Hunter is the best! I could not imagine anyone else capturing my wedding day. He was super open, answering any and all questions, and understood my vision. My husband and I trusted...
him as our photographer since the first meeting. His prices are very reasonable and the full album was back pretty quickly. Not only were photos spectacular, but Hunter is so fun to be around. He almost felt like one of the guests!
Hunter was absolutely the best choice for our wedding. Not only did he do an incredible job with the photos, he also made the moments he captured in his photos so special. For our ...
individual portraits, he took us away from the crowd and created a quiet, special time for us that I will forever think of when I look at our pictures! He exceeded my expectations beyond what I had imagined. It was so helpful to be able to meet with him ahead of the wedding and to be able to share some of our ideas of what kind of pictures we wanted and what kind of style we were looking for. He managed to capture pictures of almost everyone at the wedding, which was so important to us! We would recommend Hunter for anyone looking for a wedding photographer!!
My husband and I hit the jackpot when we booked with Hunter! He is not the only the best photographer but the best person. He made the process of booking with him and planning a br...
eeze and had the BEST communication. We didn’t have to worry about a thing with him. We booked him for our engagement photos and our wedding. We were worried for our engagement photos because we didn’t know how to pose but he helped us feel like naturals and so comfortable in front of the camera. At our wedding all of our guests LOVED Hunter and how nice and professional he was but also fun to be around. Our photos came out so dreamy and show what the day was about, love and laughter. Would book Hunter again and again. Definitely recommend!!
Hunter is so talented! Initially, we hired Hunter for our engagement photos, but after seeing the photos he took, we knew Hunter was the perfect photographer for our wedding.

our engagement photos, Hunter did an amazing job of picking perfect spots at the location we chose (Fort De Soto). And he helped make the whole experience fun! My husband is not the biggest fan of taking pictures, but even he had a good time and really appreciated Hunter’s approach.
Hunter is an extremely talented photographer and knows exactly what to look for in getting the perfect shot. Not only does he have technical expertise, but his intrapersonal skills made it possible for everyone to be at ease and natural. Whereas some photographers can be pushy and rigid in their approach, Hunter was laid back and fun!
His attention to detail and his help with coordinating a day of schedule to make sure every special moment was captured. He worked around our busy lives to set up meetings to discuss timelines for our big day. This ensured that there was a photographer, either himself or the second shooter, with the bridal party so that nothing was missed.
Hunter did such a great job and my husband and I couldn’t be happier with him.
From the first meeting with Hunter, I KNEW he was going to be my wedding photographer (and I met with 10+ before him)! He was personable, enthusiastic, and genuinely excited about ...
every detail we told him about our day. As people who were planning a destination wedding in Clearwater from Chicago, he made sure he was communicative with my husband and I, making sure that EVERY detail we wanted would go off without a hitch.
He sends a comprehensive questionnaire to get a vision of your day, and is willing to meet at any time, no matter how many months out from the wedding, to make sure you get every picture you want. I gave him a shot list for the day of, and he went through and took every picture (and more!) that I wanted. I could genuinely feel his excitement to be at my wedding and that he cared about my day just as much as I did.
All of my vendors told me how much fun he was to work with, and I had SO MANY GUESTS tell me how much fun he was, even cheering him on to get to big group picture at the reception! Then after my guests saw the pictures.... they loved him even more! It's been 4 months since we got married, and I STILL cannot stop looking at my pictures every single day. I have no idea how we will choose which ones to hang up... are all of them acceptable?
if you're thinking about hiring Hunter... DO IT!!! It will be the best choice you will ever make, and you will have someone in your corner not just on your day, but for months leading up to your day and will capture it exactly how you want it to be captured.
ALSO - we hired his wife, Erika, as our day-of coordinator and it was one of the best decisions for our wedding. They make the BEST team, coordinating your timeline and making sure everything goes perfectly for you.
Thank you Hunter, we are so lucky to have had you photograph our wedding!!! I mean, just LOOK at these pics!!!
We cannot recommend Hunter highly enough. From our very first meeting, his professionalism, warmth, and genuine passion for his craft were evident. On our wedding day, he went abov...
e and beyond to ensure every special moment, big and small, was captured beautifully and effortlessly.
His calm demeanor kept us at ease throughout the day, and his meticulous attention to detail meant that nothing was overlooked. Whether it was candid moments between loved ones or the perfect sunset shot, he captured it all with an artist’s eye and an expert’s precision.
What truly set Hunter apart was his dedication to making our day as special as possible. He took the time to understand what was most important to us, and it showed in every single photo. We now have the most stunning collection of memories that we will cherish for a lifetime, all thanks to his incredible talent and hard work.
If you are looking for a photographer who is not only exceptionally skilled but also cares deeply about making your day perfect, Hunter is the one. He exceeded every expectation and gave us a gift we will treasure forever.
Hunter was an absolute joy to work with and is a super friendly person. He is welcoming to any ideas that we had throughout the entire process as well as during the wedding day. He...
wants to make sure everything is perfect while also staying on the time line. I would recommend Hunter for your wedding photographers needs!
Hunter is the best – we couldn’t be happier with our wedding & engagement photos. Hunter’s pricing is good and he clearly communicates exactly what’s included in the package. Bey...
ond the fair pricing, we chose Hunter because we felt so comfortable with him right from the start. He is a great listener, open to creative ideas, and he’s reliable – we knew we could 100% trust him for our big day. Our wedding gallery includes formal group shots, artsy portraits of the two of us, and adorable candids of our friends. He can do it all! Hunter is a true local who grew up in Tampa and knows all the best photo spots. We were impressed by how knowledgeable he was of different venues and outdoor photo locations. We highly recommend choosing Hunter as your wedding photographer! You will LOVE your photos!

