I hired Hyde Park Photography for my engagement photos, wedding photos, and wedding day videography. When I first got engaged, I started looking for all of my vendors, as you can imagine, photography was one of the most important since this person would be capturing the entire event and give me lasting memories for me to view over and over. I interviewed dozens and dozens of photographers before deciding on Brad at Hyde Park Photography. When I spoke to Brad for the first time, he explained to me his preferred style, how he likes to shoot, what he needs from me, and what I can expect from him. His overall personality and demeanor were so calming, confident, and professional that I just knew that he would be exactly what I needed on the day of my wedding. Engagement photos, Brad did a wonderful job and I absolutely loved our location that Brad suggested and how everything turned out. My husband didn’t have much experience posing and Brad did a great job guiding him along the way. When he saw that his smile was looking a little tired, he made sure to let us relax and pose again to make sure we had great smiles and lots of options to pick from. We loved how they all turned out. Wedding photos were also great, we worked on the timeline, and how to get in all the photos we knew we wanted, and Brad provided a recommend list that we were able to update so he had the list for the day of the wedding. Day of was absolutely great, again he is calming, and professional personality put me at ease and I knew I could totally trust him. He captured every element of our day and we loved all of it!!! Videography, Brads team was amazing, photos and video all worked well together. I am so happy I hired him for both! My husband and I watch it all the time. We order some prints and well as an album as well! I can’t say enough good things! Just know Brad is calm and professional and his eye for photography is spot on! I highly recommend using him for your special day!!

It was a great pleasure to have Brad as our photographer for our wedding. He kept in touch with us throughout the planning process and was very helpful in giving us advice as to what he has seen work best. He was also very flexible in adapting to all of our many changes, and when wedding day came, he was sure to do exactly what we asked for, even if it wasn't something we had originally planned. Brad was excellent! He shot our engagement photos (drove to Houston for them) as well as our wedding. At the wedding there was more than 1 photographer to capture everything. Our wedding was delayed by a couple hours to an issue with our tent so we had to get alot of photos shot real quick before light was lost and he did a great job of making it happen. Would highly recommend Brad and his team!

Brad was an integral part of my wedding day and overall experience! He and his team were extremely professional and provided an exceptional service. His calming demeanor allowed my husband and I to relax and enjoy the time together. He wrangled the party and the families and swiftly moved through those necessary photos! The website to order photos on had excellent options for all different styles and reasonably priced. I also loved that we were able to download all of the photos digitally for our saving! My husband, Joss, and I were so incredibly fortunate to have Brad from Hyde Park Photography be the photographer for our wedding. We met at our venue’s open house, and I could tell from our first moments chatting that Brad was a thorough professional; however, even having done so many weddings, he wanted to make it extremely special for us. Brad was just fantastic: he organized the group photos, preselected all the great shots at our venue, and he made those super important moments after the ceremony feel full of love and joy rather than stress. We knew we were in good hands when he told us to walk away for a moment, take our drinks, and just savor this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Joss and I could be all smiles because Brad and his team took care of everything. The wedding photos were extraordinary. Brad sent us a wonderful reel as a preview for us to share with our families, and when everything was ready, the online portal made it incredibly easy to download, order, or print. His style is impeccable: we were surprised at how many different moments and experiences he was able to capture, from the table settings before the ceremony, to the vow exchange, to the family photos, to the crazy--and perhaps a little fuzzy--dancing at the end of the night. Brad made our wonderful day even more so with his professionalism, kindness, empathy, and forethought. Any other couple would be lucky to have him be the photographer at their wedding!

In November 2019, we decided to contract Brad to be our wedding photographer/videographer. It was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding day, and we would highly recommend Brad’s services to anyone looking to commemorate a wedding or an event in general. Professionalism: Brad is clearly a veteran photographer, and knows exactly what he needs to do to get a shot. Some photographers will just stand there and make you tell them every shot you want to take, but Brad knows his venues and his trade inside and out - just relax and let him direct you where to go. No hassle, stress-free, and the results will be absolutely amazing! Price: Brad is not a bargain-bin photographer, and his rates reflect that. However, given the quality of the finished product, and the fact that you get Brad himself and 1-2 additional photographers/videographers, the price is well worth the value. Furthermore, when you think about the lifetime of your wedding purchases, the pictures and videos are the things that will outlast the clothes, the decorations, the food, and the venue. Don’t skimp out! Access: Brad makes his photos available through a digital portal. You can send download links for free, and the portal also has options for buying prints large and small. The prices on the portal are also not bargain-bin, so if you’re looking for something to put in your wallet you should feel free to print off your free downloads. But, the portal has the highest resolution photos, so if you want a big portrait make sure to go through the official service! In summary, this man doesn’t just capture beauty - he creates it through his skillful framing, composition, and editing technique. We could not be happier with our decision to choose him as our wedding photographer and look forward to many many long years of commemorating our relationship with his photography.

If I could give more than 5 starts I would. Brad has been the most professional and amazing photographer. He captured the most important moments of my wedding, and so much more. There are no words to express how strongly I recommend having Brad and Hyde park Photography be your photographer. There is no one better!

