The team at the Windrift (Ronda, Shannon and Jeff) went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They were incredibly professional, attentive, and responsive to every little detail we requested. They made sure our vision came to life seamlessly, and we never had to worry about a thing on the day of the wedding. Nestled right along the beachfront, the location offers stunning ocean views that created the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and photos. The sound of the waves and the shining sun made it all feel like a dream. Our ceremony was on the beach, while cocktail hour and the reception were indoors on the second floor with the stunning beach view. Catering was also top-notch. We received endless compliments on the food and drinks, from the appetizers at cocktail hour to the specialty drinks - the Windrift knows what they are doing. If you're looking for a venue that combines natural beauty, excellent service, and a personal touch, the Windrift is it. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to say I do, and we are so grateful to the entire team for making our wedding day unforgettable.

She made us feel like family and that she truly cared about us and what we wanted our wedding day to look like. She made us feel welcome from our first time touring the venue. We have received so many "compliments" from our wedding guests. Multiple people told us that this was the "best wedding food" they have ever had. We knew the food was top notch from our many experiences dining there, however the wedding food was next level. If you are looking for a venue that encompasses excellent food, fantastic views of the ocean, and staff that treat you like family - look no further. Everything on the day of ran smoothly. There were never lines at the bars - and the bartenders were very professional and skilled in their craft. The servers were also key in making sure everyone's experience was at good as it was. I have no complaints about the ICONA Windrift. I wish I could relive my wedding day over and over!

The entire team went above and beyond to ensure that our daughter’s wedding was everything she and her fiance dreamed of and more. Exceptional service starts from the top down and it was evident in every bartender and server throughout the wedding. The bridal prep room, the “Spalon”, overlooking the ocean, along with an adjoining hotel room was the perfect accommodation for the bridal party to get ready for the big day. An added bonus was that all the guests could stay in the hotel (no shuttles needed!!) and the lower level of the venue was the perfect spot for an after party with its beautiful bars and pizza oven! We lucked out as a band was booked by the venue and the party continued long after the reception! If you are looking for a wedding venue that combines stunning beauty with an ocean backdrop, top-notch service and exceptional food…look no further!

rain plan out of anywhere we looked with either the rooftop deck or glass enclosed reception all giving you the beach feel even if you have to be inside. Second the entire venue was absolutely incredible to us during our heartbreaking postponement. they held a second date for us without asking, let us decide if we would use it, and didn't charge us for moving it and would have given us a full refund if we canceled. I don't know any other couple treated that well. When our day finally arrived, they completely blew us away. I had bridesmaids that paid top dollar for personal wedding planners and even they thought Jeff was incredible. The guy is like Jesus the way he makes things happen. I was handing him shoes, props, you name it left and right. I have no idea where they went but they always magically appeared right when I needed them. The weather wasn't looking promising all weekend but after waiting so long, he knew that the only thing I wanted was to be on the beach for my ceremony. he let me decide last minute and made the perfect backup plan. he even dried all of the chairs off himself right before the ceremony. Rhonda did just as amazing inside with the reception. We had a lot of props and centerpieces to bring and she decorated perfectly and smoothed out every hiccup. People were even asking me if I paid extra for the beautiful lighting, but nope, the place comes that perfectly. My guests were raving about the food, cocktail hour, and amazing bar service for weeks. The appetizers were amazing and no one waited for a drink all night. We knew it would be great but the Windrift absolutely blew it out of the water. I could rave about them until the end of time. They are the best in the business.

But before we committed to the Windrift and chose our date, I wanted to research all available options. I even looked into destination wedding venues where it was warm year round but figured since that would dramatically decrease our guest attendance - we ultimately decided on a South Jersey shore venue. We visited every venue imaginable in the South Jersey shore area - from Icona, The Reeds and every single yacht club. At the end of the tours we decided on the venue we already knew we were going to choose from the beginning - the Windrift! The Windrift is THE only wedding venue in the South Jersey shore area that offers BEACH and OCEAN views. It was also important to us that if the weather was not cooperative for an on the beach wedding, the Windrift had a beautiful backup plan that would not alter our beachy backdrop. This was a HUGE deal for us as I'm sure it is for all couples. Our wedding vision was to have an upscale, beautiful ceremony on the beach and then a gorgeous, formal reception with amazing food and cocktail options. The Windrift offered just that! We met initially with Jeff who was extremely patient and answered every single one of our questions and took the time to walk us through the details of our wedding day. Every email we sent Jeff after we met was answered immediately. Jeff truly treated us as if we were old friends and communicating with him was just super comfortable. For our tasting we met Ronda who was so informative, helpful and also patient. She truly is a professional and be sure to trust both her and Jeff's decision in every process and detail! The tasting was so enjoyable and the food was delicious. The entrees we chose were filet mignon and sea bass which were to die for! We continue to get compliments from our guests on how amazing the food and drinks were, from the lamb lollipop hors d'oeuvres to the Frose cocktails! The variety offered in the menu and drink selections were exactly what we wanted to offer our guests. I remember on the day of our wedding how great Jeff was at coordinating our bridal party which included kids and adults (about 25 people) and my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything! I also remember having my family drop off a box of decor with Ronda to place in the dining room but I remember not explaining to Ronda how I wanted things placed. I forgot about it obviously as the day went on but when I showed up to reception I remember thinking to myself - she nailed it! The room looked FABULOUS! I am a very nervous person and if there is one thing I didn't stress about that day, it was the ceremony and reception - Jeff and Ronda took the stress on themselves and truly provided a perfect atmosphere so my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything. If you are looking for the #1 place to get married at the shore, the Windrift is the ONLY place. Trust me.

