Idalia Photography

ire day with the Bride and Groom and made the day very fun while capturing amazing pictures. The engagement and wedding pictures were beautiful and we could not be happier with them. They also provide a full photo timeline and capture all requested pictures in a timely, efficient and fun manner. We couldn’t be more pleased with our choice of a wedding photographer!! Thank you so much Alex and team!!

On top of her professionalism and genius with the lens and angles, she is SUPER sweet and down to earth!! She knows exactly what she’s doing, what angles look best, where the light hits best that will make your photos look PHENOMENAL!! She is truly a creative genius. I loved her so much I even hired her to shoot my bridal shower. My entire family and in-laws adore Alex’s easygoing and cheerful nature, and love how well she works with our other creative vendors we hired. I truly appreciated the sneak peeks she gives after your event, and the wait to see your full reveal is truly worth it!! Her and her team are super attentive to details and our shot requests, and we loved how organized they were. My family and in-laws cannot get over how beautiful her photos of my engagement photos, bridal shower, and wedding were (see photos attached—she is a genius!!). I cannot recommend her enough!!

ment shoot, to our prep call, to our wedding day, Alex was an absolute pleasure to work with. We aren’t the most comfortable in front of a camera, but with Alex we had fun and didn’t feel like we were posing. Alex and her team were amazing about making sure the right people were in the right photos and making sure we ran on time to ensure we got everything we wanted photographed. Alex LOVES the Indian Trail Club and worked beautifully with Dana, Natalie, and our videographers. We are thrilled with our wedding photos and SO glad we had Alex and her team to capture the best day of our lives!!!

ing photos which was really necessary with a large bridal party. She was so helpful during timeline logistics for the day as well which was very valuable. I am so happy we chose to work with Idalia!

to every detail. We are thrilled with our experience and our photos. Their work is truly spectacular! They are a team you can trust. We highly recommend Idalia Photography!

fun to work with, never pushy, and completely understanding of the limitations of our venue. What other photographer brings your wall art to you and hangs it? We are delighted we selected them and to admire the pictures for years to come.

erything was perfect and am so grateful to have such a wonderful team!

personable. She was professional and answered all of our questions. Marianne was incredible during our engagement shoot, and I know she would be for our wedding day, too! Marianne, Michael, and Katie truly went above and beyond to capture our wedding day perfectly. They were on time, professional, and made sure to get every shot we requested. When designing our album, the design team took their time while we selected the best photos to represent our day- which was difficult, since we loved them ALL! We are so beyond happy to have chosen Idalia Photography for our wedding day pictures.

er whole team have been incredible to work with and the final result has been great. I couldn't recommend her enough.

irtually on multiple occasions to answer all of our questions and to best understand our needs/vision for the day. She was also instrumental in preparing a detailed itinerary which kept everything running smoothly with no surprises or snafus. She was always professional and cooperative, as well as equally as excited for our day as we were! When you have a photographer with that energy, it's contagious and makes your photos that much more natural. We loved that she gave us specific direction in order for her to get the best shots - and the final product was incredible!!! She helped capture our day so perfectly and we couldn't have dreamed of a better photographer. She also provided over 75 photos within 2 weeks of our wedding which was unbelievable. Definitely recommend!!

her team were extremely sweet, professional and always had a genuine smile on their face. Alex’s kindness and calm demeanor were contagious, which is exactly what couples need on their wedding day. She and her team captured the whole day perfectly from candid getting ready photos to formal photos with a 20+ person bridal party to dance floor action shots. From our first phone call, Alex made sure to gather our vision with special details in mind and later, presented us with a very organized timeline which guided us (and other vendors) seamlessly throughout the day. Alex stayed true to her word with estimated delivery time for releasing the photos and we were blown away by her skills. Every time we look at our wedding photographs, we can feel the magic, love and joy from that day all over again. I cannot recommend Alex enough for her services. You will not only want Alex to capture your one special day, you will want her there at all of your special moments as your life and family continues to grow.

