I Wed Solutions

I cannot praise I Wed Solutions enough!! We booked I Wed Solutions for our wedding DJ for both ceremony and reception along with our officiant. Dan Nielsen DJed our wedding and was our officiant. He did a phenomenal job with transitioning music at both the ceremony and reception but most importantly, he smoothly kept us on track throughout the day. I did not hire a day-of coordinator but I didn’t regret my decision. Dan was amazing - he kept the party going all night and was so enthusiastic and fun. We have been told over and over that our wedding was one of the best people have been to and I attribute that largely to Dan for making it so fun for everyone. I Wed Solutions was also very affordable. We looked at some DJs that were outside our budget and were pleasantly surprised when we were reviewing Dan’s rates - we stayed well within our budget even including the costs for ceremony music and officiant services. Dan provided uplighting at our reception as well and again I was shocked with the quality. I have seen some really poor, overdone uplighting which made me hesitant, but Dan’s uplighting was beautiful and went well with our venue. Booking I Wed Solutions for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made.

Dan was a perfect DJ! Played great music, listened to everything we wanted, and was so easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Dan was beyond awesome as our DJ & officiant! He made our ceremony beyond special and helped us through it. The music was beyond awesome !

Dan was great to work with. He kept the party going and knew exactly what songs to play. He had been to our venue many times so he knew how things worked there as well, which was great. He definitely was a lot of fun and made sure people kept dancing the whole night! We would definitely recommend him for any wedding!

It is unfortunate that I am only allowed to give him 5 stars. If it were possible, I'd say the experience we had with Dan Neilson was well worth 100 stars. My goodness was he far away from us, but let me tell you what... worth the initial drive to meet him and sign him on. Not going to lie.. my fiancé and I had NO idea what we were doing but Dan laid everything out for us and killed a ton of anxiety we had. He basically knows EVERYTHING! Dj's are so important because they run everything. He was in contact with everyone the day of ,making sure the timing was right and no one was left wondering 'when are we doing this'? I made suggestions for basic music but trusted him to keep the party going. He has a great eye, knowing what the crowd wants and everyone stayed on the dance floor- I was amazed! He even said" yes" when we asked him to come out and dance to the Cupid Shuffle with us. So glad we were referred to him. He covered our ceremony and reception and it could not have gone any smoother. p.s. … the price was right too!!!! :)

I can’t imagine our day/night any better than it was. It was perfect with Dan as our DJ and he married us too. He made the crowd laugh and meshed very well like he was a part of my family. Even after the wedding coordinator turned on the lights, he still had music going and the crowd dancing! He wasn’t done and neither were we! He has many connections if you even need a simple reference for any other service. Great guy!!

There are not enough kind words written to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to Dan Nielson, owner, DJ, Officiant of I Wed Solutions. First off, Jerry Ming, of Parkway Banquets Salon recommended him, as well as Courtney Pilman of Trellis. We hired Dan to be our DJ. He was very reasonably priced and available Dec 29 2018. My dad, a pastor was supposed to officiate, but one week before wedding, he had sciatica injury and ended up in the ER...couldn't walk, couldn't travel, needed medical attention. So we were devastated that "Grandpa" was not going to officiate, let alone even be at my daughter's wedding! Then other family (pastors) stepped up and were going to do it, they had a copy of the whole program. The day before the wedding, their flights out of Albuquerque were cancelled due to a first-ever blizzard that happened. Friday, after 10 pm, called Dan Nielson who I knew also officiated weddings, asked him to officiate he said yes, but his program was very different. My daughter had hand-picked what she wanted said. And ours was a more religious ceremony. I sent him a copy of her program. And Because of the devastating circumstances, Dan agreed to do make her day perfect-he did her ceremony--mostly read, but his style and his personality are such that it seemed natural; he is so easy going, very professional, and those who didn't know what happened, couldn't tell anything was out of the ordinary... IT WAS PERFECTLY delivered...maybe a few little tiny things out of order but no one had a clue. We are forever indebted to him for making my daughter's wedding perfect in every way. And then as a DJ, he's so much fun. He guided the bride and groom through every activity seamlessly. He acted as the MC for the entire wedding and reception! BEST DJ and OFFICIANT ever! Oh and a good dancer, too!

