House Estate

I had my wedding here on May 24, 2019 and let me tell you, it was the best day of my life. Your wedding day is going to be stressful, but they made things soo much easier. I wasn’t downstairs a lot, but when I was, they always asked me what I needed or what they could do to help. The rooms upstairs are spacious enough (I had 8 bridesmaids and two flower girls) that we could all fit comfortably and enjoy our time up there! I can’t the House State enough for everything that they did for Daniel and I. I’m so lucky to have picked an amazing place like this one!!

We knew the first time we came by the House Estate that it wasn’t like other venues we’d toured — there was just something special about it. Post-wedding day it’s easy to say the exact same thing — there is something so special about this venue. Lilian, the whole staff and the owners of the House Estate truly are a gem. From a financial and budgeting perspective, there are no hidden fees with the venue — you can use their preferred vendors or bring in whoever you’d like (though I’d highly suggest working with their in-house chef Juan Carlos for the meal, the food is delicious!) and the DJ and little things that add up at other venues like linens and various decor items are included in the price of the venue. They also only do one event a day— a huge plus! You can bring anything you’re adding to the space decor-wise, alcohol for the reception, snack foods for in between the ceremony and reception, etc. the day before so you’re not hauling a whole bunch of extra stuff the day-of. The staff handles the setup, works the wedding and reception, and helps with the breakdown and making sure you get all of your belongings out at the end. Full service start to finish! All of that said— the REAL beauty of this venue is that it once was a home where people lived, and though it’s been altered a bit to accommodate large gatherings now it still has that same “home” feeling. Warm and inviting, classic and timeless. Lived in and loved — with so many stories to tell. What more could you ask for in a place to commemorate starting this next season of life?! My husband and I would recommend the House Estate to any couple in the market for a place to get married.

We were blessed to just have our Daughter’s wedding here just a few weeks ago! I am so happy that we found the House Estate as when we walked in , we knew this was the place. This property is breathtaking! Lillian was so sweet and very helpful from our very first visit , answering our many questions and great with suggestions. She got to know Kayla and what she and Zachk wanted and made suggestions as she knew we all were lost in this process. She was a great help and her and her staff went above and beyond on the day of the wedding . It was more beautiful than I could ever imagine . Pictures do not do this place justice. The property is gorgeous on its own but you the possibilities are endless! We used their preferred vendors and this all ran smoothly and took the overwhelming feeling from this Mom away. I have to say Lillian was very patient and reassuring from day one until the day of the wedding . Thank you Lillian and staff at House Estate for making my baby’s special day more memorable than we could have ever dreamt! Words cannot begin to express my thanks !

My daughter's wedding reception at House Estate was everything we had hoped for! The venue itself is beautiful, then add their outstanding service and you have a success! Lilian, the wedding coordinator, is fun and patient and truly listens to the vision you have for your event - then she, with the help of a phenomenal staff, make that vision come to life! She answered my unending slew of questions quickly and with great patience. Pam and Calvin House are kind, generous people. Pam even greeted our guests at the door the night of the event! We used several of House Estate's preferred vendors and everything was flawless! They handled our event of approximately 250+ guests with ease - a well oiled machine! I highly recommend House Estate for any special occasion you have coming up - weddings, retirements, graduations, etc.! The home is beautifully elegant and the staff is tremendous. It is an absolute gem, easy to get to just off the freeway, but completely tucked away! A 5 star experience!

Get married here. You won't regret it. Venue is gorgeous. My guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was. The staff and owners are incredible. Beyond accomading and just made sure everything ran smooth. I can't thank them enough for helping make our day perfect.

We were scheduled to be married here 9/3/17, but Hurricane Harvey forced us to alter plans. House Estate was extremely understanding and allowed us to postpone our event until 1/13/18. Mrs. House, Connie, and the rest of the staff took care of anything we needed and were very quick to answer any questions we had. We were in great hands!!

We got married on 10/28/17 and everything about this venue was perfect! Connie, the coordinator, and her staff keep everything running smoothly from start to finish! They make the planning process easy and don't nickle and dime you over cake cutting and cork fees. They even set up and take down the decorations! It took away so much stress and we had the most wonderful wedding!

