Olya and Tony: Your Wedding Storytellers
We are Olya and Tony, and we’ve been capturing love stories together for over a decade. Our approach to photography is simple: we observe, we capture, and we tell the unique and beautiful story of your day through our lens. Each wedding brings its own emotions, surprises, and memories, and we are honored to be the ones who preserve those moments for you to cherish forever.
Be yourself, and we’ll take care of the rest.
One thing we hear all the time from our couples is, “We’re awkward in front of the camera!” And we love that! We adore couples who laugh, who are playful and maybe a little silly—it’s those genuine, unguarded moments that make the best photos. We’ll guide you through it, ensuring that your photos feel natural, fun, and most importantly, reflect the real you. You’ll be amazed at how different your photos will look with a professional who understands flattering angles and how to direct you just enough to feel confident, but not over-posed.
We’re unobtrusive and blend into the background, allowing your day to unfold naturally. But when it’s needed—whether it’s giving direction for the perfect group shot or adjusting a detail—we’ll step in to ensure everything looks amazing. While we capture all the key moments and formal portraits, what we truly love are the candid, in-between moments. Those real, spontaneous interactions are the ones that tell the authentic story of your wedding day.
Our Story: Olya and Tony
We met in 2011 as photographers at the New York Auto Show, instantly connecting over our shared passions and humor. Over the years, as we photographed weddings and spent more time together, we realized we were more than just colleagues—we were meant for each other. After four years of working side by side, we fell in love. A year later, we got engaged on the West Coast and married just one month after! Our love story continues to inspire us in our work, and we feel so fortunate to capture the love stories of others. Together, we create magic—each of us pushing the other to be better both as people and as photographers.
Your Wedding is About You
Every wedding is a reflection of the couple’s unique journey, and that’s why we take the time to get to know you personally. Learning about your dreams, personalities, and the details that make your love story special helps us capture authentic images that truly reflect who you are. Our photography style is all about revealing the real, unfiltered emotions of your day—the love, the joy, the surprises.
Your wedding day will be filled with extraordinary moments—intimate, surprising, and joyous. When captured creatively and with care, those moments will shine through as timeless heirlooms, instantly taking you back to the essence of your day.
At the end of the day, it’s not just about beautiful photos—it’s about telling your story in a way that captures the heart of your day. And that’s what we’re here to do.

