Hudson Valley Ceremonies was a recommended vendor from our venue and they were FANTASTIC! Rev. Werner wrote a beautiful ceremony and incorporated both of our religions (Judaism and...
Catholicism) perfectly. He seamlessly explained the importance of each tradition to allow our guests to feel comfortable throughout. I could not be more thrilled to have had them perform our ceremony.
We worked with Stefanie from Hudson Valley Ceremony and had an absolutely amazing experience. From our first call months before our wedding, Stefanie made it clear that she would b...
e there for us up until and during our wedding day. Nothing ever felt like a crisis for more than a few hours with Stefanie on the case - when our venue was sold to new owners and we had to find a new hotel, when we had to navigate getting a liquor license, and when we were planning our wedding from across the country, Stefanie gave us quick responses and regular updates to make sure we felt calm and comfortable. She asked thoughtful questions about things we honestly wouldn't have thought about and gave advice when we had no idea how to answer them. She organized all of our independent vendors and everything went super smoothly on our wedding day (and if it didn't - we had no idea!) We were able to truly relax and enjoy a perfect wedding day knowing the whole time that Stefanie had our backs. Anyone who gets to work with her is so, so lucky!
Hudson Valley Ceremony’s and Weddings are the perfect vendor for wedding planning. We worked with Sandra O’Connell who was absolutely fantastic. Everything we hoped for came to fr...
uition and Kudos to Sandra who worked endlessly with other vendors for my daughters wedding at Preston Barn - oh what a night - 6 Stars
My husband and I loved working with Sage from HVC! We had big ideas, a completely raw venue, and no idea what an undertaking like the event we wanted to throw would be when we bega...
n working with her. Luckily, we were in the best of hands! With her expertise and guidance, we chose the best vendors, made the smartest decisions for our budget, and saved anywhere and everywhere we could. We were also able to truly enjoy our day! She handled every last detail masterfully. We arrived and enjoyed the day with the people we love the most while she and her team dealt with every other detail and need — from setup to wrangling (and correcting!) vendors, to family requests, to perfectly packing up our boxes, so we had nothing to do the next day. We truly appreciate her and her team's work in ensuring we didn't worry about a thing!
It was one of the best days of my life, and it could not have happened without her! Be smart and hire her!
When we hired Sage, we didn’t expect the relationship to amount to anything more than ‘please get us McDonalds at 2am’ and boy were we so wrong. My husband has even stated to this ...
day that Sage was like a second mother to us. It’s been difficult to write this review because it’s hard to describe into words how valuable it is to hire Sage. She handled all the intangibles. You don’t realize you need someone like her and we are beyond grateful to have had her for our special day. Our venue was vast and to walk from one end to another could take upwards of 20 minutes. Somehow it felt like Sage was in multiple places at once. She hopped from the groom’s getting ready house, to the bride’s, back to the groom’s MULTIPLE times because we just weren’t organized with little things like, the tips, pocket square etc. I do NOT know how she coordinated this but she is an EXCELLENT cue-er of music for walking down the aisle during the ceremony. We were behind the bushes with Sage and she timed everything SO well without even seeing us walk down. How did she do that? For the rehearsal she was LOUD AND IN CHARGE – and wrangled the hooligans (groomsmen). I believe that if you give her instructions and show her your vision, she will execute. You didn’t need to tell her twice. She is honest and you are able to trust her with anything, including money. We entrusted her with our wad of cash for tips, and she easily delivered them to us on the dance floor of our reception (and she gave back the leftover, which was substantial). My bridesmaids, who have had weddings of their own, even stated that Sage was by FAR better than their wedding planners. She was on top of everything, accommodating, sweet, and supportive. Aside from her just being an excellent day of coordinator, Sage just was ALWAYS there. Also, she’s actually really cool – you’ll want to hang out with her for a full day. This is the part that I don’t think you can compare with anyone else. She’s the best mom-anger and we miss her and think about her often. Such an easy choice – hire this woman!

onth leading up to our wedding; and as a couple planning a wedding not from the Kingston area, her familiarity and knowledge of the town was a huge help all throughout the planning process. During the rehearsal and day of the wedding, she and her assistant kept everything running smoothly and ensured that each and every detail went as planned. We are so appreciative for all of her help and hard work to make sure our wedding day was all that we wanted it to be!
We hired Sage from Hudson Valley Ceremonies to be our month-of coordinator and she was a lifesaver! She helped us organize our day-of timeline and was invaluable day-of when it cam...

