We got married in June 2024 at the Hyatt with about 250 guests. The Hyatt team was spectacular and did an amazing job working with us from start to finish. Ashlynn was especially g...
reat from the first tour of the space to signing the contract to setting up the space, responding to wedding day challenges, and keeping everyone on schedule. The food was excellent, the space was beautiful, and the location was central and allowed us to have our ceremony off-site and take pictures in the park. We were the only wedding that weekend, and the Hyatt has one main ballroom so it is unlikely to have two weddings occuring at the same time. We had cocktail hour between the patio and Adrienne salon and were then able to access the patio throughout the reception. We were able to get ready in the presidential suite AND executive suite the morning of which was ideal and we had a great catered lunch for the bridal party. The suites have beautiful views of the city, and the larger presidential suite can fit even twenty people getting ready. The Hyatt was flexible and responsive to our requests to make the day unique and specific to us. Every small mention of an idea was met with Ashlynn taking a note down and confirming with her staff on if they could make it into a reality–most of the time the answer was a yes! Staff introduced themselves and made sure we could contact them throughout the day including Ashlynn and Peter which we really appreciated. Day-of, the groom even had a wardrobe malfunction which was helped by a staff member rushing to Macy’s–the level of care was so high that we felt like the top priority of the weekend. Ashlynn also worked closely with all of our external vendors so we could enjoy the day. The only criticisms we have are some billing confusions that could have left us with a higher payment, some back-and-forth with confirming rooms in the system, and confusion around valet parking. All three of those ended up being non-issues, but they caused some friction with the planning process. Getting married at the Hyatt was the best decision we could have made. The location, the food, the ballroom, and most importantly Ashlynn made our weekend so special.
We were skeptical about having our wedding at a venue that services more corporate events, but the team at Hyatt Regency Boston absolutely knocked it out of the park. We had our NY...
E wedding here, which was a convenient location for local and out of state guests. We also loved the convenience of our guests being able to take the elevators upstairs at the end of the celebrations. The food was delicious, the night flowed perfectly, and the venue accommodated all of our requests. At the end of the night, we found slices of wedding cake and champagne in our suite which was so appreciated. We worked with Carlos and Ashlynn. Carlos first sold us on the venue, and Ashlynn delivered on the details. She walked us through the process and ensured that we stuck to the timeline of the evening. We would recommend this venue to anyone looking for convenience, location, and modern accommodations.
Alexa Provenzano was our wedding planner and each time we met with her, she was always just so sweet and accommodating. In fact, out of all the venues we visited, Alexa and Hyatt ...
Regency was the most attentive and accommodating and ultimately, we decided to go with the venue because we were so impressed with their efforts.
Having Alexa was a lifesaver. She was always available. i would email her at midnight and get a response 30 mins later. I’ve even emailed her once during her vacation and gotten a response right away. It didn’t matter how random or annoying my question was, she responded. I once asked her the specific dimensions of a bar area in the foyer and she hand drew out the area and dimensions for me on paper.
Even though I literally revised my final guestlist and table seating 4x (a few days before my wedding), she was totally cool and rolled with it.
It’s all these little efforts that really stood out to us.
I had originally wanted to hire a Day of Coordinator to assist but ultimately didn’t (due to cost) and I’m so relieved I didn’t as it would have been totally unnecessary.
The Hyatt really rolled out their VIP services for us.
The bridal suite was great. It had an outdoor balcony and the hotel delivered champagne and pastries the morning of the wedding to us. After the wedding, we returned to our room with more champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.
The best part of the entire wedding was the food. OMG the food was AMAZING and endless. All my guests raved about how good and plentiful the food was.
The Adrienne Salon and the Ballroom is gorgeous. The Ballroom had these beautiful chandeliers and wonderful tall windows and an outside patio. We loved how the sunlight streamed in through the windows during early evening.
I am so thankful for the wonderful job that Alexa and the Hyatt Regency did. I totally recommend them.
Fantastic hotel for wedding guests. Booked a block of 50 rooms at the Hyatt for our wedding in August 2014. Also had a welcome reception there the night before and a brunch there t...
he day after our wedding, both on the outdoor terrace.
Everyone loved the Hyatt. Food was great. Atmosphere on the terrace was great. One of the few outdoor venues in downtown Boston. Staff, including the front desk staff and wait staff, were very helpful both in planning and during the evening. Room prices were very competitive for downtown Boston. Recommendation: get quotes from multiple hotels for room rates and then negotiate with hotels to get the rate down.
I may be overzealous right now since I just said "I do" on Saturday, 11/22. But, I couldn't wait to express my joy and pleasure for the entire staff at they Hyatt Regency. My now...
husband walked into the Hyatt September of 2013 for a tour. I knew after some prelim phone convos and email exchanges with Christine Weiland (now located at a New York Property) this was going to be the place. I instantly connected with her and knew I would adore working with her. She worked with us to make sure we would get what we wanted. Shortly before our tasting Christine landed an awesome opportunity in New York, although I was devastated to see her go, I was confident that she wouldn't leave me in the wrong hands. At Christine's departure we were left in the hands of Dimitri Solopoulos, he made the transition very easy and was very helpful in calming any jitters I had with Christine leaving. During our tasting I was introduced to the fantastic Melissa Charette. I could go on for days raving about how amazing and attentive Melissa was. I'm sure it was not easy jumping in midway, but we connected instantly and handled my weekly (sometimes daily) emails with effortless ease. She, along with everyone at the Hyatt regency was great. The front desk staff was so helpful, A.J, Tim and the lovely ladies at the front desk handled the check-ins and odd requests without missing a beat.
Our guests could not stop raving about the food. The food at the Hyatt is not your typical mass produced banquet meal, you can tell the Chef and his team take a lot of pride in what they do. I wish I could do that day all over again! The folks at the Hyatt made our day so memorable.
If you're recently engaged and live in the Boston area, please go tour the facilities at the Hyatt and specifically ask for Melissa. She is the best!
Blissful Bride,

