Ultimately, once a more stable person became our event coordinator, planning details got back on track. On the day of our wedding and at the rehearsal, Alison was very helpful in managing the vendors and keeping everyone moving and grooving to get through the day. The space was beautiful, and the staff was accommodating and helpful. Our guests still tell us how beautiful they found the gardens and golf course. Food was tasty with good portions, and the bartenders knew their stuff. In all, while it was tough getting there, we loved our wedding at HVCC.

tarting the day after Thanksgiving. It is also so convenient to have everything (getting ready, ceremony and reception) in one location. The bridal suite and card room upstairs were perfect for my large bridal party and the guys were able to use the golf simulator downstairs for a few hours in the morning and then had their own private room to get ready and hang out. We ended up having about 160 guests, which was the perfect number for the ballroom to ensure we had a big dance floor. Allison, the Events Director, was great to work with and made me feel so comfortable after our final details meeting that everything was going to be handled the day of. She kept us on schedule and kept everything running smoothly. Our vision was to have the ceremony outside in the courtyard using the Christmas tree as our altar/backdrop. It ended up torrentially downpouring all morning into the afternoon. The easy thing would have been to move the ceremony inside, but Allison knew how much it meant to us to have it outside, so as soon as it stopped raining, the staff kicked it into high gear to get everything set up in time. It honestly turned out better than we ever imagined! All of the food was amazing, the bartenders were engaging and kept the drinks flowing all night for our guests, the Banquet Manager was wonderful, and the rest of the staff was very professional and helpful. It was the best night and we definitely recommend using HVCC as your venue!

ds were a beautiful backdrop for photos, and we loved that every event of the day was in a different setting - ceremony in the courtyard, cocktail hour on the balcony, and reception in the ballroom. The food and drinks were great, and the entire team was extremely attentive, polite and friendly and kept the day running smoothly. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and we are so happy that we chose HVCC as our venue!

(Which is not the employees fault) When my bridal party arrived in the morning to get ready at the venue, the bridal suite was dirty with trash over flowing from the previous wedding. The wedding coordinator was Mia most of the wedding day. When guests were arriving to the venue there was no one there to greet them inside or outside so guests were just kind of wandering around the country club. A lot of guests saw the bride before the ceremony because of this. The food itself, desserts, and drinks were very good. Overall, I would not recommend this venue.

the Club fit this perfectly for us. We had hoped to have our ceremony outside in the front garden, but it rained so we hosted in the ballroom. It was stunning to say the least as they had just renovated the entire wing of the event space. We were even lucky enough to use the Chiavari chairs as they purchased them for the club vs us renting from them. Again with the rain, we appreciated the quick switch by the staff and florists to set everything up for our ceremony. Once we said I Dos, it was time to celebrate with everyone! The staff flipped our event space as we enjoyed cocktail hour and our DJ in the loft area so we had more dance floor. Simply beautiful. -ORGANIZATION- Originally, we worked with Danielle Skinner for setting up our big day. She was on top of every detail from food, vendors, and even décor. Danielle was full of insight and wonderful ideas. She event laid out for the entire planning process with a timeline to get everything we wanted done in a timely manner. Unfortunately, Danielle left HVCC right before our wedding date to pursue her own event company. Luckily, we asked her to continue to work with us and she became somewhat our liaison with the new Event Director (*lack of communication). We did meet the new Director briefly at our tasting, yet that was the most communication we had with her. I think she showed for a moment on our actual day- Little odd as we thought she would have been more involved, but everything was great thanks to Danielle! -FOOD- The food at our tasting was exceptional. However, at our actual wedding it was not the same quality which is to be expected as the food was made for a larger party than the 6 of us (*fee for after 4 people... In my opinion, should be able to include both parents = 6 ). Our meals were cold, but that could have been because we were doing our special dances so they didn't retain heat. Would've been nice if they were covered for us. -SERVICE- The staff for the day was awesome! They made sure everyone had their food, drinks, and a great time. The Banquet Manager was very attentive and kind. He checked in with my husband and I several times throughout the night. -OVERALL- It was an amazing day full of love and celebration for all our family and friends! It was perfectly imperfect... all the way to my husband having two left shoes!

The staff really makes your experience that much better, Maggie in particular. She handled every question, comment, and situation with ease. Anything we needed or if something wasn’t right, Maggie was on it! Even down to Maggie on her hands and knees cleaning my dress after someone stepped on it with their muddy footprint before the ceremony started. We had nothing to worry about that day except getting married, which is a huge relief! We are more than grateful for the amazing staff who made our day even more perfect. We fell in love with HVCC the moment we visited and are so grateful our date was available. Our day was beyond perfect and we still have people commenting on how amazing our venue was. We hope anyone who decides to get married at HVCC has just as an amazing experience!

crab cake. Both unbelievable. The bartenders were the best I’ve ever seen an a wedding. The drinks were made perfectly, and tasted amazing. They were so friendly and fun and received so many compliments on the bartenders and waitstaff. They truly catered to us. The grounds were beautiful. And lastly - Maggie. I am so impressed by her. She was our wedding coordinator and made everything clear and easy from start to finished. She is very professionally, nice, and makes everything go your way. I gave her very specific instructions on set up, timeline, etc. and everything was followed perfectly. She did a great job setting up the day of and I didn’t even have to think about anything for a second. She helped bustle my dress, helped my dress and veil walking down the aisle and made everything so smooth. She is definitely one that makes HVCC a great as it is. Would recommend to anyone.

