I don't think I'll ever have the words to describe how blessed we are to have had Hunter document our day. People will tell you that your wedding is the fastest day of your life and they aren't wrong. I think back to our favorite moments we had throughout the day, and each of those involved Hunter behind the scenes documenting the precious instances in time. He felt like an extension of our family and wedding party as he truly lived in every second right along with us. Every time someone new would enter in a shot or get the chance to meet Hunter, the first words out of their mouths would be "where did you find him and how can we become his best friend?". He is so much more than a videographer in our eyes. He's a friend, a peace keeper, a story teller, an artist, a party starter, a sense of calm--the list truly goes on and on. He took the time to get to know us and what we're all about which made the entire experience so personal and comfortable. His films are so customized to portray each love story perfectly, and we are so excited to be able to replay our day over and over for the rest of our lives. We are so lucky to have met Hunter, and are eternally grateful for the ability to relive our day with his films forever.

There is no one quite like Hunter. We all talk about being present and he is just that. When I had a little bit of jitters the morning of my wedding, he reminded me that is just a part of being human and he has a little too but it was all going to be alright.. you’ll get through them and have the best day ever. He brought me water, a mimosa and sushi as I got ready and jammed to music with me and my girls in our bridal suite to calm my nerves: as the day went on he danced with all of our guests and knew everyone by their name. Our guests thought we had known Hunter for years because of how well he meshed in with our people. Hunter lives in the present. He doesn’t just capture a moment but he LIVES it. He embraces your wedding and he feels every single bit of every moment that you, your husband and your guests are feeling. Hunter GENUINELY loves people and it shows. I feel like I don’t have all the right words to describe how much this guy means to me, my new husband and all of our family and friends. He will forever be part of our crew. Wedding mornings are cray cray and I’ve never felt so mellow. Hunter kept calm and helped me to do the same. As a bride; you need that. There is no one in this whole wide world we would’ve rather capture our day. Since he lived in the moment, we, Also get to do the same with his incredible artwork for the rest if our lives. This guy is pure talent. He is going to be BIG- seriously. So id get him to your big day as fast as you can! Also I’m pretty sure I’ve watched our video a million times over since we be received it!! Friends and family that were not able to make it to our wedding have RAVED about our guy, Hunter, and it’s well deserved. His work is unique, captivating, and make you feel like your wedding just made its way into a Hollywood quality cinematic film. It’s not a feeling, it’s a fact, that this dude is second to none in this amazing craft.

Hunter. Oh Hunter. He is someone I wish I met much earlier in life when he lived in Chicago, but this is truly just the start of an unbelievable relationship. Truth be told, I own a wedding planning company in Chicago and never had the opportunity to work with Hunter before he moved down to Austin. A fellow wedding planner mentioned I should reach out and I figured, mine as well give it a try to see if we were a good fit. We weren’t even sure if we wanted to hire a videographer because our entire elopement weekend was pretty last minute (we moved our wedding to Fall 2022 and eloped in Texas in May 2021 instead). I knew our day was much more relaxed than a typical wedding so was a videographer necessary? Mark my words, less than a week after we said “I Do” I think Hunter is one of my favorite sporadic decisions of our elopement. He has delivered some of the most incredible, tear jerking (actually!!!) mini clips from our elopement that I feel like I’m reliving the day by watching. Video is a much different medium than photography. I know everyone says they need to hire a photographer but no one realizes the importance of hearing emotion and seeing movement which is why I say as not only a bride but a wedding planner, you need to hire a videographer. And more specifically – Hunter. One thing I told Hunter as I “interviewed” him was that I was nervous our videographer would have a huge presence and be in the way, make guests feel uncomfortable, and just not fit in. Well Hunter was wildly respectful of that and I could tell just by his disposition in our conversation he was in fact super “chill” and would be a fly on the wall. Come wedding day, Hunter was just that. I wasn’t sure where he was [in a good way] and when we were relaxing by the pool, he hung out with my friends and family and brought lovely conversation and happiness to our group. Our small group really loved having him with us to celebrate. While I have not seen the full videos of our day, I can already tell with Hunter’s editing techniques and an eye for those “candid” moments, it’s going to be amazing. As a wedding planner of 7 years and a now-married woman, I wholeheartedly loved my experience with Hunter and will sing his praises for time to come.

