or our meeting and lunch. The venue was spotless with a comfortable, welcoming ambiance. Carrie is extremely helpful and is truly interested in making sure your event is special. If you want to step back to a simpler time, this quaint, lovingly restored church/reception hall is ideal.

I had my wedding at Hubbard Chapel in Hubbard, Oregon. I live in Texas and planned everything from afar, so I went with Hubbard Chapel for my venue after having my sister visit. It...

is definitely smaller than they indicated (although they do not offer any sort of floor plan). I asked how many people the reception hall would comfortably hold for a buffet dinner, and I was told 150. Turns out, this is the fire code maximum, and we were crowded with a little over 100 people. The chapel is charming, but the reception hall and areas of the outside are somewhat shabby. The wedding coordinator was pretty responsive, but the cleaning lady accused my mother-in-law of stealing the dishes (that we provided) and showed up an hour before we were scheduled to be done cleaning up and tried to hurry everyone out. Overall, it was ok, as I am a laid back bride who comes from a DIY thrifty family, but if you like everything just so, I wouldn't recommend Hubbard Chapel.
