Tara officiated my wedding in June 2022 and was an absolute natural. She is a talented writer and genuine spirit who incorporated all of the elements I had hoped to see in our ceremony, but in a way that incorporated her heartfelt perspective and what seemed like obvious wisdom beyond her years. When I watched my best friend get married this past October, officiated by Denise, I knew I had to contact her for my upcoming wedding. Denise Drapkin conducted my husband’s and my wedding ceremony and it was so beautiful. Denise wrote our love story and knew everything about us that we wanted to share with our family and friends. She had us prepare by filling out a 15 question questionnaire. Very thorough! It gave us an opportunity to focus on what brought us together, how, when and why we fell in love, and what our vision for our wedding would be. Writing the answers to the questions was a very meaningful experience for my husband and me to relive our most important moments that brought us together. Denise officiated our wedding in May and she did a phenomenal job. From the moment we met with her she was warm, inviting, and gained our full confidence. She sent us a questionnaire and then wrote a beautiful ceremony that incorporated what we both said and added her own beautiful words that made it even better. She sent us the ceremony weeks before our wedding and we had plenty of time to review and change anything we didn't love- we didn't change a thing. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to officiate my wedding! I was very nervous about finding an officiant for my wedding but upon speaking to Denise the first time, all my fears subsided and she was perfect! When we decided to get married we looked for an officiant online. This was our second marriage so we wanted just a short but sweet ceremony. When speaking to Denise I found her easy to talk to and explained what we wanted....Spiritual but not too religious. She emailed us her rough draft of the ceremony and we edited only one part. I never met Denise but we had a few long conversations on the phone and I knew she was a great choice as our officiant. Our date and location was changed due to Covid 19 and she was very accommodating as well with the change. It turns out she gave us a beautiful ceremony. My guests came to me and said the same thing. I don't write online reviews often, but I want to make sure that anyone who is in search of a wedding officiant knows that they should end their search immediately and contact Denise! My fiance and I booked Denise to officiate our wedding ceremony which was originally scheduled for May 16th, 2020. After speaking with her via facetime, we knew right away that she would be the perfect person to preform our ceremony. Unfortunately we are most likely going to reschedule the wedding due to the current COVID-19 outbreak. If rescheduling a wedding due to a pandemic isn't stressful enough, I am also about to lose my health insurance. We contacted Denise yesterday from the city clerk's office where we ran to apply for a wedding licence before it closed to the public due to the outbreak, and she immediately agreed to officiate a wedding for us 24 hours later. I can not even begin to explain how grateful we are that she was willing to do this so last-minute. We can't wait for her to officiate our second ceremony that we have with all of our friends and family!

We chose Denise to marry us and could not be happier. She was great to work with from the very start and all throughout. She was on time to our meeting, responded very quickly to texts and always made herself available to answer any questions. She showed up early to the wedding and mingled with the guests. She mailed in our marriage license promptly and provided us with a tracking number which I thought was very professional. From the day me and my fiance at the time first met her we knew she was the one to do our ceremony!!! Instant connection she is the most sweetest person in the entire world!!! It was in that first meeting I knew our ceremony would be something no one would forget. Denise really took the time to get to know us and wrote our story like she's known us for years!!! I very highly recommend Denise. She was amazing from start to finish. I had a very small wedding with only 12 guests. I wanted a short and sweet ceremony and that’s exactly what we got, only it was better than I could have hoped for. Denise made it so personal and meaningful for us. We spoke on the phone and via email during the planning, and the day went just perfectly. Before she wrote our vows she asked my husband and I to write down what we were looking forward to in out marriage, and we really enjoyed that. She even incorporated some of what we said in our vows. She also knew I didn’t want him to see me before the ceremony. Since there was a long walk out to the gazebo where we had the ceremony, she didn’t let him look until I was at the door! I really appreciated that because I got to see his reaction to seeing me for the first time. It was such a special day made even more special by Denise! Any couple would be lucky to have her officiate their wedding!

Denise did my wedding August 11, 2019 and it was the best decision we ever made. The ceremony was custom made to our personal love story, beginning with how and where we met to the present of exchanging vows! She was also able to integrate my loved ones as well as my Filipino customs of veil/cord and candle ceremony rituals. She is such a creative writer in which she draws you in to the story of the couple and as well as explaining the meanings of the rituals. Denise thank you for making our wedding extra special!
