Ideal Impressions Photography

I was super excited going into the day with a photographer that knew what they were doing. I left very unhappy to the point I still want to cry. I literally have 2 pictures of my husband and I that are somewhat usable. I have literally 1 picture with my mother. For the thousands of dollars I spent I am heartbroken. At least I have 15 pictures of my dress on a hanger though.

I worked with Ryan for my wedding this past weekend at the Geneva National, and i cannot say enough about how amazing his work is ! Ryan was extremely communicative from the beginning , and he was so much fun to work with- not only did he suggest great ideas (definitely do the video fusion- trust me!), but he listened to what we wanted ! The morning after the wedding our photos were already being posted !!! If you are getting married in the lake Geneva area, you MUST use Ryan ! He is the BESt!!!!

Ryan and Krista were amazing! Not only are they fun to be around, but they were very good at coordinating our large wedding party for photos. The photos from my wedding are absolutely brilliant and our photofusion video still makes me cry. They do beautiful work and we got our video and photos within days after our wedding! Using Ideal Impressions for our wedding photography was easily one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. Thank you!!!

We could not be happier with our wedding photos. They are literally the best photos of us and our families maybe ever taken. Ryan was awesome. We had Joe Geldermann and Gio as our photographers and they were amazing! They were great to work with, had a sense of humor, and were prepared to take as many photos as I would like! They even printed some of the photos during our reception and placed the photos on the bar for all to see.

We cannot say enough good things about Ideal Impressions, we worked with Scottie from the very beginning through our entire wedding! Selecting our photographer was one of the most important decisions we made and we quickly knew we made the right one. Our mini engagement session with Scottie was relaxing and fun! Not to mention the pictures turned out great!! Leading up to the day we talked a lot to finalize the timeline for the day which helped things run so smoothly!!! On the day of we had Scottie and Joel with us which we are so thankful for! It's really hard to put into words how grateful we were to have them be a part of our day! We had so much fun with pictures the day of and so did our wedding party!!! It all was very apparent when we saw them after! First being with the photo fusion at our reception...this is a must! Scottie and his team were extraordinary for our wedding day! They were incredibly polite, professional and helpful during our wedding. Guests were blown on our wedding day of the quality of the movie/pictures that we showed during our reception. People continue talking about them weeks later! LOVED our photos & videos. Can't say enough great things about our photo experience. We actually had a directions-to-the-wedding mishap on our wedding day but they somehow kept it stress-free and delivered exceptional photos. Our engagement photo session was a blast and our guests and even non-guests are always commenting on the beautiful quality of our wedding photos. The guys are fun to work with, made things happen, and we would highly recommend them. Plus, the video & photos were done sooo quickly after the wedding! Many brides need to wait weeks but we were thrilled to have everything (and all of the rights to the photos) so soon after.

We are so happy that our daughter chose to hire Scottie to video her and our son-in-laws special day! He did a great job of capturing all the highlights of their wedding . . . from getting ready at our house, to the ceremony in church, to the wedding party pictures at the venue, to the speeches and the dancing. He not only captured these activities, but also our feelings at each moment of the day through his creative videography. Scottie was our videographer and did an absolutely amazing job; we could not be happier! Scottie was with us the entire day and captured every moment of our wedding. At first I was unsure about paying for a videographer, but now after the wedding, I can say it is a must and Scottie truly is the best! Scottie is great to work with and is extremely responsive. I could not be happier that Scottie was able to be part of our big day!

My family has known Brook for a while and have used her to take other family pictures before, so when we got engaged it was a no brainer as to which photographer I wanted to use! Brook and her team were amazing on our wedding day. We had Brook, Joel and Mikey. We can't say enough good things about this team. All day they were so amazing to work with and so positive and upbeat. Joel kept asking us if he could get us anything, like water or a drink - he totally didn't have to do that!! Brook was amazing taking our pictures, she could make a brick wall feel beautiful with the way she talks and poses you during photos. Our pictures are amazing! They also provided us with a photo booth. The photo booth was supposed to last for 2 hours but they had some technical difficulties at the beginning and made sure that we got a full 2 hours of functioning time, not just 2 hours of it being there. At the end of the photo booth time, there were still a few people in line and then a few more trickled over after the time was up. They still graciously took our guests pictures even though they had already gone way past the time they should have gone home. We had our photo fusion video the next morning in time to show at our brunch at 10am and then the rest of our pictures were up by Wednesday! We got married on a Friday! I could go on and on about how perfect our wedding day was and how wonderful Brook and her team were to work with. They definitely helped to make our day beyond perfect!