! Not only did she take amazing photos but she helped save the day with the little things we weren’t sure how to do! She has so much experience that she was able to give us pointers on what to do! She made sure we took the time to get each and every photograph that we wanted!! I’m so pleased with Idalia photography and all they did to help make our day so so special! I would 1000% use Idalia photography specifically Marianne for any future photography needs! She was wonderful for kids(my flower girl and ring bearer) and worked so well with them to get them engaged and to pose for pictures! Everyone that I talked to couldn’t say more about Marianne and her associates! They raved about her the whole day! We have only seen a couple sneak peak pictures but by the looks of them they are amazing and I can not wait to see more! Highly recommend!!!

in our venue and date. She is hands down, the most incredible photographer, and most wonderful vendor I worked with for our wedding. When we first met her at our engagement photos, she was so kind, and a joy to work with and made the nervous awkward feelings of being in front of a camera disappear. She followed up with us multiple times before our wedding day to make sure everything was perfect. The moment I saw her on my wedding day, I felt a huge sigh of relief knowing she was there and her and her team were going to capture the most special day for us perfectly. I was speechless when she sent us our wedding sneak peaks. She has the most beautiful, light and airy style that highlights the most special moments in the most natural way. She captured our day so beautifully and I am still speechless every time I open our album. She is simply amazing at what she does and the absolute best.

ze from the initial planning stages to the day of the wedding. She was incredibly responsive answering all our questions. Day of the wedding could not have been smoother thanks to Alex and her team!! She is simply the best!!

ess which any Covid bride could really appreciate. Our wedding photos came out STUNNING, I couldn't believe how beautiful they were and the detail her and her team captured on our day. They exceeded our expectations in every single way! Not only were the photos incredible, but the professionalism and kindness they showed to us that day made us and our families so happy and comfortable. I would recommend Alex and her team without hesitation to anyone, and I hope every bride is as lucky as I was to get to work with such amazing people!

e best at what they do. She is in that latter category - she is the best at what she does. With 91 5 star reviews I know a 92nd review will only add our names to the long list of happy clients but there was no way Jess and I could not add our names to the choir of happy and grateful clients. We need a lot of instruction and she just went out of her way to make us feel safe, comfortable, excited and happy. She is a natural and has such a kind and warm personality. Great photography isn't just coming up with the perfect shot it's about adding to the overall experience and having that experience be a reflection of the love shared between the people being captured. Alex does all of this and so much more. We are so grateful to her for coming to our home and capturing our engagement and we would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for the best of the best to capture their special moments. We love you Alex!! Thank you!! Can't wait to have you capture our wedding in August 2022.

elieve that the photos she took at our (outdoor) wedding were taken on the same day as Hurricane Henri. Alex made a last minute decision to go to the Princeton University campus for our first look and portraits so we could use the buildings there for shelter from the rain, but we got lucky and it didn't end up raining while we were there and the photos turned out absolutely beautiful! The photos are especially meaningful to us since we spent lots of time on that campus together growing up. Not only that, but Alex was incredibly flexible with us as we had to delay our wedding into 2021 due to Covid-19. She had excellent communication with us throughout the entirety of our wedding planning process and made planning every detail incredibly easy. Not only that but Alex and her team were a joy to work with, they made us feel like celebrities while also blending right into the event itself and giving us the space to enjoy ourselves. Idalia Photography was the best decision we made when planning our wedding and we are so glad we chose them to capture our special day. We highly recommend Alex for your wedding or event!

