I don’t have enough words to describe how pleasant it was to work with Connie and her team when it came to designing our wedding cake. We just got married in July in a barn in the Catskills and we wanted a cake that would be fitting to us and the location of our wedding. I showed Connie a very tall naked cylinder cake that I was afraid she would shut down, but she loved the idea and was up for the challenge… and did she deliver! Not only did she make us our dream cake, but the flavor of our carrot cake (my favorite) was out of this world! We are so happy we found Hudson Valley Dessert Company! It will forever be a special bakery to us and we can’t wait to stop in during our road trips for more of that carrot cake! Thank you, Connie, Dave, and staff!

All of our guests told us that the cake was the best wedding cake they ever had! It was incredibly delicious! And it looked gorgeous too! Also, HVDC was super easy to work with, arrived on time, and was very reliable & responsive. I highly recommend using them for your wedding cake or even for any desserts!

We cannot say enough great things about Hudson Valley Dessert Company! Not only was our cake beautiful and delicious, working closely with Connie was a great experience. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she created a wedding cake that was more than I could have imagined ! We live out of town and communicated through phone calls and email in which she was always so prompt to return . On top of making the process stress free and easy, you absolutely cannot beat the price. We highly recommend HVDC for any event or wedding ! You will not be disappointed !

Hudson Valley Dessert Company provided the desserts for my wedding, and I couldn't possibly be any happier with the results. They made the most ADORABLE customized chicken and egg cookies, a plethora of incredible cupcakes -- some gluten free and some vegan too, and the most gorgeous floral tiered DELICIOUS cake we could have ever dreamed of (the top tier of which was gluten free to meet my dietary needs)! AND, even though we had a slight cake emergency and our chicken cake toppers got lost in the mail, they TOTALLY last minute made us the most intricate beautiful chicken & rooster toppings out of fondant that blew any other cake toppers in existence out of the water. Customer service is incredible too, Constance is the sweetest most genuine person, and you will NOT find a more affordable dessert caterer anywhere nearby! I highly recommend them for all of your dessert needs!

The cakes were delicious, and at a great value. They were even able to make me a small vegan cake in addition to the other cakes for our guests! The owner worked with us to ensure we had a variety of flavors, and it was very inexpensive for the quantity that they provided. Set up and delivery were also very professional. Highly recommended!

They created my favors for my wedding, and produced the entire batch upside down. The own was incredibly unprofessional, and instead of immediately offering to fix them for us, just suggested that we take the order as is at a discount. She finally agreed to re-produce them for us, though not without alot of complaining about how big a time and cost issue this would be for them, and while at least right-side up, they were still not produced exactly to my specifications. They tasted good, but I wish we had gone with another company to make our favors - one that would have made the week before my wedding alot less stressful!

We thought we couldn't afford a wedding cake, but their price is out of this world. We received many compliments on the great taste of the cake, as well. Their designs leave a smidge to be desired, but we asked them to keep it very simple, so it looked great. Success!
