HV Officiants - Hudson Valley Officiants

Rev. Louis and his team provided the best services for our wedding we could’ve asked for. From planning to execution, everything went very smoothly. He created and officiated a ceremony that captured the love my husband and I have in our relationship perfectly. We are not local to the Hudson Valley area, so though we did not meet in person until the wedding day, Rev. Louis was able to get to know us very well during our over-the-phone meetings and understand what we wanted for our ceremony. Our goal was to find an officiant who could create a ceremony that merged our religious and non-religious backgrounds, while highlighting the personal aspects of our relationship. The ceremony he created for us perfectly captured those ideas; he structured the ceremony such that between the religious elements, he could include personal anecdotes and inject a little humor at the right moments, which made our ceremony feel perfectly fit to us as a couple. He had a pre-determined structure in the process of creating the ceremony, which was really comforting as we felt like looking for a non-traditional ceremony/officiant left a lot up to us to figure out. He recommended a variety of different elements to include in the ceremony throughout the planning stage of the process, some of which we ended up including that we never would’ve thought of otherwise, and became some of the most memorable, heartfelt parts of the ceremony. He also informed us on the day-of that he was dealing with a health issue, but he was well enough to show up for our big day with a smile on his face and a fellow officiant on hand in case he was unable to officiate for us. This was above and beyond what we expected; his commitment and organization to ensure a back-up plan was in place was a very reassuring certainty on a day full of variables and potential for things not to go as planned. He performed the ceremony so well; he had lots of positive energy and liveliness in his voice when speaking about the two of us that was very sincere. Many of our wedding guests came up to both Rev. Louis and us to share how beautiful they thought the ceremony was. He was very helpful too when it came to the various cues for us to walk to a certain spot or respond at the right time. He gave little nods and whispers to us, which was very reassuring to us both, being so nervous in the moment. I felt as though even if the worst case scenario happened and my mind went completely blank, he could navigate the situation without anyone noticing things weren’t going to plan (thankfully that did not happen, but the feeling of security in the chance it could’ve was very valuable). I could not recommend someone more highly than Rev. Louis to another couple as their wedding officiant. His dedication and ability to connect everything one could want together to create a beautifully meaningful and personal ceremony was beyond my expectations, and made our wedding ceremony unforgettable.

From the very beginning, our officiant made the entire process feel personal, organized, and stress-free. They took the time to truly get to know us as a couple and created a ceremony that felt authentic, heartfelt, and completely tailored to our relationship. On the wedding day, they spoke beautifully and confidently, keeping the ceremony flowing naturally while still making it emotional, meaningful, and even fun at times. So many of our guests came up to us afterward saying how much they loved the ceremony and how perfectly it reflected who we are as a couple. Their professionalism, communication, and calming presence throughout the entire process were absolutely incredible. We truly could not have asked for a better person to marry us, and we would recommend them to anyone looking for an officiant who genuinely cares about making your day special.