We loved the space for the DJ up above the crowd! Finally, working with Maggie and the team at HVCC was enjoyable and simple. It was exactly what we wanted and would do the exact same thing again :)

She was so easy to work with by the end of our event it truly felt more like a friendship then a business transaction. This location is an excellent pick for anyone looking to have their wedding in the Philadelphia area without being directly in the hustle and bustle of the city. I guarantee if you check this place out it will be hard to imagine having your event anywhere else.

The food was great and we even had one guest who is a member at another well-known club in the area say to us, “That wedding was spectacular and the food was awesome. HVCC is really nice!” I genuinely cannot recommend HVCC enough.

She is your contact at the country club and also serves as your day of coordinator. She has excellent recommendations for the rest of your vendors and she keeps everything incredibly organized. We live in Florida and planned everything from out of state so having someone who could give recommendations was essential. We absolutely loved everything about this venue and especially Maggie!

Last but not least...the food. It was AMAZING. We wanted to pick a venue with not only amazing views and experience but also great food. We have been to weddings were the place was great but the food quality did not deliver. This is not the case with HVCC, from the cocktail hour to the dinner, the food was delicious with gorgeous presentations. I would want to go back just to eat there again because it was that good. All the staff and waiters were a pleasure to work with and were attentive to the needs of the guests at all times. Thank you HVCC for giving us the wedding of our dreams. This was an unforgettable experience thanks to Maggie and the team.

The one amazing thing about HVCC was that they allowed us to cater our own traditional food, and for us, that was icing on the cake! Maggie and staff were extremely accommodating in this regard and worked very well with our caterer and all our vendors. Everything on our wedding day went super smooth and we could not have asked for anything more. Huntingdon Valley Country Club was our perfect venue; we hope it is for you as well.

I felt that i had overall been a very calm bride, then out of nowhere on the day of, i became a nervous wreck and my anxiety went for a zero to Ten within the first 2 hours of us getting ready. I cant thank Maggie enough for everything she did that day. She could tell i was stressed out and pretty much saved the day. She directed the video/photographer on where to go for the best shots. She even held my dress while i walked around. I felt like she was right beside me whenever i needed something, but somehow was also everywhere else to make sure escort cards, centerpieces and decorations were put together to the way i wanted them. The woman is a superhero i swear. The staff that day was also incredible. So polite to my guests. Even though we are not members, they made us feel like we were. I wish i could give more than 5 stars. The food was also incredible. We still have guests talking about it. It was an amazing day and thats all thanks to Maggie and her Team.

Maggie worked with us right up until the two days before when we had last minute cancellations. There was NO surprise costs!!

The staff made sure that me and my groom always had a drink in front of us, and served food exactly according to our own timeline. They even brought us a special plate of all our hors'dourves so we could get a taste it all (how often do you hear couples saying they didn't get a chance to eat or enjoy their selections?? They made sure that didn't happen to us!!!) After looking at venues, we started to feel like everywhere looked the same. We were so lucky to find HVCC. The view was spectacular, both we and our guests had some fantastic photo ops. Inside the ballroom, the fireplace, large windows, and beautiful ceiling made for an elegant and unique venue that was definitely a cut above the rest! We also thought that the price was very fair. As the bar manager, he took the reins once the reception began. He ensured the bride and groom-along with everyone else- were having the time of their lives! The waitstaff was also excellent. My guests raved about how friendly they all were throughout the night. I could go on and on! The receptionist, Nadia, helped me make signs in the morning before our wedding. At the end of the night, Tori, helped me carry my things from the bridal suite. It floors me how much they did for us-from the grand gestures to the tiniest details. I appreciated all of it. The club itself is simply grand. It offers several spaces for various events. We had our ceremony outdoors in the beautiful courtyard framed by the regal gates. Luckily, it was shaded so even in August, my guests didn't suffer. We proceeded through the stately building to the terrace overlooking the perfectly manicured golf course. Gorg-as the kids say! For the reception, we celebrated in the large ballroom with the vaulted ceilings, wood floors and lovely fireplace. It doesn't need a whole lot to enhance its beauty. Just add a few centerpieces, and the place is perfect. Throughout the night, my guests would walk through the various spaces and comment to me about how perfectly comfortable and beautiful everything was. I couldn't agree more! Thanks to Carol and the staff at HVCC!

I chose to have my wedding in July and the trees, grass and flowers were in full bloom and vibrant colors. There are more places for pictures than you could possibly have time to get around to, so you can't go wrong with any spot you choose. The ceremony space in the courtyard is beautiful and is set up so well by all of the staff. The terrace where cocktail hour is help has the most spectacular view and awesome decor. The ballroom doesn't need much as it is beautiful on its own with it's vaulted ceilings and grand fireplace. When I say I couldn't be happier, I truly mean it. I would highly recommend HVCC to anyone and everyone, there really is no other place that would have been the right fit, and felt as if it were "THE ONE" Thank you HVCC!!

You feel like this estate is your home for the day....it does not feel like a commercial venue and the members of HVCC couldn't be nicer. We have to give our sincere thanks to Carol Keene for a job well done. Her guidance and expertise coordinating both the wedding and the reception was really the key to the most fun and awesome wedding ever. When you meet Carol you know at once she loves what she does.