Dan was AMAZING!!! He was our DJ and officiant and was so supportive and helpful through the entire planning process, answered every question I had and I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. At the wedding he was extremely flexible and even though there were a lot of changes and additions to things he just rolled with it and didn't miss a thing. I've only heard great things about him from my wedding guests, heck, not only was Dan on the dance floor, even our florist and photographers were dancing with all of us! I highly recommend him to absolutely everyone!!

We had our Disney/Fairytale wedding on June 23, 2018 at IL State Beach. He is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We met Dan at one of the bridal shows we attended and he came highly recommended. Once we talked to him and went to see him at the studio, we knew we wanted him to officiate the wedding and be our DJ. Dan was so awesome. He was so patient and helpful in picking out the ceremony music, first song, etc. He also helped me write our Disney vows which were absolutely perfect. Dan was not only our DJ but also was the Master of Ceremonies. He had everything running like clockwork along with our Day of Coordinator. The dance floor was always full and we got so many compliments from our guests. He became part of the wedding from getting everyone on the dance floor to teaching line dancing. Dan and his brother Steve (our photographer) even did an amazing dance together that everyone loved. He was having a blast and everyone could tell that he was the best at what he does. If anyone is looking for an officiant and/ or DJ for your wedding...look no further. Honestly…you won’t be disappointed. Dan from I Wed Solutions DJ Service is your guy. If we could rate him 10 stars we would. Our Dream Wedding Team became like family to us…they are all amazing.

Dan made my wedding an absolute success and a great night for my wife and I, and I would fully recommend him as a DJ for anyone! Story time: Six months before my wedding, my friend and old coworker was supposed to DJ my wedding, and ended up bailing on me, telling me that I had too many requests and restrictions... it also felt like I was trying to convince my friend to DJ my wedding, compromising on certain things. When my friend couldn't give me a yes or no, I started to panic. Scared that I wouldn't come through with a DJ, I spoke with my future mother in law who recommended Dan from iWedSolutions. I called Dan that day and he instantly assured me that he would take care of everything and make our day special and memorable. He did just that!! Dan made my wedding an absolute success! He was able to accommodate all of my wife and I's requests! My guests were dancing all night, and Dan did a GREAT job entertaining everyone and making sure that my bride and I were on time for the cake cutting, the garter toss, and the bouquet toss. He did a Skype call with us nights before the wedding which was a large relief for my wife. My guests raved about how much fun they had at my wedding and how great the DJ was. Our friends who are having their wedding in August were very jealous of our DJ and wish that they could have found Dan when they were looking for a DJ. I would fully recommend Dan from iWedSolutions to anyone looking to have a wedding to remember. Dan was on time, dressed and acted professional, and kept the dance floor full. Everyone was having a great time dancing to great music. Dan also did a few dance specials including doing a quick teaching on the wobble. He also did this "Double Dutch" dance-off routine which everyone loved! I have been to a few weddings, and by far, Dan has outdone them all. I don't think I'll hear another DJ as good as he was. Dan did a great job at my daughter's wedding. He kept the evening running smoothly and everyone was dancing until they kicked us out. Very affordable and great service. The up lighting was beautiful!

We booked Dan to be the DJ and the officiant at our wedding. My now husband comes from a religious, Polish family. He and I are not super religious, and we wanted a secular ceremony but one that our religious families could still appreciate, as well as a reception that incorporated Polish music into the mix. During planning, Dan was always receptive to questions I had. Our families were SUPER hesitant about him being the officiant. All that changed during the wedding. I edited Dan's ceremony script to put in readings that best fit us as a couple. His work as an officiant was professional. His volume was great. He has a very charismatic speaking manner. During the reception, he kept the dance floor busy and worked with my wedding planner to keep our timeline going on time. I would definitely recommend Dan - he's very flexible and easygoing, but he's also very experienced. He mentioned having done 450+ weddings as an officiant. After the wedding ended, my now inlaws admitted that they loved him even though they had been super nervous about him before the wedding. In addition, my husband and I wrote our vows, but we forgot to get them back from Dan when we left. I emailed him that night, and he promised to send the vows to us via mail. Dan was such an integral part of making our day such a success!

Dan helped us with a lot of planning besides providing awesome DJ services. He performed the ceremony, took care of the ceremony music, DJ'ed the reception and did the lighting. He is very talented and really easy to work with. He did not lead us a stray on anything. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
