We had the best experience with Alessandro. I strongly recommend. He is fun, talented, easy to work with, HIlARIOUS…. every class was as enjoyable as the next. We were very sad when our sessions ended. In addition to being a great dance teacher is an exceptional human being.

Sandro is absolutely incredible and without reservation I fully endorse you hiring him for any and all dance lessons. My fiancé and I worked with Sandro to learn our three minute first dance for our wedding. We had no formal dance trading of any kind. Sandra made learning exciting and fun. He built our confidence. I made us feel comfortable right away. Sandra is a true gem of a human being he is kind and warm and engaging and he cares deeply about his clients, not just to teach him dancing, but also as human beings with whom he wants to form a deep connection You must work with Sandro. Sandro choreographed our three minute first dance. He was perfect with beginners - breaking down the moves and finding the best sequence for us. We booked him for three lessons and within the first two we had the entire dance sequences, the third lesson we refined the dance and added personality. Sandro helps keep the sessions light and playful, we always left with a smile on our face.

We could not have asked for a better dance instructor! Sandro is very passionate and helpful - he is always willing to go for extra time, send guidance outside of sessions, and make dance practice really fun! You can tell that he truly loves what he does, and he is worth every penny because he cares more about your success than trying to squeeze more lessons out of you. We learned more in our first session than we did with every other teacher we tried combined. He is capable of leading or following, which makes him a great instructor for both partners. He is also an excellent choreographer who was able to find songs that we would like and develop routines (all done on his own time). We attended a wedding a couple of months before our own. We saw the couple execute a gorgeous first dance while having fun. This, of course, started us thinking about our own lack of a dance. That couple used Sandro for lessons and recommended him wholeheartedly. So we reached out. Sandro responded promptly and enthusiastically. A week later we were at his studio. Sandro was fantastic for what we needed (which was a LOT of help and guidance). All we had were a song, four left feet, and a desire not to embarrass ourselves too badly. Our first dance was one of the best parts of our wedding and the training with Sandro has been definitely the best part of the wedding preparations!!! The guests were cheering so loudly! We’re not dancers, so this exciting dance came as a surprise to everyone. We kept receiving praise the entire night, and everyone danced hard and excitedly the whole evening. I know Sandro made my wedding truly special. He didn’t just help with the dance; he brought something else by unleashing something we didn’t know we had. He’s incredibly generous with his time and patience. He also created the perfect edit for our song, so we had a two-minute version that didn’t feel too short or interrupted. He did everything to help us master the dance quickly, and he succeeded. In just two lessons, we structured the whole dance, and the third lesson was to polish it all only after we spent a few weeks practicing independently at home, which was so much fun for us to do. The dance structure was connected to the music, but we were free to find our own variations. We got so comfortable with it that we could chat and laugh while dancing; naturally, the dance became our own. Sandro told us from the start that the most magical part of this process is between the end of the lessons with him and the wedding. He’s right! I was also amazed at how well he taught us the importance of lead and follow - ladies, if you try to back-lead, he’ll let you know! He told me I was under Taliban control for the dance duration, which cracked me up :) - but he’s right! This only works if the leader leads and the follower follows. The dance was so natural and organic because of that. Sandro gave us some great tips in practice, like using all the moves from the routine and improvising with another song. It’s a great way to learn how to lead and follow. Sandro is a total comedy genius! We couldn’t stop laughing. He had us in stitches. From the moment we met, he made us feel like old pals. We had no idea he could teach these two not-dancers, but he totally rocked it! We’re hooked on dancing now. We had an absolute blast, and we’re so grateful to have had Sandro as our teacher. Adam and I will never forget this time with him. We’re so lucky to have him as a friend and mentor. Oh, and I’m glad Adam’s not a Taliban, haha! But I’ll definitely follow his lead, promise! Sandro is truly a miracle worker. He taught me and my fiance (who does not dance at all!) a fully personalized slow to fast dance in less than a week before our wedding (yes that is right). We went from hopeless to dance pros in 3 lessons (and could have been 2 if we practiced more). He is seriously amazing - authentic, supportive, hilarious, honest. I came across Sandro’s profile on The Knot when searching for a “first dance” choreographer and after reading his MANY 5-star reviews, I decided to reach out. From the moment I gave him a call, I could tell he was not only going to be a great teacher but also a blast to work with. He was extremely responsive, communicative, energetic, and outlined the process very clearly. Unlike other “first dance” dance teachers I had heard about, Sandro works with you in a private room without any other couples and you only pay for the number of lessons you need/want. My husband and I already loved to dance and were initially looking to have just a few parts of our song choreographed but after our first lesson, we knew we wanted to have him choreograph the entire thing. We learned the full dance within two lessons, went home and practiced, then had a third and final lesson with him to add his “spark” and make sure we felt super confident. We left our last lesson dripping sweat and smiling from ear to ear. Not only will Sandro give you the tools to make you feel great, but you will also be on the verge of peeing your pants from laughing with him throughout the process. This was truly our favorite part of the entire wedding year. We had the time of our lives with our dance leading up to and at the wedding!! Sandro did an incredible job preparing us for our wedding dance in every aspect. In only a few lessons, he covered everything from teaching us basic steps, choreographing a whole routine for our song, editing the audio for our song to match the routine and sending us home with videos of the routine that we could use to practice. Overall a fun guy to work but also very good at making efficient use of time.

