Beautiful cake done by our specifications in collaboration, however, Miss Preeti, the cake decorator, went above and beyond to create a delicious cake that was moist and admired by all of its design!

Preeti replies fast and is in tune with the details I wanted. She was able to deliver the design I wanted and it looked so pretty! It got a lot of compliments. The cake was delicious too--just the perfect balance. Not too sweet, not to bland. Everyone loved it. I got the cheapest deal from her and she delivered the cake to the venue and I didn't have to worry about following up. Overall I highly recommend this vendor.

Our son was getting married at the USMC Museum in Triangle, VA this last Friday (May 12th), and Preeti of I Want Pretty Cakes, Inc., was on the vendor list with the museum. I live in Wyoming and am not familiar with the area. I went through each website the vendors had and contacted a handful of vendors on the list. She immediately responded, was professional, attentive, and understood exactly what we wanted. My intuition felt she was the right choice and I'm so glad I listen to myself. The cake was GORGEOUS, DELICIOUS, and absolutely exactly what we wanted. The bride and groom were so happy with it as were all the guests! We HIGHLY recommend her business. Especially if you live far away and want confidence in the person you want to help assist your special day.

I cannot say enough great things about Preeti. We had a great rapport from day one, and I felt very heard and understood. She sketched out an idea of what I wanted, and she completely hit the mark. She hosted a cupcake tasting and we picked the spice cake with apple filling and the white cake with strawberry filling. When we saw the final cake/cupcake tower, we all gasped. It was beautiful. We went with a "winter wonderland" theme, which she nailed. The cupcakes were a big hit and everyone loved the flavors we chose. Preeti is affordable, pleasant to work with, and a wonderful baker. I highly recommend booking with her!

My wife and I loved our experience working with Preeti as our wedding cake vendor. During the planning and contracting phase, when we were unsure of how many guests we would have at our wedding, she gave us the flexibility within the contract to “start smaller” than we expected, with the option to pay more as needed if we predicted that we would need a cake larger than originally projected. This flexibility not only brought us peace of mind (since we could potentially ask for an increased size up to three weeks in advance) it also saved us money, because we ended up only needing the smaller size she recommended! We were impressed how Preeti went out of her way to make sure we had everything we wanted and needed while saving us money. For example, she showed us examples of how she could visually decorate the cakes with buttercream frosting to look like fondant icing, without having to pay the additional expense that usually comes with fondant icing! My wife loves the look of fondant icing on cakes, so we were really pleased that we could capture that look while staying within budget. Preeti also beautifully decorated our cake with “frosting pearls” and fresh roses provided from our florist; it was a beautiful work of art. Beyond her willingness to find ways for us to save money without sacrificing quality and the striking visual aesthetic of her work, the taste was outstanding! During the tasting period, social distancing was still encouraged, so she baked us “mini-cupcakes” of up to six cake and filling combinations to take home as samples. We chose a strawberry cake, pineapple filling combination. Our guests loved it; it was the perfect size, there were very few leftovers for us to take home (though the perfect leftover portion for my wife and I), the colors (white frosting, red strawberry cake, gold pineapple filling) perfectly coordinated with our wedding colors, and most of all, it just tasted superb. Pretti also lent us a golden cake stand ($200 security deposit, fully refundable upon return to Pretti), which matched perfectly with our décor and saved us the money of having to buy an additional piece of décor. Thank you Pretti; our day couldn’t have gone any better, and both your prep work before the wedding and your work the day of shone through brightly!