We just had our engagement photo shoot with Scottie of Ideal Impressions and could not be happier with our decision! Choosing a photographer was a very overwhelming process for me with so many things to take into consideration, but Ideal Impressions offered everything that we were looking for. Our guests really enjoyed the ipad photobooth during cocktail hour and during the reception the live photo booth was a big hit! My new husband Ken and I are so happy we went with this company for our wedding photographers! Scottie, Joel and Gio were amazingly fun to work with and so creative! You can tell they really take what they do seriously and love it just as much. They made me feel so at ease and so happy on one of the most stressful and exciting days of my life. We were lucky enough to get Ryan, Joe and Heather to photograph our wedding day. Words cannot express how amazing they were. Prior to the wedding Ryan was organized, professional and on top of EVERYTHING. On wedding day their team was attentive, efficient and captured beautiful photos beyond what we could have ever thought to ask for. They played a 6 minute video fusion (photos and video clips from THE SAME DAY) during our reception, that was unbelievably stunning and blew my husband, myself and our guests away! Ryan and his team were absolutely phenomenal! He was worth every penny! We were able to get exactly what we wanted and more! He was very personable and knowledgable and gave great recommendations for the shots we wanted and even put more creativity than we asked for in the shots. He went above and beyond at getting some shots, like walking into the lake to capture the best angle! Every guest keeps going on their site and looking at all the photos! We have gotten nothing but compliments! They also are raving about the day of video that ryan was able to put together that included both video and photo moments from the day up the evening. I would highly recommend Ryan and his team! They have great ideas and work so well that you don't even know that they are capturing the perfect shot!

Ryan and his team are amazing ! He was always there when we had questions, whether it was via email or phone call. He had our wedding photos done within 24 hours, and our traditional wedding album was waiting for us when we got back from the honeymoon ! I would highly recommend this company ! Their work is beautiful and well worth every penny spent !

Ideal Impressions has been wonderful to work with from the beginning. They make it easy to pay via paypal in whateve increments you want until a week or so before the wedding. Heather took the photos for our wedding while Caleb took video. They were both so easyand fun to work with, especially for someone who doesn't especially like photos being taken of themself. Our engagement pictures turned out great and I am even further impressed with our wedding photos and photofusion. I had some photos to me the same day and even more the following day! Their turn around time is wonderful! I love how you can access your photos quickly! I highly recommend Ideal Impressions Photography and Heather and Caleb!!

Ryan and Troy from Ideal Impressions absolutely blew our minds with their creative talent and generosity! Starting with the planning process, I had no question that Ryan understood what I was looking for, and his suggestions made me so excited to see our final product! On our wedding day, they were on time, organized, extremely professional, and I really appreciated how they directed our bridal party to get the perfect photos. On top of that, when we ran into a hiccup at the reception (we forgot the projector for the slideshow), Troy ran back to the studio to grab their projector, and Ryan unplugged the HDMI cable from his own TV so we could share our slideshow with our guests. Above and beyond doesn't begin to describe the service Ideal Impressions provided, and my husband literally looked through our photos all day the day after our wedding - because Ryan uploaded them before we even checked out of the hotel. I cannot say enough good things about these guys - you can't go wrong asking them to be a part of your big day (one of my bridesmaids already has)! Thank you so much!!

From the moment I called them they got us in right away to take engagement pictures so we could decide if we wanted them for our wedding. As soon as it was over with, my fiance (then) and I looked at each other and new instantly we needed to book them. They were great throughout the process. Sending them anything their way I knew they would handle it. They even drove to the wedding site with us to take a look to pick out the perfect spots for pictures. If the weather didn't work out, they always had a back up plan of what to do next. You never waited around for them to figure out what to do, they always knew what to shoot next and to keep it going. I would HIGHLY suggest them to anyone! They do an amazing job and to see all of your pictures 24 hours after your wedding is unheard of. We even got to see a video during the reception dinner that was put together by them. Pictures last a lifetime and I would absolutely book them again for another event!

We decided to get a Videographer last minute and Ryan, from Ideal Impressions was very accommodating and easy to work with. We are so happy we did it! The Video he put together is something we will cherish forever. We also rented a photobooth which was a blast. I highly recommend!

