I Do Hair and Makeup Artistry

were really helpful. On the day of the wedding, Lark and her assistant arrived on-time and finished early. They were very understanding of the dogs that kept breaking into the space because they wanted to be included. I would recommend this business.

n schedule without ever feeling rushed, and the final looks were absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience on such an important day!

minute fixes and requests, and truly made our night. In addition, pricing was perfect. Highly highly highly recommend!!!

t we all asked for! Everyone was extremely happy with their look for the day and the team was friendly and easy to talk to for hours. Highly recommend!

lasted for days! Thank you for an awesome experience Idohairandmakeup :)!

, and kind—answering countless emails as I tried to sort out how many people wanted services and what would work best for everyone. That level of communication alone meant so much to me during an already overwhelming planning process. When I realized I wouldn’t be able to get to the venue early enough for everyone to have their hair and makeup done, they were beyond accommodating and allowed us to come to their studio instead. On the day of the wedding, we were all running behind and a bit frazzled, but they stepped in calmly, helped get us organized, and truly saved the morning. They even let me use their table when I realized I had forgotten to glue on my press-on nails—such a small thing, but it meant the world in that moment. My hair turned out absolutely amazing and held perfectly all night. My makeup was just as incredible—it lasted the entire evening and, most importantly, Lark actually listened to me about wanting to keep my natural pale skin tone. Other artists in the past hadn’t respected that, but Lark made my makeup perfectly suited to my complexion, and I felt like the best version of myself. Beyond their talent, both women were so much fun to be around and genuinely cared that each of us was happy with how we looked. They created such a positive, calming, and joyful atmosphere during a hectic day. I am so grateful for them and would recommend them without hesitation to any bride. Truly amazing work and even better people. Thank you both again!!

different packages! My bridesmaids wanted their hair done and wanted false lashes without getting makeup done, and I Do offered a package for that! Raemie was also extremely communicative through the portal, which I loved because everything was kept in one place. I liked how she had a form for the bridesmaids to fill out about what they wanted for their hair. I also appreciated how flexible Raemie was about adding some people's services at the very last minute and how she was easily able to accommodate the changes I wanted between my trial and my wedding day. I was from out of town, so she also made it a breeze to schedule my trial for when I could come to town! Not to mention, Raemie is SO nice and easy to talk to but will also stick up for the bride if other people are overriding her. Overall, it was a great experience working with Raemie and her assistant Christyanna before and on my wedding day! I would highly recommend I Do Hair & Makeup Artistry.

re great and made all of us feel so pretty! All responses were prompt and it was easy to contact I Do Hair & Makeup Artistry :)

anted and were very good. They were also a pleasure to talk to and be around. Very kind and fun souls! Will be using their services again in the future and highly recommend!

de recently! She and her team worked on myself plus my eight bridesmaids and two mothers. They work efficiently, are super friendly and fun, and possess a talented hair and makeup skill set. I was so impressed! The trial was helpful and I am so glad they were able to execute my vision. We truly felt beautiful and had a blast getting ready together. 10/10 recommend! Thank you so much.

erience not as ideal. My hair stylist was overall very friendly and did a great job with my bridesmaids. She arrived to our venue on time and was very efficient and prepared. My bridesmaids, who had a combination of straight and curly hair, looked great, and the styles stayed all night. My hair unfortunately did not hold a curl and looked messy after a few hours. During my hair trial, I made sure to communicate with my stylist that my hair tends to not hold a curl. We tried a style, and I later sent pictures to my stylist following the trial that showed my hair did not hold the curls she had made. We came up with an alternative plan to use on my wedding day to make it last longer. On the day, I expressed to my stylist that there were a few curls that she had done that were not holding, and also pointed out a few small strands that she had missed entirely when curling. She curled the uncurled pieces, but despite reiterating my concerns, my stylist insisted the curls would stay. Almost immediately following the ceremony, almost half my hair had fallen flat. My hair CAN hold a curl when done properly (I did it myself for my rehearsal and it lasted all day), but unfortunately my stylist did not make it last. Another item of note is that upon booking, the company requires you to sign a long contract (made during COVID-19 and now out of date) that requires you to always tag them on all pictures posted to social media and other websites, and that they can contact your photographer and use any photos of you for marketing. It also incorrectly states that you must provide hotel accommodation/travel fees if the wedding is outside of San Juan, TX, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico, even though the company is based in Tucson. At one point, I tried to remove a service for one of my bridesmaids months in advance of the wedding, but because I had already made my first payment (50% of the total cost) they weren’t willing to remove it. 20% mandatory gratuity and a $50 veil placement (that I didn’t end up having my stylist do as a result of the fee) were also a factor that weren’t initially apparent from the website. While it was an overall good experience with this business, and I was happy with the majority of the results, there were a few things I wish had been handled better, hence my review.

