House of Clarendon

to work with—creative, responsive, and deeply committed to ensuring every detail was perfect. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the cake was. We have and will continue to go back to get his cupcakes as they are perfect. We cannot recommend Martine enough and will continue to go to him for all of our special occasion cakes in the future.

elpful, gave incredible advice and made me feel so comfortable. He listened to exactly what i wanted and the cake was easily the best wedding cake i’ve ever tasted. We haven’t even had our wedding yet, but i had to come on here and rave about them. you will not be disappointed!

t have asked for a more beautiful cake and Martine was so fun and helpful along the way. Thank you so much!!

so honest to explain which will be waste of money. I love his honesty. Usually wedding , every single demand will cost you money. We were also looking for not too sweet cake. The flavor was perfect for us too. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend it.

ork with. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and we honestly felt like he had our back. The cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Not only that, but our guests raved about how good the cake and cupcakes were. Thank you so much Martine!!!

sion of classic with a small modern twist. Even a simple cake he made look stunning and the showpiece at our wedding. He was super easy to work with and always got right back to us. Cannot find a better wedding cake option in the area!!!

florist. Martine custom designed our cake after hearing our vision for the day. Order from House of Clarendon if you want a truly personalized experience and cake. I am excited to order our complimentary anniversary cake soon!

ine. He was so great to worked with and called often to check in with us leading up to the big day. I would eat those cupcakes every day if I could!!

we were very happy with the design process.

. Moist, rich and flavorful. It just melted in your mouth! He took all of our requests and made them even better. You will not be disappointed!!

that it was not set up correctly. When we had spoke previously with Martine he asked us to leave the flowers and “love" wedding cake topper on the cake table for him to assemble. We left the things on the table but the cake was just dropped off in the kitchen and never assembled. Thankfully our day of coordinator was able to assemble the cake for us, but we were definitely disappointed in this type of costumer service on a day when you already have so many tasks to take care of; it would've been nice to not have to worry about the cake.

I wanted seconds but our guests ate ALL the cake! It was THAT good! We didn't have to worry about saving the top of the cake because they bake another cake for your one-year anniversary! If you're searching for someone to make a beautiful cake that tastes phenomenal book with House of Clarendon!

lavors he had us sample were amazing and he spent time with us talking about the design of our cake. The final product was even more incredible than we thought! Our cake not only looked beautiful, but was so delicious. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a cake. Thanks to Martine and the House of Clarendon staff!

THE MAN IS A TOTAL LIAR AND COMPLETE THIEF. I wouldn’t feed my dog a single slice.

y are his cakes DELICIOUS and beautiful works of art, Martine gives the best wedding advice and tips...which makes sense since he is also a Wedding Planner and owns Dream Weddings magazine!)! I have never liked cake since I was little and will never eat it no matter where I am at (birthday party, wedding, etc.), so our cake was more for my husband. At our cake tasting I cleaned my plate of every piece of cake because it was that good!

y favorite dessert! It was our big splurge purchase for the day, and Martine was willing to work with us to develop a beautiful cake that didn't COMPLETELY destroy our budget. We booked the cake even before I ordered my dress! Don't get me wrong - this is a boutique cakery, and the prices are very high - but there is a good reason for it, and I can promise that it is worth it! The House of Clarendon honestly has some of the best cake I've ever eaten, and we do not regret the splurge one bit. The cake was gorgeous to look at, moist, and flavorful on the day of the wedding. Many of our guests said that it was one of their favorite wedding cakes they had ever eaten. Thank you, Martine, and the House of Clarendon team, for fulfilling one of my biggest wedding dreams! We are so glad to have been able to make it work for our big day.

kes that I liked. He made our cake look like our wedding invitations but best of all, IT TASTED SO GOOD. We had leftover cake that we ate for a week afterwards that was so so so good. Above and beyond expectations.

ago. Let me tell you, we were so happy with the way it turned out. We wanted a specific color blue for our cake, to match our wedding theme colors, and the bakery had us mail in a color swatch so they could get as close to the color as possible. It was even better than we envisioned and the colors matched perfectly. If your looking for a bakery to handle your wedding cake, hire Martine! Martine is the real deal! Beautiful Work! Thank you again House of Clarendon!

ed. He is very professional, creative and knowledgeable about the wedding industry. We appreciated his advice along the way. We received so many compliments on how delicious the cake was! Hands down, the best cake we have ever had at a wedding. We will definitely be using him again for any other cake/dessert needs!

and tasty the cake was. We had ABSOLUTELY NONE LEFT! That is a compliment in itself. Go no further than Martine + the House of Clarendon team. An absolute dream!

ayers of real flowers between the cake layers - which Martine even adjusted on-site with our florist's help to be sure it looked perfect. Our cake was stunning and delicious and we couldn't have asked for more. Best of all - on our first anniversary we can look forward to a fresh "cake topper" as a bonus for buying our cake from House of Clarendon. I already can't wait!

