We hired the Horns Horns DJ // Sounds Buono for our wedding last August and can honestly say it was the highlight of our wedding. Joe completely understood the vibe we wanted for both our cocktail party and the dancing -- the opposite of corny!! It was a full dance floor all night, just total perfection. People still talk to us about how fun the horns and DJ combination was; we got all of the best songs but with the live music feel. 10/10 recommend. Wish we could get married again.

We worked with Hudson Horns (+ DJ Sounds Buono) for our wedding in September, and cannot recommend them enough! Our dance floor was PACKED all night long--our photographer and planner couldn't believe how much energy our guests had and I fully, fully credit Hudson Horns and Sounds Buono for the incredible energy. We knew that having live music at our wedding was something we had to have, and no regular band would do. The vibe that Hudson Horns brings is lively, jazzy, and infectious. They covered every part of our special day, from ceremony to reception. Our third custom pick was already a jazzy pop song, and you could tell the musicians were having fun putting their own spin on it. They really brought the energy and got everyone dancing the night away. People just couldn’t stop telling us how impressed they were with the band. Communication and planning with Rachel was professional and timely, and the team was willing to entertain ideas about how to execute on the night. These words will likely not be enough to capture our appreciation and respect for the whole team, but I will try! Let me start by saying that as a longtime musician myself, the band was THE most important aspect to nail for our big day. There are a TON of wedding bands out there and we searched hard for about 3 months…It was a painful process, but nothing compared to the individualized and original sound that HH had. They had a unique, tailored, and original sound that most wedding bands did not. For someone who plays music, it was important to find a team of musicians that felt like they weren’t just playing the same old standard wedding song, but rather adding their twist to it and, not to mention, throwing a killer party while doing it. Hudson Horns took this to a whole new level.  We had the pleasure of having the Legends for our wedding on 11/16, and they wildly exceeded our expectations. First, the entire team, including the band members, are an absolute joy to work with. From day one, Rachel answered all of our questions and never made us feel like we were a bother. She understood our budget, vision, and taste in music and worked with us to customize the band the way we wanted. Even when we hit a minor speed bump a week leading up to our day where the guitarist (who I specifically requested on day one) couldn’t make it…Rachel and her team came ready with a new solution, allowing us to be free from any stress in that moment. The owner of the band, Jake, even sent us a personalized message apologizing but reassuring us that our night would be incredible…and he was right.   From the second the band started playing on our wedding night, the guests were already raving. And by “started playing,” I mean the cocktail hour trio…That was the first time our guests got a small taste of what they were yet to bring and we got so many compliments just on that alone. They even threw in some classic rap arrangements into the trio which put a smile on people's faces! Then the actual dance sets started….This is when the compliments came flooding in. “This is the best band I've ever heard.” “Do they have a manager?” “This is a live band?!?” - The reviews raved throughout the entire night while also leaving the dance floor absolutely packed and filled with high energy. Not only did they play in their own unique sound like I mentioned above, but they covered a range of genres, including classic, pop, emo, and classic rock, before bringing it all home with some Frank Sinatra and seamlessly transitioning between them in fun and interesting ways. The singers and horns even got out into our crowd, making the experience even more special.  To put it simply, Hudson Horns is an incredible powerhouse of talented and passionate musicians, business leaders, and tech wizards who together know how to craft a one-of-a-kind experience that is both memorable and exciting. They go against the grain in an industry that seemingly feels flooded with cookie-cuter experiences. They didn’t feel like vendors to us, but rather guests and now long time friends. Words cannot describe how incredible the musicians of Hudson Horns are! They are truly talented artists who fill the room with positive energy and love. They bring the party to life, skillfully blending music genres to get guests of all ages dancing. From the moment we saw their incredibly hype videos on their Instagram page, we knew we had to have the Hudson Horns at our wedding. AND WE'RE SO GLAD WE DID!!!! The Horns ABSOLUTELY KILLED IT!!!! From giving us a grand entrance into our reception, to floating around the dance floor and creating vibes with them everywhere they went – they kept our guests on the dance floor ALL NIGHT. We are so grateful we were able to book Hudson Horns for our wedding day!! We had the 4 piece band play alongside our DJ at the Wythe hotel in Williamsburg, and they were truly incredible. Rachel, the booking manager, makes the entire planning process so easy and smooth, and was happy to jump on a call with us to discuss some of our ideas. They kicked things off by entering through the courtyard playing an acoustic version of 'Crazy In Love' to lead our guests into our reception hall, then played along with our incredible DJ for the dance sets. Absolutely UNREAL experience with Hudson Horns (SB HH combo!!!). The team brought so much energy to our dance floor and absolutely crushed it. We had so much fun dancing with the musicians - they all have such electric and engaging personalities and know how to vibe with the crowd. The Hudson Horns are a absolute 'must have' at your wedding. We had the 4 musician team come to supplement our DJ and they absolutely brought the dance floor to life. They brought so much energy and had no trouble playing alongside any song on our setlist. HH Legends was amazing - hands down. We had very high expectations based on their YouTube and Instagram clips, but they easily exceeded them. Our guests were on the dance floor all night, telling us how this was the best wedding band they’d ever seen, and some even asked if they played shows for the public! To that point - we have to emphasize HH Legends isn’t “just” a wedding band, they put together one of the best live shows we’ve seen in a long time (and it just so happened to be at our wedding!). They did an amazing job of curating an amazing set list, involving the audience (and of course the happy couple) multiple times for a high energy show. We’d heard of couples moving their wedding days to make sure they could get Hudson Horns, and we now know why! The whole team is very easy and helpful to work with from start to finish, and the brass parade was the perfect kick-off into a high energy reception. We can’t recommend HH Legends enough!