This is just one example of the many directions/services that made the entire weekend wonderful and memorable for all the right reasons! The food was excellent from appetizers to entrees. Every staff member - bartenders, servers, etc. - were all very service-oriented and just focused on making sure everything went smoothly - also cannot say enough about the management. Overall, was very happy and feel very comfortable recommending!

The beautiful beach ceremony was ran so smoothly with all of their guidance. And then, our amazing cocktail hour and reception with a view was simply flawless. Everything went so smoothly and it could not have been more of a perfect day! We cannot express our appreciation and satisfaction enough!

The bridal suite had 2 bathrooms, a large bedroom, 2 balcony, a living room and a kitchen area. We primarily got ready in the living room and kitchen area. It was beautiful. My husband I shared our wedding night there as well and the night after and it was so special to us. However, when our big day finally came, a ceremony on the beach couldn’t happen due to weather. For anyone who may not remember, Hurricane Dorian was hitting the Jersey Shore this weekend and was in full effect when our wedding day arrived. However, this didn’t stop Jeff and Ronda from still pulling off a perfect day. Jeff started early and discussed 2 alternative options for the ceremony and cocktail hour flow with me. He was also watching the radar and checking in hourly to provide updates on the path of the storm. My husband and I eventually chose the 3rd floor space for our ceremony, in hope of still catching a glimpse of the ocean, and it turned out to be the best thing we ever did. There we were getting married with all our friends and family, dry and safe, and at the same time you could see the beauty of the ocean in all its glory and power. Angry waves crashing along the shore, and white caps as far as the eye could see. The best part, we were able to lift up the clear flaps after the ceremony and capture photos with the ocean in the background, even on such a wild day. Honestly, if we didn’t get married at the Windrift, we would have lost that beach wedding we had looked forward to for so long. After the ceremony, we processed into the cocktail hour with the most delicious meat and cheese assortments, wine and cheese boards, appetizers, and open bar, with every liquor you could imagine. Dinner was out of this world, and everyone was served at the same time. This left no tables waiting for their food and made more time for everyone to dance the night away on the dance floor! Overall, I cannot put into words how thankful I am to Jeff and Ronda for pulling off the most amazing night ever, even in a hurricane! In fact, if it wasn’t for the awesome view of the angry ocean, you wouldn’t have known it was even storming because it didn’t affect our special day at all. We are still getting compliments from our guests months later on how amazing the view, food, and venue was too! Thanks again Jeff and Ronda for an amazing experience at the Windrift!

thing we wanted; we knew for sure we didn’t want the typical ballroom venue, we wanted something more fun, unique, and “us,” where our guests could party and celebrate all night and not worry about a thing. Windrift hit all those points! From the moment we meet with Jeff and toured the venue we were in awe; we loved the idea of our ceremony on site and flowing right into our cocktail hour, the wine and cheese boards were something we’ve never seen done before, the 2nd floor reception area was so beautiful and the 2 big bars would be a crowd pleaser, and our guests would be able to stay on site & enjoy an after party downstairs! Jeff, Ronda, and Alexa were all wonderful to work with throughout our planning and the weekend of. We never felt slighted or that we weren’t a priority, they were always quick to respond to any of our questions and concerns all along the way. Our guests loved being able to stay at the hotel and continue to rave about all the delicious food and friendly staff. The entire weekend was a dream come true, everything came together perfectly and we have the amazing staff at Windrift to thank. We cannot wait to come back for many future visits and cannot recommend this venue enough!

ing for 11/23/19. Communicating with Jeff and Ronda was always smooth. They responded promptly to all of my questions and requests. We loved our tasting and my mom and I attended a spring bridal show which was fabulous. Our wedding weekend came and it was absolutely perfect! Everything was beautiful and our guests loved the Windrift. Amazing food, views, staff, decor, hotel rooms.. the list goes on and on. Alexa helped us with our rehearsal and she was there the day of. She was so friendly and helpful. Ronda added a personal touch to our favors by displaying them in a heart shape. Mike, the hotel manager was so kind and cordial to all of our guests. It truly was a magical weekend. We even had a breathtaking sunrise to wake up to on wedding day. I got to see the sun rise over the ocean from my room’s balcony! In summary, you should have a Windrift wedding ! You will be smiling the entire time and for days after.

