Our wedding would not have been nearly as incredible as it was with Ally and her team with I Do Wedding Services! They had everything together! Ally was super accommodating with scheduling and was available anytime we needed her providing ideas, resolutions to our conflicts, and her professional advice. You was so down to earth and our entire wedding party and family loved working with her! She handled EVERYTHING and when I say everything, there were things that I would have never thought of that she took care of. We are so so appreciative of this group of people! We we always on schedule and she quickly handled anything that came up! I can 100% thank Ally for giving my husband and I the most beautiful wedding we could have ever dreamed of! She is truly a rockstar! If you're considering a wedding planner I would recommend her 100%!
Well, it has been a month since the wedding of our daughter and I am dreading this review.
When we met with Allly initially we liked her and we were assured that she worked with a team. A few months after we hired her she informed us that she was pregnant and that there was a strong possibility of having a premature birth. However, she assured us that her TEAM would handle everything if need be.
Things began to unravel at that point!
We met to discuss the timeline and placement of items at the venue. I had to contact her after two weeks later to request our timeline and she knew that I needed it for the photographer. She seemed irritated and handled it the night before our meeting with our photographer.
The week of the wedding she informed us that she was having contractions and that she had confirmed the rehearsal with her staff. Everything would be handled and not to worry.
When we met with Ally at the property to discuss the placement of items she didn't ask for the contracts for the vendors to verify with them. However, I brought them and gave them to her. I don't think that she would have contacted them. I followed up and asked her if she was contacting them because I didn't get the feeling that she was interested. I took pictures of the items and she never asked for them she said that she knew where things should be placed.
The day before the wedding she informed us that nobody could attend our rehearsal. This was shocking and sent us into a panic. Much later in the day she was able to find someone to attend the rehearsal and Ally gave the young woman the wrong location.
The day of the wedding Ally was not there either. All night we feared that her assistants would not show up. However, they did and were wonderful. I paid them extra because they were paid a flat fee from Ally.
When I spoke to Ally and explained about the stress that she put us through she claimed that the wedding was beautiful because of her services. We met with Ally twice and we had difficulty getting her to fulfill her duties. She became very defensive when I addressed her with issues.
I highly suggest that you look elsewhere for a wedding planner. Ally is never available and her attitude/defensiveness is very unprofessional/
We felt a little bait and switch with Ally's services. We were given the impression when we meet with her that wedding planning was her primary job and she had a larger firm that she portrayed. We found out the week of the wedding that this was not the case. Wedding planning seemed to be a part time business or she is trying to build the business. She was unable to meet with any of our vendors during normal business hours nor was anyone on her "staff". We were at the mercy of her time schedule the week of the wedding for meetings. At the rehearsal, she had the guys on the wrong side of the alter (my sister-in-law had to point it out) and the groomsmen standing next to me in the wrong order. Kind of wedding 101.... Tip money that was to be given to our piano player was never given and ended up getting lost and never found. To this day we don't know what happened to it. The story kept changing. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Do your research, ask her a ton of questions, get referrals from previous clients and vendors before you hire her. All we can say is thank go for my best man....
I have been working with Ally for awhile now. We have been in the mist of planning my wedding and she has been nothing but helpful. She is available and responds quickly whenever I have a question. You tell her exactly what you want and she will make it happen! Not only is she the sweetest person on the planet, but she is also very caring. She gives you 100% of her time to make sure your day is the most special day. I can't wait until my wedding. If anyone is looking for a wedding planner this is your girl !!! Thank you Ally for everything you do!
Ally was the perfect fit for my husband and I. We wanted to the majority of the planning on our own, but Ally was able to add just enough help as far as recommending vendors, and keeping our stress levels down! We were married in July and had an outdoor wedding- Ally remembered every small detail including water for us during picture taking, and towels after cake got smashed into each other's faces. Ally was extremely professional, and helped to give us the wedding of our dreams. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.
