My husband and I recently got married and Bryan took beautiful photos of us. He was so creative with the different poses we did and we had multiple photos to choose from. I would highly recommend Bryan for your special day. He stayed with us for hours and was so patient and knew exactly what to do. He definitely deserves more than 5 stars for the lifetime memories my husband and I will have forever.

Bryan really goes above and beyond to capture beautiful photos. He made us feel extremely comfortable during our engagement session and on our wedding day. We cannot be happier about our choice to go with Icarus Image for our wedding photography. Not only is Bryan a very talented photographer, but he is very sweet and fun to be around, making the entire experience truly enjoyable. Our engagement photo session was very fun! We laughed a lot and neither of us felt uncomfortable around Bryan for a second, even though both of us despise having our photo taken. The result was fantastic, and we loved our photos so much we decided to use them on our save the dates. The wedding day was more of the same, Bryan immediately blended in with our getting ready craziness, and my bridesmaids commented more than once about how much they liked working with him, one in particular mentioned that he is the nicest wedding photographer she has ever met. We haven't received all of our photos yet, but the sneak peeks we have been given are amazing. After searching and searching for a photographer, Bryan was recommended to me and I am so thankful for that recommendation. I have gotten so many compliments on both our wedding photos and our engagement pictures. I feel like Bryan really captured not only my husband and I, but also our families. I'm not a huge fan of posed photos, but even the ones my mom insisted we take somehow turned out being spontaneous and fun. Bryan was so game for a NYE wedding, and for taking our engagement pictures in a blizzard. He's incredible to work with, and I am so thrilled with the photos. My sister in law has even expressed interest in using him for her wedding because she loved how the photos came out.

My husband and I could not have asked for a better experience with Bryan Shattuck. From the very start I was impressed with his work when we found out about him thru a friend's blog. The photos he had captured at their wedding held candid energy and life, and I was immediately drawn to them. His photos are not overly posed or fake, as I found some other photographers' styles to be. He is all about natural interactions and capturing the true energy between two people. He made us feel very comfortable every time we met with him and was very accommodating, considering we were planning a wedding 16 hours away from home. His wedding package and pricing were very reasonable for our area, and he was always available for questions or concerns. We had a blast with him, and he got some amazing shots on our wedding day. Even the colleague he brought along as a second shooter was a joy to work with. It is so nice to have some great images to remember our day by. It is an understatement to say that my husband and I were thrilled with our experience with Icarus Image and Bryan Shattuck. From the beginning, he went above and beyond to get to know us, our tastes, and personalities. By the time our wedding day was here, we considered Bryan a friend. He was so easy to communicate with, understanding what moments and which people were important to us. Our resulting pictures were stellar. We received the most earnest compliments on our photos, but more impressively, our bridal party, family, and guests, actually commented on our photographer (the person). He clearly exemplified professionalism, while still providing a comfortable and fun atmosphere. No cheesy awkward stuff. Never interfering in the flow of the day. He didn't kidnap us from our wedding for portraits, we attended our own cocktail party. Before the wedding, when I was locked up away from the lunch food that the caterers brought, he even went to get me a plate of food (something my bridesmaids and mother didn't even think to do in the midst of all the excitement). His prices are more than reasonable, particularly prints. My guests were so excited to be able to purchase multiple shots of the wedding for essentially the same price as if they took the pictures on their own camera. His processing and return of the photos was timely, we got them back about 1 month after our wedding. His colleagues are equally talented and professional (if you choose to have a second photographer). He is creative, energetic, and polite. He has a vision for you, and he will do anything to make sure it happens.

Brian was very accommodating to our schedule and what we requested. We had our wedding in an unconventional space and we knew he had shot weddings in settings similar which made Icarus attractive to us. We met for engagement photos in the pouring rain and he still gave us a product we were happy with! Our wedding photos were exactly what we wanted and we would hire him all over again if we had the chance. His assistant on the day of the wedding was also very professional and did a nice job helping us feel at ease throughout the day. Many of our guests commented that they never noticed the photographers which was a plus for us. All around very happy with Icarus and we'd encourage you to use them as well.

My husband and I found Icarus Image through an online search, after looking for a photographer for months long distance (we live on Long Island, but our wedding was in the Poconos). We both knew we didn't want the normal pictures that you see in every wedding album. After looking through the pictures on the website and speaking with Bryan, we decided to meet him and plan to take our engagement pictures that same day. Despite the fact that I hate having my picture taken, Bryan made our day fun and we felt very comfortable with him, and even before seeing our engagement pictures we were ready to book him for our wedding. Once we received our engagement pictures it just confirmed that we had made an excellent choice. Fast forward 6 months, on our wedding day, Bryan was very professional but was also having fun with our often rowdy group. All of our guests kept saying "we love him!". When we received the wedding photos my husband and I were just blown away, I felt as though we were living through the day again, and I could feel each emotion all over again. Bryan truly has an amazing gift, and we were both beyond amazed with how great our pictures came. I am so happy that we decided to go with Bryan at Icarus Image, and will have these pictures as memories of such a special day for the rest of our lives.
