I love the service here it's Second To None it's awesome. The pool is great everything is great... they have meals cooked to order from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00. Fabulous Ballroom space I highly recommend whether you're holding an event or just want...
ing a relaxing stay at a hotel this is a first class Hotel! the only thing I would change is add a closet door and a few more pull-out drawers so there's a wee bit more storage space -- in the rooms!

We had an amazing stay at the newly renovated Hyatt Regency Irvine! The refreshed rooms, beautiful pool area, and the Regency Club were all excellent — modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The staff went above and beyond with their s...
ervice, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was truly impressive. We were also thoroughly impressed by the multiple dining options available right on the property — so convenient and delicious. This hotel has definitely become one of our favorites and we can’t wait to return!

Decent one night stay here to attend a seminar nearby. The hotel is close to Kohn Wayne Airport in Irvine, CA. The room was clean, orderly, and well dressed, though the shower drained on the slower side. Good sized pool with a separate slide an...
d smaller pool for the kids. My biggest complaint was probably the Club Lounge. At other Hyatt locations, I can just walk into the lounge during breakfast and hors d’oeuvres, but at this location, a strict reservation policy is adhered to, as well as limited seating time. An inconvenience to be sure.

We had a good overall experience at the Hyatt Regency Irvine — the property is nice and the rooms were comfortable. However, we were really disappointed to find that the pool slides were closed for the season. The main reason we booked this hot...
el for our one-night stay in late October was because the weather was warm and my daughter loves playing on the slides at the pool. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the pool, we were told the slides were closed, even though the weather was perfect for swimming.
It was especially frustrating because the hotel’s marketing and website highlight the pool and slides as key amenities, but there’s no mention anywhere that they’re closed during parts of the year. It felt a bit misleading and left our daughter really disappointed.
Overall, it’s a nice hotel, but I wish they were more transparent about seasonal closures — or at least mentioned it clearly on their website so families like ours can plan accordingly.

If you’re someone who likes to get drunk and be loud in your hotel room, this is the perfect place for you — because the staff won’t do a thing, and the security guards are too scared to even approach.
Otherwise, STAY AWAY!!!!!!
We arrived at...
Hyatt Regency Irvine and were first told there were no king-size rooms available, so they gave us a double queen room instead. That room had a connecting door, and the guests next door were very loud — we could hear every word. We went to the front desk and asked to change to a quiet room with no connecting door. The staff then switched us to a king-size room, which we thought solved the problem.
However, the new room also had a connecting door. We assumed the front desk had made sure no one would stay next door, so we didn’t complain again. After washing up and going to bed, we were woken up around 1:00 AM by extremely loud noise from the connecting room — it sounded like drunk people had just checked in. They were shouting and even tried to open the connecting door from their side, knocking on ours.
We immediately called the front desk, who said they’d send security. After waiting and hearing no improvement, I stepped out and found the security guard standing far down the hallway, about 60 feet away, refusing to come closer. He said he was waiting for another guard, who never showed up in the entire process. It was unbelievable. When I asked him to handle the noise, he said he needed to “personally hear it,” but he stayed too far to hear anything.
We went down to the front desk again, but they had no real solution. Finally, after a long back-and-forth, they moved us to another room. And guess what — the new room was exactly what we had asked for in the beginning: a king-size room with no connecting door. So apparently, such rooms did exist, they just hadn’t bothered to give us one.
This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I will never stay here again and will tell everyone I know to avoid this place.
