use I do not consider myself to be creative and I hate planning events. Kelly was so detail oriented and kept me on track with the coordination pieces, provided vendors, met with us regularly, etc. My husband agreed that the event would not have been the same without her! I highly recommend choosing from their list of preferred vendors as they are familiar with the venue and what works/what doesn't work. Even with last minute changes and requests, they were so accommodating and understanding. All of the staff were so kind and helpful throughout the night. The day was so perfect for us, and our families and friends had so much fun!!!! Thank you Kelly and Hunt Valley CC for an AMAZING evening!

All three women were amazing at helping me plan the wedding of my dreams as well as making sure everything ran smoothly the day of. I have heard nothing but praise from my wedding guests as well about the staff at the venue.

They are very responsive via email (difficult to reach by phone). They are very professional. At the wedding, Kelly and Jenine, along with other HVCC staff, helped us so much with the event order to make sure everything happens perfectly. Jenine would give us the appetizers right after the ceremony so that newlywed couple and wedding party are not starving. She also helped with busheling the wedding dress, and checked on us often to make sure we are okay. Team worked together to make sure all the wedding decorations are ready on time and made it more impressive than what we expected. I definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to get married in the area!

ife. The staff, food, drinks... everything was perfect! Julie helped us plan everything leading up to the event, and Kelly ensured that everything ran smoothly on the day itself. We even ordered our cake through them because they have a partnership with Sugar Bakers Cakes. This made that process easy and it helped that we want to use this bakery anyway since they are one of the few in the area that could make our wedding cake Smith Island Cake flavored! (Highly recommend using this perk. The cake was delicious!) Janine kindly drove us around the course on a golf cart to take photos--my husband actually remembers meeting her when we first toured the venue last Fall and she was so welcoming and sweet. The views are spectacular and the space is very inviting and somehow cozy, even though it can host large weddings and events. We truly loved working with this venue and can't say enough positive things about the whole experience. We have received so many compliments about the reception from our friends and family. Wish we could do it all over again!

The food was soo delicious (we had over 20 guests compliment the chef because their meal was so tasty!!), we had a raw oyster bar, fruit & cheese displays, passed appetizers and the option of filet or French boned chicken for the main meal and OMG the best Parmesan risotto ever, like I asked for some to take home!!!! Overall, the staff was so attentive to us (bride and groom) and everyone left with a full a belly, smiling, and reminiscing on how beautiful of a day it was and I can't thank HVCC enough for all their hard work! Julie was absolutely AMAZING! She was super attentive and paid attention to every little detail (I'm an all about the details kinda bride), responsive to all of my random questions along the planning process, asked so many good questions I didn't think of, and most of all made us feel completely comfortable letting her run one of the most special days of our lives!!!

Any decorations that we brought, the Hunt Valley Country Club staff set up for us and the day came together so easily. The views were beautiful and our guests couldn't stop talking about how great the food was. When we had our tasting, the food was unbelievable but we were definitely skeptical because we had a pretty big group coming and it is hard to make food for so many people. This wasn't a problem for the Chef at Hunt Valley Country Club, the food was so good and people reached out to us after to let us know how good it was. We were able to leave things there when the night was over and pick it up the next day with no issues. My day couldn't have gone any better with Julie and Hunt Valley Country Club, I am so happy we picked them!!

to final goodbyes, every single second was magical. Not a single thing was stressful and everything was beautiful. The decor was perfect for spring. The food was raved about by all guests. And the scenery made for the perfect photos. I keep hearing from guests how this was the best wedding they have ever been to. Julie -- thank you for listening to all my last minute ideas and helping them come alive. Its hard to envision something you have dreamed about forever when you are putting it down on paper. But to see how it all came together in the end was truly amazing. Jeanine -- thank you for being the sweetest! I trusted you with every detail nd you perfected them. You made me feel so relaxed and I appreciate that more than you know. I can not thank HVCC enough for being the best venue ever! I could not have asked for a better day.

trees were bare, it was so beautiful. We knew the views on our April wedding day would be so special. Everyone was so incredibly kind, thoughtful, and helpful. Julie, the wedding coordinator took such great care of us from start to end. All of the staff on the day of the wedding were so friendly and treated us so well. They made sure everything was perfect from our decor set up, our food, and making sure we always had a drink in our hand. So many of our guests said how our wedding was one of the best they have ever been to and we definitely credit that to the incredible venue and people at Hunt Valley Country Club.