I had attended a wedding 4 years ago and the venue was beautiful and the food was fantastic. The bride raved about the Hyatt. I held my wedding here two months ago and working with...
Christine at the Hyatt made planning my wedding so easy. I was so confident the Hyatt, with their excellent hospitality and the value they place on every client, was humbling. I loved this venue, the people I worked with, and I am confident in saying if anyone held their wedding here - they would be SO happy they did. They go above and beyond for you...and the food is amazing.
My husband and I got married at the Hyatt on May 11, 2013. Our wedding coordinator was Christine Weiland and as you will see from the review below, I can't say enough great things ...
about her and the Hyatt team.
The Hyatt was recently renovated with new and modern finishes providing great photo ops (since it rained our on wedding day). The grand ballroom is beautiful on its own but the space can be transformed to any theme.
What really sold us on the venue was the Hyatt's ability to accommodate. From food allergies, options of where the ceremony and reception were to be held to room blocks, no request was too big and everything was always done with a smile. Although it rained on our wedding day and we had planned for an outdoor ceremony, everything went without a hiccup because Christine had asked us for our preferred Plan B way in advance. Christine is INCREDIBLY organized and no detail was overlooked in our year of planning.
One compliment we still keep receiving about the wedding was the food. Our picky foodie guests raved so much about the meal which is not a compliment that I could frequently give for other wedding meals I've had.
All staff on-site (even bell hops, security, front desk) were knowledgeable and courteous throughout our wedding weekend which puts the Hyatt above and beyond any other venue in the city. I can say without a doubt that it was the competence, professionalism and positive attitude of Christine and Hyatt team that made our wedding day so incredibly special. We will never forget them and look forward to celebrating our one year anniversary back at the Hyatt!
My husband and I got married at the Hyatt on December 29th, 2012 and couldn't be happier with the venue and service received. We booked the venue one year prior and absolutely lov...
ed working with our wedding coordinator every step of the way. The Hyatt is a beautiful and elegant city venue and compared to other hotel venues in the city, it offered by far the most for the price. In addition to value, the food was AMAZING - my guests couldn't say enough about their meal. As the bride, the most wonderful aspect about the Hyatt was the service I received from Christine, my wedding coordinator. Christine was extremely organized and I NEVER had to worry about forgetting the smaller details. She was proactive in contacting me and helped me through the entire process. She was also very professional and confident, both of which made me feel relaxed and confident that the event would run smoothly. I absolutely recommend the Hyatt Regency for any bride who wants a beautiful city wedding.
We got married here this summer and the experience was out of this world. We booked the venue in fall 2011 (Boston is a very busy place for weddings apparently!) and the main reaso...
n was their event planner, Christine Weiland. She is honest, helpful, and genuinely excited about working with you to plan the perfect day. We are both very busy with our jobs, but Christine was on top of every detail and made sure we were able to have the best experience with out having to do all the work ourselves. I loved that you're allowed to bring your own vendors, and their chef and his staff are amazing!! The tasting was incredible and the day of the wedding it was even better (if that's possible). All our guests were raving about the beautiful venue, great location and delicious food. Half-way through the night, my husband and I looked at each other and asked "is it possible that we are really having such a smooth-sailing wedding?" We did. Best night of our lives!

ocktail reception, which really clinched the deal for us. I looked at over 20 places in the city, and knew my search was over as soon as I saw their space. I was also really impressed with their food and attention to detail. Christine Weiland, our event manager was fantastic and went out of her way to make sure our wedding day was everything we had envisioned. At our tasting we had to make some really tough decisions, as all the food options tasted delicious. The hotel has a great central location in the city that was easy for our guests to get to. As an unexpected bonus, the lobby and ballroom foyer were redone before our wedding, so the entire space now looks sleek and modern. Our guests raved about the food, drinks and service they had at our wedding. So much depends on where you chose to have your reception and we found our experience with the Hyatt to be superb and exceeded our high expectations. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great venue for their city wedding.
I had a room block at the Hyatt Regency Boston for my 9/29/12 wedding. I didnt create my block until about 2 months before the wedding and they were very accomadating. There was n...
o minimum or deposit required. I wasnt crazy about the value early on- they gave us a rate of $230- but 2 weeks before the wedding rooms were over $400 on expedia! Once rooms were booked, they sent a weekly list of who had booked rooms. Overall there were great reviews from our guests and they handed out our gift bags at no charge.

ruly was the best! The space is large and dynamic, the servers are on the ball, the food is delicious, and they can accommodate requests as needed. Christine is a good listener, help, and overall just top-notch in her field. Anyone would appreciate having her by their side. The Hyatt Regency Boston is great and I would highly recommend the venue to friends and family.
When we decided to get married in a location that recognizes same-sex marriage, Boston, MA seemed the obvious choice: major airport, lots to do, and, very importantly, family ties ...
to the area.
As members of the Hyatt Gold Passport Program, we opted to explore what Hyatt properties could offer. We picked Hyatt Regency Boston because of the attractive photos on the website and because of the friendliness of the catering staff. Because we had not actually visited the hotel, we were nervous about our choice.
Two months before the ceremony we made our first visit to the hotel to meet with Christine, one of the catering managers. Christine walked us through our options (there were many!) and together we developed a plan for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding ceremony.
