We were sorely disappointed with the service we received at Hyde Park. When we walked in, we were not greeted for a while despite multiple sales reps being available (there were mo...
re sales reps than customers in the store). One was texting on his phone and the other few didn’t acknowledge us. Ten minutes later, we were helped and the person helping us was rather cold and seemed skeptical of our request to resize a family heirloom engagement ring and wedding band. We didn’t get a welcoming vibe at all, and it didn’t make us feel comfortable entrusting our heirloom rings with them. He took our rings out of the box, put them in the palm of his hand and said he needed to consult with the jewelers upstairs. Before giving us a chance to ask any questions, he walked away with our rings and just left us waiting. The consultation with the jeweler is not that unusual I recognize, but again, the way it was handled was odd and didn’t make us feel great. When he got back he said that they recommended a complete resetting of our ring and claimed that there was potentially some poor work done with the ring before by a previous jeweler that might need to be redone. He then proceeded to write us up a quote on a sticky note with other information on there that was crossed out. Never once asking our names or taking down information to follow up. The whole thing was so unprofessional. We couldn't get out of there fast enough and were certain we did not want to use them for work on such an important and high-value piece. We ended up going to FastFix (2 minute walk away), which had also been recommended. The experience was night and day! FastFix staff greeted us immediately and offered the kindness and warmth we look for in customer service. They created an actual quote for us that was emailed to us for record, didn’t try to upsell us, and walked us through the work that would be needed. They were transparent about what things should be fixed now and what things could wait a few years. They also ensured that they would check the condition of the ring whenever we wanted to bring it in for more timely information on the urgency for updates. We felt so much more comfortable there! Stay away from Hyde Park and take your business to another shop that will treat you with respect and isn’t going to try to upsell you - especially for something so important!
I'm a watch enthusiast and I've been a customer of a few other stores for over 20 years. I was introduced to the former watch manager from a friend who was a great client of his. I...
started to buy a few timepieces from him but still purchased from my other two long time retailers. The watch manager was doing a great job converting me over to just shop with them until he left for another job out of state.
Before he left I went in to put my name on the list for a new watch that was coming out. I also followed up with an email. He told me after two other clients were taken care of he would get one for me. These emails were sent the day of announcement from the manufacture and there is no question I was one of the first to be put on the list. I waited patiently for a long time. Followed up 6 months with the sales associate who expressed that I was on the list but didn't know when. Being familiar with the process I know I should have already had one but I kept patient.
After over a year I became inpatient when the sales rep didn't answer my text so I reached out to there COO. He responded great at first but from there it went downhill. I provided him the emails showing him when I requested to get this watch. He didn't care. He simply said the list changes based on who spends the most money in the store not who was first on the list. What type of customer service is that. I haven't spent a million dollars at the store but I've spent enough and would have spent much more if he made it right. He let me know that they had not received that many but the sales rep told me they were receiving over two a month for over a year and I didn't get one? He didn't care what I had to say or how I proved it to him. Basically said, "To bad you were first on the list but you don't spend enough." If you want to feel unappreciated for spending thousands of dollar go here otherwise there are plenty of places in town that will take care of you. Being a great retailer is all about relationships and making your client feel special especially in this day and age. Non of my friends or family will be shopping here and let me tell you I have lots of friends that like to spend money on their products! I don't like writing these type of reviews but it's so frustrating to be treated like you don't matter even after proving that I did my part.
Called this morning to see if I could check out loose CZ stones (because they're cut the same as a moissanite) as well as diamond rings to get an idea of the engagement ring we're ...
looking for. The girl I spoke to was incredibly friendly and told me she had everything I was looking for.
Well I get there and I'm greeted by this gentlemen who was somewhat friendly. I tell him why I'm there and he says he'll grab the sales associate I spoke to earlier. After a few seconds of whispering into some woman's ear, he comes back without her and starts to show me diamonds. I mention the loose CZ's again and he says NO! Taken aback for a second, I explain to him that the woman I spoke to earlier told me she did have them. He says, "if you're here for diamonds, I'll help you. Other than that no."
I get that he knew he wouldn't get the sale today and for that reason he didn't see me as worthy of his time BUT he didn't need to be rude about it. I even made sure to go in during the week so I wouldn't take their time from a potential sale on a busy weekend.
He walked away and stood with his prissy nose in the air as if it were time for me to leave.
When we decide on a ring, I will definitely not plan on returning there. Get over yourself Mister, you're not in New York City or Beverly Hills. You're in DENVER!
Also, my recently engaged friend that was with me asked another woman about resizing her Bvlgari engagement ring. The woman grabbed a magnifying glass and said she was "looking for the serial number to make sure it was a real Bvlgari." That little comment was snarky, unnecessary and rude.
They were very helpful in ordering in my husband's band and even had it get there quickly so that it could be given a brushed finished because he didn't want it shiny. When we wen...

We bought my husbands white gold wedding band here and loved the service and quality. His ring has really interesting textured white gold raised edges which we didn't see in any of...
the other stores we looked at. When we decided to purchase the ring a few weeks after we first looked at it, the sales woman made it really easy to purchase the ring over the phone (we were from out of town) and have it sized and ready for the next time we were back for a visit. Easy, painless experience, couldn't be happier.
I absolutely LOVE my Tacori engagement ring and wedding band! We worked with Stephanie and she was wonderful!
he really helped me find a band that looked great with my engagement ring and also wonderful on it's own. The rewards program is also a big plus!
Paul at Hyde Park was wonderful!! He was very personable, easy to get ahold of and answered all of our questions. I look forward to working with him in the future.

tell the difference between her knowledge and sals associates at other jewelry stores. We were absolutely thrilled with my husband's ring we ordered from her. They're a little pricier than some of the other jewelry stores, but they're quality is also better. I HIGHLY recommend Hyde Park, and in particular, Michelle!
