I can not say enough good things about our wedding reception at the ICONA Windrift on June 1, 2024. It truly was my dream wedding. They exceed every expectation or vision that myself and my new husband had. Ronda Pursglove is a true asset to this organization. As the wedding coordinator, she was constantly in communication with us every step of the way. She made us feel like family and that she truly cared about us and what we wanted our wedding day to look like. She made us feel welcome from our first time touring the venue. We have received so many "compliments" from our wedding guests. Multiple people told us that this was the "best wedding food" they have ever had. We knew the food was top notch from our many experiences dining there, however the wedding food was next level. If you are looking for a venue that encompasses excellent food, fantastic views of the ocean, and staff that treat you like family - look no further. Everything on the day of ran smoothly. There were never lines at the bars - and the bartenders were very professional and skilled in their craft. The servers were also key in making sure everyone's experience was at good as it was. I have no complaints about the ICONA Windrift. I wish I could relive my wedding day over and over!

Our daughter's wedding reception was held at Icona Windrift on 6/1/2024. We were very impressed with Ronda and her staff that helped give our daughter the wedding reception of her dreams. Our guests kept telling us that this was the best wedding they have attended. Ronda and her staff did a beautiful job with the decor. The food was the best food we have ever had at a wedding.

The ICONA Windrift was the PERFECT setting for our daughter's wedding on May 11. The absolute BEST beach location. The reception venue with its panoramic views of the ocean is spectacular. Not to mention, the newly renovated décor throughout the hotel and both levels of the venue. Our guests were amazed and continue to comment on how stunning the venue was. Oh, and the menu options were exceptional too…guests are still raving about the cocktail hour and dinner selections. The day could not have been as flawless as it was without the incredibly attentive, professional, and exceptional care we were extended from every member of the Windrift team including the GM, Bill, the Event Coordinator, Ronda, the Sales Manager, Shannon and the Assistant GM, Jeff. From the early planning stages to the wedding day, everyone was genuinely invested in making our day perfect. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure that our daughter’s wedding was everything she and her fiance dreamed of and more. Exceptional service starts from the top down and it was evident in every bartender and server throughout the wedding. The bridal prep room, the “Spalon”, overlooking the ocean, along with an adjoining hotel room was the perfect accommodation for the bridal party to get ready for the big day. An added bonus was that all the guests could stay in the hotel (no shuttles needed!!) and the lower level of the venue was the perfect spot for an after party with its beautiful bars and pizza oven! We lucked out as a band was booked by the venue and the party continued long after the reception! If you are looking for a wedding venue that combines stunning beauty with an ocean backdrop, top-notch service and exceptional food…look no further!

The ICONA Windrift was the perfect back drop for the most spectacular wedding day. From the moment we walked through the doors, Bill and Jeff assisted with our check-in and handing out gift bags as our guests arrived. This set the tone for the entire event. Weeks later, we are all still gushing over the Windrift. They had it ALL, from the phenomenal and professional staff like Katie and Kelly, to the waiters/waitresses and bartenders, to the incredible food and the view was the cherry on top! We want to give the biggest shoutout to the wedding manager Ronda who worked with us for months on all the details to make the day so special. She was so genuine and helpful with guiding us through this process and the day would not have been nearly as spectacular if it was not for her and her team. The Windrift gave us the best wedding we could have ever imagined! Ronda, Bill, Jeff, and the rest of the Windrift team exceeded all expectations! They were kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and very communicative. Ronda made us feel like we were the only wedding she was helping plan! We had our ceremony on the 3rd floor which showcased the beautiful oceanfront view. The food, drinks and service were amazing and all of our guests couldn't stop raving about how perfect the day was. I would definitely recommend the Windrift as a wedding venue!

The windrift was the most amazing experience from start to finish. Ronda and Jeff were so responsive and helpful. It truly seemed like they wanted to make every vision or request I had come to life. Ronda went above and beyond to sort out every concern or potential issue I was facing. In addition to the wonderful staff, my guests commented on it being the best wedding food they ever tasted. The venue was just absolutely spectacular. I looked at many venues in cape may county can confirm this is the BEST!

The Windrift was absolutely stunning! THE BEST SPOT EVER TO HAVE A WEDDING! Everything was perfect from our first meeting with Jeff and Ronda, to the wedding day itself. There are no words to explain how happy we were with everything. Both Jeff & Ronda were awesome to work with and made the entire planning experience a breeze. The venue and room setup were spectacular, food was delicious, and waitstaff and bartenders went above and beyond!!! Everything was picture-perfect. My husband and I cannot stop smiling over the absolutely perfect day. Our vision was executed flawlessly!! Thank you so much Ronda and Jeff!!!!