I got my wedding cake done by Preeti and it was beautiful and delicious! She was very and pleasant to work with and the whole process of choosing the cake size and design was smooth. I ordered a lemon cake with raspberry filling, and opted for a “semi-naked” cake and it was absolutely beautiful! Preeti was so sweet and ensured I had a beautiful cake for my small wedding reception. She even added some decor that I told her I initially could myself due to some costs, but she was so sweet and added them herself. The cake was delicious and exactly what I had imagined! We had a very custom designed cake we wanted for our wedding. Preeti really took the time to really know what we were looking for came through with an amazing cake for our wedding. She went out of her way to deliver it early when there was a power out on our wedding day and she knew it needed to stay in refrigeration before the reception. I found Preeti when I conducted a google search for best wedding cakes in my area. After reading the great reviews, I decided to reach out via email for additional information. I was very pleased with the quick and professional response I received. Preeti answered all of my questions regarding her wedding cakes. Due to COVID she was not offering tastings which I completely understood; however, I was able to purchase a cupcake sampler for a reasonable fee. My now husband and I fell in love with the deliciousness of her cakes. She offers a variety of flavors so there’s something for everyone. I love that in addition to her wedding cakes, she also offers beautiful cake stands as a rental option. On the day of our wedding she delivered the cake on time and it was made exactly as we requested. We had several guests ask us where we got the cake from. It was that great! Luckily we had some leftover cake to take home that we were able to enjoy for the next couple of days. To our surprise, the cake still retained its moisture even two days after the wedding! Not only does she make great cakes but she is also very friendly and accommodating. I am happy that we found her company and moving forward we plan to use I Want Pretty Cakes for future occasions. My entire experience with I Want Pretty Cakes was awesome from the start to the end.

Preeti is amazing to work with! She’s professional, timely in her email responses and flexible (especially with covid happening, mail being delayed etc). I gave her a picture of my dress, fabric swatch of my bridesmaids dress, and a general description of what we were looking for. She drew up a sketch and we were on our way! We are so thrilled that we chose Preeti with I Want Pretty Cakes for our wedding cake!! When we went for our consultation, I literally moaned out loud when I tasted the first sample. Her cakes are THAT good! She was incredibly knowledgeable and worked with us on the design. The day of our wedding, our cake looked exactly how we wanted - it was absolutely beautiful! We had 3 layers and each was a different flavor. I feel like most wedding cakes are kind of tasteless and dry. But every layer of ours was amazing! Moist and flavorful and delicious! Plus, it smelled fantastic! We were able to take a couple pieces home with us, and every night we wish we had some more! I can't speak highly enough about Preeti and her cakes. Her prices are great, she's a very kind and talented baker, and our wedding cake tasted sooooo good!

WOW. I'll start from the beginning of my experience with Preeti and I Want Pretty Cakes, Inc.! She was recommended by our venue and in all honesty, we visited a store-front bakery before coming to her. Huge mistake. Their presentation was lackluster at best. When we showed up for a tasting with Preeti we were IMMEDIATELY blown away by the fact that she had carefully baked and created individual mini cupcakes for us to properly sample her various cakes, frostings, and fillings. We felt like we were sitting down with a friend to decide our cake. We talked her through what we liked and she walked us through a vision. She DREW. OUT. THE. DESIGN. The way she drew the design of our cake allowed us to ENVISION the cake at our wedding. It's beautiful! We were sold and booked her the next day. Unfortunately, COVID-19 interrupted our scheduled wedding plans on March 21, 2020. Preeti was EXTREMELY easy to work with to reschedule our date, which will now be rescheduled again in the middle of a pandemic. Her communication is impeccable and I never had worries that she would deliver for us on our wedding day. I am SO EXCITED for the cake she will make for us in May 2021. But that's not all! We value small businesses and their work, so when we actually got to officially tie the knot in a private ceremony on May 8, we asked Preeti if we could purchase a small cake from her for that day. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. It's hard to decide what she does better--bake a delicious cake, or decorate a stunning cake?!?!?! Good thing you don't have to sacrifice either with her services. Stop reading my review and go sign Preeti and I Want Pretty Cakes for your wedding immediately!!!

You will not regret using Preeti! She was great to work with, makes incredible cakes, and rose above our expectations; even checking in on my mom who was going through some health complications at the time (which meant the world to her!). Her cakes are delicious, moist, and better than many of these "gourmet" bakeries out there. We offered take home slices as our wedding favors and were amazed that there was no cake left by the end of the night (my husband was very disappointed he didn't get any leftovers lol) We will definitely be using Preeti's service again in the future!

