Howl2GO Dueling Pianos, by Howl at the Moon is a wedding band in Chicago, IL. This eclectic musical team offers couples and their guests a fun-filled, interactive performance during their cocktail hours and receptions. You will be free to customize their services to match your desired ambience, from their set lists to their featured instruments.
Operating since 1990, Howl at the Moon has been providing high-energy music and vocals to events throughout the nation. With dueling pianos, guests can experience two skilled pianists playing any choice of genres throughout the couple’s big day. Their full band features drums, guitars, saxophones, and other instruments that can have your friends and family on the dance floor all night.
The band will arrive at your venue with two electric baby grand pianos, and high-quality sound and lighting system. As a family-friendly band, Howl2GO Dueling Pianos, by Howl at the Moon, can easily entertain guests of all ages, performing covers with clean, radio-friendly lyrics. During your planning process, you can work with their in-house wedding specialist to finalize your schedule, announcements, and music cues. ummer, and every single musician was impeccable. They played for three hours straight without taking a break and kept the energy high the entire time. Every guest was on the dance floor for the whole night, and Howl made sure to play a wide variety of music that everyone knew and loved. On top of the incredible live performance, they also ensured the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner flowed seamlessly. I would highly recommend Howl 2 Go for any wedding!

My husband and I personally had the best time, but beyond us, almost every one of our guests have approached us to raved about the band's performance and how they kept the dance floor was packed all night!
I also was completely blown away when the band played "Taki Taki" live. It was on our must play list and I was completely expecting them to play the recorded track and the fact that they learned that track for our wedding is just above and beyond. It made my night!
I’d recommend HOWL2GO to any couple planning a wedding or anyone planning an event where you want the dance floor full from beginning to end.

Jordan was super professional and easy to work with. We had trouble with a lot of wedding vendors, and I can honestly say that this band was 1 of 2 that didn't give me any headaches or trouble. They helped edit music, let us customize every aspect of our night, and were just so much fun.
We hired an additional drummer and guitarist. They brought lighting and provided anything that was needed.
I highly recommend hiring Howl 2 Go for your wedding!

Emily, the coordinator made the process smooth and never left us with any questions. She was efficient, friendly, and organized. Even with a few bumps along the planning process, because of the venue, Emily and Wes made everything we envisioned possible.
The band was amazing, and when I say amazing I mean out of this world. Brian and the guys were professional, full of energy, and the dance floor was never empty! lar to a DJ. Howl is the perfect group to do this as their artists can play any genre, and even more importantly read the room to get the guests involved on the dance floor.
Our Howl artists absolutely crushed their performance, at no point in the night were people not out on the dancefloor. At one point in the night, Kate and I got up on the stage with the players and jammed out with them tambourine and cowbell style.
The lead-up to the event was pleasant and painless, all we had to do was provide general info about our guest demographics, the vibe we were going for, a couple of key songs and they took care of the rest.
Hiring Howl for our wedding was top 5 one of the best decisions of the day. Period.

The entire band was AMAZING and did such a great job interacting with the audience. Jordan was a great MC and performer. Howl 2 Go also did a great job mixing our pre-recorded music for us for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Our guests were dancing the entire night, and we had such a blast dancing to our favorite songs and requests. If you want a wedding where ALL of your guests are dancing, you will not regret using Howl 2 Go. It was arguably one of our favorite parts of the entire wedding!

all our music for our wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, MC, recorded music during dinner, and reception entertainment. The planning process was super smooth- Emily did a great job keeping in touch with us and taking care of all the logistics. They brought all their own sound, lighting, staging, and music equipment and even brought separate equipment for the ceremony and reception (in two separate places) to avoid having to move things and set up again during cocktail hour. They also provided all the sound/ mics for our officiant and our speeches during dinner. The show was SPECTACULAR and many guests told us that they'd be using Howl 2 Go for their next events. Our biggest piece of advice is to upgrade to the 4 piece band- that way the musicians can switch instruments throughout the evening. We had a variety of pianos+drums+guitar in addition to trumpet, electric fiddle, and keytar. One of our band members is a sound engineer and he was able to modify some of the recorded songs we requested throughout the evening to make sure that the first dances didn't stretch on too long. Almost all 220 of our guests stayed to the very end of the night to watch the band. Howl really knows how to command a room and put on a show!

Emily was an excellent administrator, answering all questions and addressing concerns along the way - excellent customer service. Fast forward to the day of. I could not be more pleased with the quality, talent and sheer entertainment that the musicians delivered - they were phenomenal. Countless guests (including several "music snobs") came to tell me during and after the reception just how impressed they were start to finish. If you're considering live music in Boston and do not want to pay $10,000 for a 7 piece band, choose Howl2Go (I had an extra guitar and drums which made a huge difference). You will not regret your decision, I promise.

and scheduled phone calls with us to make sure everything was coordinated perfectly and were so helpful in answering all of our questions and accommodating last minute changes/requests. They created a google doc where we could see all of the details and make any changes needed. They even took the time to go through everyone's names and make sure they had the right pronunciation for announcements, etc. Our wedding was in Ellicottville, NY and they drove 3 hours from Pittsburgh, PA to play at our reception, so even if there is not a Howl at the Moon nearby, it's worth looking into whether they're available for your wedding. We booked the two pianos, drummer, and guitar player, and were so glad we did! At our reception, the dance floor was packed from start to finish, and all of our guests--young and old--danced the entire night! Several of our guests told us that it was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding, and we have Howl2Go to thank for that! On top of everything, they are incredibly reasonably priced. Truly the best decision ever!

However when it came time for my reception, there must have been some miscommunication with the band about the timeline and things got messed up. I had not ever spoken to or emailed anyone in the band so if they had questions, I was never alerted. Then the songs that I had requested to not be played, were played. So after all of that, I cannot give 5 stars but I will say this is one unique experience for guests and my guests seemed to have a great time! I would still recommend them to anyone.

If I needed to change anything leading up to the wedding day, I could go on the google doc that was set up by the coordinator, and make additions/subtractions that we could personalize our day with (even if the first dance song changed 8 times!) Changes to song choices and order could even be made as late as the day of! The band was vibrant and my family and guests enjoyed the live band experience. They did a great job playing during dinner and then kept the party going all night long. The dance floor was packed all night long. At the end of the night many guests said they hoped dueling pianos would become the next wedding trend because they enjoyed them so much...and I hope that becomes true! Howl2Go was by far the most organized vendor that I worked with during the wedding process. They made sure the evening went as we wanted and thought of things we wouldn't have. ow great Howl2GO was! Our guests couldn't stop dancing the whole night. I loved how Howl2GO helped keep the party going all night and they annouced the garter toss, first dances, cake cutting etc. We had a blast!! It was definitly worth the investment !!

ersonality was flawless in keeping the wedding details moving. From announcing cocktail hour, to dinner, speeches and games and more. We loved working with her and their show made the reception amazing.
On a special note Emily worked with our friend who played the tenor sax for our processional. Holy smokes it was amazing. She handled all communication with him leading up to the ceremony. Emily also played our first dance song and rehearsed with our minister who sang it. Those two pieces were custom requests and it was the best choice to hire Howl 2 Go.

onal and even reached out to all of my other vendors to coordinate everything so I didn't have to act as a middle man. I got so many compliments from my guests afterwards about the band, and all of my guests literally danced all night! Loved them!