ctoria, were so wonderful to work with. Hudson Valley Ceremonies is great as they allow for unlimited communication leading uptimes to the wedding. I appreciated being able to ask as many questions as I needed and felt prepared for the day. Debra and Victoria were so sincere and helpful on the day of our wedding and made us feel very special and taken care of all day.
Hudson Valley Ceremonies was so great! Every 3 months or so, they would send a list of the things that we should be doing that we used to inform our checklist. Sage, our coordinato...
r, was an incredible help leading up to and on the wedding day. She and her assistant helped set up the ceremony, reception and Ketubah signing, and took down the decorations at the end of the night. She also ran the rehearsal, helped make sure everything ran smoothly . She was there for us for the entire day -- I cannot recommend her enough!
Carrie from Hudson Valley Ceremonies officiated our wedding. She did a great job and was able to incorporate aspects of a Hindu ceremony and a Christian ceremony into one. She took...

I just wanted to take a moment and leave a stellar review for HVC Ceremonies, and in particular, our amazing planner Amanda O'Leary. We started planning in late 2020 for our weddi...
ng in 2021 nervous about the unknowns of the coming year. Amanda consistently kept updated us on covid policies, how many people we were allowed to have, etc. We were so so so excited our wedding in late Oct 2021 was coming up. Amanda had every detail completed and perfect. Unfortunately, we had to change our date VERY last minute (like the Monday the week of our Friday wedding) due to covid. Amanda went above and beyond to help us find a new date, take care of every single vendor, and support both me and my husband when we were so upset we needed to change our date. We finally got our PERFECT day in early April 2022, 100% thanks to Amanda. She took care of everything and made sure both me and my husband had the most perfect day. Our guests had the very best time and I felt at ease knowing Amanda had our backs. I cannot say enough good things about her. We are forever grateful for ALL of her hard work and dedication to her job, but also grateful for her friendship and support when we really need it. We love Amanda and would recommend her to anyone a thousand times over!

t day we met virtually, to the wedding day, you were very friendly, easy to connect with, and delivered a great service. You were a hit at the wedding with our guests and us. Hudson Valley Ceremonies was a pleasure to work with! Being a covid bride had it's challenges, but working with HVC was not one of them. Amanda was really helpful and accommodating...
when we needed to change our date from early June to end of September. Reverend Lawrence officiated our wedding. He took the time to chat with us and get a sense of our personalities. He then sent us a prototype of the ceremony before we officially booked HVC. It was exactly the type of ceremony we were looking for. Thank you HVC for helping us have the perfect day!

lanner, Jeanne, and caterer, Josephine from Local 111. When COVID struck NYC in March, we had no idea what to do. Working with Jeanne and family, we eventually decided to move forward with a smaller wedding in parents' backyard in Westchester with 40 guests. It wasn't what we had originally thought, but it was wonderful! Jeanne was a SUPERSTAR helping us through every decision and staying on top of health regulations. She introduced us to every vendor and the day was absolutely perfect, given the constraints from COVID. We feel so fortunate that Jeanne was working with us and guiding us through these major decisions as a complete professional. My family loved working with her and everyone loved all of the staff and vendors at the wedding. It was a very special day!
My husband and I had the great honor of having Reverend Louis of Hudson Valley Officiants marry us! We got married in June at the beautiful Red Maple Vineyard. My husband and I wan...
ted the whole day to be personal, fun, intimate, with special little touches here and there. Rev. Louis helped us create those aspects in our ceremony! We came across HVO on our venue's recommended vendors list. From the very first call with Rev. Louis, we instantly knew we had to look no more for an officiant! He was incredibly friendly and kind to speak to on the phone and took the time to talk about and plan the most perfect wedding ceremony that was tailored specifically to my husband and I! Our ceremony was a beautiful reflection of my husband and I as a couple. Rev Louis incorporated special tidbits about us as a couple, religious elements, and of course, humor! Our guests loved him!! Rev Louis made this whole process seamless and enjoyable. It was the most beautiful and memorable ceremony! I would recommend Rev Louis from Hudson Valley Officiants to everyone and anyone getting married in the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas!
My Wife and I worked with Amanda O'Leary and she was an absolute life saver. We were drowning in details and falling behind in our planning. Amanda not only streamlined our vendor ...
search with solid recommendations, she structured the remaining months leading up to our wedding with milestones to ensure we knew what to focus on and when.
We had a very specific vision and she helped us achieve it on our relatively limited budget. Her creative approach to getting things done more than paid for itself. We can't recommend her and HVC more highly.
Thanks Amanda!!!

