We just had our wedding here this past weekend and it was perfect from start to finish. Erin Wright, our coordinator, made us feel supported the entire year. We didn't even feel like we needed to hire a planner because they assisted with coordinating so much. We did end up hiring Erin as our day-of coordinator, which the Hyatt offers. She ended up being there that day with two other event managers as well. They recently remodeled all guest rooms, as well as the reception area we used, the Crystal Ballroom. The space has floor to ceiling window views of the city that were incredible. We had our ceremony on the adjacent terrace, which they flipped and allowed people on during dancing! It was such a cool feature. We highly recommend to anyone who wants to have their wedding in the heart of downtown Chicago!

We used the Hyatt Regency Chicago for our wedding block and as the location for our post-wedding brunch and we couldn't have been happier! The staff worked with us to make sure that everything went smoothly and that we were comfortable and happy. Our guests had comfortable stays and they loved the buffet at the brunch! We would highly recommend the Hyatt for your wedding block and thank you for helping us make our wedding dreams come true! Haley & Joey

Having our ceremony and reception at the Hyatt Regency Chicago was the best wedding planning decision we made! We loved working with Rebecca and her team. They were extremely helpful throughout the wedding planning process providing general suggestions about wedding planning, answering questions and providing vendor references. Rebecca and team ran our rehearsal and the ceremony and reception down to the smallest details. I had no doubt the day of that everything would go flawlessly, and it did!

I could not have had a more perfect venue. We had a lot of out of town guests and this was the perfect spot. The view from the Crystal Ballroom was amazing as well as from the guests room. The location is next to Millenium park, Michigan Avenue, near the Lake, and near State Street. The staff there was phenomenal too. So well organized and accomodating. They were very easy to work with and made for a perfect evening. The food was also a hit. I received so many compliments! Amazing venue if you are looking for a hotel reception, with great food, great atmosphere, and up to date ballroom.

I think this name was associated with the quality and service in my mind, but they were too busy handling conferences...not to pay attention to the big note WEDDING! We had a big number of rooms booked but they were all spread all over. Honestly, I had better treatments in a smaller hotels or hotels that werent That pricy... They did not even had a STEAMER! when we called and asked for something it would never come after the first call...we had to call back 3 MORE TIMES to get the damn thing delivered. This was very frustrating! Should I mention there was not a single "congratulation" note or anything like that. In other places you would definitely receive a bottle of wine or at least something little to congratulate you on a big day... OH, and the girl at the front desk! God, she was SLOW! She seemed to be not responsive and it took her forever to register us. When I say forever I mean more than half an hour to click few things in computer and put arrived and paid. Now as I think about it, it feels like a terrible luck, at that time I was just going with the flow and tried to enjoy things as much I as could... Congrats to all who is about to Wed!:) stay happy and out of Hyatt Regency in Chicago

We had teh Crystal ballroom it was beautiful, ever detail turned out great. The food was amazing just like the tasting, people were raving about it!!!

Rebecca Stern at the Hyatt made our reception amazing! The food and cake were great and we got so many compliments. The Crystal Ballroom was gorgeous!

I've always been wary of Hotel weddings, and I could not have been more wrong. The Hyatt gave us an exceptional, personalized reception - I loved every minute of it.

The crystal ballroom overlooks the Chicago River and many downtown buildings including the Wrigely building and /NBC 5 on Michigan Avenue. Has huge foyer area w/gorgeous fountain for cocktail hour.

I loved the view from our ballroom, it was surrounded by windows that overlooked Michigan Avenue. The coordinator at the hotel, Rebecca Stern, was beyond accomodating and helped make our wedding so wonderful.;There was a large wedding at our hotel the night before our wedding. I would warn someone who would stay at the Hyatt the night before their wedding day to ask for rooms for their guests that are away from the guests from the wedding the previous night's wedding. There was a lot of loud activity on some of the floors including the suite next to my bridal suite!