oks were exactly what we wanted. I have naturally curly hair and Lark knew exactly how to make them neat and in place throughout a busy day!

expertise made my wedding day a truly memorable experience. Their seamless process, characterized by clear communication, transparent pricing, and well-defined service descriptions, ensured a stress-free preparation. On the wedding day, Raemie and Lark demonstrated extraordinary skill and efficiency. They flawlessly styled six adults and a flower girl, remaining perfectly on schedule while delivering personalized looks that beautifully complemented each individual. Not only did their artistry hold up impeccably throughout the day and night, but their calm, composed demeanor also brought a sense of ease to a bustling morning. I Do Hair and Makeup Artistry exceeded all my expectations with their outstanding talent, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail. I cannot recommend them highly enough—if you're planning a wedding or special event, booking their services will be one of the best decisions you make.

vice so much I ended up booking them for my event in Phoenix. Their website is very user friendly and you can easily customize which services you want. Prices were also very transparent which was much appreciated. I did a trial run for hair/makeup before my big day and the stylist gave me some great recommendations based on my skin type and hair length. When it came to the day of my wedding, the team arrived promptly and they were incredibly friendly and professional. On behalf of my entire wedding party, we loved our hair and makeup. I beautiful and confident, and I would definitely use their services again if given the chance!

recommend for anyone looking to get their hair and makeup done for their wedding!

nd not have to travel anywhere on wedding morning. They did hair and airbrush makeup on me, all four of my bridesmaids, and my mom and mother-in-law and they were SO quick and efficient. We ended up being way ahead of schedule! They brought a speaker and played music and they were so fun to talk to, it made for a really nice and relaxing environment on a morning that had the potential to be stressful. It was so important for all of us to really feel like ourselves and the artists nailed it! We all looked so good and natural, just a bit elevated. Everyone kept saying it was the best professional makeup they’ve ever had done! Nothing cake-y or heavy at all, it barely felt like I had anything on my face, and it wore so well all night! They really listened to each of our requests so well. Could not have asked for better hair and makeup artists, please pick them for your wedding!!!

essional and super sweet! And on the wedding day she got all of the bridesmaids makeup and mine done on time. Everyone looked amazing and I'm I truly happy with the work she did!💕

ut just as I had envisioned. I wanted a lot of browns, oranges, rust red and some shimmer to help match the desert sunset. My hair was done in a simple fishtail braid with turquoise accessories. Everyone there was very kind, funny and professional and provided an overall wonderful experience.

tside during an extreme heat warning! Lark was so great and very easy to chit chat with as she worked on our makeup! Our getting ready morning was relaxed and stress free, and the timeline was exactly as estimated!

ter scouring several salons, I came across I Do Hair & Makeup Artistry, where I was pleased to see many beautiful brides whose makeup accentuated their natural beauty, which is exactly what I wanted. Raemie was very prompt and thorough when she answered my numerous questions, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident on my big day. She was also accommodating when I had to reschedule my trial appointment with short notice. Our hair and makeup artist was Lark, who was phenomenal. Lark traveled all the way to Sierra Vista and serviced my mom, grandma, the groom’s mother, and myself, and we all looked and felt spectacular. I appreciated Lark’s attentiveness and applaud the amount of incredible work she put in to make each of us stand out. A huge thank you to the IDHMA team for their talent and professionalism.

sion and executed it perfectly, and my hair & makeup lasted all day and night! My entire bridal party loved their looks as well. I would highly recommend I Do Hair & Makeup for anyone's wedding.

he booking process, Raemie was always very quick to respond and so easy to work with. Overall, a great experience with this company!

ir hair and make up as well and they really rook great care of us. I felt so confident and beautiful, but still felt like ME which is exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much!