t realize that working with Alex and her team would get me SO MUCH more than just beautiful pictures. Leading up to the day I worked directly with Alex to nail down all the details and she created a perfect timeline for our day… and then created an entirely new one last minute when I changed my mind (oops!). She made sure everything was communicated to the associates who were assigned to my day and it was a seamless process. Marianne was my lead shooter and she was amazing. She did our engagement pictures last year on literally THE hottest day of the year and my husband and I enjoyed ourselves so much I actually forgot about how hot it was. She instantly made us feel so comfortable and was great at posing and cueing us exactly how she wanted. Myra was our second shooter the day of the wedding and she was just as awesome. Every time the lighting was good or the shot looked good through her camera she was yelling out compliments and cheering us on; she definitely kept us laughing all day. The two of them worked amazing together and then also with our videographer. I know it is a very busy time for vendors, but Alex always made me feel like my wedding was priority #1 and responded almost immediately to any emails/questions I had. She also made sure that I had sneak peeks ASAP, which I really appreciated. The day goes by in a flash and you’re so sad that it’s over, that it is nice to get a few real pics so soon after! Her and her team truly went above and beyond to capture each detail of my wedding day and I am so grateful to have so many beautiful images to look back on.

eryone feeling relaxed and engaged. Alex and her other photographers easily managed a long list of requested photos with family and friends, they did it so efficiently while maintaining such a personal connection to each person. Because of their approach, no one had a chance to get nervous or worry. Indoor photos prior to the wedding, photos in the church, photos outside as well as at the reception - all flowed beautifully and reflected what the bride and groom requested. We cannot wait to see the final product, and we know it will be wonderful, based on her beautiful work with their engagement session. I also want to mention the photo booth at the wedding reception venue. It was a huge hit with the guests, the attendants kept things moving, and at the end of the night, the bride and groom had a wonderful book of fun and goofy photos to take home, all with handwritten well wishes and cute art. I am so glad Idalia Photography was available for this wedding and am so appreciative of all their efforts over a very long day. They were wonderful, kind, and just the best at what they do!

changes to our engagement photos, package type as well as dates and Alex was so accommodating. We ended up having one of her associates, Marianne, as our photographer for each event and I cannot express how much we enjoyed working with her! She made my husband and I feel so comfortable and we were so happy to have her there to capture such an important day(s) for us!

man, were we right! Alex is a true artist, and we can confidently recommend her to any couple.  The entire process was extremely smooth—from the months before, to the day of, to the delivery of the final product. We really appreciated her professionalism, timeliness, and clarity on her process during the planning stage, which really set our minds at ease.  The day of our wedding was just amazing and carefree (perks of an intimate, easy-going wedding). We knew we were in good hands from the moment Alex and her assistant showed up. Both ladies were warm yet focused, effortlessly capturing all of the most important shots as well as the smaller details and candids we didn't know we needed. Their direction felt very natural the entire time.  A week after our wedding, I cried happy tears when we saw the preview gallery of the photographer's favorite photos—we knew we chose the right person to capture our day! The final product is stunning—the composition, lighting, and all of the details are carefully considered and consistent. Our photos are truly the gift that keeps on giving.

fter getting engaged! From our engagement shoot to coming up with plan B (due to Covid) to building our wedding album, Alex has been incredibly communicative and on-the-ball. She handled every curveball we’ve thrown her with grace and played a huge hand in making our microwedding such a fantastic day. Without a wedding planner, I worried a lot about the logistics of the day (as most brides do!) and Alex’s schedule set the course for a smooth event. Our photos are beyond gorgeous. While planning a wedding in 2020 was a stressful and uncertain time, when we look back on the photos I see nothing but the perfect day we had! I’m so grateful for Alex and team capturing all the best moments of our wedding—these documents will be treasured for years to come. We’re already looking forward to working with Alex again at our reception! I would wholeheartedly recommend Idalia to any couple.