My partner and I took three lessons with Sandro before our wedding! He gave us everything we needed to be finished in two, but we did a third lesson to fine tune the dance and feel more comfortable. He did a great job designing manageable but beautiful choreography from beginning to end, and he put together a sound clip for us to use on the day of the wedding to ensure that the music we danced to was exactly what we had practiced with. We had a lot of fun at practices and when we did our final dance at the wedding. He worked with both of us and gave us great feedback on how to make the dance smoother and more comfortable for both of us. I can’t recommend him enough!

Sandro was amazing! We started with another company, but felt like the dance was too formal and difficult. We called Sandro two weeks before the wedding based on a recommendation from a friend. He fit us in to his schedule and put our minds at ease. We were so nervous to do our first dance together as a married couple, but Sandro made this experience something we actually enjoyed doing. Man, where do I even start with Sandro. He is truly the best at what he does, and it's not even close. If you're looking for dance lessons / wedding choreography, you're in the right place (I mean...just look at the reviews). Everyone was floored at our wedding when we performed our dance, and it was one of the most special moments from our wedding. We came to Sandro as two (relatively) helpless individuals who had never done any formal dancing / choreo and left with an incredible dance that felt so natural to perform. The progress we made over the course of just 4 lessons (and practice in between, of course) was incredible, and it was 150% due to Sandro and his method. He is a true artist in every sense of the word. We came in with a song that wasn't even in English, and just a couple listens in, he came up with an entire routine. The brilliance of how he meticulously breaks down the routine into individual moves only becomes clear when he helps you piece it all together - that's when it hits you that you can really do it. He has a really special way of slowly but surely building up your confidence. Trust me when I say that if you buy into his method (and practice like he tells you to), you WILL get it. He makes it inevitable. The best part of working with Sandro though is that it's just fun. I certainly wouldn't consider myself a dancer, but I had a blast learning with him and my fiancee. His energy is infectious, he's so kind, and when he needs to be, he's adamant (for all the right reasons). Sandro is a gem and his lessons are easily worth 2-3x what he's charging - look no further, you won't regret it.

Sandro is incredible. He worked with us on our wedding choreography and turned us from having 2 left feet into impressing all of our guests and most importantly, ourselves. He made class so much fun, and even when it was tough, it was a pleasure because we knew we were learning from the best. We learned all of the best moves and even though our song wasn't in English, he somehow managed to match all the moves to what the lyrics were saying. Sandro is a miracle worker and a one-of-a-kind national treasure! We reached out through his site with 6 weeks until our wedding date, and by the next evening we were making plans for our first lesson and music choices. We threw a lot at him, being not at all confident or experienced dancers, and cutting a piece of music that mixed acoustic and original versions of our song with very different instrumentation and mood, and longer than an average first dance song at 3 minutes. At our first lesson, he spent a few minutes listening to the song, and then immediately choreographed on the fly an amazing dance sequence that fit the first 45 seconds of music perfectly. He creates such a welcoming and low-pressure atmosphere, while still pushing you to improve your technique and presentation. He was always very flexible on working the lessons we needed into our tight timeline. You can tell he isn't satisfied until he knows he's created the best dance he can for you- he would often spend the first part of a lesson re-evaluating and polishing a sequence we'd learned at the last one, always with great results! He was also totally open and gracious about working in our naive suggestions for certain elements we wanted to include at some moments. As ballroom dance novices, his focus was not on teaching us a lot of fundamentals of footwork etc, which is reasonable given that he created and taught us a complete routine in 5 1-hour lessons, which really impressed our family and friends. I'm certain if you specifically asked for more of a focus on one aspect or another he would happily oblige and teach it to you capably! He's a great teacher and we learned a lot about how to dance with a partner, from the perspectives of both the lead and the follower. Sandro is also an incredibly kind person and you can tell he loves doing this work as a way of putting something positive out into the world. If you want to put together a fantastic and memorable first dance, at a very good rate in terms of both your money and your time, and have a lot of fun doing it, look no further!