Olya & Tony were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day!!! They made us feel so comfortable and at ease, ensuring we were truly in the moment and photo ready all day...
. We are already blown away by the sneak peak, and the feelings and stories they were able to capture in each shot. We hired them for photography and videography and would highly recommend to anyone! Thanks for capturing our special day so perfectly!
Olya and Tony at I Wanna Marry were the best photographers we could have asked for on our wedding day!!! We met Olya and Tony on a get-to-know-you zoom session and I was blown away...
by their portfolio — I knew we would be in capable hands and we had to book them. I pored over their pictures on the website and became so eager to have our own engagement and wedding pictures to obsess over! They have an excellent comprehensive package with a wedding album and 2 parent albums in addition to an engagement session and associated album. Scheduling our engagement session was so easy and we had a blast at our sunrise Central Park cherry blossom photoshoot! We quickly loosened up in front of the camera with Tony and Olya’s tips and tricks and the pictures came out so beautifully; we shared them immediately to all our family and friends who loved them! Leading up to our wedding, Olya and Tony were very organized with their requested documents and had coordinated with my day of planner to discuss the timeline so by the morning of the wedding, we had squared away as many decisions as possible. While my husband and I were initially tentative in the first minutes of our engagement session, on our wedding day we felt like muses and both blossomed in front of the camera showing our silliness, genuine love, and comfort, both with each other and with our excellent photographers! Soft-spoken but direct and clear, their synergy is unmatched! Not only are our bridal and wedding portraits superb (based on our sneak peek pics) but they captured such tender and candid moments with our family and friends that represent everyone so beautifully. I’m so thankful for their artistic eye and their intuition; I am sad the wedding is over but so thankful and excited to have our pictures forever!!
Olya and Tony were absolutely amazing as our wedding photographers, cannot recommend them enough! They're complete professionals, as well as incredibly kind and easy to work with -...
from our initial video chat with them to the wedding day itself.
When we started looking at photographers, one of the things that impressed us with their portfolio was how happy their couples looked - not at all stiff or overly posed, you could just see the joy and fun coming right out of the pictures.
We did an engagement shoot with them at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, and the shots they got were just gorgeous - Tony has an amazing eye for style, color, and framing, and Olya is so wonderful at giving gentle guidance and suggestions for how to set up the shots beautifully. Amazing teamwork and coordination between the two of them.
For our wedding, they were incredibly accommodating and flexible, coming to both our rehearsal dinner for some candids, as well as the full wedding day itself. We're over the moon with the shots they got, as well as the fact that they happily captured our ringbearer, our dog Miya, in some great pictures as well! Thank you guys so much for such magical pictures! :)
Working with Tony and Olya was beyond anything we could have imagined. They didn’t just capture our wedding day at Hudson House in Jersey City—they immortalized it in the most stun...
ning, breathtaking way possible. From our first look, with the city as our backdrop, to every intimate, emotional moment, they transformed what was a rainy day into a masterpiece of light, emotion, and beauty. Every shot, every angle was perfect.
Before the wedding, I had the chance to meet with Olya, and that made all the difference. She took the time to sit down with us and really listen to what we wanted. We talked through our vision for the day, and Olya helped shape that vision into something even better than we imagined. She also worked with us to create a timeline that kept everything running smoothly without ever feeling rushed. Her professionalism and creativity were exactly what we needed, and it gave me so much confidence going into the big day.
Olya was also incredible during the getting ready process. She was so attentive to every little detail—the dress, the shoes, the rings, and all the small, meaningful touches that might have been overlooked. She captured everything beautifully, and her calm, professional presence helped me feel relaxed in the midst of all the excitement. It felt like having a close friend there who just happens to be an extraordinary photographer.
During our engagement session in Curaçao, Tony and Olya made us feel like absolute superstars. We weren’t just taking photos—we were living a dream. They even created a short video alongside the session, and it’s something so deeply beautiful that we’ll show it to our children and their children. It was an experience we’ll never forget, and neither will anyone else who sees their work.
Their ability to direct us, make us feel comfortable, and anticipate moments is nothing short of magic. Tony and Olya work together with such seamless synergy, always one step ahead, making sure every single detail is captured beautifully. From the very first planning stages to the final shot, they took care of everything—keeping the timeline, offering ideas, and helping us relax, while making every moment an experience to savor.
Tony and Olya are worth every single penny. The way they captured the essence of our love, the laughter, the tears, and the joy—it’s priceless. I can’t imagine anyone else I’d trust to capture all of our future milestones, because I know that they’ll always go above and beyond.
If you’re looking for photographers who will not just meet your expectations but blow them out of the water, look no further. Tony and Olya’s passion, talent, and energy are unmatched. I am beyond excited to continue working with them for every big moment in our lives. They are truly one of a kind.
Olya and Tony were incredible. I knew they were the perfect choice for us as soon as we had our first video call. They were both fun, professional, and immediately felt like o...
ld friends. Knowing that they have been in the industry for a while put my nerves at ease. Every step of the way, Olya was there to help- not just with photography questions but with scheduling questions, day of concerns, and just general advice! Our engagement shoot was SO much fun, and the photos reflect that. Tony has an amazing eye and he knew the perfect spots in Hoboken for photos. The day of our wedding went off without a hitch, and much of that is thanks to these two. Olya was able to manage everyone and make sure we got all the shots we needed. In the end, our wedding was a perfect day and a lot of that is thanks to I Wanna Marry. PS: Our photos are out of this world <3