ng day. Hunter is so down to earth, so invested in what he does and it shows through his work - amazing quality photos that conveyed all we ever dreamed they would. He asks specific questions to ensure he provides exactly what you’re looking for. He was well prepared, on time, and so fun to work with. Always had encouraging words to make you feel amazing and confident too! Highly recommend working with Hunter if you can! 😊
We would give hunter 100/10 if we could! Everything about working with Hunter for our wedding photography was absolutely perfect. From the very first meeting he was so friendly and...
enthusiastic about our big day. He made note of everything we wanted for pictures and his questionnaire he had us fill out was super comprehensive so every photo we wanted was on his radar. On our wedding day Hunter and his second shooter were both incredible! They took so much care of the whole bridal party and our family making sure everyone was included and having a fun time taking photos. During our couple portraits and individual portraits his directions for how to pose were super helpful and every image we got back in our gallery is beyond beautiful. Hunter and his second shooter also made us and all of our guests feel 100% comfortable. Wedding days, and especially couple portraits can be a very intimate moment and it really felt like Hunter and his team were guests who were celebrating right along with us but also capturing all the important moments! If we had to do the day all over again we would absolutely hire Hunter again! If you want a photographer who makes your wedding day fun, easy-going and captures the highest quality photos then we recommend you hire him too!
My wife Sydney and I got married in October. You mainly get compliments about your food choices / venue but the majority of compliments were about our awesome photographer Hunter (...
before we even had the photos which turned out amazing!!). Super professional, communication was excellent, and really did a great job being helpful without causing any unwarranted stress. Can’t recommend him enough!

aphed. My partner and I wanted a mix of classic portraits and more creative/candid shots and Hunter truly delivered. We received sneak peek of our shots within 24 hours and were absolutely in love with the special moments Hunter captured. We would definitely recommend Hunter to anyone looking for some stunning and memorable photos of their most important day.
Hunter is amazing! We booked him for our engagement photos and asked for funny pictures. We sent some inspiration and he delivered what we asked for and then some. For our wedding ...
we asked to have fewer posed pictures and more catching people in the moment. Every time I look at our pictures I can almost relive they say he captured it so well. Loved working with him and love his pictures 💖

