m the venue and were only able to come down a couple times in advance to plan for our wedding, so their help was key to making the day of our dreams. In addition, my husband was the main planner as I was unable to join several of the coordinating sessions – and while I know the groom is not the person who typically plans the wedding – Elizabeth and Jennifer warmly welcomed him into the planning and guided us through the process. Together, they made our day absolutely perfect.
We hired I Do Events (Elizabeth/Jennifer) to do our day-of coordination for the wedding. This meant that we were responsible for booking all vendors and doing most of the up front coordination. Despite this, Elizabeth worked with us throughout everything. As we were coordinating the wedding from a distance, we had calls about once a month to ensure that we were on track in terms of hiring vendors, and she was instrumental in providing advice and recommending vendors and ideas that would fit within our budget. Elizabeth was supportive and encouraging and ran our coordination calls with the efficiency of a professional. She always quickly followed-up after our calls to help us get in touch with vendors.
Before the wedding, we transitioned to working primarily with Jennifer Regner who did the actual day-of coordination. Jennifer was such a true delight to work with. We talked with her several times in the two weeks leading up to the wedding to ensure that we had all our planning done so that we didn’t have to worry at all on the day itself. She met us at the rehearsal, listened as we explained how we wanted everything set up, and efficiently walked everyone through ceremony (you would think it would be easy, but there were so many small questions that popped up).
During the day of the wedding, Elizabeth checked in on us in the morning to make sure that we were doing well, and Jennifer handled everything with grace. Jennifer calmly worked to keep everyone on schedule and when timing shifts arose due to vendors or other external factors, she was fantastic in adjusting timing and communicating with us and the rest of our guests. She made sure that everything was set-up appropriately, picked up the sandwiches that our wedding party had ordered for lunch, ensured that people knew where to be and when, that we had big plates of food and our requested glasses of champagne, and so much more ... everything that we had asked for! She was always in the background making sure everything was running as it should and could always be seen with a smile and ready to help with anything.
At we reflect on our wedding half a year later – all I can think about is that it was a day of love and celebration that we had envisioned. But that kind of day can only happen when there is someone in the background facilitating and guiding, so we were free to focus on our love for each other and our special day. For us – it was Elizabeth Fletcher and Jennifer Regner of I Do Events that made everything come together. We highly recommend them for your wedding.

wn but immediately had a change of heart upon meeting Elizabeth. She shows genuine interest in your story, what you want your weekend and the wedding day to look like, and how to help you get there. Throughout our time working with her prior to working with Jennifer Regner (also an incredible event coordinator) we felt reassured that everything would come together. Elizabeth assisted in communicating with additional vendors such as the caterer and got us connected with a florist in the area that we were so happy with. Whenever I had questions, Elizabeth always responded and was happy to take my call. Due to a conflicting event, Elizabeth requested that Jennifer take over our wedding about two months out. I then met with Jennifer at our venue and again, instantly felt confident in her ability to make everything flow smoothly, with the least amount of hiccups, all while supporting our family. She had such a calm presence that I truly needed throughout the month leading up to our wedding weekend that is so special. Jennifer made sure we had 3 conference calls with my mom, fiance, and her so that the timeline was exactly as we wanted it to be. She provided feedback when necessary and was receptive to my suggestions. She constantly reminded me that I would be able to relax and enjoy the day and allow her and the crew to take care of everything. If you want someone who can give direct feedback, help you make major decisions, and provide you with a sense of ease and excitement, Jennifer is the perfect fit! She's flexible and gets her job done all while blending in. I am so appreciative of the overall experience with I Do Events and can't imagine what wedding planning could've been like without them.

This was a destination wedding and we could not have chosen a more perfect day of coordinator. She was in constant contact with the bride with phone meetings and was always available whenever there was a question. Elizabeth went above and beyond to help in any way suggesting vendors and offering advice which made planning the wedding such an enjoyable experience for all of us. When the day arrived, she was in complete control ensuring every detail happened as planned and just what the bride wanted. Elizabeth helped us handpick our venue and vendors as she was an invaluable resource. She is organized, quick to answer calls, texts, emails and extremely professional. She coached us through a variety of situations and came up with a perfect timeline for the rehearsal and wedding, thus making our special day one that we could relax and enjoy without concern.

dinator”, Elizabeth was far more than that. We weren’t super familiar with the area and it’s vendors and Elizabeth helped to line everything up for us. Which florist should we use? Elizabeth helped. Which bakery do you suggest? Elizabeth helped. Where should I have my bridesmaid luncheon? Elizabeth again. For someone who was hired for “day of” she blew it out of the water. Her suggestions, advice, communication, and details were all on par. I can’t even imagine the stress of being one planner vs 275 guests, to get everyone in one place in an orderly fashion, communicate with the band, the late night Chick-fil-A, passing out props, making sure the bride and groom stay happy, clothing changes, sparkler hand outs, floral transfers, MOB car loading etc., it is a lot! Elizabeth had wonderful ideas that made the reception so special and beautiful. She helped us with getting generators, tents, seating, a bartender, a DJ, transportation for guests and restrooms. She made sure the vendors did a test drive out to the site prior to the wedding. She saved us more money than her fee by negotiating with vendors. She anticipated some major issues and we were prepared for the downpour of rain on the day of.
She kept everything on time, the groomsmen in line, the bride calm and Elizabeth even kept her cool when a black bear (I kid you not) showed up halfway through the reception. My friends still refer to our wedding as "the perfect wedding."

This was my experience with Elizabeth. She was always there for me and my mom and always seemed like she had an endless amount of time and patience to devote to us. She even kept the guys in line and focused on the task, something that is sometimes very hard to do!
The specific, written timeline that included each event leading up to the actual wedding (provided to each vendor as well as the wedding party), was a godsend.
A truly remarkable thing about Elizabeth is that she never left the impression that this was just another event or task for this person. The fact that she has continued to keep in touch well after my wedding only reinforces this impression.

Ours was a destination wedding which appears to be much more difficult to plan but Elizabeth’s background and wealth of experience in planning this type of wedding made this a much easier task.
It was comforting to know that Elizabeth was so accessible and was very timely in response to every one of my many questions throughout the planning process. She worked very closely with the venue we chose which was so important to us as we live 150 miles from the venue.
As the wedding date approached, my contact with her was almost daily. She provided me and the vendors a very detailed timeline of everything from the date and time we were to arrive in the area to the date and time we were to remove any personal belongings from the venue after the wedding. My daughter named her timeline the “roadmap to my perfect day”.
In addition, Elizabeth has remained a valued friend and contact beyond her contractual obligation to us.
Elizabeth knows what she is doing. Many times, as the mother of the bride, I was completely lost in the
process. My best advice is to listen to her, ask your many questions, follow her direction and let her do the job she so perfectly knows how to do.

Girls dream of their wedding day all their lives and with a good wedding planner their dreams can become reality. Not with this lady! Not only was she rude, she didn't listen to the couples wishes, she wore inappropriate clothing for a wedding director, didn't straighten the brides train until she was half way down the aisle. Not to mention her taking all the leftover food for herself, carrying it out to her car in front of all the wedding guests. She also served the top layer of the cake against the couples wishes.
