Jeremiah and Gus are absolutely amazing and so talented at what they do. We had a wonderful experience with them. They made the process so easy and the wedding day just felt so natural with them. We can’t stop looking at our wedding pics we are so in love!!

Where do I even begin... from the minute my husband and I met Jeremiah we instantly knew he would he the PERFECT photographer for our wedding (he was the only one I contacted!). He has such a calm, laid-back but very detail-oriented personality that meshed perfectly with what my husband and I wanted for our engagement shoot and wedding day. Our wedding reception had to be canceled due to the pandemic, but we still wanted to officially wed on our original wedding date with a micro-wedding. Jeremiah easily accommodated us when we moved our reception date and we chose to also have him shoot our micro-wedding. If you are looking for someone who will provide a sense of calmness on your wedding day, Jeremiah is your photographer! I trusted him to capture our most precious moments. The photographs from both our weddings were natural, beautiful and perfect reminders of what amazing day(s) we had (and our love for the beautiful Hudson Valley). I am just finally sitting down (almost a year later) to choose prints to frame and putting together our wedding album and it is certainly not easy to narrow down my choices. The photos are truly timeless and I will forever be grateful that I came across Hudson Picture Company.

Finding a great photographer was something extremely important to me, because I wanted someone to capture every single moment. .. and I did! Jeremiah & Chad went above and beyond for our special day. Jeremiah was amazing— from engagement pictures, to before our wedding and the day of. I don’t think I could’ve survived my wedding without him, because he really was there for EVERYTHING and made sure we got the pictures we wanted. We got a few pictures the day of our wedding and they are stunning. I knew it will take a bit of time to get our pictures back, but 2 weeks after our wedding, my husbands grandfather died and I asked Jeremiah for one picture from the wedding of us and his grandfather to show at his services & Jeremiah sent it without hesitation. Now that is amazing, he took time out of his day to edit the picture and send it to me within 2 hours of asking. We will always use Jeremiah for all of our photo needs!

As we started to plan our wedding, choosing our photographer was one of the most important decisions for us. We spent many hours searching for the right team and hands down we found them! Jeremiah was really fun to work with. From the first time we met for our engagement shoot, to the end of our wedding night, he always had us laughing and smiling and knew how to capture the moment just right. We had originally booked our wedding expecting Cody to be his second shooter, but Cody ended up being unavailable by the time our wedding took place. Jeremiah assured us he had it covered and brought in Chad who did an amazing job stepping in for the day. They like to keep it very relaxed so taking photos for an hour doesn't feel like a chore, but more like a fun and relaxing hour you get to spend as a couple doing something away from the crowd. Jeremiah has a great eye for some of the most unexpected but beautiful shots that make your wedding album stand out as more than your basic wedding photographer. He knows how to capture lighting beautifully and the angles he goes to (sometimes extreme) lengths to hit are so worth it and make for absolutely gorgeous photos. Even throughout the reception, any time we wanted a photo taken, they were always right there before we had to ask. We are so happy we decided to book Jeremiah for our wedding, he truly loves what he does and his talent is undeniable in the beautiful photos that you have of your wedding day!

Where to even begin. Jeremiah and Cody were absolutely amazing on our wedding day. They take the most beautiful photos and have the best personalities. We did an engagement shoot with Jeremiah and felt comfortable from start to finish. My husband was nervous at first, but after just a few minutes, Jeremiah had us smiling and laughing effortlessly. We met Cody on our wedding day and loved his positive sweet energy. These guys know how to take a beautiful picture. They lug around all of this heavy equipment and on top of that carries my veil for an hour and a half just so I could relax and enjoy the moment. I haven’t received my photos yet but the sneak peaks are to die for. They captured all the beautiful fall foliage in the background and I LOVE all the beautiful colors. I can’t wait to see the rest. If you’re searching for the perfect photographers for your big day or special occasion- you won’t be disappointed in these two! Book them !!

