Sharon was amazing to work with! She made us entire cakes as our sample cakes and was happy to do fillings and designs she wouldn't normally to fit what we wanted for our cake. She was so sweet and easy to work with. I would highly recommend using her!

tasted some of Icing on the Edge at a bridal showcase and I was really hoping he liked it too. At the tasting, Sharon shocked my foodie fiancé and he was sold! The cake was delicious! We picked almond cake with a raspberry buttercream filling and I wish we had more (I look forward to our one year anniversary to eat the top!). We received so many compliments on the taste of the cake and many people said it was the best tasting cake they ever had. On top of the flavor being incredible, the look was stunning!! When I saw the cake for the first time, it stopped me in my tracks. It was gorgeous!! Thank you, Sharon for everything!! You are wonderful!

Sharon is amazing! We decided to use Icing on the Edge for our wedding cake after trying Sharon’s cakes at my best friends wedding! Sharon is super sweet & great to work with! She made our visions come to life! She also made my husbands grooms cake for our rehearsal dinner & it was also delicious and well designed! When picking flavors - the key lime cake flavor is to die for!!

My husband and I hired Icing on the Edge for our wedding last September and it was one of the best decisions we ever made! Sharon is creative, super accommodating and very professional. We went into our consultation not knowing what flavors we wanted and after tasting her AMAZING flavors, it made our decision even harder. But despite narrowing down our decision, we had a theme we wanted to stick to – a naked cake that went along with our golden red, white and blue theme. Sharon came up with the best strategy of our BEAUTIFUL three-tiered cake with the most delicious flavors. And the icing on the cake… all pun intended… is that she offered our one-year anniversary cake as a cake she will prepare for our anniversary upon request versus saving the top tier for a year and risking an old crusty cake for our first anniversary. The cake was a hit with our guests too and we couldn’t have asked for a better presentation! Icing on the Edge has reasonable pricing and the BEST owner who will help create your dream cake, no matter what your vision.

Sharon is amazing!! Her cakes are the best I've ever had and a year later everyone is still talking about how delicious and beautiful our wedding cake was. Sharon is extremely professional and you can tell that she truly cares about her customers and the work she does. She did our groom's cake and my shower cake as well and all of them were delicious. She just made us a mini version of our wedding cake for our one year anniversary and it was just as amazing as I remember it. Thank you so much, Sharon!!

We found Icing on the Edge at the Cabarrus Bridal Fair and fell in love with everything about Sharon's cakes. Her presentation was perfect and the taste, unbelievable. She did our daughter's wedding on New Years' Eve this year with 3 separate layers of cake displayed differently, each decorated with an individual gold design. They were gorgeous! Also used her shooters which were a huge hit with old and young alike. Different flavors from the cakes offered even more variety of cake for our guests. All of her flavors and fillings were wonderful but one of our favorites was the sour cream cake with white chocolate ganache...you just can't even believe how delicious that is!

Hands down, BEST CAKE EVER!!! We used Sharon for our wedding day cake. She was awesome, so professional and sweet! All of our guests DEVOURED the cake! 😄 So good!

Sharon did an amazing job on our wedding cake. It was absolutely stunning. The designing process was very simple and her cakes taste delicious. She made sure that everything was perfect on the day of our wedding.

Sharon is amazing!! Our cake for our wedding was everything we could have ever dreamed of! Not only was it beautiful, it was delicious!! We also had different flavored cake shots which our guests absolutely loved! Sharon was very quick to respond, reasonably priced, and amazing! I highly recommend her for any type of event! Sharon is by FAR the BEST when it comes to wedding cakes, or cakes in general!! When we arrived to her home, she made us feel so welcome and there was no time limit on our appointment! We sat down, tasted her amazing cake flavors and fillings, and she walked us through the different tiers she offers and what types of designs she can make. She also helped to design the grooms cake which turned out PERFECT! When I saw the cake on the day of the wedding, it brought me to tears! It was the most beautiful Wedding Cake I had ever seen! Not only did the cakes LOOK amazing, but they were DELICIOUS and fresh!!!! I would recommend Sharon to anyone who is hosting a celebratory event!

