wanted to get married in the Wildwood/Cape May area, but the moment we toured ICONA, our decision was made. The location alone meant everything to us—it sits on the same beach I grew up going to and where my now husband proposed. It couldn’t have been more special. Beyond the meaning, the venue itself is stunning. The oceanfront ballroom is breathtaking, and the entire property is immaculate. It’s newly renovated with a clean, modern feel that beautifully complements the natural beauty of the Jersey Shore. The neutral tones make it the perfect canvas for any wedding style—whether you lean into beachy, natural vibes like I did, or want something totally different, the space works effortlessly without ever clashing. What truly sets ICONA apart, though, is their team. The planning process felt so personalized from start to finish. The tasting experience was intimate and thoughtful—just us and our family—and they even went above and beyond by hosting a second tasting for my dad so he could feel completely confident in our selections. On the wedding day itself, I had zero stress. Phil, Bree, and Riley handled everything seamlessly, from planning details to day-of logistics. Meanwhile, Mary, Janet, Cindy, and Mike managed our room block and guest accommodations flawlessly. We had guests arriving over multiple days, and the team coordinated everything—including distributing hundreds of labeled welcome bags—with ease and organization. Nothing fazed them. They also thought of things I never would have—like moving décor between the ceremony and reception without me even having to ask. And then there was the moment that completely blew me away. Before the wedding, we really wanted to serve “his and hers” Belgian beers (my husband is from Belgium and the only beer I like is Belgian), but Phil had told me it likely wouldn’t be possible due to supplier limitations. On the day of our wedding, while the bridal party was relaxing before everything began, Phil casually walked over and offered me a Lindeman’s Pecheresse, saying, “we have your Belgian beers if you want one.” I was completely shocked—in the best way. He had gone out of his way to build a new supplier relationship just to make it happen, and there they were: our favorite beers, ready for us and our guests. I was so touched. It meant so much, and it’s something I’ll never forget. That level of care, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond speaks volumes about this team. My only regret is being so excited about the beers that we forgot to take photos with them—but honestly, that just shows how present and happy we were in the moment. s soon as we walked in for our first tour, we had a feeling it was the perfect venue for us and we couldn’t have been happier with the entire experience. Bree and Phil were truly spectacular to work with. They were so organized, responsive, and thoughtful throughout the entire planning process. They answered every question quickly, worked seamlessly with all of our vendors, and made sure every detail came together perfectly. We always felt completely supported and at ease. The day flowed beautifully. The spaces for getting ready (the “Spalon” especially) were so perfect and beautiful. The ceremony on the beach/boardwalk had the most spectacular backdrop on the beach. The cocktail hour in the Grand Tent was relaxed and elegant and was super close to the ceremony space. The reception in the ballroom was lively, stunning, and so much fun. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to Bree, Phil, and the amazing ICONA team. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue, the food, and how well everything was run. ICONA Diamond Beach gave us the wedding of our dreams, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! 🌅