With a venue, I think it's all about the details and the amenities, and House Plantation far exceeds many that my husband and I looked at. There are so many venues out there to choose from, lots of new and trendy looking places, but I have to say House Plantation is such a gem for it's authentic style, flexibility with indoor/outdoor use, and incredible staff. They are flexible with the things you want flexibility with, like food and alcohol (you can use whoever you want, or provide it yourself), but have support in the places you need it as well, such as setup and tear down. They have a full staff the day of your event, and the coordinator Connie is such a character to work with, but you will be confident that she will have your day run smoothly. I really enjoyed my experience with House Plantation and would have my wedding there again and again! Thanks for everything Connie!

House Plantation made our wedding dreams come true! The entire staff there was wonderful and made the night so stress-free, I had nothing to worry about! Connie was so great in the planning process, letting me know what steps were next each time I checked something off of our list. I feel like I had so many questions and requests and everyone was so accommodating to us, I can't say enough how wonderful it was to have our wedding here! It was the best day ever!

We got married on 08/27/2016 and it was a wonderful experience having my wedding at House Plantation. It went above and beyond my expectation and was everything that I ever dreamed of! My ceremony was outdoor. The gazebo, lake, trees, and sunset was a perfect picturesque background for a wedding ceremony. The reception hall has windows all around it that provided an outdoor feeling for an indoor environment. Everything is just gorgeous! I also want to give my special thanks to Connie and all the staff at House Plantation to help me with this wedding. It would be a lie if I say I wasn't stressing about the wedding a bit, but Connie is just so great that she helped make everything go so smoothly and relieved me from all the worries. She is very experienced and knows exactly what to do for each component of the wedding. Plus she is just a fun person to talk to and work with. It's definitely a five star experience for me. The venue is very reasonably priced for such a beautiful place and the flawless service! I would definitely recommend House Plantation to anyone that I know!

The staff at House Plantation was AMAZING. They made sure every last detail was ready and I really didn't have to worry about anything on the wedding day. I was so thankful for everyone being on their A game the entire day. I didn't have any complaints from any of our guests. The venue itself is BEAUTIFUL and made for the prettiest pictures and video. We looked at so many venues that did not have any wow factor and this one definitely has it the minute you drive onto the property. Thank you to the staff for making our wedding day so wonderful. It was a dream come true.

We got married on April 30, 2016 and it was our dream come true. House plantation is absolutely breathtaking. I never had to look at another wedding venue because this place has it all. The grounds are well maintained and if you have the misfortune of bad weather the inside is just as beautiful. To top it off connie and the staff were on top of everything from the minute we arrived. You get the house for the entire day and connie is there assisting with the set up and checking in just enough to remind you that it's your day and it's going to be beautiful. She updated me throughout the day and made me feel very comfortable. She helped my husband (still can't believe I can say that) when he get shaving cream on his tux and everything. Connie (the venue coordinator) and the team at House Plantation were absolutely incredible. My husband Josh and I (woah, husband) had our ceremony AND reception there... something both of us knew we wanted from the get go. The venue was easy to contact and we were able to get an appointment to see the place very quickly. That's when we met Connie and were pretty much sold on the place. The House Plantation really does think of everything. You can choose to have them include a minister, fireworks, margarita machines, horse-drawn carriage, etc. The package price includes linens (though we ended up buying our own because I was obsessed with them). And anything you don't need they will simply take out of the price. The price is broken out line by line and includes everything but your florist, photographer and videographer. The price will fluctuate depending on how much you pay for food. Connie did such an awesome job of helping us through all of these choices. The awesome part? YOU GET TO BRING YOUR OWN ALCOHOL!!! And if you've done your research you know how expensive it can get when you have to pre-pay the venue for it all. We got all of it from Spec's and took all the leftovers back for a refund. Literally so awesome. From day one, Connie was readily available for any questions that came up and helped me through the entire process as far as timelines and making sure everything got done. Y'all, they are brilliant there. The venue is an old 1800's plantation home and still has all of its old southern charm. And the acreage it's on?? AMAZING. The property is perfectly groomed and has a beautiful, long driveway lined with trees that are wrapped in Christmas lights year round. As if this place could get any more beautiful than it already was, Connie and her team turned that place into a dream come true! They coordinated well with all of my vendors to ensure that it went off without a hitch. It comfortably seats 300 and we had about 220 with plenty of room left over for dancing (which we did a lot of)! I wish one of my friends would get married here just so I could ATTEND one and get to watch the whole thing from another perspective. My family and I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a sweet, elegant and beautiful venue for one of the most wonderful days of your life.

