew we all were lost in this process. She was a great help and her and her staff went above and beyond on the day of the wedding . It was more beautiful than I could ever imagine . Pictures do not do this place justice. The property is gorgeous on its own but you the possibilities are endless! We used their preferred vendors and this all ran smoothly and took the overwhelming feeling from this Mom away. I have to say Lillian was very patient and reassuring from day one until the day of the wedding . Thank you Lillian and staff at House Estate for making my baby’s special day more memorable than we could have ever dreamt! Words cannot begin to express my thanks !

he wedding coordinator, is fun and patient and truly listens to the vision you have for your event - then she, with the help of a phenomenal staff, make that vision come to life! She answered my unending slew of questions quickly and with great patience. Pam and Calvin House are kind, generous people. Pam even greeted our guests at the door the night of the event! We used several of House Estate's preferred vendors and everything was flawless! They handled our event of approximately 250+ guests with ease - a well oiled machine! I highly recommend House Estate for any special occasion you have coming up - weddings, retirements, graduations, etc.! The home is beautifully elegant and the staff is tremendous. It is an absolute gem, easy to get to just off the freeway, but completely tucked away! A 5 star experience!

ose from, lots of new and trendy looking places, but I have to say House Plantation is such a gem for it's authentic style, flexibility with indoor/outdoor use, and incredible staff. They are flexible with the things you want flexibility with, like food and alcohol (you can use whoever you want, or provide it yourself), but have support in the places you need it as well, such as setup and tear down. They have a full staff the day of your event, and the coordinator Connie is such a character to work with, but you will be confident that she will have your day run smoothly. I really enjoyed my experience with House Plantation and would have my wedding there again and again! Thanks for everything Connie!

of! My ceremony was outdoor. The gazebo, lake, trees, and sunset was a perfect picturesque background for a wedding ceremony. The reception hall has windows all around it that provided an outdoor feeling for an indoor environment. Everything is just gorgeous! I also want to give my special thanks to Connie and all the staff at House Plantation to help me with this wedding. It would be a lie if I say I wasn't stressing about the wedding a bit, but Connie is just so great that she helped make everything go so smoothly and relieved me from all the worries. She is very experienced and knows exactly what to do for each component of the wedding. Plus she is just a fun person to talk to and work with. It's definitely a five star experience for me. The venue is very reasonably priced for such a beautiful place and the flawless service! I would definitely recommend House Plantation to anyone that I know!

veryone being on their A game the entire day. I didn't have any complaints from any of our guests. The venue itself is BEAUTIFUL and made for the prettiest pictures and video. We looked at so many venues that did not have any wow factor and this one definitely has it the minute you drive onto the property. Thank you to the staff for making our wedding day so wonderful. all. The grounds are well maintained and if you have the misfortune of bad weather the inside is just as beautiful. To top it off connie and the staff were on top of everything from the minute we arrived. You get the house for the entire day and connie is there assisting with the set up and checking in just enough to remind you that it's your day and it's going to be beautiful. She updated me throughout the day and made me feel very comfortable. She helped my husband (still can't believe I can say that) when he get shaving cream on his tux and everything. both of us knew we wanted from the get go. The venue was easy to contact and we were able to get an appointment to see the place very quickly. That's when we met Connie and were pretty much sold on the place. The House Plantation really does think of everything. You can choose to have them include a minister, fireworks, margarita machines, horse-drawn carriage, etc. The package price includes linens (though we ended up buying our own because I was obsessed with them). And anything you don't need they will simply take out of the price. The price is broken out line by line and includes everything but your florist, photographer and videographer. The price will fluctuate depending on how much you pay for food. Connie did such an awesome job of helping us through all of these choices. The awesome part? YOU GET TO BRING YOUR OWN ALCOHOL!!! And if you've done your research you know how expensive it can get when you have to pre-pay the venue for it all. We got all of it from Spec's and took all the leftovers back for a refund. Literally so awesome. From day one, Connie was readily available for any questions that came up and helped me through the entire process as far as timelines and making sure everything got done. Y'all, they are brilliant there. The venue is an old 1800's plantation home and still has all of its old southern charm. And the acreage it's on?? AMAZING. The property is perfectly groomed and has a beautiful, long driveway lined with trees that are wrapped in Christmas lights year round. As if this place could get any more beautiful than it already was, Connie and her team turned that place into a dream come true! They coordinated well with all of my vendors to ensure that it went off without a hitch. It comfortably seats 300 and we had about 220 with plenty of room left over for dancing (which we did a lot of)! I wish one of my friends would get married here just so I could ATTEND one and get to watch the whole thing from another perspective. My family and I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a sweet, elegant and beautiful venue for one of the most wonderful days of your life.

work with- I am soooo picky. But they met me at every turn, gave me incredibly useful advice, and brought my vision to life. Their vendor suggestions (they are not exclusive to any particular ones) are absolutely wonderful. It was a joy to work with everyone involved. All of my guests are still talking about how beautiful my wedding was weeks later! Beautiful, to me, is an understatement. House is GORGEOUS. Amazing venue for a secluded yet cozy atmosphere- the epitome of southern comfort!

Connie, Mercedes, and Pedro are all wonderful, friendly, attentive and provide any and everything you need to make sure your special day runs smoothly. nable then the other places in Katy. The only thing I did not like was that when I was getting ready in the morning, there were people walking in on us that was on the tour of the house. I was putting my dress on and someone was about to walk in on me that was not part of my wedding party. Other than that we absolutely loved HOUSE.

ything at the Plantation is included in a package and their vendors are all definitely worth it! The Plantation back porch was also just glassed in making a June wedding possible without worrying about older guests and everyone getting all sweaty. The Plantation is gorgeous during the day but it is even better all lit up at night - and the fireworks at night when you are leaving is a great send-off to your new life as a married couple! I would 100% recommend House Plantation to any bride! It is an all around magical place to be married to your best friend or for any event!

it all. I set up one example table with my centerpiece and then they did the rest of the tables perfectly. I had over three hundred guests and they were all through the buffet line in 35 minutes. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an outdoor, vintage, or country site.