Everything went so smoothly - I could barely believe it. The food was a huge hit as well. Even our band and photographers commented on how easy the venue was to work with.

the day went, I woke up the calmest I had been for weeks knowing that everyone at the Windrift I could trust - Jeff, Alexa and Rhonda were on top of all the details and shifting as each new moment took place! The florist Karin at Blooms took my vision and made it a reality! My photographer Susan who was one of my brides back in the day took care of us every step during the day always saying how I was glowing - I was so happy!! We got married on the beach and they made sure everything was set up properly. I walked down with both my Mom and Dad so they made sure the aisle was big enough - it was perfect and as I got to my smiling husband I couldn’t wait to see what else was in store for us! The cocktail hour was amazing people were raving about the food and pasta station. When the curtain opened up to the reception it was magical we felt so special the room looked gorgeous!! I remember sitting down and in awe of the beauty that showered the room and how so many of our family and friends got to share this moment! The servers made it all work effortlessly! And I knew if I ever needed anything Rhonda or Alexa was always there! I was smiling the entire time and we even got to experience downstairs at the Windrift the annual Halloween party what a hoot!! I still feel like I’m on cloud 9 writing this and wish all the best to couples who book at the Windrift they are in good hands!!

He is so quick to respond and so patient with questions and concerns and last minute changes! Ronda meticulously takes care of your reception layout, linens and meals. She helped with the flow of our cocktail and reception so that the day went on seamlessly. These two are a dream to work with and make everything SO EASY! The Windrift Resort is such a perfect wedding venue! It ended up feeling like a destination wedding but even better since all of our friends and family could more easily attend! From the second we arrived to check into the hotel everyone from the valet to the front desk could not be more kind and more professional! Mike from the hotel is so nice and super quick to respond to emails regarding guest reservations and took care of handing out our welcome bags. We had a beautiful beach ceremony right out front of the resort. Cocktail hour on the 2nd floor deck is such a gorgeous setting and the food was delicious! We loved the flow of everything and that dinner was right on the same floor as cocktail hour. Everyone has told us it was one of the best weddings and the best food they have ever had! In comparison to the couple of places in the area that we toured, the Windrift by far gives you the most options for entrées and cocktail hour! We had such a perfect day that was better than we could have imagined! If you are looking for a wedding venue that isn’t a traditional ballroom venue I 100% recommend the Windrift Resort! Jeff took full control of the ceremony part of the day and Ronda completely coordinated the cocktail hour and reception. They are very well experienced in the field and care so much about making your day perfect for you. They are both always so quick to respond and available, encouraging questions and wanting to know as much as possible about how you envision you day. They work with any vendors you bring in, step in to help above and beyond 100% of the time. Everything from day 1 was completely seemless, simple and easy. There is plenty of stress in the wedding planning process but never once did I feel it regarding anything with The Windrift, Jeff or Ronda. The food is AMAZING. Our guests won’t stop raving about it. They special ordered a liquor for us so that we could have the signature drink we wanted. They make you feel as if you are the only bride and groom getting married there for the entire year. It was truly an honor to work with Jeff and Ronda and to have our incredible day and such a perfect venue. If you want to get married at the jersey shore - look no further. After we had booked and began the planning process Jeff was there every step of the way even when I knew I was being super annoying lol but he was pleasant and understanding and answered all of my questions on and off the clock ! This venue blew everyone at the wedding away. I booked the room next to the bridal suite on Friday and Saturday and had twenty women able to be in both rooms with the doors open and the beach breeze flowing into the rooms. As we were getting ready we received some fruit and sandwich trays ! I had brought some champagne and we drank mimosas and Jeff and the staff at the windrift continued to check in and fulfill every small detail ! I was definitely an anxious and OCD bride but my experience was amazing 😉 The team at the windrift were organized, punctual and so pleasant to work with from start to finish ! I had asked for a table at the ceremony to be filled with a few things and they were set up perfect as well as the fake flowers I had asked to have put on the arbor which came out beautiful! I had also done all my own table #’s and needed vases to be set up and they did it with no hesitation! They put everything together so beautifully ! At the wedding ceremony Jeff and the staff helped to keep the little ones in the wedding together and keep the wedding going with no interference, it went so smooth ! I had asked to have a receiving line and Jeff set us up right on the boardwalk as we left the beach so when everyone walked off we were able to greet and hug each guest it was so amazing !! As we went inside we were asked if there was anything they could get us and immediately started taking care of our guests ! Each guest was greeted with a wine and cheese plate as the entered the cocktail hour and I swear we were all full before we even got to the reception from the delicious and huge selection of food offered at cocktail hour ! Our guests could not stop raving over the food saying they had thought that was dinner ;) once the reception began just like everything else it was organized and beautifully laid out just like I had asked ! The staff were courteous and attentive the whole night and made everything from the announcements, dances, bouquet toss and cake cutting run so smoothly ! My Husband and I are so thankful we were able to get married here and cannot wait to just come back and visit and eat dinner at the spot where we both had our best day ever !!!!!
