- Lisa EustaceCatering & Event ManagerI have always been someone who notices the details, thinks ahead, and wants people to feel genuinely cared for. Hospitality came naturally to me because I love creating experiences that feel organized, personal, and meaningful, whether it is a wedding, meeting, celebration, or intimate gathering. My background in Food & Beverage, event operations, wedding planning, and creative design has shaped the way I approach events. I understand both the guest experience and the behind-the-scenes work it takes to bring everything together. I believe the best events come from strong communication, genuine care, and attention to the details that matter most. For me, hospitality is about more than service. It is about creating trust and making every client and guest feel welcomed from beginning to end. As Catering & Event Manager at Hyatt Place Jacksonville/St. Johns Town Center, I enjoy helping clients turn ideas, questions, and moving pieces into a clear and thoughtful plan. I love learning what matters most to each client and helping create events that feel smooth, welcoming, and true to them.

- Laurice C. PaoliniAssistant General ManagerBorn and raised in the Philippines, hospitality has always been part of who I am. I began my career back home, earning a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, and later came to the U.S. as a J1 intern, training in Food & Beverage. I’ve gained experience across multiple departments, including accounting and the front desk, which prepared me to now oversee the hotel’s operations. Every role shaped the leader I am today. For me, great leadership starts with empowering and supporting the team. When associates feel motivated and valued, that energy reflects in the service we provide to guests. I also love to share a warm smile that brightens the day. Detail-oriented and focused on step-by-step guidance, I lead by example with a “make things happen” mentality. If you’re looking for a stay that feels welcoming, effortless, and thoughtfully cared for, my team and I are here to make your experience seamless, memorable, and enjoyable.

My stay at the Hyatt Place Jacksonville during our Y Leaders trip was a great experience from start to finish. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location with tons of restaurants and stores nearby, which made everything super c...
onvenient. The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable, and everything felt well taken care of. One of the best parts of staying here was how close it was to everything. We walked around the mall and checked out a bunch of spots like Alo, Auntie Anne’s, Lululemon, and plenty more. It made the trip fun and convenient since everything we needed was right there.Overall, this hotel was a perfect fit for our Y Leaders trip — clean, safe, and in an amazing location. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Jacksonville.

We are Marriott Bonvoy members but here with a sports team event and received a group rate. We were pretty impressed, bang for buck it's a pretty good place to stay. Service could be a bit better (ran out of towels one night) but the rooms were...
comfortable and the place was clean plus a free breakfast. A ton of places to shop and eat in the area.

The location and pool are both good. However, the room we had on the first floor had a moldy/musty smell, it was the worst in the bathroom, I think there may have been water damage at some point or just poor humidity control. The furniture was ...
outdated and it just felt overall icky. We decided to drive home instead of spend the night so we checked out early. I had mentioned the smell to the girl at the front desk so that they could improve but all she said was “ok”. She obviously didn’t want to be there lol. Anyways, we stop in Jacksonville a lot and will definitely not come back.

This was probably the worst Hyatt place I’ve ever stayed in . I booked two sep rooms in which both had issues . The first room 438 had a disgusting moldy smell - and mold visible in the bathroom - dirty blankets - dirty carpet - and a burnt o...
ut light in the shower . I contacted the front desk around 11PM because we didn’t check in until around 10PM - they said there was nothing they could do about it basically so we had to shower in a dark room . The other room 411 the AC was set to 64 anytime you try to raise the temp it automatically turns on the heat and there’s nothing you can do to stop it unless you keep the air set at 64 which is freezing - cool setting only turned on at 64 degrees - otherwise you’ll sweat to death with the heat on in Florida . I’ve never had any thermostat do that not even in my own home or any hotel I’ve stayed in and when i addressed it that night the front desk said there’s not much we can do just run the heat - sorry no I’m not okay with getting sick between freezing temps and Heat blowing in my face with dust and god knows what else in Florida heat . Are you serious ? So this morning upon check out i approached the front desk and said I have a complaint - the so called front office manager who I don’t know he is even a manager was very dismissive - rude - and talked over me and then asked me if he could speak after basically dismissing all of my VALID complaints and it seems I’m not the first nor the last to complain about these same issues per the reviews . He had zero empathy - customer service - or any regard to offer any credit or anything - not only was it one room it was both - we woke up super congested from the nasty AC and mold. When I asked for his business card he gave me a blank one with no name on it and no email - and we had to go back in there and have another team member give us his card . I will be calling corporate and making a formal complaint not only about this filthy property but the staff they have hired . You’re in hospitality the least you could do is be hospitable and not dismiss valid complaints and concerns from your guests - esp when it comes to your faulty Ac units and mold infested rooms . Hire better team members - and inspect your rooms before handing them off to the next guest like burnt out light bulbs - AC units that don’t work properly and mold infestations . Again they did nothing to ease my frustration and all have the same attitude - I’d love
To see their frustration if they were the ones staying there as guests . By the way this hotel looks nothing like the pictures advertised it needs a major re-model from the inside AC units to the mold to the floors - everything . First and last time staying there .
