Helene was so great to work with! We had no idea what we were going to do for our dance and Helene made everything so easy. She choreographed a simple dance for our first dance song and taught us how to put it all together. Working with Helene helped us take away the nerves of our first dance so we could really enjoy our day. If you need help with your first dance I would highly recommend working with Helene. Helene was amazing from start to finish! My husband and I wanted to have a choreographed dance, but with our busy lifestyles, we needed to work with someone who was efficient. We met Helene and within two hours, we had the choreography mostly down. She also records the dance so you can reference it the weeks leading up to the wedding! Thank you, Helene!

We just had our first dance wedding lesson with Helene! She came prepared with simple and elegant choreography that we learned in less than 2 hours. At the end of the lesson she films you doing your routine so you can practice at home before you big day. She’s affordable and is perfect for couples like us who don’t have time to take multiple dance lessons. Thanks Helene for a wonderful morning learning our dance!

My now spouse and I have very little dance experience. We learned about Helene through a referral from a friend. Helene worked with us to figure out the best song and given our experience level crafted choreography that we could handle. During our lesson she was very patient and worked with us to make sure we were comfortable with what we had to practice before parting ways. Our first dance was successful!

Helene came prepared with choreography for us that was elegant yet attainable for two non-dancers! We practiced for about an hour and a half with her and she recorded the video for us so we could practice in the weeks leading up to the wedding.

We had put off our dance lessons between work and my husband being nervous about them, and we were getting down to the wire. Luckily, I found Helene! She offered a "one and done" style service, where you have one meeting with her to learn a choreographed number, which was perfect for us. I had a little experience with choreography (although all solo and none of it remotely recent!) and my husband had no dance experience. We met Helene in a local park, and went over what she had choreographed for us. She was super nice and great at walking us through it step by step, making sure we understood. Once we had run through it several times and got the general hang of it, she took a video for us so that we would be able to practice at home. And that we did! The number she choreographed for us was simple enough but looked impressive. With practice, we were able to pull it off at our wedding without a hitch. Some of our guests even cried they were so moved. We could not have done it without Helene's fantastic choreography and instruction. We both highly recommend her!

Helene is awesome!! She put together a beautiful, easy to learn first dance and was so helpful and patient as we learned it. The whole process was seamless - she's very responsive so scheduling was a breeze, and she's knowledgeable and kind so learning the dance was much easier than we anticipated. Helene was AMAZING!!! My fiance and I knew we wanted to do a choreographed first dance (to ABBA, no less) - not only did Helene choreograph an easy to learn first dance, she helped us figure out where exactly to cut the cover and mix with the original song. We met at a park to learn the dance and Helene filmed us - we used that video to practice until the wedding. Practicing was one of our favorite parts of prepping for the wedding and helped us destress. Our guests loved it and we had a blast! Would highly recommend Helene, especially if you don't necessarily have time built in for multiple lessons before the wedding.

Helene was incredible to work with! My husband and I are not dancers, but we chose an ambitious song. Helene created a simple dance that we could both remember, but still made sure it was special and fun fun for us. Our guests loved it! I would definitely recommend Helene to my friends! Helene was so kind and welcoming! My partner and I had no experience whatsoever and she taught us a gorgeous dance in less than an hour. On the actual wedding day, we remembered every step and it went perfectly. Helene took COVID protocols seriously, was LGBTQ+ friendly, and I can’t say enough good things about her. Don’t waste your time with anybody else for your wedding!

Helene was excellent. My fiancé and I have not ever done any choreographed dances before, and she made it super easy and fun for the both of us! Before we knew it, we had finished the song - and somehow we were able to remember it from start to finish! Excited to practice with our video in the month to come.

Helene was amazing! We didn't have much time to spend on dance lessons, so Helene's format was perfect for us. In a single lesson she taught us the dance and helped us practice it until we had it down. She then takes a video of you doing the dance on your phone - which was ingenious! After our lesson we didn't get the chance to practice for a few weeks and had forgotten most of it, but we simply played the video in the background while we practiced and it quickly came back to us. The dance was easy for us to learn, with fairly simple moves, but choreographed, which was exactly what we were going for. Our dance was a hit! And the process was really fun. I would definitely recommend using Helene - especially if you are on a time crunch or too busy to attend multiple lessons.

Helene is amazing! I strongly recommend going to Helene if you don’t know how to a dance or unsure of how to start your wedding dance. My husband and I were clueless about our wedding dance but Helene made it very easy for us to learn the steps. We really loved our experience with her; she made it fun! I’ll definitely go back to her for any other dance lesson. She is great!

My husband and I are so happy we chose Helene to choreograph our first dance. It was the easiest and most convenient way for us to learn our dance- one lesson was all it took. Helene then videotaped our session so that we could refer back to it when practicing at home. This was so helpful especially because my husband and I have busy work schedules. Our guests loved our dance, and we had so much fun doing it!