What an exquisite cake we received for our 50th anniversary celebration. The cake was perfect. It looked exactly like the one I had envisioned, and tasted so much better than expected. Even having had the tasting prior to our party, the cake tasted like perfection. Normally at large functions, much cake goes uneaten. Not at our party. And many folks commented on the delicious flavor. The only down side was there was no leftover chocolate cake! We had two layers chocolate and one lemon (and an extra lemon "kitchen" cake because we had more people than originally planned for), with raspberry filling. I didn't get any chocolate. For my entire wedding, I used a total of ten vendors. However, only Ms. Preeti Salunke and one other vendor not only delivered 100% of our expectations, but in the process, went above and beyond to please us. Other vendors under-delivered, but not her. My (now) husband and I paid the initial $30 cake-tasting session fee, and with all the commotion of a summer wedding planning, and at crunch-time, I forgot to tell her about both my food/fruit allergies, and the Coconut/Pineapple (Piña Colada) flavors we'd like her to stick with, prior to the trial. Once there, we were warmly welcomed in her house and were mesmerized by her standard sample cake and filling flavors she'd employ. On telling Preeti of my limits, and our desires, she still, at no additional charge, made a total of twelve additional sample coconut mini-cupcakes, each with four complimentary filling flavors (coconut, pineapple, vanilla, and lemon). They were all ready for pick-up on another day, but very soon afterwards. We were absolutely blown away with these flavors! They were moist, delicious, and very light, and so we immediately decided to hire Preeti for our Custom Wedding Cake, as the three of us were already decided upon the cake design. Along the weeks, the total number of our wedding guests changed from 100 to 120, making the whole cake change by an additional tier, which therefore changed the overall design of the cake. Preeti is understanding, flexible, and patient, and was yet again able to accommodate us, and (by this time), on even shorter notice. She went back to the drawing board, and within just a few days, she sent a soft-copy of our revised four-tier cake, its colors, and overall new design. This action re-validated our decision to hire Preeti. The deposit and the fees of the new cake were paid in full right then and there. Her efficiency, organizing, planning, designing, and baking style has been exemplary, not only among other cake bakers and designers, but for all kinds of wedding vendors. The 2nd tier was vanilla cake with lemon filling, and the 3rd tier was chocolate cake with cherry filling. This gave my husband and I the opportunity to save the top tier (our favorite summer flavors, and floral design!) for our 1st year anniversary to re-create the lovely memories. Preeti is the best! She was so flexible with our wedding cake order - coming up with a beautiful custom cake with us at the taste testing. All of her flavors are delicious- and you can combine your favorite flavors in different tiers. Preeti was polite and professional. She delivered the cake to our wedding reception on time and was more than happy to coordinate with our florist to create a beautiful custom floral arrangement on our cake. We cannot recommend Preeti enough!

During the planning process, Preeti was very attentive to the bride's requests and she gave wonderful suggestions. The bride and groom chose 2 flavors in alternating layers of the wedding cake. The cake was beautiful on the outside and the inside. The strawberry cake matched one of the brides colors of coral. Preeti returned emails immediately and went above and beyond when additional cake was needed 3 days before the wedding!

Pretti did a fantastic job helping us out in picking the right wedding cake. We wanted a confetti cake and she was very accommodating and even included it at a tasting! She delivered on time as well and it went very smoothly. The cake was also extra delicious and a lot of our guests ended up asking where the cake was from so that they could order cakes for themselves. It also looked incredibly stylish as well and held up well the whole night until we did the cake cutting. Due to the friendly service and delicious cake I cannot recommend I Want Pretty Cakes enough. I had very high standards and expectations for my daughter’s wedding cake and my experience with I Want Pretty Cakes, Inc. exceeded all of them. After speaking with many cake companies I knew I finally found the one from the first time I spoke with Preeti the owner. She was friendly, professional, and gave suggestions of how my vision could happen. She was accommodating to my schedule to meet with her to get all the details worked out. We chose a three tier cake and had chocolate, vanilla, and marble all with bavarian cream filling. The cake not only looked perfect it tasted out of this world. We received so many compliments from our guests on how delicious the cake was. I highly recommend Preeti to make your wedding cake if you are looking for the best!

Preeti is outstanding! Our baker said she couldn’t make our cake at 5:00 PM the Thursday before our wedding. I called Preeti and we spoke about what we had previously planned. She quickly emailed me with a write-up, met me to go over the details, and by 7:30 PM that night I was able to go home and relax knowing Preeti had started on our cake, and would be delivering it that Saturday.
