At first, she seemed like an excellent choice for our wedding officiant, she was responsive and she gave us money-saving tips on the initial zoom call that I had with her. To be fair, my mother and my fiancé initially had reservations, yet I felt strongly at the time, so I booked her anyway one year out, and I paid the 50% deposit. We did not have a written contract. We had a second call with her about six months out from the wedding, and she gave us a link where we could fill out a form for her to look over and start working on our script for the wedding day. During this call, she let us know that about 30 days out, she would have it over for us to review. I texted her the second week of October, and she had let me know when I asked politely, that the draft would be over to us the next week. Two weeks passed before I realized that it didn’t get sent, because I was busy getting some things settled for the upcoming wedding. On Saturday, November 1, exactly two weeks out from our wedding, and over one week away from when she told me I should expect the script, I texted her again and politely asked when we can expect it, since the wedding is now two weeks away, and since myself, my mother, and my fiancé would really like to look over the script. She advised me that she was working on it that same day and would have it to me the very next day. If there was a reason for the delay, or she had things going on in her personal life, and she had provided some type of explanation when the next day came and went; and I still didn’t have it, perhaps I’d be a little more understanding, but there was no communication whatsoever during that time. As the bride; my only job two weeks out from the wedding is to focus on my skincare and my mental and physical health, and to make sure that I am getting enough sleep and preparing for the big day. I should not ever have to chase down my vendors. Finally, we decided to hire a different officiant. I politely explained to Katherine in a group text with my mother and my fiancé that we would be canceling her services and we had found someone else. I explained that the expectations were not met with deadlines and communication, and I was met for the third time with, I will get it to you later today I was almost finished. This is something that I have heard twice before now, and as a weddings and events violinist, when I tell a client something will be done, it is done within 24 hours of the timeline I give them. The way that we were treated was just not okay with us, and it’s not a good way to do business in general. I do not enjoy writing bad reviews, however, her refusal to refund the deposit, due to our cancellation, is simply wrong. We had no in person meetings with her where gas money or travel was required, and although I understand the short notice was unexpected, it was also unexpected for us; and we kept getting pushed back every time I had asked about when we would receive the script. My mother had been the one to tell her that we decided not to hire her, as I was still recovering from emergency oral surgery, a couple days prior, and yet, she excessively texted the group chat and messaged me privately saying there would be no refund. Why did she message me privately outside of the group chat? This was aggressive.

The ceremony felt personal (so personal that our guests thought we wrote it!), and really encompassed who we are as individuals and a couple. It was heartfelt, funny and charming- everything we could possibly hope for. We didn't have a rehearsal (as we flew from UK), but Katherine walked us through everything we needed to do, the timings, and made sure everything flowed perfectly. She was friendly and approachable and our guests loved her. The groom found her to be a huge calming influence whilst waiting to go out, reassuring and kind. Her communication with us over the 2 years was fantastic, with regular updates, and able to answer any questions. We also used her to do married by mail, which was quick, easy and well explained and took a lot of pressure off us when we arrived. We were able to sign and notarize in the UK and have it ready with Katherine before we even landed. I would highly recommend this service as Katherine walked us through the whole thing, and it was one less thing to worry about. Everything was incredible smooth and I can't vouch for Katherine enough. Amazing from start to finish, everything we hoped for and more. Highly, highly recommend her to everyone.

As an international couple getting married in the States, Katherine made everything so easy for us and guided us through the legality of getting married. discovered that not only does Katherine offer officiating services, but she also offers marriage license services as well. When we had questions she answered her emails very quickly and made the process a breeze. Her ensuring she had the license as well worked out great because it was one less thing we had to worry about forgetting at home. About a month prior to the ceremony we had a video chat with Katherine and she made us feel like we had been old friends for years. She learned things about us and incorporated that into our ceremony script. We loved that she including our dogs that were obviously unable to come to the wedding and when she found out that we were blending our families with my kids, she asked us if we wanted to do her signature "Pinky Promise" and let me just tell you- it made my teenage children feel SO included and signified how we are really bonding as a family in this marriage. And it brought so many of our guests to tears. If we could give Kathering 100 stars- we would!

Katherine does this everyday, she knows how to write and structure a ceremony. And she does some really unique things I’ve never seen before. Most weddings the ceremony is the boring part everyone just has to watch to her to the party. With Katherine the ceremony was the thing people are still talking about. It was so beautiful and unique. We also used her Rose unity ceremony which Katherine hand made and was truly gorgeous. Katherine told us when we first met that she would be our fairy godmother, and she really was. When we saw her the day of our wedding it was as if we’d known her for years. If you’re unsure I urge you to work with Katherine - I guarantee you won’t regret it!

Not only was she sensitive to our needs as this was a renewal, but went above and beyond! The vow she crafted were absolutely perfect, her responses to my questions were immediate and on point, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The photographer that she partnered with was also amazing, as the venue she had recommended. As a notary and officiant myself, I can honestly say that she is an officiant’s officiant!

truly cared about what my partner and I wanted for our ceremony. We were able to Zoom together, chat on the phone, and Facebook message back and forth for quick questions. I had zero worry leading up to the wedding and on our wedding day when it came to our ceremony. She is so professional and kind and witty and charming. What sealed the deal for my partner and I was the family pinky promise that she does for blended families. This part of our ceremony meant EVERYTHING to us and meant the world to us. My children loved being involved and loved making promises together as a family. In these photos I see my sensitive and big hearted daughter who loves her momma more than anything and we grew up together. I see my son being so proud of the family he now has and so happy. 100/10 highly recommend Katherine and we will forever hold these memories close because of her.

y. I was given Katherine’s number from a venue I thought I was going to work with. The venue didn’t end up working out but I still had Katherine! She went above and beyond for me and helped me set up the whole thing. She found me a location, made a beautiful bouquet (and boutonnière), set me up with a great photographer, and was literally there for me every single second I needed her! My parents are obsessed with all things Disney and she took that and incorporated it into the ceremony. Katherine created the most magical ceremony that we will never forget. She also gave my parents the cutest wedding certificate. I live in NY and I was very stressed about setting this up being so far away and making sure my parents didn’t find out. Katherine spent so much time helping me make sure I had everything in place and ready for the day. I can not say enough about her and how thankful I am to have met her. If you are in Florida and are looking for an officiant she is a must!! She will make your day so special and make you feel like family!!!

w our officiant was the best that they have ever seen. She is very open to any type of fandom and helped to embrace my love for Disney and Harry Potter. She even went through the trouble to dress as a witch on the hottest day in March for our wedding. We originally were supposed to get married in 2021, but because of Covid we had to postpone a year. Katherine was completely willing to help us even though we had to push the wedding back a year. I can’t recommend her enough and I’m truly thankful we went with her!