I am writing this review before seeing my completed set of photos because THAT is how much confidence I have in Jeremiah and Cody. We met Jeremiah based off of a recommendation from someone who had not used him and was upset she didn’t. She had told us that her brother had used him and when she compared her photos to his she was sad she had not found him before her wedding. We met him with a lineup of photographers to meet after and we were not even out of the parking lot after meeting him before we decided to cancel all other appointments and book him right then and there. Jeremiah is the kindest soul we have ever encountered— he is genuinely funny, warm and he listens to everything you say.. and remembers it nearly a year later when you meet with him again before the big day! His personality alone makes him a 10/10 to work with and then you see your photos. He airdropped us five photos before the end of the reception and .. wow.. there is no other word but WOW. He sees the wedding in a way you do not.. he catches the REALNESS of the wedding. The love, the way you look at one another- it all just flows with him and Cody. It brings tears to my eyes writing this because he truly makes sure you get to see yourself the way everyone else does. Cody will go above and beyond (literally SCALING hills and climbing through bushes) to ensure you get shots from different perspectives. They both are awesome and I truly wish we could hang out with them on the regular.. that’s how down to earth and fun they are. Please if you’re reading this and deciding to reach out to him just DO IT! You will not be disappointed and his talent is endless. We adore you Jeremiah and Cody and are so thankful that you were part of our day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything!

Jeremiah and his associate, Cody, were incredible assets and vendor partners on our wedding day. Jeremiah was beyond professional to coordinate with up until the wedding and on the big day, both Jeremiah and Cody were great with working with the other vendors to ensure they were in the right place at the right time to capture the most important moments. Jeremiah made the process of taking hours of photos genuinely fun and was responsive to our desire to spend as much time as possible enjoying the wedding with our friends and family. As a result, Jeremiah's photos captured candid joy and true happiness, and we are thrilled with the results (especially since he delivered several gorgeously edited photos to us from the day on the night of our wedding - what a nice touch!). You can absolutely count on Jeremiah to deliver amazing photos and be a pleasure to work with.

My husband and I spent hours stalking instagram looking for the perfect photographer for our special day. We narrowed it down to two choices however immediately upon meeting Jeremiah we were hooked. He has a unique way of blending nature into his photographs which resonated with us. We couldn't have been more pleased with Jeremiah and Cody on the day of our wedding. They were able to capture our wedding the way we always dreamed of. The photos are beautiful and we will cherish them forever. Jeremiah and Cody also helped put us at ease the day of our wedding and kept everything moving smoothly. We would 100% recommend him to anyone!!

I don't even know how to start my review on Jeremiah because I don't think there are any amount of words we could write out to truly understand just how amazing he and Cody were on our wedding day. From the moment we met Jeremiah we knew he was our guy. Both he and Cody are so easy going and right off the bat you could see how passionate they are about his job. They both know what they are doing, even when you feel the "shoot" is a little weird. The pictures speak for themselves. When you have a minute of down time, he busts out with the corny dad jokes that just makes you laugh. Those are the moments he captures and makes your heart full. Not many people can say they rolled around on a cramped hotel room bed ninja style to get the perfect "getting ready" photo. He went thru our long family list of pictures with ease and laughter. Most view their photographers as just there wedding photographers. We walked away with two friends. Love, The Leonards