Rev. Lawrence married us on 7/5/19 and did an awesome job!! He was easy to communicate with leading up to our big day, as well as on our wedding day. We were able to customize our ...
ceremony to fit our personalities and Rev. Lawrence did a beautiful job carrying it out. He read the reading with intent and the ceremony flowed beautifully. Overall, Hudson Valley Ceremonies was easy to work with and we are so thankful we were connected with Rev. Lawrence!!
Reverend Stuart is the best!
When my husband and I were looking for a wedding officiant we didn’t know where to start to who to trust with this important task. We found Hudson Val...
ley Ceremonies on the Knot. We read through some reviews and liked how responsive the company was with our inquires. We read several of the biographies of the officiants they provide and really liked Rev Stuarts. We facetimed with him a few times and we really liked his personality and his sense of humor. We discussed everything that was important to us as a couple and really wanted the ceremony to fit us. Rev Stuart did a fantastic job writing our ceremony. He really listened to what we wanted and it was perfect! My husband and I are not religious and we wanted the ceremony to be more about us as a couple and the love and friendship we share. The ceremony was sentimental, sweet, personal, and at times funny! It was exactly what we wanted. He even did a more unique Celtic ring ceremony that our guests loved! Reverend Stuart was professional and made our ceremony feel so personal to who we are. We cannot express how happy we were with our ceremony and our choice to go with Reverend Stuart.
My husband and I contact Hudson valley Ceremonies. I immediately fell in love with Rev. Lawrence R. McCauley. Our phone interview was great. We laughed and talked the whole time. ...
He is really a pleasant man and very funny. I hung up the phone knowing that he was our right choice. The day of the wedding was incredible. Rev. Lawrence McCauley was on time and professional. He wrote us the most beautiful vows. We had a few laughs during the ceremony. He said our wedding was one of his funniest and most favorite experiences. I highly recommend him! Thank you so much Rev. Lawrence for everything. Love Scott and Kristen and our puppies :)
There are not enough ways to begin to say how amazing Lauren Brown was for our wedding. Our day went incredibly smooth and it was all thanks to her. From making sure everyone was w...
here they needed to be and making sure the timing of everything was just right. She was incredibly easy to work with and considered all our needs.
We were married at Locust Grove Estate in Poughkeepsie and live in VA. Lauren met with us each time we were in NY to work on something for the wedding. About a month before the wedding we came up to get our marriage license and tie up some last-minute details, Lauren met with us and the vendors to go over details. She saved us when the caterer tried to say we had to pay extra for something that our contract had already covered. Lauren came the day before the wedding to help with rehearsal and to take all the decorations which she then set up the morning of and took down after the wedding. Lauren answered our emails in a timely manner through out the whole process. If there was a misunderstanding of our vision, she was fine having a phone call to figure it out. I could not recommend Lauren more!

t Jeanne. From the very beginning she was calm, cool, and confident - shedding light on all the aspects that needed to be taken care of and providing all the resources to achieve them. Jeanne's recommendations were on point, from caterers to flowers to photographers, and she always had options and ideas for all the minute details. She is a true captain who will steer your event to greatness. If you are looking for a wedding planner in the Hudson Valley, do yourself (and your sanity) a favor and choose Jeanne Stark!

me, and had answers to even the craziest of questions i had. She was quick to respond to emails, and made time for my crazy late night calls, helping talk me off a ledge! :) Then during the wedding, she handled every issue with ease and without hesitation. If you are debating whether or not you need a day-of coordinator, the answer is yes. Peace of mind is worth every penny. Best use of money i spent on the whole wedding, seriously. They are truly good at what they do, and i will be recommending to all.

My husband and I had the privilege of working with wedding coordinator Lauren Pasternak and we couldn’t be happier!! She was always professional and efficient, while also being so ...
incredibly sweet, thoughtful, and helpful with every aspect of our wedding rehearsal and ceremony! Lauren was able to take a day that could definitely bring upon some anxiety and remove that stress because we knew she was there to make sure that everything was going to run smoothly. She’s the best and I would recommend her services to anyone!
We also worked with reverend Lawrence McCauley who made our ceremony perfect for us. It was like we had known him forever! He was able to create a ceremony that worked perfectly for my husband and I and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out! Everyone couldn’t stop talking about what a beautiful ceremony it was.

We had several guests ask if Naomi was a friend of ours because of her meaningful speech, but we had actually only spoke on the phone and through email. One thing I'd recommend to all brides is to prepare to hand everything over to the HVC team on the day. I didn't actually get enough organized ahead (we all probably feel this way) and somehow expected that I'd be available to direct some things... This is NOT the case. Organize and communicate all things to the HVC team ahead of time and then relax on the day. Enjoy!