Our amazing was better than we could have imagined. The venue was beautiful, the food was amazing, and the team at The Windrift went above and beyond. Jeff set us up for an amazing experience from the first time we met. Ronda really exceeded all expectations, handling all of our questions with the utmost professionalism and expertise. Erica helped make the ceremony just right on the day of. The amount of compliments we have received from our guests is an added testament to our day. You will not be disappointed if you choose The Windrift. We certainly were not. I wish we could do it all over again!

The Windrift was an absolutely incredible venue for our wedding. The view of the beach and reception room are beautiful and spacious. Having a separate bar on the dance floor is also a huge plus and keeps people from having to wait in line. Also, having the built in after party space at the bar downstairs and the ability for guests to stay where the ceremony/reception are taking place made it so everyone could have a very fun time without any worries of how to get home that night. The food is absolutely delicious as well and everyone loved the cocktail hour. Most importantly, Jeff and Ronda are the best event team you could possibly ask for. They made sure everything ran smoothly the day of and leading up to the big day. We had to postpone a year because of COVID and they could not have been more helpful and supportive during that process.

My wedding day was exactly how I always envisioned it would be thanks to The Windrift and Ronda and Jeff. From the first tour of the venue, to all of the planning leading up to the big day and then the execution on the day of — everything was perfect! Jeff and Ronda are an amazing team who are personable, detail-oriented, professional and incredibly talented at what they do. My guests raved about the location, the ballroom set-up, the food, the service and so much more from the day. I highly recommend The Windrift for any couple who is looking to have their wedding at the beach and have the absolute best day with 0 stress or worry!

Food was fabulous, hot and served to guests very timely! Passed food during cocktail hour was a huge hit! Professional, easy to work with, reliable and worth every penny! Future brides- you will not be disappointed!

The Windrift was AMAZING! The venue was great, however the staff was the part that made our wedding day go off without a hitch. Ronda, Jeff and the rest of the team were great to us throughout the planning before our wedding and then throughout the day, they continued to provide great service to us and our guests. Our guests at the wedding and those staying at the hotel, couldn't stop raving about the service. Everything was great and would definitely recommend to others for wedding/party events!

The event room for this venue was AMAZING!! Great dance floor. We were supposed to do an on the beach ceremony but couldn't due to a hurricane, they we're really organized with the indoor plan B option and moving everything that day. The food is delightful. The rooms were very clean. My only concern was their room block rate was high for some of our guests and we couldn't apply the room block rate online, I had to tell my guests to call the front desk.

Ronda, Jeff and the Windrift team made our wedding an absolute dream! The team is incredible to work with, the venue is absolutely stunning and there wasn’t a single stressful moment throughout the entire process. We cannot thank this team enough for all of their hard work! Having our wedding here was the best decision we ever made!!

This was the absolute best day of our entire lives and was even better than we could’ve ever imagined. We are SO grateful we chose to get married at the Windrift. It was absolutely stunning and Rhonda and Jeff were there for every step of the way. They made sure it wasn’t stressful for us and we truly just ENJOYED the day (and our whole engagement!) Sherrerd and her team were an absolute dream to work with. I told her my vision and she NAILED it right on the head. When we did our first look of the room I was brought to tears; she is the most passionate and talented person in the industry. I have so many wedding guests telling me how absolutely incredible the flowers were (including our photographer) which is the best compliment. I promise you will not go wrong using Sherrerd as your florist and this will not be the last time myself and my family will be using her. She will be a lifetime friend out ours and our florist for life.

My husband and I immediately fell in love with the Windrift when we toured. The ocean view is and beautiful venue space are incredible. Jeff, Ronda, and the Windrift staff were exceptional and very attentive to all our needs. We had an amazing weekend with newly renovated rooms. Our guests loved the food and had a great time. Couldn't have asked for a better venue and team to work with for our wedding!

The Windrift provided us with the most incredible wedding day. The entire planning process was smooth, and we had constant contact with Ronda. Any question I had she answered right away, and was always willing to accomodate any requests that we had. Our guests have reached out to us complementing the professionalism, food, and entire experience of the reception. We are so grateful for Ronda and Jeff and all they did to make sure our wedding day was everything we could have dreamed of. We wish we could relive it over and over. We highly recommend the Windrift to any couple who wants to get married at the beach. It is the perfect option!