We had a fantastic experience with Sandro. First, he made a custom edit of our song to cut it down to 2 minutes, and it was very well done. He did such a great job choreographing our dance with moves that were fun, impressive, and yet totally doable. The lessons themselves were really efficient - Sandro taught us so much in each session and had us take lots of videos to refer back to later. We were totally set after only 3 lessons (and lots of at home practice). We LOVED our dance and truly couldn’t have asked for more. Our friends and family were blown away. It set the tone for so much fun on the dance floor. Highly recommend!

My husband and I took 5 lessons with Sandro before our wedding to learn a first dance. Sandro was amazing and helped edit our song down so it was shorter and more manageable to learn a dance to. He also breaks everything down into easy to learn steps, and we would take a video after each lesson so we could practice at home. During the lessons he kept saying this move or that move is for a "dress moment" and at our wedding when I was in my dress the moments were there! My fiance also really enjoyed the lessons which I think is important to add, I think he got the most into the dance lessons out of every thing we had to do for the wedding.

Sandro was an excellent teacher. We told him our vision, song choice, and dancing experience, and he was able to choreograph and adapt a dance to our capabilities. His professionalism and the experience with dancing was very on spot. He could quickly tell the genre of the dancing we were anticipating just by listening to the song. Sandro respected our time, and made sure we used our time efficiently during each class. We spent 2-3 weeks in between classes in order to internalize what was learned in class. This was a very personalized experience. You can tell he cares on a personal level about imparting proper dancing skills beyond just the dance you are preparing for, such as how to lead, partner dynamics, listening to musicality, etc. Sandro has a great personality, and does not hesitate to interject with jokes at any time, helping to diffuse any anxiety and creating a fun learning environment. We ended up taking a total of 5 classes for a choreography that lasted 3 minutes. This was a very fun experience, and we felt we became closer with each other after this experience. Sandro helped us created a magical moment on our wedding day. Many guests enjoyed the dance and some even cried. We recommend making the same decision.

Sandro was amazing!! He worked with our schedule and I loved that he provided a video we can reference to practice our moves. We felt confident in our abilities by the time of our wedding and we both did not have any dance experience! We even whipped out some of the moves he taught us later in the night.

We had the best time with Sandro! From the moment we met him we were laughing and having fun and also learning quickly. Sandro makes it really easy to learn a beautiful dance to any song you want in a short amount of time. My husband and I came to Sandro 3 weeks before the wedding and took 6 lessons and nailed our first dance. Neither of us have any prior training, in fact my husband has a hard time holding a beat haha, but he came out of these lessons as a great dancer and led our first dance like a pro. Everyone at the wedding was so impressed. It was such a great activity for us to do as a couple and we felt like we accomplished a lot. Sandro loves what he does and does it so well while making you laugh and feel at ease. He is so invested in your success and packs a lot into an hour and you really feel like you get a lot done in a short amount of time. And you can apply these skills to any dance in the future! I honestly cannot say enough good things about Sandro. He was such an incredible joy to work with — my husband and I looked forward to our lessons. Sandro is an incredible dance instructor. My fiancé knows how to dance but it was my very first time even attempting. The whole process was fun, stress-free, and seamless. I went from not knowing how to dance to feeling confident in my ability to go through a beautifully choreographed dance within a matter of months. He was also incredibly helping in tackling my anxiety. He was generous with his time, frequently going over our allotment to ensure I left feeling confident, and made sure I had all the tools I needed to feel comfortable when I finally danced. He is also very knowledgeable about the whole process. He gave us tons of actionable advice, the most important of which was asking our wedding band for a demo of our song before we decided to use it. PLEASE LISTEN TO HIM—the band’s version is almost never what you expect, and the last thing you want to be is surprised and confused when you hear it the first time on your wedding day! He suggested that and comparing with the recording, and we listened, and eventually opted for the recording. He’s an expert and a really fun guy. Can’t imagine doing this without him.

My wife and I cannot recommend Sandro enough. He is a total burst of sunshine. And yes, he will teach you to dance. Watching him conjure up our dance out of thin air when we played him our song ("Can't Take My Eyes Off You" by Frankie Valli) was nothing short of watching a real artist at work. Be prepared for his style of Sicilian sassiness and tough love, which in some cases can be as effective as couples therapy. Dance with this man.

Since we had very little time, he really worked on moves we could do and gave us tips to master some of the more "complex" dance moves. We were able to perform our wedding dance confidently with just two lessons and some practice at home.