I found Hunter via Instagram and instantly fell in love with his work. He actually tries to tell your story through his work; its not cut-and-dry film making. I looked in to and spoke with more than a few videographers. We LOVE Hunter and wish we had a reason for work with him again! We loved having him with us throughout the day. He's kind, funny, and super creative. Our photographers loved him, too. <3 He stayed later than he had to and I had multiple bridesmaids tell me they plan to use him for their big day after spending some time with him! Thank you, Hunter!

My husband and I had our winter wonderland wedding last month and Hunter was by our side capturing our special day. Hunter is talented, organized, and so fun to work with! We received a first look teaser and it was AMAZING - we are SO excited to see more!! His work speaks for itself, but what you don't see in his films is his vivacious personality and his flexibility. He really listened to what we wanted in order to assure he captured our vision and from the looks of our teaser video, he did just that! I can feel our love through the video. We are so thankful we had Hunter by our side on our special day!!

Hunter is the best! So much fun to work with and does an excellent job! Would highly recommend Hunter to anyone!!!

We absolutely loved working with Hunter. He is laid back, easygoing and so personable. He took time leading up to the wedding to get to know my husband and me so he could create a product that was personalized to us. We got so many compliments on our highlight video and we couldn’t be happier with the quality of final product. I highly recommend Hunter as your wedding videographer!!

We loved working with Hunter! We initially chose him because we felt his videos truly captured the uniqueness of each couple and how special their day was. He was so easy to work with and worked well with our photographers. He provided us with a same-day quick video montage at the reception, which made the entire head table scream with excitement. It was absolutely amazing to see what he pulled together in such a short amount of time from only one camera. He then left out his computer with the clip he put together on it so our guests could see what he had created. Judging from the quality of the short clip he showed us, I know our wedding video will be absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough good things about Hunter and would recommend Bearmane films to anyone in the area!

I want to be clear in this review that my fiancé and I did not end up using Hunter or Bearmane. The quality of the product was excellent for the price range. My review is more of a "buyer beware" to a situation that happened with my experience working with the company. We met with Hunter in person after reviewing his work online. We really liked his personality. We decided to get a contract (which stated Hunter would be our primary videographer) and have it reviewed by our wedding coordinator, as well as send it to our Venue coordinator to ensure Hunter had the appropriate required insurance, etc. We were in discussions with Hunter to sign the contract, no changes were left to be made at this time. This was the end of January 2018 through the first week of February 2018. While we were awaiting these responses from the Venue (Hunter was CC’d on all Venue communication emails), he told us his company was growing and he was no longer available to shoot our wedding. This was a change in a matter of one week. So the last week of January his company was not growing and then all of a sudden the first week of February Hunter no longer had the capacity to film for our wedding. No other vendor would tell clients that they aren’t available anymore, especially during a contract review. All other wedding related vendors would notify clients that another party is interested, giving the right of first refusal to the first potential clients. When approached about this, Hunter became very defensive and even sent a defensive email (which I still have) about trust. It was interesting he brought up trust, when he was the only person that created any distrust. I would highly recommend working with someone more professional. For a company trying to gain market share in a saturated Chicago market it doesn’t seem like the best idea to do what he did. Again, his product is good for the price, and initially he seemed like a good person to work with, but when you expect to pay thousands of dollars to someone to deliver purely based on professionalism and trust, there’s plenty of other choices in Chicago.

Hunter did a great job capturing our special day. He was really easy to work with and fit right in with us (groom+groomsmen) as we were getting ready. My wife and I were blown away by the footage, from the seamless integration of music to transition between the more sentimental moments and high energy fun. Hunter is truly talented and you will not be disappointed. We would work with him again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I hired BearMane Films to capture our wedding in September and could not be more thrilled that we did! From the first conversation we had with Hunter, to receiving our final footage, communication was excellent and he made us feel more like a family friend than anything else. He is so personable, genuine, fun, and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Not to mention, the final product! We LOVE our highlight film (as do all of our friends and family) and feel so blessed to have our wedding footage to look back on in the years to come. If you're wondering if you should spend the money and invest in a videographer, DO IT! And better yet, go with BearMane Films. It was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and I would recommend Hunter to anyone that asks!

Hunter did an amazing job on our wedding video! We were very pleased with his work and he was very easy to talk to! Communication was very good. He was fun to work with on our wedding day and had great ideas for footage. Highly reccomend!