This place was incredible. As if a wedding at the beach wasn't reason enough to get married here, Jeff and Rhonda are bar none the best in the business. First they have the best rain plan out of anywhere we looked with either the rooftop deck or glass enclosed reception all giving you the beach feel even if you have to be inside. Second the entire venue was absolutely incredible to us during our heartbreaking postponement. they held a second date for us without asking, let us decide if we would use it, and didn't charge us for moving it and would have given us a full refund if we canceled. I don't know any other couple treated that well. When our day finally arrived, they completely blew us away. I had bridesmaids that paid top dollar for personal wedding planners and even they thought Jeff was incredible. The guy is like Jesus the way he makes things happen. I was handing him shoes, props, you name it left and right. I have no idea where they went but they always magically appeared right when I needed them. The weather wasn't looking promising all weekend but after waiting so long, he knew that the only thing I wanted was to be on the beach for my ceremony. he let me decide last minute and made the perfect backup plan. he even dried all of the chairs off himself right before the ceremony. Rhonda did just as amazing inside with the reception. We had a lot of props and centerpieces to bring and she decorated perfectly and smoothed out every hiccup. People were even asking me if I paid extra for the beautiful lighting, but nope, the place comes that perfectly. My guests were raving about the food, cocktail hour, and amazing bar service for weeks. The appetizers were amazing and no one waited for a drink all night. We knew it would be great but the Windrift absolutely blew it out of the water. I could rave about them until the end of time. They are the best in the business.

My husband and I are avid beach lovers and he has always known that my dream was to get married on a beautiful beach but the reception and party was to be elegant and formal with amazing food and drink options and gorgeous beach views. My husband proposed to me on the beach at sunset right in front of the Windrift, so it seemed fitting to get married there. But before we committed to the Windrift and chose our date, I wanted to research all available options. I even looked into destination wedding venues where it was warm year round but figured since that would dramatically decrease our guest attendance - we ultimately decided on a South Jersey shore venue. We visited every venue imaginable in the South Jersey shore area - from Icona, The Reeds and every single yacht club. At the end of the tours we decided on the venue we already knew we were going to choose from the beginning - the Windrift! The Windrift is THE only wedding venue in the South Jersey shore area that offers BEACH and OCEAN views. It was also important to us that if the weather was not cooperative for an on the beach wedding, the Windrift had a beautiful backup plan that would not alter our beachy backdrop. This was a HUGE deal for us as I'm sure it is for all couples. Our wedding vision was to have an upscale, beautiful ceremony on the beach and then a gorgeous, formal reception with amazing food and cocktail options. The Windrift offered just that! We met initially with Jeff who was extremely patient and answered every single one of our questions and took the time to walk us through the details of our wedding day. Every email we sent Jeff after we met was answered immediately. Jeff truly treated us as if we were old friends and communicating with him was just super comfortable. For our tasting we met Ronda who was so informative, helpful and also patient. She truly is a professional and be sure to trust both her and Jeff's decision in every process and detail! The tasting was so enjoyable and the food was delicious. The entrees we chose were filet mignon and sea bass which were to die for! We continue to get compliments from our guests on how amazing the food and drinks were, from the lamb lollipop hors d'oeuvres to the Frose cocktails! The variety offered in the menu and drink selections were exactly what we wanted to offer our guests. I remember on the day of our wedding how great Jeff was at coordinating our bridal party which included kids and adults (about 25 people) and my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything! I also remember having my family drop off a box of decor with Ronda to place in the dining room but I remember not explaining to Ronda how I wanted things placed. I forgot about it obviously as the day went on but when I showed up to reception I remember thinking to myself - she nailed it! The room looked FABULOUS! I am a very nervous person and if there is one thing I didn't stress about that day, it was the ceremony and reception - Jeff and Ronda took the stress on themselves and truly provided a perfect atmosphere so my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything. If you are looking for the #1 place to get married at the shore, the Windrift is the ONLY place. Trust me.

Highly recommend this venue for your perfect beach wedding! The staff could not have been more professional and knowledgeable. (For example, they instructed the groom (our son) to stand on what would be the traditional bride side but due to the direction of the wind this change would keep the bride’s hair from blowing across her face during the ceremony. This is just one example of the many directions/services that made the entire weekend wonderful and memorable for all the right reasons! The food was excellent from appetizers to entrees. Every staff member - bartenders, servers, etc. - were all very service-oriented and just focused on making sure everything went smoothly - also cannot say enough about the management. Overall, was very happy and feel very comfortable recommending!

