I spent a lot of money on items to go in gift bags for our guests because they said they were "happy to pass then out upon check in" and they "do that every weekend." About 2 or 3...
of my guests received the bags and no one else did.
There were also a lot of issues with my guests booking the hotel rooms from the block and employees not knowing how to resolve it. This was the only part of my wedding that I was unhappy with. I would not recommend them for wedding accommodations.
I would NOT recommend the Hyatt Place for any wedding party. We used them for our rehearsal dinner, which was nice, but they qouted us three free rooms based on how many guests we ...
had staying (Over 75 nights from all of our geusts combined!) and they charged 2 of the 3 rooms. When we called to get the charges taken off they acted like we never had that arrangement and were very rude. It took 12 days for the charges to finally get removed. Also, the wedding rate was only $2 cheaper than what you can find for that exact hotel on Travelocity. I would highly recommend going somewhere else!
People loved Graeter's next door and the rooms.