e creative locations throughout Morristown for our engagement photos and happily included our dog. We had so much fun on wedding day at The George Hotel in Montclair (highly recommend for classy wedding pics). All to say the final photos were so striking and timeless. We felt like Tony & Olya were part of the family and friends celebrating with us on wedding day.
Olya and Tony are on a completely different level. It’s truly art when you watch someone love what they do. They are professionals and skilled craftsmen. For example, we originally...
planned to have our first look at a nearby park, but they suggested that we book a private area instead. Both my fiancé and I were skeptical and unsure if we should, since it required us to spend a little more. All I can say is that I’m glad we did. You can’t control the weather, and on the day of our wedding, it rained. Thanks to their advice, we have some of the best photos I’ve ever seen. During our first look, Tony directed me on where to stand, while Olya guided the bride. She fixed her dress when needed and noticed minor details most people would overlook. And don’t get me started on the actual wedding—Tony, like a magician, was able to capture key moments and genuine reactions.
Both Tony and Olya helped us plan a timeline for our special day. Whenever we needed to revise or make changes they were quick to respond. During our photos they kept instructing us on how we should stand, which way we should look.
There was no doubt in their voices when they asked us to strike a specific pose, they knew it would look good. They directed us on how long we should pose for to get the right shot.
They communicated with us that good photos are a team effort. From vendor to client, that we might get frustrated from time to time but to communicate this feelings to them and they worked with us. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

e ready to select vendors for our wedding, Tony & Olya were on the top of our list and we knew we had to reach out to secure our date with them. They were both incredibly kind and super helpful throughout the entire process, and no matter how major or small the questions were they were always there to help give their advice and expertise. The day of was incredible not just because of the wedding, but how efficient, creative and flexible they were with managing their time. The photos we've gotten so far have blown us away so far and are eager to get the rest! Tony & Olya are not only talented photographers, but a genuine down to earth couple who loves what they do. We can not thank them for all they've done throughout the last two years, and we would recommend them to every couple we know!

ional. We opted for the premier package and recently had our engagement session. My fiancé and I have never taken professional photos but with their cues and direction, we instantly felt comfortable and really trusted them. They sent us the photos earlier than promised and we are amazed at their creativity and how they could capture our personalities and genuine happiness. We are absolutely in love with our photos and all of our friends and family love them as well. We are super excited for our wedding photos next year and are so happy we chose Tony and Olya to be our photographers!!!

d their portfolio was the one that my husband and I fell in love with, and were in our budget! It was important for us to find photographers who told a story in their work. We both work in advertising and have experience understanding how brands tell their story and Tony & Olya made our love story come to life!
From the moment we met to talk through what we were looking for, understanding how they would be working on the day of our wedding through every step of the way made it easy for us to hire them! We ended up going with the all-day coverage package and added on the engagement photos. If you're a bride who is on a budget, please be sure not to skimp on the engagement session. It gives everyone the opportunity to get to know one another and to hone in on their style, thus ensuring your wedding photos are exactly what you're looking for. Tony and Olya made us feel comfortable and we honestly just had fun so the pictures were both candid and portrayed the story of our love.
Thank you so much, Tony and Olya! Maybe baby photos are next? =)

as and suggestions. They had a really comforting ability to shepherd the scene (and contain the madness!). Their presence throughout the day was ubiquitous, yet seamless and non-disruptive. Now that we've also seen the output of their work, we are also impressed by the quality of their photos! Their work is sharp and insightful, capturing emotion and all the details of the moment. We actually got new perspective on our own wedding which we missed the day-of, just from reviewing their reel. Couldn't recommend them more highly!

ady knew they’d do the same for our wedding. Wedding days are stressful enough but it was refreshing to know that Tony & Olya has everything photo organized to the minute. They’re always early, never late, very organized, have open communication with us at all times and on your wedding day, all of that means the world. They don’t over edit picture, which we love. It’s a true testament to their photography skills. We’ll always feel more than comfortable referring this husband and wife powerhouse photography duo to all of our friends and family. We can’t thank you enough for a job well done at our big day guys, thank you.

day better than I imagined. What I love most about their style is that, in a single shot, they were able to artistically capture genuine moments of tenderness and happiness — beautiful moments that speak volumes and could never be staged (although they did direct our few posed shots and they came out incredible too).
They were so accommodating, creative, professional, and responsive, and their dynamic as a team is flawless. They did the impossible and helped us get comfortable in front of the camera, and even the logistical tasks of coordinating payments and receiving photos electronically were seamless experiences. Working with them was such a pleasure (and so much fun) — I would work with them again in a heartbeat!
We hired Tony & Olya for our engagement shoot and wedding day, and could not more highly recommend them as photographers.