This was our daughter’s first choice for her 10/29/21 wedding. A view of the beach was always her dream. A Nor’easter was not part of the scenario. Nonetheless, the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception went flawlessly. The Windrift staff and team of Jeff and Ronda were exceptional, attentive without being over-bearing. We would do it all again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I could not thank the entire team at the Windrift for the utmost incredible job done for our wedding this past Sunday. The entire team, especially Jeff and Ronda, made mine and my husband’s wedding day dreams come true! Our families and friends had such an amazing time eating their delicious food, breaking in the dance floor with a view of the beach, and enjoying our wedding celebration at this venue. The team was nothing short of kind and provided such great service for the both of us and all of our guests. We simply could not have had a better time planning and celebrating with Jeff, Ronda, and their team! From the first time we met with them to discuss ideas and details for our wedding day, we were always confident that we had picked the absolute best place to say “I do” on the beach and then continue our celebration and everything between at the Windrift. The beautiful beach ceremony was ran so smoothly with all of their guidance. And then, our amazing cocktail hour and reception with a view was simply flawless. Everything went so smoothly and it could not have been more of a perfect day! We cannot express our appreciation and satisfaction enough!

We selected the windrift hotel as our bridal suite for our wedding this May. We wanted a luxury hotel without completely breaking our bank. I have to say our room was stunning. I had 8 bridesmaids and my mom/brother were getting ready with me the day of the wedding so we def. needed a spacious room. The bridal suite had 2 bathrooms, a large bedroom, 2 balcony, a living room and a kitchen area. We primarily got ready in the living room and kitchen area. It was beautiful. My husband I shared our wedding night there as well and the night after and it was so special to us. We have been going to the windrift for dinner, lunch, and drinks for many years and it was amazing to incorporate it into our big day. Thank you for making our wedding so special (:

Jeff and his team are incredible! If you are looking for a beach wedding this is the place. The ceremony and reception locations are breathtaking. The wedding and hotel team are great to work with. My fiance and I fell in love with the Windrift on a beach trip and loved it when we saw it on a tour with Jeff. We scheduled our wedding for May 2020, but due to the pandemic ultimately had to cancel our wedding at the Windrift (no fault of theirs, timing just didn't work out). But Jeff and Rhonda have been a pleasure to work with, everything from the tasting to quick visits to show our parents, they were very accommodating. We are sad we are no longer getting married here, but we definitely recommend this for any couple looking for that perfect beach wedding! Thank you Jeff and team for all your time and efforts, they are extremely appreciated.

My husband and I got married at the Windrift September 6, 2019 and it was amazing! When my husband and I first decided on the the Windrift Hotel almost a year and a half earlier, we picked it for the atmosphere, fantastic views, food, and of course the opportunity to get married on the beach! However, when our big day finally came, a ceremony on the beach couldn’t happen due to weather. For anyone who may not remember, Hurricane Dorian was hitting the Jersey Shore this weekend and was in full effect when our wedding day arrived. However, this didn’t stop Jeff and Ronda from still pulling off a perfect day. Jeff started early and discussed 2 alternative options for the ceremony and cocktail hour flow with me. He was also watching the radar and checking in hourly to provide updates on the path of the storm. My husband and I eventually chose the 3rd floor space for our ceremony, in hope of still catching a glimpse of the ocean, and it turned out to be the best thing we ever did. There we were getting married with all our friends and family, dry and safe, and at the same time you could see the beauty of the ocean in all its glory and power. Angry waves crashing along the shore, and white caps as far as the eye could see. The best part, we were able to lift up the clear flaps after the ceremony and capture photos with the ocean in the background, even on such a wild day. Honestly, if we didn’t get married at the Windrift, we would have lost that beach wedding we had looked forward to for so long. After the ceremony, we processed into the cocktail hour with the most delicious meat and cheese assortments, wine and cheese boards, appetizers, and open bar, with every liquor you could imagine. Dinner was out of this world, and everyone was served at the same time. This left no tables waiting for their food and made more time for everyone to dance the night away on the dance floor! Overall, I cannot put into words how thankful I am to Jeff and Ronda for pulling off the most amazing night ever, even in a hurricane! In fact, if it wasn’t for the awesome view of the angry ocean, you wouldn’t have known it was even storming because it didn’t affect our special day at all. We are still getting compliments from our guests months later on how amazing the view, food, and venue was too! Thanks again Jeff and Ronda for an amazing experience at the Windrift!

