Ideal bakery was great to work with! Our wedding cake turned out just as we hoped and tasted amazing!! Highly recommended!

Ideal Bakery was wonderful! The wedding cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious. We had half cake and half donuts for our reception, and nearly everything (which was a ton) was eaten. Our families LOVED the donuts! Easy to work with and great services!

This was my favorite vendor to work with - both planning and execution! Kathi quite literally saved the day when we were ghosted by another bakery just over a month from our wedding day. She got us right in for a tasting in the adorable Fremont shop and was so much fun to work with. We were encouraged to pick at least FOUR different cake combinations and it was so hard to choose because they were all delicious. She made it easy to pay (Venmo) and even let us use their cake stand and topper. We got soooo many compliments on the cake and now recommend Ideal Bakery to anyone we can! Thank you Kathi!!

Kathy at Ideal Bakery was super easy to work with and helped make our vision for our wedding dessert a reality. We wanted a small cheesecake for the cake cutting part of our reception and it was delicious! We also did donuts instead of cake for our guests and they were so good that there were none leftover! If your looking for someone to provide desserts for your wedding, I’d book with Ideal!

Our cake was amazing in taste and appearance. We got cupcakes as well and they were a hit for everyone at the wedding. Guests were asking where we got them from, that is how good they were. Their tasting process is a definite must to taste all of the flavor combinations.

Ideal bakery is hands down the BEST bakery. John and Kathi are absolutely the best people to get to know and work with. They take so much pride in making sure you get exactly what you want for your day and they go above and beyond! Kathi loves to create and she will never lead you in a wrong direction. Couldn’t recommend them enough for your wedding day!

We could not have been happier with our Ideal Bakery wedding cake! Kathi and John made sure they had the supplies to make our cake exactly as we wanted, and it turned out even better than the pictures we shared. Bonus: the taste was great too! Amazing wedding cake and donuts with exceptional customer service!

WOW.. Just WOW. We were absolutely blown away with Ideal Bakery. Not only are they pleasant to work with, but so accommodating. I have Celiac Disease, and wanted a gluten free wedding cake made that I trusted. Kathi and John made a gorgeous 3 tier wedding cake (and my shower cake) completely gluten free, and more beautiful than I could ever imagine. Gluten free baking is a difficult thing, and this cake was PERFECT. Along with our beautiful wedding cake, we had a gorgeous desert table put together, which our guests devoured. In addition, Ideal Bakery traveled all the way to Oberlin to deliver and set up everything. My family, my husband, and I are so thankful for choosing Ideal Bakery for our special day.

We used Ideal for both our cocktail hour (donut holes) and our wedding cake. We received a lot of compliments on both, especially the donut holes. Our cake turned our beautiful and just what we had asked for. There was a slight communication mishap but nothing major and it was quickly resolved. Make sure to ask for a box for your anniversary cake if ordering!

Ideal Bakery lives up to their name, they are ideal! Our wedding cake was very tasty, we received many compliments on the flavors and fillings. Kathy had me submit color samples so that she could match the colors on the cake perfectly. Our wedding cake not only looked great, it tasted great!

We had a cake tasting about 6 months before our wedding and she presented all of our options well! However, we did have to email her many times to set some things straight and we were not given a cake box to store the top of our cake after the wedding. The cake was beautiful and delicious!

My cake was unique and exactly what I wanted. They do an amazing job with taking a picture and recreating what you want. The cake was also very delicious.

The food is always good! The problem I had was in contacting the baker because he is the only one who handles the wedding cakes. Do not leave messages for him because they will not get returned, instead call prior to 8am and you will have a better chance of reaching him

Exactly what the title says. The baker was impossible to get ahold of, and I was nervous that we wouldn't have a cake at our wedding. However, it did turn out very well (except they didn't put the topper on our cake).