We cannot say enough good things about Sharon with icing on the edge! We interviewed several bakers and did several tastings but none blew us away the way she did. From the second we arrived at her house we knew she had it all together. Extremely organized, professional, and accommodating, Sharon helped us design our dream cake AND it is affordable! We were able to take home small taster cakes so our families could sample her work as well and they were a hit! To me the cake is more important than the dress and I am soo excited to see mine! You won't have any regrets if you choose Sharon with Icing on the Edge.

Sharon was wonderful to work with. She graciously invited us into her home to try her cakes. She had a great variety of styles and flavors to choose from – all of which were delicious. Sharon did a fantastic job on our wedding cake! You cannot go wrong with Sharon. Cakes just aren't made like hers are anymore. They don't come from a large bakery; they come from her kitchen...literally! And they taste like something your grandmother would make. She can get as creative as you'd like. We had a 4 tier cake and each layer was a different fruit flavor (i.e. Key Lime, Raspberry, Lemon, Strawberry) and our guests loved having options. Sharon delivered directly to our venue, let us use her beautiful cake stand at no extra charge, and added fresh flowers the day of.

From the moment my now husband and I tried her cake balls at a wedding show, we knew we had to have Sharon's delicious cakes be a part of our wedding. It was a decision we did not regret! The cake was absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we had imagined, and of course, delicious. We would recommend Sharon to anyone in the area looking for a cake that you and all your guests will love eating.

Sharon did a delicious job on our wedding cake!! It was absolutely beautiful!! She delivered it and set everything up perfectly! My husband and I had met with a few cake vendors and were still on the fence. The first time we met with Sharon we knew we wanted her to make our wedding cake! She offered two actual cakes to try and we were over the moon about how delicious they were! She provides actual round cakes not cupcakes which makes all the difference to see how your actual cake will taste. We selected our flavors and the cakes were ready when we arrived to taste. She even offered to taste another icing option because we weren't sure which we'd prefer. She had so many pictures to look through to see what designs we liked. We brought a few pictures we liked and she drew up a sketch of our cake. It was exactly as her sketch and as we wanted. Everyone complimented how beautiful and delicious it was! A couple weeks before we received an email from Sharon about flowers for our cake. We were undecided and she suggested gum paste flowers since our wedding flowers were calla lilies and they don't always position on the cake well. The gum paste flowers were perfect and looked great! The detail in our cake was amazing and executed perfectly! I can't say enough good things about Sharon at Icing on the Edge and would highly recommend her!! I will be contacting her for my husbands birthday cake and any other event from here on! She was affordable and worked within our budget. She suggested ordering a sheet cake as well to stay within our budget and still get the look we wanted. We couldn't have been happier and more impressed with her professionalism and work!

Having a really delicious cake with unique flavors was very important to me for my wedding. Sharon's cakes are definitely the most delicious wedding cakes I've had. She helped us choose really great combinations of flavors and fillings to fit our theme, and she has a variety of options so you can work within your budget. We had a three-tiered cake and a lot of cake shots, but she also does cake pops and push-ups. All the cake shots were gone before dinner was over, and we only had a few pieces of cake left! I'm still getting compliments about it.

Icing on the Edge was recommended to us by our florist, Chelish Moore, and we were not disappointed! The white chocolate and red velvet cake she made for us was delicious! Sharon did an excellent job decorating the cake and it entirely exceeded my expectations.

Sharon made us a stunning and delicious cake for our wedding and we could not be happier!! I chose two different flavors for my three tiered cake and we decided to freeze the top tier for next year, at Sharon's recommendation. There was not a single piece left over at the end of the night!! She worked hard to create over 200 fondant flowers to cover my cake and it was absolutely gorgeous!!