My husband and I were married at the Windrift last month and we could not have asked for a better experience. After we got engaged we were on the hunt for a location that had everything we wanted; we knew for sure we didn’t want the typical ballroom venue, we wanted something more fun, unique, and “us,” where our guests could party and celebrate all night and not worry about a thing. Windrift hit all those points! From the moment we meet with Jeff and toured the venue we were in awe; we loved the idea of our ceremony on site and flowing right into our cocktail hour, the wine and cheese boards were something we’ve never seen done before, the 2nd floor reception area was so beautiful and the 2 big bars would be a crowd pleaser, and our guests would be able to stay on site & enjoy an after party downstairs! Jeff, Ronda, and Alexa were all wonderful to work with throughout our planning and the weekend of. We never felt slighted or that we weren’t a priority, they were always quick to respond to any of our questions and concerns all along the way. Our guests loved being able to stay at the hotel and continue to rave about all the delicious food and friendly staff. The entire weekend was a dream come true, everything came together perfectly and we have the amazing staff at Windrift to thank. We cannot wait to come back for many future visits and cannot recommend this venue enough!

Jeff was the first person I met when I first saw the Windrift as a wedding venue in December 2018. Once I saw it and met Jeff, I knew it was the place to choose. We booked our wedding for 11/23/19. Communicating with Jeff and Ronda was always smooth. They responded promptly to all of my questions and requests. We loved our tasting and my mom and I attended a spring bridal show which was fabulous. Our wedding weekend came and it was absolutely perfect! Everything was beautiful and our guests loved the Windrift. Amazing food, views, staff, decor, hotel rooms.. the list goes on and on. Alexa helped us with our rehearsal and she was there the day of. She was so friendly and helpful. Ronda added a personal touch to our favors by displaying them in a heart shape. Mike, the hotel manager was so kind and cordial to all of our guests. It truly was a magical weekend. We even had a breathtaking sunrise to wake up to on wedding day. I got to see the sun rise over the ocean from my room’s balcony! In summary, you should have a Windrift wedding ! You will be smiling the entire time and for days after.

I cannot say enough positive things about the events team at the Windrift. Jeff, Alexa, and Ronda were incredible to work with. I plan events as part of my occupation, and our guest list included a variety of wedding planners, event planners, wedding vendors, and hospitality professionals that all commented on how talented the day of staff was. Everything went so smoothly - I could barely believe it. The food was a huge hit as well. Even our band and photographers commented on how easy the venue was to work with.

Always the planner and never the bride until October 26, 2019 where I trusted my special day to the Windrift and all the incredible vendors involved! I could not be happier for how the day went, I woke up the calmest I had been for weeks knowing that everyone at the Windrift I could trust - Jeff, Alexa and Rhonda were on top of all the details and shifting as each new moment took place! The florist Karin at Blooms took my vision and made it a reality! My photographer Susan who was one of my brides back in the day took care of us every step during the day always saying how I was glowing - I was so happy!! We got married on the beach and they made sure everything was set up properly. I walked down with both my Mom and Dad so they made sure the aisle was big enough - it was perfect and as I got to my smiling husband I couldn’t wait to see what else was in store for us! The cocktail hour was amazing people were raving about the food and pasta station. When the curtain opened up to the reception it was magical we felt so special the room looked gorgeous!! I remember sitting down and in awe of the beauty that showered the room and how so many of our family and friends got to share this moment! The servers made it all work effortlessly! And I knew if I ever needed anything Rhonda or Alexa was always there! I was smiling the entire time and we even got to experience downstairs at the Windrift the annual Halloween party what a hoot!! I still feel like I’m on cloud 9 writing this and wish all the best to couples who book at the Windrift they are in good hands!!

My husband and I were planning to get on a plane and have a destination wedding, until we met with Jeff and saw the Windrift Resort! We were so thrilled with our choice of venue! Jeff is so professional and laid back to deal with. I don’t know how he does it but you end up feeling like you are the only wedding he is planning for the year. He is so quick to respond and so patient with questions and concerns and last minute changes! Ronda meticulously takes care of your reception layout, linens and meals. She helped with the flow of our cocktail and reception so that the day went on seamlessly. These two are a dream to work with and make everything SO EASY! The Windrift Resort is such a perfect wedding venue! It ended up feeling like a destination wedding but even better since all of our friends and family could more easily attend! From the second we arrived to check into the hotel everyone from the valet to the front desk could not be more kind and more professional! Mike from the hotel is so nice and super quick to respond to emails regarding guest reservations and took care of handing out our welcome bags. We had a beautiful beach ceremony right out front of the resort. Cocktail hour on the 2nd floor deck is such a gorgeous setting and the food was delicious! We loved the flow of everything and that dinner was right on the same floor as cocktail hour. Everyone has told us it was one of the best weddings and the best food they have ever had! In comparison to the couple of places in the area that we toured, the Windrift by far gives you the most options for entrées and cocktail hour! We had such a perfect day that was better than we could have imagined! If you are looking for a wedding venue that isn’t a traditional ballroom venue I 100% recommend the Windrift Resort! I wish I could give more then 5 stars - Jeff and Ronda at The Windrift were the absolute dream team!!! There are many venues at the jersey shore, but after meeting with them just one time, it was a no brainer. The venue itself includes so much in the package, but the true selling point is the team work that is so obviously perfect between these 2. Jeff took full control of the ceremony part of the day and Ronda completely coordinated the cocktail hour and reception. They are very well experienced in the field and care so much about making your day perfect for you. They are both always so quick to respond and available, encouraging questions and wanting to know as much as possible about how you envision you day. They work with any vendors you bring in, step in to help above and beyond 100% of the time. Everything from day 1 was completely seemless, simple and easy. There is plenty of stress in the wedding planning process but never once did I feel it regarding anything with The Windrift, Jeff or Ronda. The food is AMAZING. Our guests won’t stop raving about it. They special ordered a liquor for us so that we could have the signature drink we wanted. They make you feel as if you are the only bride and groom getting married there for the entire year. It was truly an honor to work with Jeff and Ronda and to have our incredible day and such a perfect venue. If you want to get married at the jersey shore - look no further. The Windrift is where you want to be!!!!!