hotography’s style is timeless and romantic, we loved how bright the photos were. We were instantly drawn to it. Jocelyn and Marianne worked seamlessly with our videographer throughout the day, and we had a completely stress-free experience. Jocelyn, Marianne, and the team exceeded our expectations. They were an absolute joy to work with. We appreciated their calm presence, professional opinion, and efficiency while working with a bridal party of 25! They deserved a metal for being able to manage this huge bridal party while getting the most amazing photos. They made sure we got the shots we wanted in an expeditious manner so we had plenty of time to enjoy the cocktail hour and party! Alex was always responsive and informative (even after the wedding!) We have gotten so many compliments on our photographs – not only how amazing they are, but also the speed in which we received them. One week after our wedding, Alex provided a preview of fully edited photos and created a blog post of our special day which was nice to receive on our honeymoon. We then worked with Alex to create our wedding album. This process was also very smooth and Alex made it extremely easy with how organized and detail oriented she is. We can not describe to you how beautiful our wedding album came out! She was knowledgeable, professional and easy-going throughout the whole process. She made everything effortless for us. And, of course, her work is simply amazing. There is a reason she has so many five star reviews. She knows what she is doing and is clearly consistent. We couldn't be more pleased with her work, we recommend her highly for any wedding/engagement/celebration photography!

t, we knew that selecting Alex as our photographer was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. Her responses were always very prompt, and she was exceptionally organized and detail oriented. When we booked with her, she sent us a package that included a bridal guide and a gift card for a date night. During the holidays, she sent us a personalized ornament congratulating us on our engagement. It truly felt like she was just as excited as our friends and family! Throughout our engagement, Alex was always incredibly organized, professional, and thoughtful, going above and beyond with all our questions and requests. She made everything effortless for us. She provided recommendations for our engagement photo location, answered all our wedding-related queries, gave advice on vendor selection, and created our “day-of” wedding schedule. We also worked with Alex on our engagement photo album and wedding guest book, which was a very smooth and straightforward process. Alex’s blog provided many helpful resources during our wedding planning. It was where we looked to find bridal dress locations, bridal prep accessories, and so much more! On the day of our wedding, Alex came with a second photographer (Jocelyn) and her assistant. Alex and her team worked seamlessly with our videographer throughout the day, and we had a completely stress-free experience. We knew we were in the best hands, and they captured every moment of our wedding perfectly. Alex even helped put on the boutonnieres for the groom and the father of the bride! We had so much fun working with Alex and her team and we received so many compliments from our family and friends on how much they enjoyed their company. One week after our wedding, Alex provided a preview of fully edited photos and created a blog post of our special day. We received the entire gallery of fully edited photos within two months of the wedding. We then worked with Alex to create our heirloom wedding album. This process was also very smooth and straightforward, and words cannot adequately describe how beautiful our wedding album came out! Alex uses a high-quality lab to ensure that her couples have an heirloom album to share for generations. We are truly grateful to have had the pleasure of working with Alex of Idalia Photography for our wedding. She is top-notch in every respect. We highly recommend Idalia Photography for beautiful photos and a stress-free wedding experience!

dding day. No wonder why Idalia Photography has 5 stars! You will not be disappointed with their work!

absolutely amazing and I have no doubt that any couple who chooses Idalia would be pleased with their decision. First off, Alex and Jay are extremely professional and detail-oriented, a combination that is necessary especially during wedding planning. They were prompt with e-mails and were intimately involved with all the details of our wedding day. They had profiled us beforehand asking what photos were most important to us, who we needed to take photos with, and worked with our wedding planners to make sure all our photography needs were met on the big day. They seamlessly worked with our families and bridal party on the day of our wedding. Our family and friends enjoyed working with them and went out of their way to compliment them during and after our wedding. Though it rained our wedding day, Alex and Jay ensured our photos were a dream. A few days after our wedding we were in shock as we received around 100 edited photos from our wedding. My husband and I were so pleased to have received so many photos during our honeymoon. Most importantly, the photos were exactly what we wanted and perfectly captured the emotions from our big day. Alex and Jay’s style is timeless and romantic, exactly the feel we were going for. The photos have a light and airy feel and are memories we will cherish forever. Additionally, they do a great job of photographing all of the little details of the day that the couple may have missed. I’m so glad we have the photos to look back on all of it. If you are still deciding, please check out their website and instagram because you will quickly understand how beautiful their work is. Overall, they are a wonderful team who is extremely professional, talented and kind. I would highly recommend Idalia if you are seeking peace of mind on your wedding day!