From the moment my fiance and I met Ryan, we knew we had hit the photographer jackpot. He was easy-going but professional, attentive to our questions and requests, and an overall nice guy. We aren't the most comfortable being photographed, but Ryan's gentle direction and enthusiasm for his craft made us both feel at ease in front of the camera. Trust me, you want to work with the guy who exudes joy when he's shooting your photos. You can clearly tell Ryan loves what he does for a living. Our wedding day was cool and cloudy, but before I had the chance to get worried, Ryan assured me that it was the best kind of lighting for an outdoor photo shoot. When we got the email that our images were ready (lightning fast, by the way - none of this waiting for months for your wedding photos!) I could tell right away that he was right. The lighting was soft and dreamy, and I was thrilled that they had incorporated the poses and overall feel that we'd told Ryan we liked. Friends and family who've seen our photos comment that they are fun, creative, relaxed, and really captured the easy going feeling of our wedding day. There's not a single boring, cookie-cutter wedding photo in the bunch! We love our photos and can't recommend Ideal Impressions highly enough.

IDEAL IMPRESSIONS WAS THE BEST THING ABOUT OUR WEDDING! My husband and I got married August 16th where Ryan (Owner) and Jake were our photographers. I can not express how much we loved their work, professionalism, creativity, kindness, and attentiveness. They came to the table with such great ideas and had the skills to execute them. At our reception we "trashed the dress" by running into Lake Geneva. They were the most fun and exciting shots! They captured all the moments and emotion during the day. Not to mention the video/photo fusion they prepared while our guests were eating dinner. They played the video following dinner for all of our guests to watch then lead into our first dance. The photo booth was fun and made for some really funny and great memories of for guests. I can not express how happy we were with their service. I had a great experience working with Ideal Impressions as my wedding photographer. From the first meeting with Patty to the next meeting with our photographer Jake. He made sure he got all the shots we wanted and even though it was not the best weather he made the best of it and got amazing shots. Jake also worked with Scotty as his assistant photographer who also did a great job, they worked very well together and were very easy to work with. Jake had all of our pictures edited and uploaded to the website the same night as our wedding and our family and friends were happy to be able to look at the pictures right away! I highly recommend them!

Ideal Impressions is the best!!! Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the wedding day video and photos displayed during our reception were. If you want to hire someone who has perfected their craft and isn't just going to give you photographs, hire Ideal Impressions!

IIP is awesome in every sense! Every member of the team was kind, and helpful. Patie and Ryan took time with my husband and I in the booking process to be sure we were getting everything we needed. Ryan and his team spent time with us during our engagement shoot to get to know our style, and we had the ultimate pleasure of working with Ryan, Brian, and Joe during our wedding day. They were professional, FUN (I even had groomsmen coming up to me telling me they were having a blast during the photos!), and not to mention took the most beautiful photos! Of all the vendors we booked for our wedding, we felt our photographer was the most important, and I can say with complete confidence that IIP was the best choice we could have made. They captured our wedding day, and helped to give us lasting memories that will last a lifetime! As a sidenote- if you are looking into them, the video services we offered, and the same day photo matrix are amazing! We chose both options, and the matrix brought us/our guests to tears, and the highlight videos that Ryan put together are one of our favorite wedding keepsakes!

We used Ideal Impressions Photography for our wedding photography in July 2011. Jake was a wonderful photographer to work with and he captured over 1,000 photos! Ideal Impressions provides their customers with 2 DVDs of all images, which you can then print on your own or purchase off their website. I would definitely recommend Ideal Impressions Photography!

We went with Ideal Impressions because everyone in the area uses them and we have several friends who shoot for them. There pictures looked good on the website so we decided to go with them even though they were a little bit out of our price range. In the end our pictures turned out beautiful and we are very happy with them! However the beautiful pictures were tainted with the fact that our photographer was very slow.... slow to get back to us... very slow to get our engagements pics back to us (he told a few days it ended up being over a month).... he was good at getting about 120 edited pics of our wedding up (which we love) but we are still waiting for the rest of them (like our formal family portraits)... In the end we found out that our photographer had actually left the company over "creative differences"... He was a super nice guy and I felt really comfortable with him, I just wished he would have gotten back to us in a more timely manner! Overall I would recommend Ideal Impressions!

Photography was one of the most important things to me for my wedding. My photographer, Josh, was easy to work with and his pictures are AMAZING! We did a destination engagement session in Chicago and then he and his team were with us from the time we got ready until the late hours of the night at our reception. Every person that has seen our pictures just can't stop telling me how absolutely beautiful, amazing and gorgeous our pictures are. If photography is important to you for your wedding, Ideal Impressions is the easy & best choice.

The pictures and video speak for themselves, but the Ideal Impressions team is amazing! Very professional and skilled, with a modern eye. Ryan and Krista Bensheimer were the photographers/ videographers for our wedding and we could not be happier with the results! They are based in Wisconsin, but travel and do destination weddings quite frequently. They even put together a video the night of our wedding and showed it at the reception! So cool!!

Matt is great. He does tons of photo editing and he gets your photos of the ceremony and earlier in the day up at your reception during a slideshow. It was amazing.