My fiancee and I coordinated with Jeff at the Windrift for our upcoming wedding. From the get go he was absolutely fantastic--responsive, accommodating, and overall a pleasure to work with. The space has breathtaking ocean views, and the bridal suite is gorgeous. Due to circumstances outside of our (and their) control we could not have our wedding at the Windrift; however I'm sure that if we did it would have been done wonderfully and professionally. If you are interested in a beach venue with excellent personnel, would highly recommend considering this venue.

I had my wedding at the Windrift in Avalon,NJ this past May ! I don’t even know if my words can do this place justice! I had met with Jeff at the windrift thirteen months prior and he walked us through for our tour and we feel in love with the venue immediately and this is when it was closed for the season. After we had booked and began the planning process Jeff was there every step of the way even when I knew I was being super annoying lol but he was pleasant and understanding and answered all of my questions on and off the clock ! This venue blew everyone at the wedding away. I booked the room next to the bridal suite on Friday and Saturday and had twenty women able to be in both rooms with the doors open and the beach breeze flowing into the rooms. As we were getting ready we received some fruit and sandwich trays ! I had brought some champagne and we drank mimosas and Jeff and the staff at the windrift continued to check in and fulfill every small detail ! I was definitely an anxious and OCD bride but my experience was amazing 😉 The team at the windrift were organized, punctual and so pleasant to work with from start to finish ! I had asked for a table at the ceremony to be filled with a few things and they were set up perfect as well as the fake flowers I had asked to have put on the arbor which came out beautiful! I had also done all my own table #’s and needed vases to be set up and they did it with no hesitation! They put everything together so beautifully ! At the wedding ceremony Jeff and the staff helped to keep the little ones in the wedding together and keep the wedding going with no interference, it went so smooth ! I had asked to have a receiving line and Jeff set us up right on the boardwalk as we left the beach so when everyone walked off we were able to greet and hug each guest it was so amazing !! As we went inside we were asked if there was anything they could get us and immediately started taking care of our guests ! Each guest was greeted with a wine and cheese plate as the entered the cocktail hour and I swear we were all full before we even got to the reception from the delicious and huge selection of food offered at cocktail hour ! Our guests could not stop raving over the food saying they had thought that was dinner ;) once the reception began just like everything else it was organized and beautifully laid out just like I had asked ! The staff were courteous and attentive the whole night and made everything from the announcements, dances, bouquet toss and cake cutting run so smoothly ! My Husband and I are so thankful we were able to get married here and cannot wait to just come back and visit and eat dinner at the spot where we both had our best day ever !!!!! If you are looking for the perfect venue and people you will have it here!

Hands down the best Jersey Shore venue. If you are looking to have your wedding at the beach, stop looking and just book the Windrift. Our wedding weekend was simply AMAZING all thanks to Jeff, Ronda and the awesome team they have there. We could not ask for more. We got compliments on everything from the venue itsides, to the food, drinks, views, after party bars downstairs, EVERYTHING. Needless to say, we will be vacationing there as well because we feel like the Windrift holds such a special place in our lives forever.