HH was seriously the COOLEST. I was so excited to have them and they met all expectations. Guests loved them and they got everyone up and moving. I highly recommend booking them. I booked just the horns with Joe from Sounds Buono. Together they mixed horns, beats, musics and drums. It was AWESOME

We had Hudson Horns perform at our wedding with Sounds Buono (Joe Buono - DJ) and they were INCREDIBLE! Rachel was awesome to work with to coordinate all the logistics, and the band was incredible. From cocktail hour tunes to the second line from dinner to dancing, to bringing the energy on the dance floor, I absolutely recommend HHDJ! We were torn between HHDJ and a classic wedding band, and we are so glad we went with HHDJ - it was unique and so much fun, and allowed us to have such a wide variety of music on the dance floor. Hudson Horns was absolutely incredible and were the perfect addition to my wedding this summer. They were able to accommodate the song requests we made, and just brought an incredible energy for the wedding ceremony, our hora, and the reception itself. During and after the wedding, we had multiple of our friends (and our parents' friends) compliment us on how great HH was, and even had one friend ask us for their information for their own wedding! The performers brought amazing energy and seemed to genuinely be having a great time, which helped all of our guests have a great time. This is a review for the Hudson Horns collective band who performed at our wedding last July. We feel deeply appreciative and extremely lucky to have had this band on our special day. I know nearly everyone writes positive reviews of their wedding band but Hudson Horns is truly the GREATEST, and if you don’t believe me you can see for yourself live at their live shows or just watch their videos online- they are truly special. Their chemistry with each other is undeniable and you just don’t find it with other bands. We first saw them perform live almost a decade ago at Radegast Brooklyn and it stuck in our minds when we were planning our wedding. We even moved the date of the wedding to make sure we had this band- they are that good. It was the best decision- Hands down they were the biggest highlight of our special day. They learned so many songs for us and performed them better than the originals: from Mariah Carey to Rage Against the Machine to Avett Brothers, etc. plus all the classics you would normally expect. They brought the house down with RATM. Words can’t express how appreciative we are of Jake and his team. They are brimming with talent (each and every member), professional, overly accommodating, and it’s been over a year and our friends still rave about this band! Book them asap if you can! we can’t wait to see them live again soon.

Having heard a few of Hudson Horns performances at other weddings, booking them was our number one priority for our wedding. We planned our wedding date around their availability and it was the best decision we made! We went with the HH Hybrid setup in which they play with a DJ we selected (Sounds Buono, who often works with these folks). The setup and sound integration of brass/drums to DJ tracks was fantastic, and the group of players were profession and skilled at their instruments. They were all lovely people and I would certainly recommend them!

The Hudson Horns were beyond incredible! They kept our dance floor packed the entire wedding. They sounded amazing from start to finish, and kept the energy up interacting with the crowd, dancing on stage and on the dance floor. We hired Hudson Horns Strings and Hudson Horns for our wedding and they were fantastic! The string quartet played for our ceremony and cocktail hour and did a mix of classical and pop and it was so fun! The brass ensemble was also incredible. All the musicians were so friendly and relaxed but also professional. We requested them to play a specific New Orleans Mardi Gras brass song and they were fantastic. They also kept the party going the whole night and our guests loved them! I would highly recommend Hudson Horns for a fun immersive musical experience!

The Hudson Horn’s team including each and every band member, Rachel and many more individuals behind the scenes are TRULY incredible. Where do we start?? We had the HH Legends perform for our wedding in NYC last weekend and they were UNREAL!! All of the performers were SO talented, professional, high-energy and fantastic. Truly the best live music/entertainment we could have asked for. Our guests were raving about them all night! (This was a super hard decision for us to make because my husband is in the music industry and we wanted to make sure everything was perfect, and they did NOT disappoint.) My MIL said she's never seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding at once. To make it even better, the band learned a new song so that MY DAD could sing/perform for us as a sweet surprise after his toast. Was such a special moment and the band made it happen. Will remember it forever. Rachel and the team were SO great about communicating with us, the venue, the production team, our planner, etc. So organized and on top of everything. Also so great about making sure our performer and song preferences were met/heard. Could not reco Hudson Horns enough! Made our wedding SO fun and one to remember for a lifetime. Saying Hudson Horns is a wedding band does this group an injustice -- they are a wedding EXPERIENCE! They elevated everything about our wedding, from the incredible funk trio during cocktail hour, to a second line parade to our reception, to the party itself. Every single person who spoke to me at the wedding said that Legends was the greatest wedding band they had ever heard. They absolutely CRUSHED. The vocalists were insane. The sax player was ripping it all night. I personally have never seen a wedding where almost every single person spent the majority of the night on the dance floor. They never backed down and the night ended in crescendo. We were floored, and more so, moved by their commitment to making it such an incredible performance. We will continue to spread the good word on Legends to anyone who needs!