ur day. Alex could not have been more amazing! We were thrilled she was available for our Labor Day weekend wedding. Her photos speak for themselves. She is an artist! She and another photographer, Amber, came to our home for pictures before our wedding, then we drove to the ceremony and reception. She captured special details, and so many happy moments and memories. She took gorgeous photos of our families, remembered our timeline, and captured incredible images of my husband's children. Her kind, professional manner made it comfortable to have her as a part of our wedding day and to communicate with during planning. We highly recommend to her to any couple or family.

t I NEEDED her as my wedding photographer. I wanted the light & airy look, but being pretty fair-skinned I, at the same time, didn't just want my photos overexposed and risk looking washed out. In my early wedding planning naivety, that was pretty much all I was looking for and I just (!) thought Alex took breathtaking photos. However, in hindsight, I gained so much more by booking with Alex. I can say with complete honesty, that she is the most professional vendor out there. From the start, she was flexible working with our budget, adjusting hours/services to make it work for us. If you're hesitating at all, just email her and you will see what I mean (though I hear her 2021 dates are all booked up, she does have associate photographers that have a few dates available as of the writing of this review!!!) After booking with Alex, she sent us a package filled with her bridal guide she wrote herself which was truly invaluable, plus extra goodies and mementos to get us excited for our wedding and to just enjoy the time we had as an engaged couple. Once we got our engagement photos back, it only further cemented our comfort level in having booked Idalia Photography. A couple months after our engagement session, COVID hit and without skipping a beat, Alex was with us every step of the way to make sure we could achieve a beautiful wedding, even with the restrictions in place. She listened to all my concerns and made everything work out. She created a wedding day timeline for us and worked with my wedding coordinator on the finer details. I knew I could trust Alex's expertise so I looked to her for vendor recommendations based on who she has worked with and found success with in the past. My photographer was my most important vendor since the photos are what last a lifetime, so I wanted to make sure everything jived with her. The day of the wedding, Alex came with her second shooter AND an assistant. I truly felt like they all wanted us to have the best day ever and we felt super taken care of. We opted to take extra pictures during our cocktail hour and I'm so glad we did because they came out so beautiful and, again, the pictures were so important to us (and don't worry, our caterer made sure we got the appetizers!). We got a preview of our photos back a week later and are obsessed! We've looked at them every day since, trying to relive all the memories we can because our day was so wonderful, thanks in BIG part to Alex and her team. We are so excited to get our full gallery back and we are sure they are going to blow us away! Also, because Alex brought an assistant with her, she was taking mini videos in the background and surprised us with an instagram reel a couple weeks after the wedding which brought tears to our eyes! In short, we LOVED having Alex. She was the easiest person to work with, extremely professional, top-notch talented and creative, and we have 0 regrets booking her. If you want to be rest assured that one area of your wedding is 100% taken care of, book this photographer and just trust her! I wish I could give a million stars! Thank you so much Alex for allowing us to relive the best day of our lives. 10-11-2020