I don't even know how to start my review on Jeremiah because I don't think there are any amount of words I could write out to you all to understand just how amazing he is. From the moment we meet Jeremiah I knew he was our guy, I don't know how to explain it. Our connection, How easy going he was and right off the bat you could see how passionate he is about his job. He made us feel so comfortable, he knew what he was talking about and gave us plenty of time to hear what we wanted. Our engagement shoot was perfect! I know some people don't like to take photos, smile or pose and that is my husband! Jeremiah knew how to make us laugh, relax, be comfortable and overcome how some times it's super awkward to have someone take your photos. I wanted to surprise my mother with photos at my deceased grandmothers home and Jeremiah had no issue with quickly meeting us for 10 minutes at a complete strangers home before our engagement shoot started. That right there is something I can never ever repay him for, to have pictures of my husband and I at a house where myself and our family grew up is so special and something not ever photographer is okay with adding on. Then our big day came and boy is Jeremiah is on top of his game from fixing ceremony decorations to coming in and helping us hang up bridesmaid dresses to just being there to make sure we are on schedule. He wanted a list before hand of every picture I wanted which is a life saver because half of the photos I probably would have never gotten if it wasn't for that list to remind us. He knows how to make people laugh and be more natural with your photos. Again my husband was so not looking forward to an hour of photos before cocktail hour but Jeremiah was patient and full of amazing ideas for our cool ceremony location. Ladies, your veil and your train are a lot to handle sometimes and both of mine were extremely long. I can't count how many times he was behind me helping me hold them up. I said oh I need to take this veil out and who to the rescue ? Jeremiah ! What photographer takes out your veil with no problem ? OURS DOES ! I text Jeremiah the day after the wedding because I just wanted to thank him one more time for not only being our photographer but I wanted him to know he is MUCH more then just the guy behind the camera. Our day would not have went so smoothly if we wouldn't have had Jeremiah and I'm so thankful I got referred to him because we not only will have amazing pictures for the rest of our lives but a dear friend. Jeremiah was the photographer for our New York wedding this past September. From the first meeting we had with him, we knew he was going to be awesome to work with. Jeremiah’s photography packages are very fairly priced, and a steal when you consider the caliber of his photography. From our first meeting, to the engagement shoot (free!), to our big day, he was always super helpful and made sure that things were going the way we wanted them to. On our wedding day Jeremiah and his assistant were very helpful and it felt like we were old friends. He was even able to Air Drop a few photos right to my phone before our reception even started! I cannot recommend his photography enough, use Jeremiah Shaffer for your wedding photography and you will not regret it!

Honestly, Jeremiah is the BEST!!! I really cannot say enough nice things about him. As a photographer his photos are stunning and as person his personality made being photographed feel completely natural and effortless. He went way above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our wedding day. During our reception he was ready to display a photo slideshow of our fist look and ceremony at our dj booth, something we were not expecting! He is an absolute professional and every interaction we had with Jeremiah was a pleasure. He went the extra mile with everything, even helping with a last-minute dress crisis! Choosing a photographer for your big day can be a daunting task; my husband and I were lucky enough to know Jeremiah personally during our search for wedding vendors, and after talking to him and looking at his work, we proceeded without hesitation! It was one of the easiest decisions we made. I remember on our big day I felt no rush, craziness or pushiness from Jeremiah, despite being behind schedule, and he worked seamlessly with our other vendors to capture moments I didn't even know happened! I still enjoy looking at our photos and feeling like I am re-experiencing it from another point of view. When I was in a bind last minute to find a makeup artist, Jeremiah saved the day and recommended someone who was a more than perfect fit! I've had endless compliments on his work and have already recommended several people to him who are now his future clients. My only regret is not getting any of the traditional portraits with family; Jeremiah's style captures candid moments beautifully, and his unobtrusive nature allowed us to enjoy more parts of our celebration, but if you have particular photos you know you want, I recommend making a list for yourself to provide him, since time can get away from you on the big day. I have no doubt he would accommodate and make sure you have everything you've dreamed of and more! He even had the decency to let me know after the wedding that we had overpaid him - because that's just the kind of down to Earth, honest family man he is. Thank you Jeremiah, for being more than a vendor, for being a friend, and for everything you did to make our big day so special!

Words can not express how wonderful it was to work with Jeremiah. We knew as soon as we met him that he would be the perfect photographer to capture the special moments of our big day...he did just that and so much more! Jeremiah always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our day. He was friendly and laid back with our bridal party and worked so well with our other vendors.
