Located in Ventura, CA, House of Dance offers dance lessons for weddings and other special occasions. More than 500 couples have come through the studio’s doors since its founding more than 21 years ago and left able to dazzle their guests. The experienced instructors invite you and your partner to get in touch and learn the techniques and combinations for your first dance as newlyweds.
House of Dance provides a fun and friendly environment in which you can master and perfect your wedding set, no matter your experience level. The space is equipped with a 3,200-square-foot oak floating floor where you will be taught to glide with grace and ease. This elegant ballroom can even be rented for events such as wedding receptions and quinceaneras.
House of Dance offers nuptials packages that can be customized for you and your partner, you and your parents, or your entire wedding party. Classes include traditional waltzes as well as more unusual choreography. Whether you want to impress with the Cha Cha or Foxtrot, Argentine Tango or Salsa, these teachers have you covered. They will guide you through every step and ensure you feel comfortable and confident on the dance floor.

d never be able to DIY the dance moves with help from YouTube, so I made a few calls and then had a meeting with Patricia, who said she could whip something up for us. Patricia has an energetic yet patient and calm demeanor, and we made a lot of headway into the choreography after our very first lesson. We practiced multiple times a week in our apartment and later at the gym when we incorporated more movement into the dance. We were ready for the spotlight by the end of our fourth lesson, and our performance at the wedding was flawless. I only regret that I forgot to tell someone to get it on video!
Patricia is great!!! She got us ready for our first dance which was a challenger to her. We had a lot of fun while doing it too!
