If it was possible to give 10 stars I would! Not only is Melissa extremely talented and a true professional, she is beyond kind and such a genuine person. I met Melissa a couple years ago at Mac in NYC when I would get my makeup done for work galas and special events. She was my go to makeup artist for years so it was very natural for me to have her do my wedding day glam! I honestly couldn’t imagine anyone else. Melissa is a natural artist and listens to your vision on how you want to look on your wedding day. She made me feel comfortable and confident. My makeup was flawless and I felt incredible. It lasted all day even outdoors in August and it felt light on my face. I highly recommend Melissa for any occasion! She is truly the best and such an amazing person.

I went to Melissa 2 years ago for a hair and makeup trial. From the moment I met Melissa I knew I was in the best hands! She is one of the sweetest, most genuine people I have ever met. After my trial I just knew I had to book her for my wedding, without needing to explore other options. Fast forward to present day: Melissa did makeup for my bridal party yesterday morning. Everyone absolutely loved their makeup, especially me! If there was a concern about something, she gladly listened and adjusted the makeup accordingly to ensure everyone was happy. She brought along Tina for hair; Tina did such a great job with all the girls’ hair. We showed her pictures of styles and she hit them all spot on. My bridal party and I received compliments all night! It was such a pleasure to work with both Melissa and Tina for my special day! They were both very professional and very accommodating. I highly recommend I Bridal You for your hair and makeup needs!

Melissa did my makeup for my sister’s wedding along with the entire bridal party. And wow did Melissa take all of our expectations to another level. Every girl in the bridal party looked BEAUTIFUL & FLAWLESS. I highly recommend hiring Melissa & I Bridal You!!! Makeup is great - if you can get her to keep an appointment or answer a call/email!! My sister-in-law had Melissa do her's and the bridesmaids makeup at her wedding. Everything looked great. The woman she works with does hair who also did a good job. I reached out to Melissa after the wedding to book an appointment to get my makeup done for another wedding. I arrived on time and sat in front of her door for 30 minutes. I called and sent emails repetitively until I had to leave because the wedding was in a couple hours. Melissa never showed. I received an email from her husband that night that she was in the hospital. I also heard from Melissa the next day that she was so sorry no one called to cancel my appointment. She offered to send me a gift in the mail and the next time I needed her, the makeup application would be free. I denied the gift as it was not necessary. It sucked not having my makeup done for the wedding, especially a couple hours before where I couldn't secure anyone else, but I understand things happen and I felt OK after she reached out. I emailed her again a couple months later to tell her I was engaged and would love for her to do my makeup for the engagement party. She never even responded to my email. Apparently, she didn't want to risk me taking her up on the free makeup application. She does good work - but don't count on her keeping appointments or getting back to you. Would hate to have a no show the day of my wedding!!

I Bridal You was recommended by a few of my friends and I can 100% understand why. The girls are so sweet and easy to work with and they do such beautiful makeup and hair. I kept going back and forth on if I wanted my hair up or down and they let me do as many trials as I wanted and the style came out beautifully!! All of my girls loved their hair and makeup! I would definitely recommend!

Melissa is the BEST! From the moment I met her for my trial I knew she was the makeup artist I needed for my wedding. What a beautiful, down to earth and super sweet chick - love her!! My girls and I looked flawless and our makeup stayed on ALL day/night. Best of all, I barely felt like I had anything on. Even though I had full coverage it did not feel cakey at all. My skin was the smoothest it's ever been! My MOH even went out and bought the foundation she used on us because she loved it so much. Melissa is INCREDIBLE. She did my make up for my wedding, and I do not think I could've wished for anyone more ideal to have done so than Melissa. I am so, so glad and grateful to have had her sky-high talent, professionalism, and kindness to make me feel beautiful on my special day. I cannot find anything short of outstanding in my experience with her in all aspects, and I would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone. She is immediately warm, so sweet, and comforting while also highly professional. She is prompt to respond and wonderfully supportive from the get-go, which is so appreciated for nervous/overwhelmed bride-to-be's. Melissa clearly and genuinely has her clients' best interest at heart. She asked for any input and preferences I had and was very welcoming of feedback, constantly asking if things were looking the way I envisioned and offering to make any and every adjust (which was unnecessary because she did a perfect job! But I really appreciate that she made sure I felt like I could say something if I wasn't 100% happy). She only uses products that she knows are high quality and uses herself. She is efficient and was so accommodating with my schedule/preferences. I cannot speak highly enough of what a pleasure and how easy it was to work with her. In terms of artistry, Melissa is top-notch. She has such a inspiring passion for making other people feel gorgeous. She has a wonderful talent/"eye" for selecting the appropriate look/colors/products. With her abundant experience and talent, Melissa created my ideal wedding look--better than what I imagined. Her technique and skill in creating my wedding day look lasted all day long and had me stunned in the best way. Despite it being humid and 80+ degrees Fahrenheit for my outdoor beach wedding, my skin looked and stayed flawless until I took my make-up off more than 12 hours later without ever any hint of "cakey-ness", melting, abrupt transitions, dryness, or ANY of the common pitfalls/worries I had about my skin for the day. My aunt specifically commented that Melissa made my face shape perfect with her expert contouring that seemed like borderline magic. My eye make up was similarly exactly what I wanted and enduring without any smudges or melting, and my eyebrows, which I am particularly picky about, were THE best I've ever seen them look--natural and mine, but filled in perfectly, almost magically without trace of assistance, and ideal all day. I got so, so many compliments of how natural but "perfect" my make up was and, in short, felt the most beautiful I have ever felt, thanks to Melissa and what she offers. I could not be happier that I got to have Melissa as my make-up artist for my wedding and truly feel confident that she is someone that anyone would be so warmly glad they decided to work with and have on their wedding team.