Brad was such an incredible photographer to work with! Choosing a photographer was very important to us--we wanted someone who we would feel comfortable around, knew what they were doing, and really capture us and our family in a way that was true to us. Going with Brad for our wedding photography was a great choice. My fiancé, Steven, had been looking at portfolios for various photographers in Austin when we stumbled upon Brad’s booth at an open house at a venue, Vista on Seward Hill. Upon seeing his digital slideshow and photo books, we knew that we needed him to be our wedding photographer. Whether it’s capturing natural light (we had an outdoor reception) or the dance floor at night, his photos speak for themselves. I am not very comfortable in front of the camera, but on the day of the wedding, Brad and his assistant were incredibly reassuring, calm, and gave direction to make our jobs easy. Leading up to the wedding, Brad did the due diligence to make sure he was ready, including asking for lists of photo combos to make sure important family wasn’t missed. He and the coordinator kept to the schedule so well, and we didn’t even notice him for the most the day! Brad’s turnaround time in delivering the final product was insanely quick (within a few weeks), and we are obsessed with every moment he captured! Given how well he was able to brilliantly capture the few seconds our dog ran down the aisle as the ring bearer, I’d say Brad adapts extremely well to any situation and I would recommend his experience and talent to any of my friends or family looking for a wedding photographer!!

My fiance and I were planning a destination wedding in Austin while living 600 miles away. Although we had spoken with Brad via email before the big day, I was understandably nervous to meet our photographer for the first time on the day of the wedding. (We couldn't make it down to Austin for an engagement session before the big day). Luckily I had no need to worry! Brad was so easy to work with and all the photos turned out amazing! (It poured on our wedding day and everything had to get moved inside last minute- Brad made the transition with ease and managed to help keep me calm in the process!) As a same-sex couple, it was very important to us to feel comfortable with who we were working with. We had Brad take our engagement pictures as a trial run to get comfortable with each other and the pictures turned out beautiful; we couldn't wait for Brad to take our wedding pictures. We initially met Brad at an open house at our venue, and we contracted him immediately. Organising our wedding in Texas from the UK in three months seemed mind boggling at the start. I had contacted every local photographer Google/Yahoo/Bing had to offer but I soon saw why our venue recommended Brad and his team at Hyde Park Photography. He was extremely prompt, reliable and accommodating in his emails. He took great effort to understand the customs involved in our Sri Lankan/Texan fusion wedding. His professionalism allowed me to trust that he would deliver on the day despite having never seen or spoken to him in person. His eye for detail captured all the important moments in our traditional ceremony, the unexpected funny moments that would otherwise have gone un-noticed and the emotion, fun and laughter of our wonderfully special day. He was incredibly generous with his time and went out of his way to make sure that I received the pictures easily back in the UK. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He was absolutely excellent!

Working with Brad at Hyde Park Photography was a privilege. He is a very talented photographer, and was really easy to work with. The only reason I took off one star for value is that we had to pay for additional hours, so keep that in mind if you'd like photos for more than 6 hours. Brad and David from Hyde Park Photography did an incredible job for our rehearsal dinner and wedding! I could not have been happier with either my experience or my photographs. From the first inquiry to the final days leading up to our wedding weekend, Brad was such a pleasure to deal with! He was professional, prompt in answering all of my questions and concerns, and completely genuine in wanting to make the most important day of our lives as special as possible. Anyone who has planned a wedding can attest to the fact that sadly, not all vendors possess these qualities. Thankfully, Brad and David are both talented photographers AND fantastic people to boot! We had David come out to our rehearsal dinner at Star Hill Ranch and all I can say is "WOW!" Miraculously, the weather was beautiful and David was just so friendly and talented as a photographer. It was such a special day because it was the first time that both of our entire families and close friends had been in the same place at once. He was not intrusive, but managed to capture so many special moments that luckily we will never have to forget! He captured first hugs, hysterical laughter, and heartbreakingly cute moments from the kids. He captured all of the LOVE that surrounded us that day. The next day (our wedding day!) all was NOT calm when my bridal party and I arrived 45 minutes late to the wedding site (the shuttle's fault). Brad and his assistant were there waiting for me with a smile and talked over how we could catch ourselves up schedule-wise, since my fiance and I had wanted to do a First Look. By the time my ladies and I had arrived, we had already dealt with a few small catastrophies and I can't tell you how comforting it was to have them there, willing to help and ready to go. Brad captured really special moments with me and my sisters and bridesmaids. From the first time my Dad saw me in my wedding dress, to the First Look with my soon-to-be husband, things started to fall into place. It was all happening! Brad and his assistant were there to capture it all. The photos are simply breathtaking! I am SO grateful that I chose Brad and his team to be there for our wedding weekend. From our vows, our speech, to our first dance, Brad and his assistant really take stunning photographs and took incredible posed, artistic, and group shots. Brad was a pleasure to work with. He takes amazing photos and really captures the moment. You need to be very specific with him and express what you are wanting in order to get what you want. He and his team did a great job at our wedding and I also used him for our engagement session and bridal session, which turned out great as well. He also uses an easy to use website that keeps all the pictures in one place and it is well organized.
