Andrie was a pleasure to work with and delivered amazing results. He really captured us, our sillyness, our family and friends, and the special details of our day. When watching our film, I laughed and cried. His techniques to authentically capture and edit film turned it into an artful and wonderful memory. His survey and meetings with us were really thorough to find out our story, what we are like, what our interests are, etc., and how he could incorporate that into our wedding film. Nothing about it felt formulaic or commercially produced, but rather an intimate peek into us and our wedding day. Also important was that he worked with our photographer, not against her, so at no point were they stepping on each others' toes. Andrie is truly a master of his craft. We chose him as the videographer for our wedding, because we could tell from his portfolio that he was a skilled storyteller. We knew he was talented, but still when we received our reel last night we were blown away. Andrie elegantly pieced together our wedding day into a reel that is equal parts beautiful and interesting. When seeking out a videographer, I found that so many wedding reels lack quality audio. Andrie, however, uses audio as element in his story telling, and it makes his work stand out. He seamlessly embeds sounds bites from speeches with clips from the ceremony and reception to create videos that are emotive and compelling. When we watch our wedding reel, I feel joyful and nostalgic, like for a moment I am back in that Adirondack field surrounded by our loved ones. As a wedding vendor, Andrie is friendly and professional. From the start, I felt like Andrie valued us as clients and truly wanted to capture our day in a way that was relevant to us. On the day of our wedding, Andrie made us feel comfortable. He was a focused observer, who captured all of our precious moments without overreaching. He worked well with our photographer, who he had never met before. He sent us our video in the expected timeline, and even with anticipating something incredible, he still exceeded our expectations. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Andrie and Maggie. Not only are they two of the nicest people I have ever met, they are amazing at what they do! We were a postponed couple from the 2020 pandemic. Our wedding was 3 years later than we imagined and last May, we finally got to have our day. Unfortunately and fortunately for us, our original videographer had to cancel just a few short months before our wedding was finally ready to take place. It ended up being a blessing in disguise. As we searched for a new videographer, I came across Hudson Valley Creative. (thanks to the power of social media.) We scheduled a call with Andrie and instantly connected. Leading up to our wedding— communicating with Andrie was always easy, unrushed and comfortable. He was warm -- listened to what we wanted and what was important to us. More than just a vendor. Andrie & Maggie-- They felt like confidants, friends— the ones who have your very best interest at heart. 
The kind of friend’s who you can feel absolutely comfortable with. The ones you can spend hours talking with. & Although our wedding was in a different country, let alone city. Andrie worked through all the hurdles it took to travel (COVID times). He not only came prepared, but even took additional time to meet with us for the first time in person before the wedding. It allowed us to not only introduce ourselves, but he went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. He even visited the site of the wedding the day prior, to best prepare and see the area. On the day of the wedding— they were present in every way possible. They did more than just capture our wedding. They were thoughtful, meticulous, paid attention to all the details. They worked graciously and easily with all our vendors and our photographers. We booked a videographer for our wedding and came out with so much more than that. Andrie took our vision of what we imagined for our wedding video and turned it in to so much more. When I look back on our video, I can feel the day. Relieve it. Palpate it.
