individual portraits, he took us away from the crowd and created a quiet, special time for us that I will forever think of when I look at our pictures! He exceeded my expectations beyond what I had imagined. It was so helpful to be able to meet with him ahead of the wedding and to be able to share some of our ideas of what kind of pictures we wanted and what kind of style we were looking for. He managed to capture pictures of almost everyone at the wedding, which was so important to us! We would recommend Hunter for anyone looking for a wedding photographer!!

We were worried for our engagement photos because we didn’t know how to pose but he helped us feel like naturals and so comfortable in front of the camera. our engagement photos, Hunter did an amazing job of picking perfect spots at the location we chose (Fort De Soto). And he helped make the whole experience fun! My husband is not the biggest fan of taking pictures, but even he had a good time and really appreciated Hunter’s approach.
Hunter is an extremely talented photographer and knows exactly what to look for in getting the perfect shot. Not only does he have technical expertise, but his intrapersonal skills made it possible for everyone to be at ease and natural. Whereas some photographers can be pushy and rigid in their approach, Hunter was laid back and fun!
His attention to detail and his help with coordinating a day of schedule to make sure every special moment was captured. He worked around our busy lives to set up meetings to discuss timelines for our big day. This ensured that there was a photographer, either himself or the second shooter, with the bridal party so that nothing was missed.

every detail we told him about our day. As people who were planning a destination wedding in Clearwater from Chicago, he made sure he was communicative with my husband and I, making sure that EVERY detail we wanted would go off without a hitch.
He sends a comprehensive questionnaire to get a vision of your day, and is willing to meet at any time, no matter how many months out from the wedding, to make sure you get every picture you want. I gave him a shot list for the day of, and he went through and took every picture (and more!) that I wanted. I could genuinely feel his excitement to be at my wedding and that he cared about my day just as much as I did.
All of my vendors told me how much fun he was to work with, and I had SO MANY GUESTS tell me how much fun he was, even cheering him on to get to big group picture at the reception! Then after my guests saw the pictures.... they loved him even more! It's been 4 months since we got married, and I STILL cannot stop looking at my pictures every single day. I have no idea how we will choose which ones to hang up... are all of them acceptable?
if you're thinking about hiring Hunter... DO IT!!! It will be the best choice you will ever make, and you will have someone in your corner not just on your day, but for months leading up to your day and will capture it exactly how you want it to be captured.
ALSO - we hired his wife, Erika, as our day-of coordinator and it was one of the best decisions for our wedding. They make the BEST team, coordinating your timeline and making sure everything goes perfectly for you.

enthusiastic about our big day. He made note of everything we wanted for pictures and his questionnaire he had us fill out was super comprehensive so every photo we wanted was on his radar. On our wedding day Hunter and his second shooter were both incredible! They took so much care of the whole bridal party and our family making sure everyone was included and having a fun time taking photos. During our couple portraits and individual portraits his directions for how to pose were super helpful and every image we got back in our gallery is beyond beautiful. Hunter and his second shooter also made us and all of our guests feel 100% comfortable. Wedding days, and especially couple portraits can be a very intimate moment and it really felt like Hunter and his team were guests who were celebrating right along with us but also capturing all the important moments! He had a second shooter Ryan who was also fantastic and helped carry my dress around Saint. Petersburg. From a tactical standpoint, he not only captured the absolute best parts of our wedding reception, for which we requested his services for, but also edited them in a way that accurately fit the vibe of our event. He found the right golden tones that were scattered throughout the space to come through and make my partner and I look as ethereal as we felt that night.
Our favorite photos of the night were in our getaway car - which was a vintage taxi cab from the 1960's to fit the classic vibe of our New York City wedding. Hunter captured our exit from the reception and then was very proactive by sharing so many fun ideas of how to pose us outside and inside the car. This was not an easy “ask” given the short notice and it was for only several hours. After numerous inquiries with no luck in sight, our wedding planner, Erika O’Brien, came up with the best solution. Her husband had a lot of experience with photo shoots at engagement parties and other events and was more than happy to help us out in this tough situation. We were so happy he was our photographer. Hunter took so many great pictures of friends, family, the food and decor - everything. He truly captured the fun and excitement of “the night before”. Hunter sent us a file with all of the pictures within just a few days after the wedding. What a fast turnaround and the pictures are exactly what we had hoped for.