y to make sure that your day is as special as it can possibly be. If i could give Hunter 10 Stars i would. HIGHLY RECOMMEND using bunter for any of your picture needs!!!!
Hunter O'Brien was the best photographer I could have asked for. I got married this past weekend and am blown away by just the sneak peeks he sent us. He was fun and professional a...
nd on top of everything he was very prepared. Me and my fiance are not really used to taking photos and were unsure of what to ask for and he had a list of photos and places he wanted to take and was quick with changes. He had a second shooter Ryan who was also fantastic and helped carry my dress around Saint. Petersburg. We had a couple meetings throughout the year leading up to the wedding to make sure he captured our vibe perfectly! We are currently living in Missouri, so getting married in Saint pete was nerve wrecking and he made the day seamless. He was worth every penny and If you are looking for a photographer you will not regret choosing him. He is very talented as the picture's I have attached show.
Hunter did an absolutely amazing job capturing our wedding!! Beginning with the first planning stages, Hunter was professional and easy to work with. Since he and his wife, Erika (...
wedding coordinator), were a team for our wedding, the details were seamlessly communicated and carried out. He somehow managed to be in all the right places to capture candid moments (while being the lone photographer without any second shooters). He also coordinated many large group photos with ease. His easy-going personality made us all feel comfortable in front of the camera! We LOVE our final photos!! Hunter executed beautifully, all while being a joy to work with. We cannot recommend him enough!
I can't say enough great things about Hunter. From the first time we spoke to him, until the very end of the wedding night, he was kind, gracious, helpful, and super nice to every ...
one of our guests. I would recommend Hunter a thousand times over. His photos are best described as picture perfect. We could not have asked for better pictures. He was smiling and happy the entire time at the wedding and you could tell that he genuinely loves his job and what he offers to couples. He also has a way of making you feel comfortable taking the photos. I myself hate getting my pictures taken. But with Hunter, he just had a way about him that made you feel like it was just two friends hanging out and taking pictures. If you are reading this review, book Hunter for your wedding. I can guarantee you, you will not be disappointed.
Working with Hunter for our engagement photo shoot was an amazing experience from beginning to end. He was warm, professional, and engaged (pun intended) and made us feel comfortab...
le in front of the camera. He came prepared with many ideas but was open to anything we wanted to try. He returned our photos quite promptly (in just one week!) and I was floored by the result. The quality of his work shows his skill, and he captured our love more deeply than I could have expected.
Why should you book Hunter for your upcoming engagement, wedding, any other reason photo session? Well first, and in my experience/opinion most importantly, Hunter is a total joy t...
o work with. His smile is infectious and his encouragement allows those whose photo he is capturing give the very best of themselves, as he sets a positive and helpful tone by giving good guidance for pictures (because some people totally scramble when a camera is pointed at them). From a tactical standpoint, he not only captured the absolute best parts of our wedding reception, for which we requested his services for, but also edited them in a way that accurately fit the vibe of our event. He found the right golden tones that were scattered throughout the space to come through and make my partner and I look as ethereal as we felt that night.
Our favorite photos of the night were in our getaway car - which was a vintage taxi cab from the 1960's to fit the classic vibe of our New York City wedding. Hunter captured our exit from the reception and then was very proactive by sharing so many fun ideas of how to pose us outside and inside the car. Thanks to his creativity and eye for capturing that natural yet cinematic love, we now have so many treasured photos now to remember from one of the most important nights of our life. Thank you, Hunter!
We had a wonderful experience working with Hunter O’Brien! It all started when two weeks before our son and future daughter-in-law’s wedding weekend, my husband suggested to our we...
dding planner that we have a photographer at the Welcome Party. We wanted someone who would take fun and candid photos of our guests at the party which was held in the Birchwood Hotel ballroom. This was not an easy “ask” given the short notice and it was for only several hours. After numerous inquiries with no luck in sight, our wedding planner, Erika O’Brien, came up with the best solution. Her husband had a lot of experience with photo shoots at engagement parties and other events and was more than happy to help us out in this tough situation. We were so happy he was our photographer. Hunter took so many great pictures of friends, family, the food and decor - everything. He truly captured the fun and excitement of “the night before”. Hunter sent us a file with all of the pictures within just a few days after the wedding. What a fast turnaround and the pictures are exactly what we had hoped for. Hunter, thank you for coming to the rescue and providing such a quality experience. We highly recommend Hunter for your photography needs!

Not only is Hunter a great photographer, but he is a professional with his work. He arrived well prepared for the day and efficiently got us our digital copies.

a somewhat awkward situation (taking photos with your spouse can be a strange feeling, if you haven’t done photos yet you will understand what I mean once you do), he was so nice and professional, and captured us beautifully! The photos came out amazing! I can’t say more great things about the experience and how calm, inviting, and so very easy Hunter made it. Thank you for working with us!