We couldn’t imagine our day without Hudson Horns. They kept the energy high from the beginning of cocktail hour all the way through the encore song at the end of the night. We had the Hudson Horn Legends at our wedding in September and our friends and family are still raving about them! The band was absolutely incredible! Everyone was asking us about them! They really made the night! From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception everything was perfect! We had 3 musicians from Hudson Horns play along to the music played by our DJ... it was truly the best of both worlds! We were able to play all the music we wanted across a very wide genre by our DJ, and still have the element of live music from Hudson Horns to keep the crowd engaged and dancing. It was unforgettable and we could not recommend Hudson Horns enough!

When my husband and I got engaged, one of the first vendors we found was Hudson Horns and we knew immediately that we HAD to have them at our wedding! We went with the HHDJ option with Sounds Buono, and it was the best thing we did at our wedding. We had high expectations and they far exceeded them. We had so many guests coming up to us raving about how good they were. From the entrance parade to the dance floor, they kept the vibes high the entire night and added a unique, fun element to our wedding. Planning with Rachel ahead of time was also seamless, and she was extremely responsive, answering any questions we had. We could not have asked for a better experience with the Horns and would recommend them to anybody!

We can’t say how much we appreciate HH legends hard work and amazing entertainment. Everybody thought the band sounded epic and the dance floor was packed. We appreciate the musicians stretching their playlist for us, it really came together just like we’d envisioned. HH doesn’t do a karaoke version of music: they have their own incredible take on every song. Their jazz trio during the cocktail hour was also a highlight. If you are planning your wedding you cannot go wrong with this group!!!

Hudson Horns were the engine for the party - the bee’s knees, the cat’s pajamas. They created the most electric dance floor at a wedding we had ever seen. The energy was contageous and undeniable. From the moment they orchestrated a second line from the ceremony to the reception, there was magic in the air. Our iteration of the Horns augmented our hired DJ, who they met moments before the show started, but it was it was as if they had been playing together for a decade. The group seamlessly plugged and played on our backyard dance floor on top of Outkast, Daft Punk, the Commodores and everything in between. What makes the Horns different than any old brass band is they flood the dance floor with energy - dancing, limboing, and shouting next to you and your guests. The wedding guests, us included, were blown away. We couldn’t recommend them more.

There is no area where Hudson Horns is not a perfect wedding band in every way. Planning, coordination, skill, flair, uniqueness, you name it. We have had so many people compliment their performance at our wedding since our day that it's becoming a running joke at this point.

Having been referred to Hudson Horns by a few of our music teacher friends, we immediately had them at the top of our list. We scoured their website, Instagram, and YouTube for any videos we could find. From top to bottom, every performer was a phenomenal musician in every setting!! Having booked the group, we made our way to NYC to see them live, and boy did we have the best time experiencing their range from jazz standards to Beyonce and Nelly. Rachel was a pleasure to work with, was very responsive, and helped us plan the order of events for the reception to maximize our time with the band. The night of the event was magical. We started seeing the performers come in, set up, and then BAM, get into their fabulous outfits!! Hudson Horns was not just a vendor, they were a PART of our special day, and they MADE the dance floor fire. We had a beautiful ceremony with a solo pianist who played everything we wanted. The combo for cocktail hour was exciting to start livening up the mood while remaining somewhat in the background. Then the top came off and our introduction was an absolute BLAST! Kamal got up on that floor on multiple occasions to 'WOW' our friends and family. The band could have stolen the show, but they did just enough to get everybody excited and moving while still allowing us to feel special. I cannot express enough how much I love this band. They are truly special, and we will cherish every opportunity we get to see them in the future. Do NOT pass on your chance to have them at your event.

If you want to have the most fun party of all time, hire Hudson Horns. They were extremely organized, professional, and knowledgable throughout the entire process, including giving me recommendations for how to best time and pace the evening. We hired HHDJ to keep the party going during set breaks, which was a highlight of the whole night. I cannot recommend them enough!

We first heard the Hudson Horns play at a beer hall in Brooklyn back in 2017. When we got engaged years later, we knew we needed them to play at our wedding! The energy they bring into the room is unmatched by any other band or DJ. HH Legends learned a handful of signature songs for us to make our night even more special. Their funk trio during cocktail hour set the tone for our evening perfectly and they played two sets during our reception that kept our guests dancing all night long. We can't recommend them highly enough!

We hired HH to do our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and they delivered for all three events beyond our incredibly high expectations. Their talent and fun energy really blew us and all our guests away. Leading up to the event, Rachel (the HH manager) was a joy to work with: she was extremely organized, communicative, and kind.