Getting married at House Plantation was a beautiful dream-come-true. Connie and her team seamlessly kept my expectations met and exceeded. I probably was not the easiest bride to work with- I am soooo picky. But they met me at every turn, gave me incredibly useful advice, and brought my vision to life. Their vendor suggestions (they are not exclusive to any particular ones) are absolutely wonderful. It was a joy to work with everyone involved. All of my guests are still talking about how beautiful my wedding was weeks later! Beautiful, to me, is an understatement. House is GORGEOUS. Amazing venue for a secluded yet cozy atmosphere- the epitome of southern comfort!

Absolutely perfect, breathtaking, and excellent service. The venue speaks for itself, so when you add a caring and attentive staff, you will be beyond excited on your special day. Connie, Mercedes, and Pedro are all wonderful, friendly, attentive and provide any and everything you need to make sure your special day runs smoothly. House plantation and its crew are like fairy godmothers! They took my vision and made it all come true. It was truly like magic seeing it all out together at the end! They went above and beyond and were a delight to work with. We loved Connie and the rest of the staff, and the venue is truly beautiful!

I always envisioned getting married on a beach but living in Houston hinders that dream. I have ALWAYS loved the look of plantation houses and this was in the PERFECT location for us, nice and quiet no traffic and beautiful water ponds as well!! Its absolutely breathtaking at night all lit up. I wouldn't for a second ever think of having my wedding anywhere else.

House Plantation was a wonderful place. The house is an 1800 style plantation house with an enclosed patio on the back. This has a great southern feeling. The price was more reasonable then the other places in Katy. The only thing I did not like was that when I was getting ready in the morning, there were people walking in on us that was on the tour of the house. I was putting my dress on and someone was about to walk in on me that was not part of my wedding party. Other than that we absolutely loved HOUSE.

The staff at House Plantation well exceeded my expectations! Connie & Ben were fabulous and really worked with you to bring your vision of the perfect day together. This venue has a very grand presence about it. Overall, I'm very happy we chose this venue to host our reception!

I had my wedding at House Plantation on June 8, 2013 and it was perfect! Connie Franklin and her staff are amazing and made my night something that I will never forget! Mostly everything at the Plantation is included in a package and their vendors are all definitely worth it! The Plantation back porch was also just glassed in making a June wedding possible without worrying about older guests and everyone getting all sweaty. The Plantation is gorgeous during the day but it is even better all lit up at night - and the fireworks at night when you are leaving is a great send-off to your new life as a married couple! I would 100% recommend House Plantation to any bride! It is an all around magical place to be married to your best friend or for any event!

I loved all. The staff very helpful and worked well to make sure everything was done the only problem was the lady that owned the house caused issues with my decor I didn't quite like that expeciallt since it cost me a lot more money to use the decor I wanted . Just make sure u talk to connie first about it . I was a unique bride anyways I'm sure everyone else's stuff will be fine

The House Plantation in Hockley is the most beautiful place to have a dream wedding and Handled by the best staff I have ever experienced Connie, Ben and Jennifer and their Staff are so professional. We had our daughters Wedding their 11/09/2012 It was perfect KUDOs to the team for a job well done. It was perfect GOD BLESS YOU and your team.

They were wonderful! Connie, the wedding coordinator, took care of everything! We brought all our drinks and appetizers the day of the wedding. The staff arranged and decorated it all. I set up one example table with my centerpiece and then they did the rest of the tables perfectly. I had over three hundred guests and they were all through the buffet line in 35 minutes. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an outdoor, vintage, or country site.

i had my wedding at House Plantation just a couple weeks ago and it was the most wonderful experience ever! The staff is outstanding in their service and interactions. Connie is amazing and will handle everything for you so you don't have to worry about anything at all. I would recommend this place 100 times over! I loved it!!!

The venue was perfect! We got tons of compliments from our guests. The staff went above and beyond. I cannot say enough good things about Connie. She was the selling point for us, and she absolutely delivered.

I absolutely love the place my husband and I got married. It was everything I could have imagined and more. We had a beautiful outdoor wedding with about 175 guests and everyone has told me how beautiful our wedding was. We could have not done it without the advice of House Plantation's wedding coordinator: Connie. She is amazing at her job! Also the Mr. And Mrs. House were absolutely charming and very gracious. And not to mention the wonderful staff who did such an amazing job! Thank you for all your hard work