cherish them forever. Alex is so professional and easy to work with. We don’t live locally, but she made booking and communication so simple and stress-free via Skype and email. She was always super prompt with answering any questions we had. She also sent us beautifully wrapped packages with cute date-night and holiday gifts in the months leading up to our wedding which was so thoughtful! Alex even traveled out of state (there was a very reasonable fee to cover flight and hotel) for our engagement shoot! She is such a talented photographer and was easily able to identify the best locations and angles even in a completely new environment. The photographer ends up being critical in making a wedding-day timeline because all of the other vendors will want to get a timeline from them. Alex is super organized and put together a detailed wedding-day itinerary for us and our vendors to follow in the month leading up to our wedding. She had contingency plans for weather and delays and took care of all of this organization and planning so that we didn’t have to worry at all! For that we are so grateful! We knew that we were in good hands during the entirety of the wedding planning process and that made everything so much less stressful. She and her team will absolutely make sure that they get all of the shots that you want (she asks for all of your requests beforehand), so you don’t have to worry about anything day-of besides enjoying your special day :) On our wedding day, Alex and Sarah were punctual, friendly, organized, and so professional. Our family and bridal party felt at ease with them and they actually made it fun to take photos (this is coming from a family that really don’t like being in front of a camera!). They directed when and where we should take photos depending on the lighting, and worked with our videographers all day to make sure that they weren’t in each other’s ways. They went above and beyond and even helped with my husband’s bow tie and boutonniere when YouTube tutorials weren’t helping, hah. They even brought umbrellas for us in case it started to rain! We received a sneak peak blog post a week after our wedding during our honeymoon which was the most amazing gift. It was a more generous sneak peak than we were expecting, and contained over 100 photos. Our full set of wedding photos were delivered via both USB (beautifully wrapped and engraved!) and an online gallery right on time based on our contract with over 1000 beautifully-edited photos, all neatly organized into different categories. The pictures are GORGEOUS! We cannot emphasize enough how in love we are with all of them and how many compliments we’ve received from friends and family on them. My husband especially loves the family shots and funny/epic dance shots they captured. Thank you Alex, Sarah, and the Idalia team for an incredible, stress-free experience and the most stunning photos!!! We highly, highly, recommend Idalia Photography for your wedding photography. They are 100% worth the investment for the amazing, stress-free experience and the beautiful images that you will cherish forever!

ions and additional information when needed. Our engagement shoot was amazing, and it was so great to get to know her before our wedding day. The aspect that made me feel so calm on my wedding day, was Alex's organization and attention to detail. Receiving a timeline of the day, the exact shots that would be taken and when put my mind at ease. She was also very flexible to some special shots I wanted taken. Our sneak peak photos came about a week after our wedding with the full gallery coming shortly after. Everything was in one place through the photo sharing program, along with a USB and other goodies Alex sent once all our photos were finished. I could go on and on about how great my husband and my experience was with Idalia Photography. 5 out of 5 in all aspects.

website as well as through others who had used them, but this was only the beginning. After we began working with them, we felt a level of comfort from both Jay and Alex that we were going to get the pictures we wanted. Our first interaction with Idalia was for our engagement shoot at the Jersey Shore with Alex. Alex did a fantastic job of collecting wonderful pictures of my wife and I on the beach, moving to multiple locations as we requested. We received access to our engagement photos very quickly after the engagement shoot through their online portal. This portal is incredibly easy to use, and allows you to sign your contract, pay for their services, and see your photos (organized for ease of access!). After this photo shoot, the communication levels remained high, touching base frequently to discuss the shots for our wedding, logistics, coordination, and all other details for our special day. Once our wedding day came, both Jay and Alex were professional , courteous, and focused on getting us the best pictures possible; as expected, they did not disappoint. We were beyond thrilled with the photos from our wedding, and are so excited to have them for the rest of our lives!!! We are so grateful for Jay and Alex and hope they have continued success with their photography. If you are looking for a photographer for a wedding (or any special event!), they are worth it and highly recommended from us!

and couldn't work my wedding. Alex stepped right in and took over putting my concerns at ease. She captured our wedding day beautifully and we couldn't be any happier. Besides being an amazing photographer, Alex is a truly caring and genuine person. She really cares about her clients. When we first booked Alex she sent us a small care package that included her catalog which provided tips on how to plan for the wedding, (which was extremely helpful) 2 movie tickets and a tote so me and my husband can relax and distress when needed because everyone knows wedding planning is STRESSFUL! Even after our wedding alex still thought about us and sent us a Mr. & Mrs. first year married Christmas ornament ! All in all, Alex is a very talented, thoughtful person and you would not be disappointed in the quality of her work.