Martine Cajas is an incredible "cake artist". He is funny, professional, and a delight to work with. Our cake contained a vintage topper, flower adornments, and sparkly fondant. It was a masterpiece to behold and was remarkably delicious. Their prices are also extremely affordable and they work with many budgets. I was amazed. I rate them the highest and recommend to anyone.

ork with you to get the cake of your dreams within your budget. House of Clarendon also did cookie favors for our guests and they also came out amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Martine and House of Clarendon to any couple for their wedding!

ED it. The presentation was perfect and it truly was a beautiful cake. Can't wait to get our anniversary cake in a year!

ts raved about how delicious the different flavors were! We'd highly recommend House of Clarendon for your wedding cake needs & we can't wait for our one year included "anniversary" cake! :)

d in contact to make sure our cake was everything we wanted and more. If/when any problems arose, we were notified immediately to find a solution.

ne is AMAZING!! Not only did he draw up a custom cake from our wedding inventation he also suggested ways we could make our wedding better and not just a cheesy afair. He made us feel comfortable and the cakes we try'd were amazing. We're getting married in July of 2017 and i can't wait to see our beautiful cake. On a side note because i know my fiancee will read this i call Martine on a seprate occasion and set up a surprise grooms cake for my fiancee. He's a hunter and i wanted something that would reflect that completely. Martine worked with me and we came up with a great idea that i know he's going to love and so will the other hunter's coming to our wedding!!

that most of the cakes were dry and bland. But, not the House of Clarendon's cake! House of Clarendon's cake was moist and delicious, not to mention gorgeous! I knew that I wanted them to bake my wedding cake. Luckily, they were still available for my wedding date. I scheduled a tasting, and worked with Martine to design my cake. Many of their cakes are quite elaborate in design, and I wanted something much more simple. Martine worked with me to design something that was simple in design, but still beautiful. The finished cake looked wonderful, and tasted just as delicious!

k of art. Martine was so great with planning our cake. When what I had originally wanted as part of the design didn't come out the way we wanted, he had another idea that looked even better!! We also had a layer of fresh flowers to make the cake appear taller, which was a great idea of his. He also includes a top layer on your anniversary so that you get fresh cakes. I had such a great time planning with Martine and our cake was a beautiful centerpiece to our wedding. I would recommend to anyone!!!

ovides a free anniversary cake, so no need to freeze!

t what you pay for! My Husband and I sat down with him and watched him design the wedding cake of my dreams on paper. I was thrilled to see how beautiful it was on my wedding day!

o if you are on a tight budget. That being said, the reason the prices are high is because each cake is a work of art. Martine is an artist and takes extreme pride in his work. The cakes are absolutely gorgeous. Martine is wonderful to work with. He is very charismatic and can offer incredible suggestions. He is knowledgeable and prompt at getting back to you. The cake was a hit at the wedding. Everyone commented on how beautiful it was and it tasted great too. It was not your average boring, dry wedding cake. We didn't have any left because so many people went back for seconds. I am glad I got my cake here and would recommend it to others.

his cake, it was a done deal! W worked together to create the designs for the bridal cake and the groom's cake. We were looking for as stunning cake and that is absolutely what Martine created. We used House of Clarendon for cupcakes for both of the bridal showers and were thrilled with the results. We found Martine to be professional, responsive and creative in the extreme. He was free with great advice every step along the way. I can recommend House of Clarendon enthusiastically!!

g. He created a beautiful cake that was scrumptious as well. We had guests that raved about the cake and tried each flavor. I can't wait for our anniversary cake that Martine provides just because he feels cakes are best when they're fresh. He has great work ethics and truly wants the best for his customers. It was a joy working with him.

showed Martine everything we already had as part of our wedding and our cake ideas, and he came up with a gorgeous design. The samples for tasting were excellent, and you can even have each layer be a different flavor. Best of all, you get to take any leftover cake home with you. By the end of our meeting, we had signed on the dotted line. The cakes looked perfect and tasted great, and our guests loved that there were different flavors, since if they didn't like the flavor they were originally given, they could switch with someone at their table. A couple of my bridesmaids asked for some of our leftover cake to take home with them. The leftovers held up very well, too. We can't wait to get our anniversary cake from them. The cakes are a little expensive, but they are the perfect combination of looks and taste, so we did not regret it for one minute. Martine is also very helpful if you're not sure about other wedding vendors, since he runs Dream Weddings PA. One thing about this listing is that HoC did change locations, and I think even the contract has the old address, so if you book, when you go to send the final payment, double-check that you're mailing it to the correct place!

best, but they were not as expensive as what I was expecting. They were organized, willing to make changes I asked for, and very helpful in the planning process.