an't beat the view of the golf course. Guests raved about the food and the crush bar (many said it was the most fun wedding they've been to!) I can't say enough great things about Julie, the events coordinator. She was super organized and full of great ideas to make our day special. It rained the entire day of our wedding, and Julie and the HVCC staff organized and executed the entire event indoors seamlessly. We also got ready for our wedding with our bridal party at the venue and the whole day was tons of fun. The hair and make up crew loved the natural light in the ballroom, and the staff was attentive to all of our needs. I truly can't recommend HVCC enough!!

couples. Hunt Valley worked with us to give us a new date and honored details of the contract we had signed the previous year. Julie walked us through all the little details and choices, and was endlessly patient with all of our questions and changes that were made. The week before the reception, Julie was in touch with us almost every day with reminders or questions or answers to our questions. The day before, she was there for us to drop off our reception decor pieces and set up the entire space ready for the florist to come in and put the beautiful finishing touches on the space. During the reception, Julie was there with her staff making sure my new husband and I had everything we needed and making sure the guests were well fed and happy. The chef at Hunt Valley is fantastic!! The food was top notch and prepared perfectly!! It was a beautiful reception. Unfortunately, my father was suffering from a kidney stone, and had to leave before the reception. Julie made sure Dad's meal was packed up so we could take it home to him and still enjoy it. I would recommend Hunt Valley, Julie, Janine and their staff to anyone looking for a comfortable, cozy feel to celebrate any occasion with family and friends. It was a beautiful venue, and a wonderful evening.

e complaints not only I have, but that my wedding guests have shared with me as well. The venue is absolutely beautiful, but the staff is just embarrassing. -It was my understanding from Jillian, the events manager, that she would be my point person for the day of the wedding, and that the staff/coordinator will set up the decor, decorations, cupcakes, centerpieces, etc. None of that happened. No one was present for the first two hours that my bridal party was there. I had called Jillian when we arrived, and did not receive a response- but did not have anyone greet us, or tell us what the flow of the day would be like. This caused a lot of confusion. By the time 3pm came around, my bridal party was rushing and setting up the centerpieces and table decor because nothing had been done by the staff as of yet- with only two hours until the ceremony start time. The "wedding coordinator" role for that day was absolutely nonexistent. Right before the ceremony when someone from the staff was trying to help, (the catering manager she called herself) broke several of my vases. Shattering 3 large tall hurricanes, and several of my gold votives I brought. Jillian resurfaced at the time of my ceremony to assist with the bridal party line up. Several people were looking for her throughout the reception, and when one of my bridesmaids went to her office to find her, and seek her assistance, Jillian was SLEEPING. Unprofessionalism to the nth degree. Let's continue. -Next, I would like to touch on the bartender Paula. She was soliciting herself as a medium trying to get my wedding guests to pay her for a "psychic service". She was taking shots behind the bar, and by the end of the evening was visibly drunk and inappropriate. One of my bridesmaids said to her, oh wow you're allowed to take shots while working? Paula's response was that no one was watching and there aren't cameras, so she can do what she wants. She was sloppy, making inappropriate comments, and even jumped in a photobooth picture with my husband, bending down, opening her mouth towards his private area. I had higher expectations for your staff. Especially at a wedding that consisted of high caliber doctors and lawyers- we were embarrassed.. to say the least. -The dinner during the reception was chaotic, like the staff has never done this before. There was a full table missing chairs, where the guests were standing eating their salads until I could flag down someone to bring this to their attention. Then the table next to our sweetheart table didn't receive any food until after everyone was already done eating.. again, I had to flag someone down to ask why that table still had yet to receive their meals. The catering manager lady was frantic, telling people they ran out of food. Ran out of food?? How is that possible when not only did they have an exact count of meals to the tables, but we should have even had extra because of guests that were unable to attend. -Which brings me to my next point, Jillian had told me that any meals that we paid for, for guests who were unable to attend, we would be able to take with us. I had a whole table of 8 guests not attend. Not only had I asked for this food several times, but Jillian was nowhere to be found to assist with this issue. -- All this to say...STAY AWAY.

The mountain/hilly view that the venue offers with its large windows was a big part of our vision. The amazing food was a big plus too. Literally felt more like a friend relationship than a business one! ALL HVCC staff were adaptable, friendly, flexible, open and honest from day one. The venue itself is STUNNING. You cannot ask for a better view. My husband and I and our guests had the absolute best night of our lives and we would not change on thing in regard to HVCC. 10/10 stars any time any day!!!! GET MARRIED HERE!