me was that every engagement/wedding that they have photographed clearly has a style to them that is unique to the couple they were working with. It is a beautiful testament to their artistry that they can have a distinct signature style and still bring out the elements of someone else so authentically at the same time. They both knew how to be directive without bossy, and the extra loving touch I appreciated from both of them was how they would listen to our suggestions as well and roll with what felt comfortable and natural to us.
In addition to being great photographers, Tony & Olya are great people to have in your corner on your big day. Olya went above and beyond in wrangling a stray cousin who insisted she was the photographer for the day and handled the situation with so much grace and patience. Tony was a candid moment ninja. When looking through our sneak peeks, my husband could not believe what shots he captured without anyone noticing he was there.
I am so relieved to know that our special day was held in such capable hands. My husband and I cannot wait for the rest of our photos! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Tony & Olya.

ere both concerned we would be awkward during the posed photo sessions and felt their style could help us get the best photos possible. Tony and Olya asked to meet with us, as they feel that meeting with couple in advance is important to put us at ease. They were absolutely right, and I am glad they asked to meet in advance so we could be as comfortable as possible. When we spoke to Olya the week before our wedding, she was calm and collected, making us feel calm by extension. On the day of, they were timely and organized. They took charge when needed so we could ensure we got all the shots we wanted, mostly blended into the background of the day so it would be captured in the documentary style that we wanted. They were fantastic, and a delight to work with. We are so excited to see the photos.

making two awkward people feel comfortable in front of the camera. Great communication, they hold true to projected turnaround time. And it was so special to work with such a synergistic husband and wife team on the day that you enter into that role. Highly recommend!

the end of the day as if they were taken by highly trained photography ninjas who were stealthily following your every step undetected. In all the right ways my wife and I found Tony and Olya's promise to somehow not interfere with our experience, all the while capturing its energy and emotion to be true. Our wedding day flew by, and then somehow we received these amazing pictures that blew our minds!
But on the other end I have to say, I did notice them. You notice their attention to detail. You notice how comfortable you feel because both Tony and Olya have such wonderful and giving personalities. You notice their teamwork and communication. You notice how easy it is to trust their commands and directions. You certainly notice the pictures once they come out.
On the one day we had available to shoot our engagement photos the weather turned out to be windy, cold, and the most drab grey you could imagine with the forecast that it was going to rain. We were on the clock to get these photos out and we knew Tony and Olya's schedule was booked for a while. While we played with the idea of trying to reschedule later for better weather, my wife and I decided to trust in our photographers. To trust in their talent that just because things might have seemed dreary to our eye, didn't mean that it would look that way on camera. Tony and Olya didn't even blink, they took us out to our makeshift engagement photo location to adjust to the weather and they made it look like we went to 5 different locations. Thanks to their amazing talent our engagement photos come out beautifully!
If you want a duo of photographers who work seamlessly together and can make magic out of any scenario than I have to say that Tony and Olya have to be the best in the business.

eally prepare or know how to go about taking professional photos but Tony and Olya directed us easily and made the whole experience so much fun. They both work seamlessly together and take different angles of the same shot to give you a wide variety of shots you can choose from! And even though the day of the wedding was so hectic, they knew exactly what to do and where we should be going throughout the whole day. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

e Tony eyeing every alley and any area for potential photo ops. While Olya focused on the little details that meant a lot to me, she was mindful in keeping me warm and also taking breaks in between.
It takes a while for my husband to get comfortable with strangers, let alone someone that's pointing a camera at you. At our engagement shoot, he was nervously giggling through it all and you'd never know it! They're both so easy going that throughout the shoot it just got easier and easier. Clearly they've been doing this for a very long time, they don't even need any direction from you, which made my life so much easier. They know exactly where they need to be and when.
It's amazing how I can relive every moment by looking through the photos they have taken. It's true what they say on their website, they're story tellers. Trust them and the direction they lead you... they know what they're doing =)