r, more relaxed experience with both of them. The pictures are beyond words and the experience they gave us is one we will absolutely never forget. They played such a big part in making our wedding day the best day of our lives and we will continue to relive how happy we are they were there and made this possible. Everyone can't stop saying how beautiful all of our wedding photos are. From our engagement shoot at Laurita Winery, to the ceremony in NYC, and finally back to NJ for our reception, we would recommend Idalia Photography to anyone looking for timeless, beautiful, and elegant photos. Thank you again for such an incredible experience. =)

arm and easy to work with. Alex and Sarah could not have done a more spectacular job shooting our Fall wedding. They are the best and I recommend them without a doubt!

elied heavily on her timeline to plan out the day in full. And on the day of the wedding, Jocelyn and Sarah were SO much fun to work with!! They made our day so special and we couldn't be happier with our photos. THANK YOU!

lp guide me through my wedding day timeline. She offered multiple suggestions and alternatives to ensure my wedding day went as smoothly as possible. Most importantly, her and her team create the most magical photos I will enjoy for the rest of my life. I knew from the very start I made the right choice choosing Idalia, but I never imagined such a beautiful outcome as this! Thank you Idalia for capturing my wedding day in a way I will never forget!

lling to work with you. She sent the cutest welcome package after we booked her which lets you know she really cares about her couples. We had Marianne and Sarah shoot our wedding and they were wonderful! Our first look was hot, humid, and buggy, and then it rained during our ceremony - they seemed to enjoy shooting in both despite the crazy weather and made the photos look amazing. We got a sneak peak with a bunch of photos about 1 week after the wedding which was so fun to look at during the honeymoon! Then we got a few print outs with the delivery of our final photos on USB which was so sweet! Thank you Alex, Marianne, and Sarah for such a wonderful experience! I definitely recommend Idalia to any future couples - it's worth the money!

oking through their pictures. Alex and Jay were more than just our photographers, I felt like I was planning my wedding with them throughout year leading up to the big day. I was in contact with Alex pretty frequently from the time we booked them until the day of our wedding. They were extremely organized, prompting us to answer questions about the timeline of our wedding day, the family pictures we wanted to make sure we took and having a great location to take our pictures at in between our ceremony and our reception. Their organization of how they run their business helped me be proactive in planning the small details that could have added stress to the day had they been left to the last minute or overlooked. One of the things I was very impressed with, and grateful for, was the way they handled taking our family pictures. They had a list I had worked on with them and they stuck to it! The process was efficient and our family members knew exactly when and where they needed to be. Alex and Jay gave us beautiful pictures to remember our day by. They organized our pictures into segments of the day which made the process of picking our album pictures very easy. We also received a flash drive and a link to our pictures to share with family and friends. Something that makes Alex and Jay’s style stand out is their extreme attention to detail. I have so many pictures of the jewelry I wore, my shoes and even of the cocktail hour, place settings, etc. all of which were a blur to me on my wedding day. I am so grateful I have the pictures to look back on those details given the time, money and energy I put into to picking them out. Alex and Jay seem to get that the details of the day are just as important as the big moments. It is clear by looking at their portfolio of pictures that Alex and Jay take beautiful pictures, but what is even more important is how professionally they run their business and how much their guidance really helped keep me calm throughout the wedding planning process and kept me on top the details. They are true experts at weddings, beautiful artists and great partners for your wedding day. You will absolutely not be disappointed!

our expectations. The level of lighting, the natural poses, how comfortable she made us really made the experience one to remember and perfectly captured. Alex and Idalia Photography sent us great follow-ups and updates throughout the whole process and turnaround time was phenomenal! Thank you!!

