Jamie was absolutely wonderful as our wedding officiant! From the beginning, she was professional, responsive, and incredibly easy to work with. She followed up with us, maintained great communication throughout the process, and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. On our wedding day, Jamie arrived early and was completely prepared, which allowed us to simply enjoy the moment without having to worry about anything. She listened to our wishes, respected what was important to us, and made our ceremony feel personal and meaningful. We are so grateful to Jamie for being part of such a special day in our lives. I am a licensed Marriage commissioner here in Virginia. I would love to be part of your big day! I love, Love! It is one of the purest things on this earth and to be part of that, just makes my soul happy. In the beginning of my own personal journey, I was dealing with grief. I needed to find something that made me happy. Then while working a wedding I realized how happy it was making me to be a part of someone else's joy and love. So I set out to become an officiant. A few months later there I was with license in hand. I truly enjoy every ceremony I do and the people I meet.

Jamie was very nice but clearly did not read our script ahead of time. A script which I sent months ahead of time for her to review. I wrote a beautiful script and she went off cou...
rse 73 times often adding in things and then messing up later when the addition she added didn't make sense. Her pauses and chunking of words did not make sense as she did not follow the punctuation or got thrown off by her changes. The words to our vows and ring exchange were changed and different for both of us. Worst of all, many of the changes took away the beauty of the script. Her frequent mistakes were something obvious to our guests who pointed it out too. The groom's name was pronounced wrong at different times throughout the ceremony and I stopped to whisper the correction to her. Later on she replaced our names with "you guys" probably to avoid an incorrect pronunciation. She frequently tripped over her own words or got ahead of herself. I did pick Jamie because she was inexpensive and that is my own fault, however, if this is her norm then I do not believe it is something she should continue doing.