Melissa was really great and patient with me and my sons girlfriends she did an amazing job on my make up I loved it and Alexa and Alissa looked amazing too she has done my make up twice already and I would not get anyone else if you want to look beautiful for your special occasion call Melissa and you will!!

Melissa did my make up for my sister-in-law's wedding in 2007 and she blew me away so much I said "I have to keep in touch with her b/c when I get married, she's doing my make up for my wedding". Through out the years she continued to do my make up for events b/c she's just that damn good!! Here we are 10 years after I met her and she was just as amazing if not more the day of my wedding. Melissa was wonderful to work with. She is very patient and listens to you and understands the look you are most comfortable with. She made me feel beautiful on my wedding day. Even more than me.. last minute I asked her to do my moms makeup and she was so accomodating and made her look most beautiful. Tina was also great!! I loved my hair and it lasted perfect the whole night!! All of my bridesmaids agreed that both girls were wonderful and a pleasure on the wedding morning. Melissa is fabulous. The day of my wedding I had a dress malfunction and was still tired from preparing the venue the day before. When I first sat in her chair I remember saying to her "I hope you brought a lot of good stucco with you to fix my face" lol. Well, whatever magic she did, made me very happy. Melissa and her team were absolutely AMAZING! I used her for my best friends wedding in July; myself, the other bridesmaids and bride looked gorgeous. Melissa did an absolutely perfect job with my and my bridal party's makeup. Melissa came recommended to be by my sister in law. All of my friends, sister in laws, our moms, and grandma looked amazing. She even made my 87 year old grandmother appear as if she were in her 60s! No disappointed faces here! MELISSA IS THE BEST, SIMPLY AMAZING! When I first began my search for a wedding day make-up artist, having a lack of personal recommendations, I turned straight to the knot. I sent out a couple emails to a few artists whose make-up struck me as very pretty. I knew from the moment I got my reply from I Bridal You that I was all set, decision made, and going to be in great hands. Melissa was so excited for me, encouraging, willing to do anything to have the make-up be perfect. I explained to her that I wasn't sure what to do exactly but I definitely wanted to try an old hollywood look. The trial was perfect, if I didn't wash the make-up off before bed it would have still been perfect the next morning. Melissa, there aren't enough words of thanks for how beautiful you made me feel and look on my wedding day. All the bridesmaids and family whom you did felt the same and looked perfect. Melissa is a true artist. I had 'I bridal you' for hair and make up on location at my wedding October 20th, I can't say enough about how professional and sweet Melissa is. Our make up was flawless!!! The. Bomb. Dot. Com. Not only is Melissa the sweetest person I have ever met, but she is an unbelievably talented makeup artist, a magician if you will. Melissa is the first person who ever, yes EVER, got eyeliner on me. I'm a freak about having anything near my eyes. And eyeliner is basically drawing, with a sharp object, directly on your eye ball! But, like magic, she got me to do it, more than once, and with ease. I was not/am not a makeup person, but I love when Melissa does it! Her work speaks for itself. When I went to New Jersey for my trial, she welcomed my parents and me into her studio, made us feel completely at home, and we chatted the entire time. Your search for an amazing and gifted make up artist can finally come to an end because I'm telling you... Melissa is AMAZING!! When my friend got married a few years back, Melissa was the makeup artist for her and the bridal party, myself included. Melissa is the most professional make up artist I have EVER worked with. She is reliable and her background backs up her artistic skills. She has done my makeup for events that I've hosted, photo shoots and most recently for my first NPC bikini competition. I would like to say that I had the most amazing experience with Melissa-not once, but twice. The first time I was lucky to be apart of a bridal party and she was the makeup artist. She was the most laid back person with such a great vibe. Then I saw her work and she is truly an artist. For someone who normally wears little to no makeup I was always afraid that I would look too done up or that the makeup would be caked on. Well it was further from the truth with Melissa. I looked amazing all while feeling like I had no makeup on. I immediately asked her to be my own makeup artist for my upcoming wedding. I received so many compliments on both days on how great I looked and continue to receive those compliments from my pictures. Every single one of my bridesmaids loved her and wished they knew about her before they got married so they could've used her. She is such a calm person and she calms you down. And to top it off her artistry is incredible. I wish I had more events that I could use her for!

I first worked with Melissa for my engagement photos in the summer of 2013. I loved my makeup so much and received countless compliments on it from friends, family, and even strangers who had seen my photos! Without hesitation I booked Melissa for my wedding in August of 2014 and my makeup was beyond PERFECT. It was a humid day but my makeup stayed flawless for 24 hrs. (yes, I slept with it on- don’t judge!) I went to breakfast the next morning in my wedding makeup and my friends and family couldn’t believe that it held up so well for so long! And the best part is that it felt so light and breathable, never heavy or caked on. From my first trial through the day of my wedding Melissa always greeted me with a hug and a huge smile, took the time and care to explain what she was doing thoroughly, and made adjustments to my heart’s content to make me look and feel absolutely beautiful. I recommend Melissa to the highest degree for the incredible quality given and personality to match!