I could ever want was taken care of, they moved all my details throughout the night to make sure they were always seen. The food was absolutely the best, and the ballroom was breath taking. Every guest in attendance was in awe of the view and the ballroom. If you are looking for the perfect wedding venue, equip with ceremony/ reception space , tables, chairs, table cloths, flatware, glass ware, etc. This is the place you need to be! I can not say enough amazing things about HVCC. If I could award them 10 stars, I would!

e loved having the outdoor & indoor venues available to us. Outside ceremony and inside reception offered the best of both worlds. Even the outside sparkler send off to the limo was a nice finishing touch. We are thankful for Allie, Cayla (day of coordinator), and the entire staff, for having gone above and beyond every step of the way. For all the detailed planning that's involved, I'm still amazed at how smoothly everything went.

The tent for the ceremony was intimate and spacious all at the same time. The reception area was lit with beautiful candles and wall to floor windows! HVCC allowed us to be at the venue from the early morning to be able to set up, decorate, and get dressed there. The food was in house (which is a BIG PLUS), the event was 4 hours long, and the wait staff were amazing! Besides working with great people at HVCC, the intimacy of the entire venue made you feel so close with your guests and able to celebrate with them throughout the busy day! We cannot thank HVCC and the staff enough for EVERYTHING they did for us. And, thank you Allie for all your help!

all around the beautiful venue, which includes floor to ceiling glass windows encasing three of the four walls in the newly renovated reception hall and overlooking the well-manicured and maintained golf course and pond, a gorgeous wood bar area, updated carpeting and beautiful chandeliers, tasteful décor, a rather large wedding party room (for the wedding party to get dressed, eat, drink, and de-stress inside throughout the day), beautiful bathrooms, and of course, a huge tent and balcony overlooking the golf course, under which we got married on June 29, 2018. As if that wasn’t enough to make us fall in love with the venue (it was), Anna walked us through all they were willing to offer, including discounts for a Friday wedding, all linens – and they have a huge array of color choices – silverware, tableware, and glassware, and they also provided us with many options for our dinner and cocktail spread. We loved having so many choices, and the fact that the pricing was extremely affordable gave us the ability to add more, such as an open bar for guests. Our tasting was amazing; everything was delectable, and Hunt Valley Country Club even took care of the cake and centerpieces for us! Seriously, Hunt Valley Country Club is an amazing, classy, elegant establishment, and the perfect venue. It is a one-stop shop, and the only vendors I needed to go outside for were the DJ, photographer, florist, and photobooth. And on top of all this, Hunt Valley Country Club also included a day-of-coordinator, Emily, as part of our contract. Emily was fantastic! She and Anna sat down with us and went through a huge checklist so they knew exactly what was needed and what we expected a month ahead of time (plus, they kept in constant email contact with use throughout our engagement—from August to June). Emily also put together the floor plan, double checked all linen colors and floor spacing, determined our timeline, ran us through our rehearsal, verified all our planned decorations, and had us bring all our decorations up two days in advance. Emily and her team then decorated the entire venue for us – making the decoration aspect of the wedding completely stress free for me (and then they packed it all back up for us and had our decorations waiting for my family to pick up the next day)! I was so impressed! Emily even pinned all the boutonnieres and corsages on our wedding party! To be honest, Emily, Anna, and their team are the reason my wedding day was perfect! There wasn’t one issue nor one thing I would change; I’ve heard from many brides that their day didn’t go exactly as planned, but mine went exactly as I envisioned, and I 100% owe that to Emily and Anna. They were superb and fantastic, and I highly recommend them and the Hunt Valley Country Club! Do yourself a favor and contact Anna to see the venue. You won’t be disappointed!

Anna and Emily were so helpful and patient in the process leading up to the wedding, recommending vendors, helping with the timeline, answering all of our questions, etc etc. And the day of they made sure everything went smoothly and kept everything on track- we didn’t have to worry about anything the entire evening except being with our guests and enjoying ourselves. The food was really good too and there was a staff person who checked in on my husband and I to make sure we ate and drank. We added an extra hour to our package which I would recommend to everyone- the night absolutely flies by! We cannot thank Hunt Valley enough for making our wedding day so perfect.
