Then I put her to the ultimate test to meet my fiancé, my fiancé love her and it was a done deal. During the reception everything ran smoothly. Arturo the appointed person in charge during the event was on it all night, he never missed a beat and was constantly checking on me and my bride. The waiters and staff we ridiculously awesome they were always very attentive to my guest needs. I received so many compliments on them that night and the following days. Overall the experience was perfect!!!!! The only downfall was the food was not exactly what we order the salad was different the portions were not as big as I assume however it tasted great and everyone love it. e. This hotel is fairly new, I would say maybe 3-5 years old. Everything still looks brand new! The hall is designed contemporary and very spacious. We had 300 guests for our events and we still had room for at least 5 more tables.
Holly Jordan, the hotel coordinator is by far one of the best people to work with. She was running 3 people's job at once and still had time to coordinate our wedding. I was with Holly from the beginning to the end. Anything I pretty much asked for was given with no hesitation or questions. The only responses were, "that should be no problem" or "I'll get right on it".
I shopped around 10-15 different hotels before I came across the Hyatt Place Garland, and trust me when I say no one had the enthusiasm, courtesy, and dedication that Holly had. I am not lying when I say she will behind over backwards to help you with anything. All my family and friends loved the service. Please don't waste your time looking for places that will cost you 30 to 50k just for the hall. Just check this place out, ask for Holly and trust me, you'll be in good hands.

Hyatt Place was perfect!!! Holly, the Director of Catering, felt like family and made the experience a happy and calm one, even for mother of the bride. Her team set the room up and all the DIY details just like we wanted with no need of help from the wedding party on the day of! So we could just focus on enjoying the wonderful day! Compared to our larger, more costly venue for the Hindu festivities, working with Holly and Hyatt Place was a more pleasant and easy-going experience.

It was such a pleasure to work with her as she replied to all my emails/phone calls throughout the year promptly! The staff was very accommodating the day of the wedding & were very efficient in setting up for the reception. Any minor changes we needed to make were done quickly & with a smile. It definitely eased any worries & stress I had that day.! Needless to say, my daughter's wedding was beautiful & I was actually able to enjoy the evening knowing we were well taken care of. When we taste tested the food she made sure the Red Carpet was laid out for us. We actually met the chef who prepared our food and we were able to make any changes and updates to our dishes.
The only issue I had was the fact that I had ordered multiple rooms for my bridesmaids who were coming out of town and when we went to check in the rooms had never been saved in the system. It was a little bit of a hassle because I had reserved 5 rooms. That is the last thing a Bride wants to deal with is rooms that aren't ready.
Other than that food was awesome -- people still comment on the sweet mashed potatoes!

The venue came with all of the amenities for an elegant reception. The room was decorated beautifully with flowers and the lighting just added the extra touch. Our music entertainment (DJ service) was outstanding and they even provided lighting and MC services...the music made the party! The menu was delicious and all of our guests were simply raving about its taste, quality and yes it was served hot! The facility provided linen choices, vases and setup of the wedding reception hall in a most elegant fashion. Holly coordinated with my cake, flower and entertainment vendors professionally and removed all stress from us. Our guests only had great things to say about the friendly and cozy atmosphere of the reception hall and having booked over 40+ rooms for family and friends, the Hyatt Place at Firewheel provided a central location for everyone to mix and mingle, before, during and after the wedding events during the weekend, allowing family to gather in one central location. The reception/front desk staff were excellent and accommodating to all of our guests and that was a welcomed experience. There were restaurants and shopping within a very short driving distance and it was very close to our church where we held the wedding ceremony. Holly even arranged for the Hyatt Place shuttle to transport the bridesmaids from the hotel to the church for photos before the wedding. It was the little things that meant so much! It's been six(6) months, and it seems like yesterday...the memories are all very positive...because Holly removed the stress for us and our families. ich is very important considering most of us work and are not able to get out of work early!! Throughout the whole planning process, which started a year ago, Holly and I had great communication in regards to the reception. By the end of the process, it felt like Rick and I gained another friend. That is how Holly is. You are not just another bride and groom for her. She actually sits down with you or through emails and you get to know each other pretty well, at least, in my case, that is what happened. On our wedding day, Holly took care of everything and made our day stress-free! The food will blow your mind! We were told that the hotel is owned by 3 chefs, so you know what that means!! Food quality and presentation is top-notch! The staff did a great job as well; whatever Rick and I needed, they gave to us. This goes the same for whatever our guests needed! The only negative thing I can say is that our complimentary changing room was not ready when we arrived at the hotel to rest and freshen up. However, it was only a minor mix-up and I would not deduct points from them. Rick and I are very happy with the outcome of the reception and we hope that future brides and grooms choose this place for their reception. You won't regret it! =D

ing a wedding is a stressful activity but so much stress was alievated by Holly and her team taking care of so much for me. They were fantastic! They went above and beyond to make our wedding day as smooth as possible. I was given a lot of information as far as the packages they offered but they were able to customize everything to fit our needs and budget. I was so nervous as to how everything would turn out on our wedding day but I couldn't have been happier. There are venues that I have seen that charge so many hidden fees or fees for additional hours. The Hyatt Place offered flexibility. I mean who knows exactly what time a reception will end? They don't charge you ridiculous amounts. They are flexible and very fair.
I would highly recommend this place to any bride that is looking for a place that is beautiful and that will treat you like a very important bride.

was definitely on the ball. She helped with most of the organization and recommendations. Without her, our stress levels would have been much higher. And she knows her stuff. If she says 2 kegs will be enough, take her advise! Her responses were always very direct and detailed. If you asked, she would let you know if it was possible and even suggest other ideas. Even with the request for 3 cake tables, she didn’t blink an eye just told us that we would have it. And sure enough it was there on the day of the wedding. She also told us about the storage place “bridal room” that we could use to store our stuff. It was large enough to fit everything that we brought and more and it was lockable.
The Food. Our dinner was wonderfully tasty, hot and plated well. Our menu choice was Grilled Romaine Hearts with Fried Polenta Crisp, Red & Yellow Tomato Salpicon and Chipotle Caesar Dressing, Chipotle Honey Fire Roasted Breast of Chicken with Cilantro Sour Cream, Herb Roasted Beef Tenderloin, Garlic Whipped Potatoes Crowns, Fire Roasted Vegetables, Tea and Water, Assorted Rolls and Flavored Butters
The service was incredible and everyone at the Hyatt was so wonderful to us, seeing to our needs and to the needs of our guests. There was little touches of wonderful everywhere. They put out our favors onto the tables. They took our colored napkins and wrapped them around a bottle of Champagne for us to toast with and placed it on the cake table. They had water in vases for my and my bridesmaid’s flowers sitting at the table ready for us. It was wonderful to have a bartender in the room and immediately outside the room so the lines were never too long for guests. They took care over everything. The lighting was fantastic and the set up was wonderful both in the reception room and outside where people mingled getting pictures at a photobooth and/or getting a drink.
Our guests complimented us several times on the venue, the ease in finding the hotel off the interstate, the fact that they could go to their hotel rooms after the reception, the richness and details of everything. The hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate everyone. The front desk was super helpful when I needed to get directions to people and asked them to hold the directions if anyone needed them. They also let the guests quietly meet for group get-togethers in their breakfast dining area at night.
The facilities are new and look new. No wear and tear. Everything was clean and a bit modern looking. Decorations are gorgeous and our photographers took several pictures of us before the reception using the hotel’s décor…really nice. Bathrooms were large and clean and I had no problems getting around in my dress.
Its a great place for a reception and we would highly recommend it and the people who staff it. Yeah, Hyatt Place Garland/Dallas.