, Sage helped us find vendors, took charge of all the rentals, provided some of her own decorations. The day of, Sage coordinated all the set up and timing for the day. She was also a calming presence reminding me and my fiance to enjoy ourselves. I can not be more grateful! Thank you thank you thank you!

as to make our vows personable and elegant. We met with Rev. Stu prior to the wedding and went over all the different options for how to customize our ceremony. Rev. Stu worked with us to incorporate all the details in the ceremony that were important to us and create a base that we could build from. We received a detailed document going over all aspects of the ceremony and a first draft of the vows. We then customized our vows and Stu worked all of our adjustments into the final draft. Rev. Stu performed the ceremony beautifully, spoke clearly, and added some cheerful humor to lighten the mood and make our wedding memorable. You will not be disappointed with Reverend Stu! Book him!!!
Early on, we decided we wanted to write our own ceremony and have it performed by a friend. It was so wonderful to be able to use Hudson Valley Ceremonies not only to make sure the...
legal aspects of the wedding we covered, but also for their beautiful assortment of ceremony components on their website. Jeanne was response and informative. We loved that HVC sent helpful reminder emails for when it was time to get our wedding license. We purchased the “Friends Officiate” package and Reverend Elizabeth came exactly on time and was warm, friendly, and professional. It took so much pressure off us to know that everything would be filed in accordance to NY law.

jects like putting together all our welcome bags and favors, picked up items we needed from vendors, dealt with other vendors for us, and provided us with items she had at her shop. She made us feel relaxed and comfortable leading up to the wedding, and during the entire wedding (even though it rained all day). We literally could not have had our wedding without her!!

ery willing to work with us to edit it in any way we wanted to. The ceremony was very heartfelt and touching. Debra made it just right for us. Debra is extremely easy to work with, she is even great with the other vendors. We highly, highly recommend working with Debra for your wedding ceremony!
My husband and I used Hudson Valley Ceremonies to help us the day of our wedding day. Sandra O'Connell was assigned to us and she did a great job! You don't always think about all...
of the things that need to be gathered and brought back to you room with you at the end of the ceremony as well as all the initial prep before hand!
I have to say that Sandra nailed every detail. I didn't not need to worry about a think and when I arrived at my hotel room at the end of the night everything from wedding gifts to champagne glasses were accounted for. There was not a think that was overlooked. Sandra was super nice and pleasant to work with, very responsive and I know we were in good hands.
If you want piece of mind during your day, I wouldn't look anywhere else. They were great!
Plain and simple: Book Jeanne. We were not seeking a wedding coordinating as we were very much in the mind set that we can handle this and don't need someone else involved. But as ...
we were checking references for other vendors (not wedding coordinators) at our wedding location, we kept hearing, "YOU NEED TO GET JEANNE." Finally, we decided we need to see who this Jeanne was, and she was more than we thought she could be. Jeanne was our breath of fresh air in the wedding planning madness. She always had it together and had our backs to make sure everything was what we wanted. She knew our concerns and she knows EVERY VENDOR. Instead of spending hours checking references for caterers or djs, or trying to figure out where to rent tables, she directed us in all the right directions and connected us to amazing vendors. Our day was filled with great people with great attitudes making sure we were happy, not stressed, having the time of our lives, and that we were not lifting a finger. It all came together with amazing bonuses. For instance, we wanted to figure out how to rent a karaoke machine and a photo booth as well. Of course, Jeanne had both. We wanted extra boxes for wedding favors: Jeanne. Flip Flops for guests at the reception that we hadn't even thought of: Jeanne. The brunch the next morning: Jeanne. No caterers, just her amazing coordination and her great ideas (like having a bloody mary bar). It was all so easy, creative and beautiful. So many aspects of your wedding feel like you are pouring wayyy to much money into different places, but Jeanne was worth every penny (she is also extremely reasonably priced and we felt like we were getting a deal considering how much she did for us). She goes above and beyond and no task or request is too much. And she's a wealth of knowledge for every aspect of your wedding. For peace and mind, hire Jeanne. No regrets, only one incredible seamless day.

es over the phone over the course of the year prior to getting married. She took the time to really get to know us as people and as a couple - our history and interests and delivered a very personable and unique ceremony for us. She was always available and arrived an hour early to our wedding just for ease of mind and to help everyone get organized. I would absolutely recommend her through Hudson Value Ceremonies!
We couldn't have done it without Jeanne Stark! From the hundreds of emails, to her ability to solve every problem almost instantaneously, to her cool, calm, and collected demeanor ...
throughout our whole wedding she was invaluable and absolutely perfect in every way. If you are considering working with Jeanne don't look any further and sign that contract. You won't regret it!

PS - he is also very organized and calm - valuable and essential traits when both grooms are a tad nervous!