I can’t say enough about how amazing the Windrift is!!! Everything from our initial visit to our wedding day!!! The venue is absolutely beautiful! We fell in love with the room immediately!!! Our wedding day was a dream come true and we will be forever grateful and thankful to have had it at the Windrift! It was everything we had hoped for and more!! Jeff and Ronda are the absolute best!!! They made all of our planning so easy and seamless from start to finish! They were both extremely responsive, helpful and accommodating to any and all requests we had!! They truly helped bring our vision for our wedding day to life! We would highly recommend the Windrift to anyone hoping to have a beach wedding!!! Hands down the best day of our lives and we owe it all to the Windrift and our amazing vendors! Our wedding was 4/27/19 and I wish I could do this day all over again. The Windrift was hands down one of the best and easiest decision of my wedding. I have seen many Windrift weddings having worked at the Windrift - I KNEW I would not be disappointed. Ronda and Jeff are hands down the best. There was NOTHING I ever had to worry about. I knew I could call/text them and ask any questions without hesitation. If they did not have an answer they would get me the right answer. Ronda and Jeff were very accommodating to any need. Ronda brought my dreams to life of simple, yet beautiful in the reception room. The food was amazing, our guests called and texted for a month to let us know how wonderful our cocktail hour was and their entrees. The entire wedding staff was great, they made sure we were taken care of, fed, and had drinks in our hands all night. There could not have been a better option for my dream wedding. I do not know how Ronda and Jeff do what they do, but they are amazing. I am so thankful for both of them. They sure do know how to take care of their brides and grooms.

Our wedding at the Windrift was more perfect than I could have ever imagined. When my mom and I first started looking at venues in South Jersey, the Windrift wasn’t on our list but we happen to be driving by and decided to stop in on a whim. Jeff, one of the wedding coordinators, was more than happy to sit down with us to discuss our wedding when we unexpectedly showed up. My mom and I knew the Windrift was the venue after that meeting. The reception room is like no other in the area and Jeff was just an absolute pleasure to talk things over with in the beginning and throughout the entire planning process. I really can’t say enough about him- from answering all of our questions, following up with us when he needed answers, confirming that our payments were received for the deposits and handling my last-minute changes during the weeks leading up to the wedding. Both Jeff and Ronda were there for the day of our wedding to make sure everything went smoothly. The food was incredible- from the appetizers during cocktail our through our entrees. So many of our guests told us that our wedding was the best wedding they had ever been to and the Windrift, Jeff and Ronda were a HUGE part of making sure we had the best day of our lives. I can’t thank them enough!

We hosted my daughter's wedding here last weekend and every aspect was spectacular! The food was amazing from the hors d'oeurves to the dinner. The room has a great view of the ocean and plenty of room for dancing. Jeff Walden and the staff were so pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend!

We had an appointment with this venue on March 16th very excited to see what they had to offer. unfortunately they decided not to show up, after calling several times someone finally called back and they were in NY and for some reason my daughter had confirmation for March 16th not evening saying he made the mistake saying it was for the following weekend he then wanted us to wait another three hours after driving an hour and a half an hour, what to walk into a cold hall nothing set up?? I would not recommend this venue very unprofessional.

I can't say enough about how awesome The Windrift was for our wedding. The venue was perfect. It has such an awesome vibe about it - the views, the deck, the decor. We were even lucky enough to be able to use the fire pit on the deck all night (not much wind that night)! Jeff and Ronda were so great - excellent at what they do, extremely helpful and accommodating and communicated throughout the entire process. This was truly the best night of our lives and the Windrift, Jeff and Ronda made it possible! I wouldn't change a thing and if I could do it all over again I would in a heartbeat!! THANK YOU!

We wouldn't have had this dreamy of a day if we were married anywhere else! If you want to be in heaven on your wedding day, the Windrift is it. We are local to the area and just had our ceremony/reception at the Windrift Resort. Besides the obviously stunning setting, Jeff Walden and Ronda made our experience a dream come true. 100%, EVERYthing was perfect. Their help through it all was priceless, the food was delicious from apps to dinner (and we all know wedding food can be blah & dry), the accommodations, the hotel staff, the bartenders, were all amazing. All I kept saying was "Jeff, I don't know how you do it all." He went out of his way to make everything extra easy, and perfect. I don't have one complaint about our event and neither did my guests...all of them are still contacting me to tell me it was the best food and most beautiful wedding venue that they have ever been to. We can not thank you enough. I would do it all over again 1000 times. We are forever grateful and we will surely be visiting the Windrift more often to enjoy their great food & atmosphere because of our great experience! THANK YOU Jeff!

The Windrift gave us the most beautiful and fun reception we could have asked for! They were extremely accommodating with various requests and were always super quick to respond to anything we needed. They also helped us carry out our theme impeccably. The food was fabulous and the overall reception was worth every penny.