nd photographers that we absolutely LOVED! From the minute my husband and I met Alex and Jay we knew that they would be our wedding photographers. I cannot recommend them enough. They are responsive, caring, and seriously talented. Alex was available to answer all of my wedding questions (including ones that weren’t even photography related) throughout the entire wedding planning process. She always responded within hours, which was so calming for this anxious, type-A bride. Months before the wedding, Alex and Jay sent us a very detailed timeline, and they were VERY flexible with it once we made several changes to our wedding day plan. The day of the wedding was incredible. It POURED all day, but I never worried for a minute. Alex and Jay arrived on time, with umbrellas and a plan to get us beautiful photos-no matter what the day brought. Our videographer, who was NOT part of Idalia or recommended by them, unfortunately did not show up in time to film the groomsmen getting ready. Of course, since this was part of our plan, it was very important to us. Jay stepped right in and even took some VIDEO footage for us! Alex and Jay were professional and patient with our 16-person bridal party, and got all of the shots we wanted all on the timeline that we planned. They also got us our photos SO quickly after the wedding so we could relive the memories and share them with our friends and families. Our photos are absolutely gorgeous and we are so thankful for them! In the end, Alex and Jay felt more like our friends and wedding guests than photographers that we hired!

otos and their style. Their style is light, airy, and romantic. They really get "in the moment" photos that are beautiful. They are a husband-wife team and they work so well together! They were extremely professional and always there if we had any questions leading up to the big day and on our wedding day. Not only are they extremely professional and fun to work with, they make a blog about your story (engagement and wedding photos) which is such a nice extra touch that a lot of other photographers do not do. Wedding photos last a lifetime, and we are so thankful that we hired Idalia to do ours! :) -Erin and Tim

ed up seeing venues based on photos we had seen of Idalia's. Once we booked our venue and date, the first and most important vendor to book (to us, at least) was our photographer. We spoke to a few photographers, but I knew I had wanted Idalia to capture our day from the beginning. Throughout the entire stressful wedding planning process, Alex made everything so easy for us. She recommended vendors to us, she answered any of my random wedding questions, and she even created a day-of schedule that everyone, including our parents, followed. The day of our wedding, Alex and Jay were amazing. They kept us on schedule, made it fun and relaxing, and captured our wedding beautifully. Within days, we were able to view 100 of their favorite pictures and relive our wedding day on our mini-moon. We even had some rain on our wedding day, but you couldn't tell because Alex and Jay took the most beautiful pictures. I could honestly keep going all day about how great our wedding photographer was! We would highly recommend Alex and Jay to any future brides looking for an amazing photographer as well as an amazing couple to capture their special day.

beautiful while taking your picture. Not only that, but Alex has an impeccable eye when it comes to candid shots and capturing the most beautiful small details that may have otherwise gone unseen. Alex and Jay are also very kind, funny, and charismatic. What I love most about them is that they sincerely love what they do. Nothing ever felt like a chore, but rather - every shot felt like a magical moment. They do a great job of providing guidance, such as which angle will facilitate the best lighting (and hence, the best pictures possible). My entire family, all of my friends and my husband absolutely loved working with them. They are timely, professional, kind, thoughtful, and they go above and beyond to make the clients happy. They make the process of getting your photos so easy through an app on your phone, and the turnaround time was insanely fast. They also allow you to view your photos via a custom USB which they kindly send in the mail speedily. Alex and Jay were troopers - they stayed the ENTIRE day, from well before the ceremony, through cocktail hour, family shots, first looks, bridal party, ceremony and reception. The service was just out of this world. I just cannot say enough kind things about working with Alex and Jay from Idalia, and I would refer anyone I know (or don't know) to them! It's a smart choice - do yourself the favor! You will not be disappointed!

glad it landed me with Idalia Photography! Alex beautifully captured our winter wonderland engagement shoot too! They are so easy to work with from booking to the wedding day and after, everything has felt so organized and smooth. Thank you guys! Your work speaks for itself!
