Facilities and Capacity
Hunter’s Green Country Club boasts a clubhouse that blends Southern comforts with private club-style panache. This facility is located within a wildlife conservatory and is thus full of greenery and natural splendors. Couples can take advantage of a variety of outdoor ceremony sites, most notably at the elegant pergola which overlooks Lake Whittemore. Indoor receptions can be held in the Grand Ballroom, which features floor-to-ceiling windows that afford panoramic views of the surrounding fairways and trees.
This venue provides excellent photo opportunities on the lawn, by the lakes, among the fairways, on a wooden bridge that has a rustic sensibility, or at the impressive entrance to the clubhouse itself. Inside the clubhouse, couples can take photos in the foreground of a handsome brick-made hearth surmounted by an impressive gold emblem.
Hunter’s Green Country Club’s amenities include tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Private get-ready rooms, including a luxury suite, are available for pre-ceremony preparations.

All and all this was a great place to get married and my husband and I are very happy with how our day turned out. I do have pros and cons related to the venue which can be seen be...
low.
Pros:
- has different space for each event (ceremony, cocktail hr, reception) breaking each off from eachother and creating a more luxurious feel.
- beautiful grounds and great photo op areas - extra points for getting to use a golf cart of theirs to bring us all around the different spots.
- tasting included, which is nice because it helps you pick your menu and try things before the big day.
- Bridal suite available at sister property for small upgrade fee ($99) and it is HUGE. Dated but HUGE and worth it.
Cons:
- Probably standard across venues these days, but be prepared to be nickel and dimed for everything. (Example: signature drink cost $50 even though you have an open bar??)
- Things are constantly changing. Read every word of your contract, because once it’s signed, that is your only source of truth.
- Shared locker room with members who are golfing, which is understandable- but you’ve paid substantial $$ to rent the facility for the night. It would be nice to have a separated area. Same goes for not having a designated area for bride and groom to have a separate moment after the ceremony, no designated space for that.
- it’s worth it to note that the food didn’t taste the same as the tasting, and the quality wasn’t the same. It was edible but not the same quality.