First rate service, food and atmosphere!! The Windrift hosted our son's wedding rehearsal dinner and Jeff and the staff rocked it from start to finish!! It was so easy to work with Jeff to organize things and he delivered! His very timely email communications put me at ease to know that things would be perfect, and they were. Kudos to Jeff and the staff! I recommend this venue for anything!!

I highly recommend the Windrift as the perfect wedding venue. Our family has always loved the Windrift as our vacation destination, but the event services went far above and beyond our expectations. I never felt any stress working closely with Rachel, and Ronda and Jeff helped our wedding day go perfectly and without any worry. I never felt stress during wedding planning as I truly felt like I had a hired team of personal wedding planners. The food, the bar service, the decor (set up perfectly and exactly how I envisioned everything) was truly beyond compare- but the service was next to none. All of our guests had nothing but the most wonderful compliments to give regarding our cocktail hour and reception. The Windrift team is the best, the hotel and view are unbeatable, and this is the perfect place for your most perfect day!!

Our Windrift Wedding was absolutely perfect. The venue is so beautiful as it overlooks the ocean. The food was delicious, we are still receiving complements on the quality of food from our guest's. The drinks selection is one of the best we have ever experienced at a wedding. There are over 20 beers on tap, as well as any and all specialty cocktails and wine. The staff at the Windrift is truly top-notch. Ronda was such a big help when it came to making decisions and ensuring the night ran smoothly. Not only did we think the reception was perfect, but we are STILL receiving complements from our guest's on how much fun they had. We got married 10/21/17 at the Windrift. We had the ceremony outside on the beach and the reception inside on Level 2. It was a beautiful day. We had the best day of our lives and it seriously was a dream come true, all with the help of Jeff Walden and Ronda Pursglove. Everything was PERFECT from the day we got engaged to the day we said "I Do." My husband worked very closely with Jeff from the day we got engaged on the beach outside of the Windrift in September 2016. Both Jeff and Ronda were so easy to work with and always available with the millions of questions and requests we had during our year of planning. They went above and beyond to accommodate EVERYTHING we wanted to make our wedding day the way we pictured it! Everyone always says something goes wrong the day of your wedding but seriously, there isn't one thing we would've changed. It was perfect from start to finish: ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and even the after party. People are still raving about how it was the best wedding they've been to and how good the food was. The timing of everything was spot on! We couldn't have had a better day. Thank you again to the Windrift, everyone who works there who helped us throughout our year of planning, and especially to Jeff and Ronda. We will be singing your praises for life!

The Windrift is an easy sell with it's breathtaking beach views. An added plus of choosing this venue was working directly with Jeff and Ronda; the Windrift's wedding planning experts. They made this process enjoyable from the start offered great advice along the way (Chocolate Face Cupcake and Brownies were such a hit)! Our wedding reception was executed flawlessly and was an absolute blast. The staff, the food, the views, and the many prior memories at the Windrift made it the perfect location for our wedding reception. Thank you, Windrift!

We had an amazing time! The team did an excellent job making our day beautiful and a great time. They even found my shoes on the dance floor after we left and texted me to let me know they had them safe for me! All of our guests raved about the food (their Lemon Parmesan risotto and the cheesesteak egg rolls are EVERYTHING) Rachel and Ronda were both so easy to work with... go book them now.

We had our wedding this past September at the Windrift. I cannot praise Jeff and Ronda enough. They were both available to answer and and all questions we had and always seemed to know how to calm me down. I worked so closely with Jeff in the months leading up to our big day that he honestly feels like a friend now. We wanted a lot of non traditional elements at our reception that I was worried wouldn’t be easy to do. Ronda made sure we got everything we wanted and made sure to keep telling us that it’s our big day and nothing was a problem for her to change. The day of, Jeff was so calm and collected even when things happened that I though could ruin everything. Ronda was right there all night through the reception making sure nothing went wrong and everything went smoothly. I 100% would book another event here just to have the pleasure of working with them again. If you’re on the fence about booking your wedding here, I’m telling you to DO IT! You won’t regret it. AMAZING! My husband and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at the Windrift. It was like a second wedding. We even had a first dance and cake cutting! The food was delicious. All of our guest could not get over how great everything was, From the abundance of appetizers to our large portioned entrees. You don’t typically see this at a wedding/party and have it perfectly cooked. The staff was very professional and friendly. Bar was great, couldn’t have asked for anything else. Great music from out DJ Tony and the flowers that Karin from Bllooms designed were perfect. I couldn’t have asked for anything else. Jeff and Ronda made our day flawless. Thank you to all at the Windrift for making our day a perfect one!!
