nal they were. Coordinating with Rachel on the contract and logistics was seamless and genuinely enjoyable.
First, they sound absolutely incredible. We kept turning to each other throughout the night commenting on how amazing they were, and that feeling was only reinforced when we watched guests’ videos and our professional footage back. We were also repeatedly approached by guests during the wedding and months after raving about how great the band was. We truly couldn’t have asked for better!
Second, we had a special request for the band to play a Turkish folk song over the speakers for our parents. Not only did they do that, but they went above and beyond by learning an instrumental section and continuing to play live after the recording ended. Their version was even better than the original and showed just how invested they were in making our night unforgettable. The entire room was dancing to a song most people had never heard before, purely because of their incredible musicianship and energy. It was such an unexpected and delightful surprise.
Lastly, they kept the energy high all night long. The dance floor was never empty—not even for a moment. The band consistently interacted with our guests, and their engagement felt so natural and confident. Hudson Horns’ talent, presence, professionalism, and energy made the celebration truly extraordinary.

The band themselves were incredibly talented and over delivered! The dance floor was full the ENTIRE night and so high energy. I knew they would be great at their set list and they even killed the 3 songs we asked them to add. When making the decision to choose a band over a DJ my only concern was that a band may not have enough range to successfully execute multiple genres (pop, hip hop, oldies, alternative rock, etc). HH EXCEEDED my expectations on this. Not only did they sound amazing singing every genre, but they planned the timing of the set list so well to match the energy and progression of the night.
Also, our guests' experience and reaction to the band was incredible. We included a parade into the venue which was such a highlight that guests are still talking about. One of our guests came up to tell us that they always prefer a DJ but that our band was their major exception.
Absolutely 100% recommend Hudson Horns to anyone considering!

We went with HH Collective because we really wanted a procession and live dinner music, and wouldn't have done it any other way. The procession was an absolute dream, and the music throughout the reception was exceptional. They are top-notch musicians with a highly versatile range. People are still talking about HH being a highlight of the wedding.
A small example: one of our 3 requested songs for them to learn/play was Burning Up from the Jonas Brothers, and they mashed it with Everybody Dance Now, a mashup we did not know we needed in our lives!!!!
They also made speeches and transitions seamless.

Rachel is a top-notch, reliable communicator. She was on top of everything, incredibly detail-oriented, and seemed to anticipate every question before we even thought to ask it. That kind of partnership in the lead-up made all the difference!
Then the day itself. The entire team absolutely blew everyone away! Their performance presence is so charismatic and charming, they are wildly talented, and they showed up polished, well-dressed, and professional from start to finish. They covered our ceremony with strings, cocktail hour, our unforgettable grand entrance, and the entire reception. Every single transition felt seamless.
As a bride, I could not have asked for more. It's clear their behind-the-scenes execution is stellar, because there was not one slip the entire night. Guests are still talking about them. If you're considering Hudson Horns for your wedding, book them!

walk out of the ceremony was so much fun! The only negative was that their timeline didn’t quite match up with our larger timeline, meaning they took breaks during times when I wish they didn’t (like during our parent/daughter dances). I wish they were a bit more flexible with their timeline to fit with the larger order of all of our vendors. Or, since we had a 12 piece band, I wish they left a few members up at all times and took staggered breaks instead of all leaving at once. However, overall, our guests thought they were incredible and we loved the show they gave!

The opportunity for us to choose our favorites from HH Legends’ long repertoire of songs was much appreciated, and led to a perfectly curated dance floor playlist that was reflective of our favorite music. The band was so amazing at performing, several of our guests mentioned they felt like they were at a concert they had paid to see! Both during & after the wedding, many guests also mentioned it was the best wedding band they had ever seen, and we of course agree! Initially, I was considering asking the band to play our wedding song from an iPad rather than perform it, because we love the artist who originally sings it, but we ultimately decided to have the band sing it instead, and I am so glad we did. The singer added depth and vibrancy to the song that would not have been present on a recording…dare I say, his version might have been better than the original! I also can’t say enough about how great Rachel was at communication and logistics leading up to the big day, both with me and my wedding coordinator. Hudson Horns are true professionals at the top of their game, and I truly recommend them for anyone who wants to have an unforgettable dance floor on their big day!

on the planet who could’ve brought as much groove or fun or liveliness to our night other than the Hudson Horns. Every part exceeded our wildest dreams. It was all so perfectly balanced and curated for each part of our wedding— whether that was the acoustic moment for our ceremony OR the horns tearing it UP during cocktail hour and second lining us all the way to dinner OR the dinner band adding the perfect ambience to our seated dinner OR the full on PARTY during the reception. Every single part was spot ON! We know it was the Collective as whole, mixing and matching around for the different parts of the night, but seeing everyone ebb and flow and then come together during the reception was so special and electric! Wow—the Hudson Horns team ATE IT UP. Rachel worked with us to create a customized grouping of musicians for each part of our wedding. We had a string quartet for the guest arrival,...
ceremony, and cocktail hour. Then we transitioned to a custom four-piece band for dinner, and finally we closed out the evening with DJ Joe from Sounds Buono. The string quartet was perfect. They created a beautiful, classy vibe for guests to arrive to and for the ceremony, and then they kicked it up a notch with some upbeat jazz and pop for cocktail hour. They really set the tone for excellence.
Our dinner band, including vocalist Mike, was FANTASTIC—literally perfection. They matched the vibe PERFECTLY. Our guests were so obsessed that they got up out of their seats and created a dance floor before the dinner plates came out. It was magical.
And then DJ Joe just hit it home with banger after banger after banger. He really listened to what we wanted and executed it perfectly. Also he hit the dress code of creative black tie out of the park. He looked GREAT.
We're so grateful to Hudson Horns for their work and attention to detail. They were a highlight of our wedding!

When people came over to congratulate me on getting married, they also asked me about the band. Countless thank you letters spoke about the band. That is how amazing they were. Hudson Horns listened to all of our custom requests and suggestions and executed flawlessly. And they put together an outstanding set list. My friends said they felt like they were at Coachella. I was so happy with Hudson Horns that I made a fool of myself on stage, professing my love for them. But it was worth it. I could not recommend them more. Please hire them and then invite us so that we can see them again.

hard-hitting dance floor that was impossible for us to leave - it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we’ll never forget. All of our guests are saying that it was without question the best band they’ve seen perform at a wedding. We also asked the band to learn a love song that my late grandfather wrote for my grandmother (who was in attendance!) and there wasn’t a single dry eye in the house. It was a night full of pinch-me moments, and Hudson Horns was part of every single one. We’re jealous of all future couples who have a Hudson Horns experience to look forward to. As music enthusiasts and musicians (my husband, and a number of our guests) it was abundantly clear that we were in the presence of true talent. Thank you, thank you, thank you for one of the most memorable nights of our lives!

oth our cocktail party and the dancing -- the opposite of corny!! It was a full dance floor all night, just total perfection. People still talk to us about how fun the horns and DJ combination was; we got all of the best songs but with the live music feel. 10/10 recommend. Wish we could get married again.