I highly recommend taking a lesson with Helene if you are at all unsure about your first dance. Our lesson was better than I even could have expected! Such an easy yet helpful experience. My fiancé and I absolutely loved our time with Helene. She greeted us with warm hospitality and off we started with our dance routine. The choreography was superb. We are not dancers, but she seemed to make us dancers! Simple yet elegant and went so well with the lyrics of the song. I am excited to show our dance to our wedding guests! She even participated in my 100 day video log countdown to our wedding! :)

Wow. Helene was absolutely amazing. She choreographed a dance for my fiance and I in addition to my father and I. She came with it already ready. She walked us through each move and was so patient. The owner, Helene, curated a magical wedding dance arrangement for my fiancé and me that was beyond my expectations. Helene was creative, flexible, and patient with us. We loved our lesson with Helene! My fiance and I didn't want to take a whole set of dance lessons through a company, and Helene was great about hearing our song, choreographing a dance to that one song, and teaching us that dance. We learned it in an hour and took home a video of ourselves dancing to practice. Helene was positive, easy to work with, and professional. She's extremely talented, came to our home, made in-person adjustments to better fit us, filmed it, and gave us full notes for reference. We couldn't have been more pleased! We are not dancers by any means, but Helene worked with us to create an incredible routine that we can't wait to debut at our reception! She had it all planned in advance for us, was able to communicate it incredibly well, and we left feeling like we are going to be able to pull this off! We really appreciate what she did for us. I love that Helene was very open to my crazy request, she was easy to communicate with and very flexible (which I really appreciate)!
Both my fiancé and I have 2 left feet, yet she was able to, on the spot, adjust the moves for us. She was very encouraging during practice, which we really needed in order to continue.
I also appreciate that the music I provided was in a different language and even though she didn't understand she asked questions and captured my vision.
My fiancé and I still have a long way to go but we are committed to practicing to perfect our moves & we are confident that we will make Helene proud :-)

Helene is amazing!! She came over to our apartment and was fully prepared with dance moves for our song of choice. She makes learning incredibly easy and fun. It only took us an hour to learn the dance and she did a video on our phone so that we can rehearse leading up to the big day. I highly recommend using Helene!!

Helene did an amazing job at creating our dance. We had a tough song "Crush" by Dave Matthews Band. We told her what parts we liked from the song, and she was able to put something together that didn't require us to have any dance experience. We learned our dance in two hours, and we practiced every other day. My husband was happy that we didn't have to dance like high schoolers and it surprised our guests. The lesson was money well spent. My husband and I still flirtaciously dance to our wedding song. Thanks again Helene!!!

I am sure getting a choreographed dance and lesson from Helene will be one of the better investments we have made with our wedding. We chose an instrumental song that we had no idea how to dance to. We looked into other vendors but didn't want to spend our evenings sitting in traffic so we could go to multiple lessons and have the whole experience end up feeling like a chore. With Helene we sent her the song, she made suggestions on how to edit it so it wouldn't feel long to the guests, and she came up with choreography that makes us look great and we were able to pick up on. She sent us a video of our dance within 24 hours of the lesson and we could not be happier with the whole process. Now we can practice our dance in the privacy of our own home, and according to our schedule. I highly, highly recommend Helene!

Helene is amazing! I took ballet classes when I was a kid and my fiance prefers sports talk radio rather than music (honestly, he can't hear a beat if his life depended on it)! This is the extent of our ability to dance. We had never danced together in our lives and were very nervous about the first dance at the wedding reception.
But we put our hopes in Helene's hands, and she did not let us down! We had sent her the song and a youtube video of a dance we liked and she took it from there! She choreographed the dance based on the lyrics, not the beat so that my fiance could follow along and remember the steps. After about an hour and a half, she had taught us a 2.5 minute dance and videoed it for us so we could practice leading up to the big day.
Both my fiance and myself are so happy we decided to work with Helene. She is so kind and patient! We can't wait to bust out the dance and impress our friends and family!

Helene was a lifesaver! Neither my husband or I can dance or really have any rhythm for the most part. We were really nervous to take a lesson never having danced before. Helene was ready for us, with a really easy to remember dance she had prepared ahead of time for us. We spent about an hour and a half together learning the dance and were sent on our way with a video. We practiced almost every day before our wedding and nailed our dance on our wedding day. My husband and I really enjoyed working with Helene. We wanted a wedding dance that was easy enough for beginners, but made us look like pros. When researching other dance teachers, it seemed like every place was trying to convince me that we would need dozens of classes before we could possibly look decent on the dance floor. I loved that Helene said she could teach us what we needed in just one session. And she did! Helene made us feel at ease, and was able to get my nervous husband to relax, and gave him the confidence he could do it. She had our dance completely choreographed before we arrived, and was able to get us to the point of going all the way through the dance before we left her place. We practiced diligently and ended up performing flawlessly at our wedding. Thank you so much Helene, we couldn’t have done it without you!