esmaids laughing for hours during my wedding day. Her quality of work is also outstanding. I do not wear makeup on a daily basis and was looking for a very natural look. She surpassed my wildest expectations. I looked exactly like myself on my wedding day, just with flawless, dewy skin and incredible eyelashes. Sienna did my hair and also did an incredible job. She made a loose bun with lots of hair tendrils to frame my face and wove some flowers into the back of my hair. Everything stayed in place during a windy day and dancing at night! Here are reasons you should hire I Do Hair and Makeup: Team is very responsive to all communication; I heard back within 48 hours on all my emails Margarita listens to your vision and brings it to life. She is very open to feedback! At my trial I thought my foundation was a smidge too dark and she adjusted it immediately. I also didn’t want huge artificial eyelashes but wanted my eyes to “pop”. She put eyelash extensions only on the outer most lashes and did an incredible job with mascara. No one could tell I had artificial lashes! Received many compliments. Everyone is warm and friendly and will put you at ease! Trial hair & makeup is a great opportunity to “test” your look Makeup will last you throughout your entire day!

or the wedding. On the day of, her team was so professional and relaxed. I like how they recommended not to make a schedule as the morning just flowed very well with girls alternating between getting hair and makeup done. All my bridesmaids hair and makeup looked beautiful and lasted all night!

night!! I would totally recommend them. I was not paid or given anything special for this review. It is real. Reserve someone from this company as soon as possible if you have any need for hair services.

d preferences down to every detail, which made for such a lovely, personalized experience. I felt absolutely beautiful, she absolutely nailed it.

ey were able to squeeze it in no problem… and for the actual make-up and hair itself- flawless!!! All of my bridesmaids and I wanted to feel like our natural selves, but a little “enhanced” and Raemie & team delivered!! We all felt so beautiful and our hair and make-up lasted thru the entire evening! We did the airbrush package. Book them- you will not regret it!!

the free trial for me before the wedding was great! I especially loved Lark - she is so talented and her vibe/energy could not be beat!

ryone in my wedding party a beautiful look that they were happy with even though none of us knew exactly what look we wanted. They were so kind and easy to hang out with on a stressful day. They are professional, punctual, and talented and I cannot recommend their services enough.

le. A solid choice for your makeup and hair needs. Also, she was extremely friendly and even gave us some great restaurant tips for our out of country family to enjoy. Book her!

akeup trial and day-of hair and makeup with Lark and I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out! I had a vintage vision for my look and I felt so lucky to work with Lark who is a complete expert in vintage hair and makeup. Lark was kind and easy to work with! After doing my hair and makeup trial with her, she asked all of the right questions to ensure that we modified anything that I didn't feel 100% about the first time around. I am so thankful to have worked with such an easygoing, kind and knowledgable vendor and especially lucky that Lark has such vintage expertise! Also, my hair and makeup both looked flawless even at the end of the night. Thank you!!

Both my hair and makeup looked amazing the day of. The team she brought with her to assist with my the hair and makeup for the bridesmaids was very professional and did an amazing job. They got everything done perfectly and even ahead of schedule the day of! I’ve had my hair and makeup done for other weddings when I was in the wedding party, but this vendor hands down was the best experience I’ve ever had!

erstand and to purchase, and their team was easy to communicate with. On wedding day, they were on time, efficient, and did such a good job with both hair and makeup for me and my bridal party!

rtist and she was an absolute delight. Her own style is gorgeous, but she made everyone feel so at ease and look beautiful on my wedding day. My trial was perfect and made me feel way more prepared. I love how they take your idea and make it work for YOU, so that you don't look like a different person, just an extra beautiful version of yourself. Thank you Lark and I Do--so grateful for you!

on to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. I hardly wear any makeup on a day-to-day basis so I wanted to make sure that my makeup looked as natural as possible. Raemie gave me a natural look without skipping a beat. Literally everyone at my wedding complemented my hair and makeup. I wholeheartedly recommend I Do Hair and Makeup Artistry for any bride.

ngs I wanted to change because I went into the trial not really knowing what I wanted. I communicated the changes to Chevy and she was SO accommodating and sweet. On the day of my wedding, she had a list of all of the changes I had made, and she made sure to incorporate them. My makeup and hair turned out even better than I could have imagined, and all of my bridesmaids and family members looked incredible as well!

s about looking bad on my wedding day. She was so patient the trial and asked me how I felt at every step of the way. The minimalistic look she gave me day-of was everything I wished for and more. I also cried so many happy tears during my wedding day and the make up stayed intact all night. Raemi and her team were also amazing to help coordinate HAMU across two getting ready rooms. Highly satisfied with choosing I do hair and makeup!!!

looked gorgeous, we were on time, and it was a pleasure.

o did it. I am very very pleased and impressed with their services. I absolutely recommend them!

ed out exactly how I envisioned it - I wanted a more natural look and the airbrushing hit it out of the park. Beautiful braided hairstyle as well! I can't recommend them enough. They also did my mom, sister, and cousin's makeup as well and made them look like princesses!
