In fact, your photographer RL just reached out with me to share previews of the images and mentioned how delightful Caitlyn ( your MUA) was along with the beautiful images from your day. Also, regarding your clear upset and anger in this matter, I’m baffled as your wedding day team reported to me about your experience they mentioned how elated everyone was delighted and sent pics of everyone’s hair and makeup… I can certainly upload those in this space, as well, lest the reader is mislead by your unsubstantiated allegations. You also expressed excitement and satisfaction during and after your wedding trial, months ago, when you were informed that you would have a highly capable team.. at which you displayed a bit of school girlish upset, but generally seemed accepting of that term. I can also upload those comments and images to substantiate my response and surprise at your sudden rage filled stance. Clearly, there is a lack of open and honest communication that is the common thread that seems to be causing you displeasure; it is within our job descriptions to re-style hair or modify makeup that is less than satisfactory if dissatisfaction wasn’t expressed- the artists would have no way of knowing of such concerns. Perhaps what added to your stress initially, was when you assumed that hair and make up trials would be FREE? No such phrasing was ever in any contract of mine..perhaps you confused my terms with those of another agency’s ..understandable with all of the intensive research that a bride is suddenly forced to undertake. You were informed the DAY BEFORE ( also can be substantiated with a time/ date stamp in our communications) your wedding day that, your assigned make up artist wouldn’t be able to provide services as her father was tragically HOSPITALIZED with both Covid and dementia and his prognosis looked very grim, perhaps she would even lose him over the weekend.. extremely sad circumstances, and not within anyone’s control. Family and health first are always a priority in my business; your comments confirm that not everyone thinks the same way that I do. I did my very best to assure that you had a talented makeup artist and last minute, which is an EPIC task within 48 hours of an event, as the majority are booked well in advance and on a holiday weekend. Also, on top of my full salon schedule finding coverage , consoling my distraught friend / artist in her grief, in addition to covering incoming inquiries, and gracefully and creatively conducting my business while traveling to other states..indeed, that can get a bit stressful at times.. but I’ve certainly always delivered excellent services.. please find over 100 glowing reviews with a quick internet search. Again, it was my intention in offering my apologies and the reasons for them to bring you to a place of understanding and alleviate any concerns that you had. I assumed that you might share that same empathetic heart space. Again, you proved me wrong. Your unsubstantiated claims and accusations could be labeled as slanderous by some, especially with the concurrent duplicitous communication threads with the artists, images and dated material all as valid evidence to support my response to your sudden almost erratic shift in mood and false accusations..
