Hyland Hills were well equipped to host our wedding. They were incredibly clear about what was and wasn’t allowed during the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. We had slideshows running, music and dance floor, well equipped bar space and clean facilities for all aspects of the event. We did the chair lift option and were married on the top of the hill- there are a lot of details to think of with this - and we had great guidance from Suzanne about timing guest arrival, coordination for shuttles for folks with little ones/ mobility difficulties and fears of heights. They had plenty of hands on deck to ensure smooth operation of the lift and entry/exit of guests onto and off of the lift.

Our wedding at Hyland Hills was PERFECT. Suzanne was a big help as we began the process and then Gabriella, our day of coordinator, took over from there. They both were an amazing help, very detail oriented, knowledgeable, kind, enthusiastic and resourceful! The venue is beautiful, clean and spacious. My husband and I couldn’t recommend this venue and people more!

s also super affordable to rent, even for a larger group! We initially met with Suzanne, who was extremely helpful in helping us make our decision. She was transparent about the venue, and did not make us feel pressured to make a decision. Once we decided to book the venue for our wedding, we worked with Gabby as our day of coordinator. Gabby did an amazing job, and I would highly recommend paying extra for a DOC through the venue since they know the space so well. Gabby helped us with every question we had, and was a hero on the day of the wedding, making sure that everything ran smoothly. All other staff members were wonderful as well, and we got many compliments on the venue. Thank you Hyland Hills!

Unfortunately between booking Hyland and our wedding, there were small changes of what was accessible for us — the lanterns and the beanbag set were no longer offered. On the day of, the dishwasher was broken, but Gabby ensured that it did not impact the events of our day!

aste facility and work with vendors who share the same values. The chalet is stunning with floor to ceiling windows, large outdoor patio space, tons of parking and built-in bar. They offered a large selection of local craft beer, wine and seltzers which was another big perk for us! Their staff was friendly, responsive and on top of every detail when it came to the planning process. They also have very competitive pricing for the value/space and being a Twin Cities venue.

Our guests gave our venue extensive praise, particularly on how spacious and beautiful it was, and we could not agree more. We highly recommend Hyland Hills!!

on. We didn't need to decorate a lot, the views from inside of the venue were fantastic. Loved having the ability for guests to go outside and enjoy the views and get some fresh air. We hired The Look Out as our caterer, and they worked great with the Hyland Hills. Our DJ was MN Wedding Party, which worked great with Hyland Hills as well. Hyland Hills provided the bar support, which was great on a hot day. We received lots of compliments from our guests about how beautiful the wedding venue was. We were so happy to have our wedding in this venue. A special thanks to Suzanne for helpping make our wedding such a special day in your venue!

e's coordinator, was very responsive, and the bar staff on hand the day of were helpful when we had questions or needs. I loved that this venue is on the lower side price-wise, can accommodate 300+ guests, and offers the flexibility to coordinate with any of the 20+ caterers on their approved list. On the big day, we could get in anytime after 10 am to decorate, but the ceiling and windows were so pretty that the space required minimal decoration! Guests had a great time on the outdoor patio as well. All in all a great experience.

t - seriously, if that's your thing, you need to check this out! - and showcase the green hills, but the internal wooden structure and exposed pipe also provide an industrial vibe. It is a large venue that will comfortably host a bigger wedding but could be downsized without drowning a smaller party. Unfortunately, we had to reconfigure our wedding due to COVID-19, so our celebration this summer will look different that planned. But what I would really like to say about Hyland is that Suzanne and her team are PHENOMENAL. After working with many vendors during the planning - and then re-planning process - I can confidently say that they have level of responsiveness and flexibility that is not common in the wedding industry. Hyland is not only a gorgeous venue, but will minimize your wedding planning stress!

r guests. The large windows and beautiful scenery allows for minimal decorations needed which is a huge plus. They provide a dance floor. Hyland is a HUGE venue and with our guest count of 95, we were afraid that the space would be too big, but it worked out perfectly and it felt like the perfect size! Prices are comparable to other venues in the area. You have to choose from a list of caterers, but the list was actually a good place to start and had some great options. We would definitely recommend Hyland for your wedding reception!

The patio and lawn space were great options for guests to get some fresh air during the reception. We did very little decorating–this space doesn't even need any decorations. We received so many compliments from our family and friends on the space, and are so grateful to have had our wedding at Hyland Hills!

get ready at the venue and keep our things secure throughout the evening. The chalet required very little extra decorations thanks to the wall of windows overlooking the ski hill. Suzanne was fantastic to work with throughout the whole process; she responded to my emails quickly and directly, and she never denied an in-person meeting :) The other staff we interacted with were professional and helpful. My 7 year old sister cut her toe during family pictures, and Hyland staff responded calmly, getting her a wheelchair (she felt very special), and bringing her away from the action to get cared for. Our only negative was one of the blinds was broken, so a few of our tables were blinded by the sun for about 20 minutes. Overall, we are so glad we chose Hyland Hills for our special day!

et is right by the ski hill in Bloomington so the area was really unique. They also have a unused railroad track that we took some pictures by. We got such great comments on the place we picked. If you're looking for something a little bit more casual then this is worth looking into for sure! The rental of the venue is free if you use their inside catering. (which was surprisingly very good food!!) The venue can be rented April-September. Martha, who is the point connecting person was also super helpful!
