Eileen, our venue coordinator, was an absolute joy to work with. She was always quick to respond, open to our ideas, and genuinely invested in helping us bring the couple’s vision to life. As a wedding planner, I work with a lot of venues, and it’s always such a breath of fresh air when the venue team collaborates closely with planners. Eileen was a true partner from beginning to end.
On the event day itself, Miguel and Jude were fantastic. They ensured everything ran smoothly behind the scenes and made sure the evening flowed without a hitch.
It was truly a team effort, and I’m so appreciative of the professionalism and care shown throughout the planning process and on the day of the wedding. When planners and venue teams work hand in hand, the magic really happens—and this one was definitely a celebration we won’t forget!

A little backstory... my fiancé and I were initially set on having a private, courthouse ceremony and an after-party celebration. We toured the Hyatt House and thought the Terrace-...
level space was perfect, with the sweeping views of the NYC skyline and swanky bar.
Well, lo and behold, our plans changed... we ended up wanting the full ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and after-party -- and Eileen and the Hyatt House team made it happen!
From the countless floorplan requests (sorry, Eileen!) to the many questions, and MANY changes we had leading up to our big day -- Eileen made it happen with a smile. She catered to our every need and detail, helped to coordinate with other vendors, to ensure our day was seamless.
First off, the space is GORGEOUS. We lucked out with amazing weather and were able to open the windows in the Terrace East space (our dance floor), which was a huge wow factor for guests! The food was AMAZING and our guests are still raving about the steak at the buffet and the dumplings at cocktail hour. The staff was so attentive on the day of, ensuring my husband and I had everything we needed. We received wedding treats to our hotel room that night, courtesy of Eileen.
The month leading up to our big day, Eileen was on top of everything. She sent us questionnaires, itineraries, and detail lists to ensure that everything ran smoothly -- and that it did! Our wedding turned out so much more beautifully that we could have imagined. When I say we redesigned the space, I mean we really redesigned it -- and Eileen made that happen!
Not only was the space gorgeous and upscale (one of my guests said they felt like they were at a high society party), the convenience of having everything in the same place on the day of was amazing. Our guests were able to party and then head to their rooms just a few floors away.
While WE may not have known what we wanted for our wedding initially, we know we made the best decision in choosing Hyatt House!

dinner for all of our guests who were staying the night before and it was the best time of our lives!! The food/ drinks were amazing and all of our guests had an amazing time! I will definitely return back here anytime I am in the area!
