Hyatt Regency Lexington

From the very beginning Laura at the Hyatt was absolutely amazing. From her quick responses to my ever increasing email questions to the little touches she included the day of the wedding, the experience at the Hyatt Lexington was absolutely perfect. The food was absolutely wonderful but the service definitely was above and beyond. I would encourage any bride and groom who want a nice and special (and convenient) space at a more reasonable price than many other downtown establishments to call Laura Caldwell at the Hyatt for a meeting. You will be happy you did!

We loved our reception at the Hyatt! The wedding specialist was so great to work with, and she handled all of our requests with ease and grace. The food was terrific, and the open bar kept our guests happy! I do feel like the champagne toasts, opening of the buffet lines, etc could have been handled a little more smoothly, but overall, the flow of the reception was good. The decor that was included in the pricing was very nice, but we chose to upgrade to floor-length linens for a small fee. Also, we had pipe & drape set up behind the head table, which I thought was a little pricey. But if we had not done it, all you would have seen behind us was service doors to the kitchen. Granted, we could have set up the room differently to avoid that, but the setup we had worked best for us. Our reception was a little expensive because of the food and bar choices we made, but I feel like one could easily have a reception here on a budget. The Hyatt gave us a great deal on the hotel rooms for our out-of-town guests, and even extended the room block date for us when we asked.
